The purpose of this study is to identify and quantify risks that may occur any time in the application of information technology in a company, as well as to provide information on the risks associated with the security of information technology system of the company. The methods used are: data collection and analysis techniques. Data collection includes: literature and field studies, in which the field study is conducted by interview and observation. Analytical technique used in the measurement of risk is OCTAVE-S. The results found the risks associated with security management, contingency planning, vulnerability management, as well as design and security architecture. It iscocluded from this this study that there are still a lot of risks that can threaten companies such as lack of contingency and disaster recovery plan.

This paper describes enhancement in teacher performance in implementing the learning process, after academic supervision is carried out. Transformation in the form of attendance, fulfillment of work tools, time discipline, use of media, and teaching skills are indicators of this. The method used for research is qualitative with quantitative data collection and analysis techniques, and Classroom Action Research approach. The number of teachers used as a sample was 20 people, and the results obtained showed that after the research was carried out in cycle I and cycle II, a total of 85% sampled for 10 aspects of the assessment increased their performance. This data shows the achievement of the successful implementation of supervisory academic supervision of PAIBP teachers.

News providers today offer interactive sources that engage people, enable them to build community, and to participate in the news. At the same time, the digital interfaces through which people access the news are continuingly evolving, diverse, and oftentimes visually complex. How these factors shape human information seeking in news-oriented virtual communities is a relatively new area of study and therefore greater understanding of their influence on human behavior is of much practical value. In this chapter, the authors explore trends and developments in news-oriented virtual communities. They review several data collection and analysis techniques such as content analysis, usability testing and eye-tracking and propose that these techniques and associated tools can aid the study of news communities. They examine the implications these techniques have for better understanding human behavior in virtual communities as well as for improving the design of these environments.

The purpose of this research is to describe the results of the exploration of ethnomathematics of Sasak culture that can be used as a source of learning mathematics. This type of research is exploratory qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This research focuses on buildings, crafts, arts, and traditional snacks. The research instrument is the researcher himself. While the method of data collection by interview, field studies, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with triangulation are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Sasak cultural products can be used as a source of learning mathematics, especially on the elements of geometry including rectangles, triangles, trapezoid, circles, rhombus, laying-kites, cones, cylinders, and pyramid. Learning resources derived from Sasak culture, if properly utilized, will create meaningful mathematics learning for students.

A fundamental consideration when attempting to understand the complex factors leading to the underrepresentation of women in IT is the choice and use of theory. Theories about women and their relationships to information technology and the IT profession guide the conceptualization of the research problem, the methods of data collection, the basis for analysis, and the conclusions that are drawn. However, a criticism of gender and IT research is that the topic of gender and IT is currently undertheorized (Adam, Howcroft, & Richardson, 2001, 2004). This undertheorization takes on several different forms. First, there are cases in which there is no theory in evidence to guide the conceptualization of the research project or to inform the data collection and analysis. Rather, the focus is typically on compiling and representing statistical data regarding the differences between men and women with respect to technology adoption, use or involvement in the IT profession. This form of undertheorization can be labeled pre-theoretical research. Second, other research, while not explicitly articulating a particular theory, nevertheless, is guided by a theory-in-use. For example, quite often a theory of inherent differences between males’ and females’ relationships to IT is used implicitly to guide data collection and analysis. This form of undertheorization can be labeled implicit-theoretical research. This approach is considered to be a type of undertheorization in that the lack of explicit discussion of a theory makes it difficult for others to discuss, challenge or extend the research. Finally, the body of research that reflects explicit theory-in-use has been shown to have gaps in the theoretical landscape (Trauth, 2002). That is, an argument has been made that current theories about gender and IT do not fully account for the variation in men’s and women’s relationships to information technology and the IT field. This form of undertheorization can be labeled insufficient-theoretical research. It is this third condition that is addressed in this article: the need for new theoretical insights to guide our effort to understand the underrepresentation of women in the IT profession.

Likewise, a person's ideas can be traced where the origin comes from through memetic tracing. This article discusses case studies in several works which are assumed to be works of design product plagiarism at one of the famous universities in Indonesia. The plagiarism process is investigated through tracking changes in their memes. The research method was carried out by investigation. Data collection and analysis through field studies and in-depth interviews with participants who are actors and users of plagiarism products. The research was conducted in 2017. The results showed that plagiarism resulted in degradation of physical and visual qualities, visual disguises for the purpose of copycat self-actualization, and a sense of innocence from them.

This research at the beginning discusses the development of press releases that have been developed into various aspects, ranging from the media used, the themes presented, to the genres classified in a study. Departing from the research of Catenaccio (2008), this study wants to examine the structure created from that research, whether it is still relevant today and can show informative and promotional genres in a press release. Thanks to its freedom to be applied in various types of press releases, this research will choose a company based from a data that mentioned company that gained many profit during the Covid-19 pandemic and had many products released, which is Netflix. Data collection and analysis methods used in this study were convenience sampling and structural analysis from Catenaccio. Through convenience sampling, there are three articles selected up to June 15, those published on May 27, June 06 and June 10, 2021. The result of the analysis is that the structure of Catenaccio  which contains the format of writing press releases, does not match the format of writing press releases in Netflix, but main points such as leads, justifying the product, detailing the product and explicit promotional components still applicable and determine the genre in press releases. The genres of Netflix press releases are hybrid because they contain an informative and promotional genre. A new structure that has been modified in this study is also offered for further research, with a wider selection of press release articles and other data collection techniques.
