The study of leadership has become an important part amid a multidimensional crisis and a decline in morality in various leadership settings; the significance of this leadership influences the organizational system's sustainability. Thus, this research study aims to build a portrait of Islamic education leadership as an ideal leadership model through the internalization of al-Fatihah's values. This study aims to unpack Islamic school leadership values and principles from al Fatihah verses as an ideal leadership model by internalizing al-Fatihah's values. The findings suggest a) Surah al Fatihah contains Islamic school leadership value derived from rabbaniyah value (monotheism) and Insaniyah value (relationship with others). b) changing Islamic school leadership paradigm from indoctrination to active participation. This study demonstrates that all Islamic education organizations should act by inspiring without indoctrination, awakening without hurting, and arousing without forcing.

This paper discusses the effectiveness of English Diction election by Headmaster in Managing Institutions of Islam. Language consists of several ranks grammatical include words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. The word is the lowest level and the sentence is the highest level. When you write, the word is a key element in the effort to write. Therefore, a number of words in Indonesian should be well understood, so that one's ideas and messages can be easily understood. Thus, the words used to communicate to be understood in the context of the paragraph and discourse. The word as an element of the language, can not be used arbitrarily. However, these words should be used by following the correct rules. This Pnelitian use This research is qualitative descriptive study which is expected to reveal a variety of information-description rigorous analysis and meaningful. Sources of data in this research include the principals of this research study ju analysis pusataka research is to investigate the theory of structuralism and Derrida Jacquest dekonstruktifisme. Data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation and study the literature. Adapaun data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and analysis of data. The results of such research are (a) the selection of appropriate language diction will lead to a successful school leadership to manage and develop the advanced study lead.

This paper aims to discuss Islamic educational leadership, specifically describing transformational leadership that is applied in Islamic education. The author uses the study of literature as an attempt to embody the reader regarding the current issues of Islamic education leadership. The current condition of Islamic education in Indonesia needs to be discussed because it has been through a process of acculturation between traditional and modern culture. After experiencing several obstacles, Islamic education institutions are now able to compete in the global era. Of course, the person who is capable of making changes and advancements in Islamic education institutions here is the leader, and as a result we can see that today there are various kinds of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. With a historical concept that preserves traditional culture that is still relevant and accepts new cultures that are suitable (read: transformation) with the needs of Islamic educational institutions.

Leadership is a process of someone to influence other people in a group through a communication process to achieve a determined goal or target. Islamic education is a process of educating, guiding, and shaping children's personalities in accordance with Islamic teachings to be noble. Islamic education is also taught by parents to their children from the time they were born to adulthood to equip them while in the world and in the hereafter. The basics of Islamic education are sourced from the Qur'an and Sunnah Rasul which can be developed with ijtihad. The purpose of Islamic education is to form a human who is fearful of Allah SWT, by fearing Him then having a noble attitude, personality and character. Leadership in Islamic education plays a role an important for school residents. Leadership in Islamic education influences teachers to guide, educate, and motivate their students to achieve their goals and ideals. Educational leadership will be achieved well in carrying out its duties, must emulate the noble characteristics of the prophet, that is: sidq, amanah, tabligh, fathonah. Characteristics of quality leadership in Islamic education, that is: happy to get along with others, avoid false professionalism, are good at managing change, are good at choosing people, avoid doing everything themselves, and not be afraid of failure. The right leadership model in Islamic education is the situational leadership model and spiritual leadership model.

During the school management, it is very important to have an effective school but more important is to use the right styles according to health safety and high outcomes. The leadership is a wide concept in general way and a specific one according to the education and school too. The tradition of school leadership is new in Albania. The education leadership in the new Albanian context request establishing of school leadership. The knowledge and application of contemporary education leadership it is obligatory for improvement and raising effectively to Albanian school. This study is focus in the influence of educational leadership styles in the job teachers stress and satisfaction. The research question is: what is the best and right education leadership style need to be applied in Albanian school. The research method is a quantities and qualitative way through the questionnaires, semi and structures interviews. The conclusion is that no all the educational leadership styles that are effective ones, are the right educational leadership styles. This conclusion brings the need to be selected the educational organizational theories for an effective school through the right educational leadership styles.

This research study discusses the Management of the Albanna Foundation for Islamic Education Institutions in South Denpasar 2007-2019. The purpose of this study is to find out the background of the formation of the Albanna Foundation, how the Albanna Foundation management system is and what challenges are faced by the Albanna Foundation managers. The research methodology used by the author is the social history of education. The theory used in the research by the author is called historical theory such as historical understanding and structural functional theory. The results of this study explain that the formation of the Albanna School started from the idea to pioneer an Islamic School from the Albanna builder and administrator founded by Saifuzzuhri. The Albanna Foundation is an Islamic school that has a religious character and has a global perspective in the concept of Islamic education that provides support for school efforts to advance themselves and implement a management system and infrastructure in Albanna. The challenges in managing the Albanna Foundation he faced with reference to technology and human resources.

AbstractPedagogical competence is one of important competencies to the teachers. Therefore, this study aims to determine how the pedagogical competence of teachers is, viewed from the aspects of learning know­ledge skills, preparation of lesson plans, and learning in the classroom. This study used the quantitative method with 631 respondents of civil servant teachers of Islamic Education at school and teachers of ge­neral subjects at madrasah (Islamic school) recruited from non-permanent teachers in 20 districts/cities in Central Java province, selected at random. The findings show that teachers’ pedagogical competence knowledge on the aspect of learning knowledge skills is in the “poor” category, the aspect of students’ potential development knowledge and reflective efforts to improve the learning quality becomes a very weak point at an average value with the “very poor” category. In addition, the aspect of ability to prepare lesson plans is in the “sufficient” category, the teaching material organization and the evaluation aspect are very weak competence aspects, which get “poor”. Meanwhile, the competence of learning implemen­tation aspect is in the “sufficient” category. AbstrakKompetensi pedagogik merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang penting bagi guru. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kompetensi pedagogik guru, dilihat dari aspek kemampuan pengetahuan pembelajaran, menyusun rancangan pembelajaran (RPP), dan pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan responden 631 guru PNS Pendidikan Agama Islam pada sekolah dan guru mata pelajaran umum pada madrasah yang direkrut dari guru honorer di 20 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Tengah yang dipilih secara random. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru pada aspek kemampuan pengetahuan pembelajaran dalam kategori “kurang”, aspek pengetahuan pengembangan potensi peserta didik dan upaya reflektif untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran menjadi titik yang sangat lemah dengan mendapat nilai rata-rata dengan kategori “sangat kurang”. Selain itu, aspek kemampuan menyusun RPP dalam kategori “cukup”, aspek pengorganisasian materi ajar dan aspek evaluasi merupakan aspek kemampuan yang sangat lemah dengan mendapatkan nilai “kurang”. Sedangkan, aspek kemampuan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dalam kategori “cukup”.

Through analyzing data from 147 professors of educational leadership and 457 future school leaders in a national sample, the study (a) inquired into the di mensionality of the instructional goals of the school leadership program and (b) com pared the importance of these instructional goals as perceived by the two groups. It was found that the respondents perceived there were multidimensions to the instruc tional goals of the school leadership program and that there was more similarity than difference between the two groups. Implications of the findings were discussed in terms of developing and improving the school leadership program.

This study is aimed at revealing how is the Empowerment Education of Madrasah at  Fisherman village Suku Laut Kuala Tungkal Jambi Province. Islamic schools are generally born from the initiation of society as a form of concern for the condition of the people, especially children in understanding the special religion of Islam as a matter of doubt. This research is conducted by using qualitative approach, where the stage is based on the opinion of Spradley . Data collection methods and data validity refer to Denzin and Lincoln and Guba. Result search,  Islamic schools gait has contributed greatly to this country not only in providing a religious understanding, but also in participating to educate the children of the nation through the educational process that has lasted tens or even hundreds of years. In its journey, the empowerment of Islamic schools experienced various dynamics, commitment of Islamic school leadership, public awareness and supporting efforts became the issue that made Islamic schools hard to develop as expected.

<em>A globalization, which looks like both sides of one coin, has both positive and negative impacts. The globalization inspired not only by capitalism but also by pragmatism has practically affected the education in Indonesia. The roles of education become practically unfamiliar and faraway from society needs. The globalization takes some issues such as competence, standardization, and commerce. To face this era, what should Islamic education do as sub-system of national education? The Islamic school (madrasah) as a sub-system of Islamic education in Indonesia, had extremely strong experienced to face the challenges at the last era of Dutch colonialism. The fact that madrasah had not only an autonomy but also an intellectual resources had proven that it could fulfill the needs of Islamic community. These are cultural potencies which should be kept and not be abandoned for the sake of globalization interest. The globalization as a cultural transformation process affects the world, especially the practice of education in Indonesia. All people using science and technology can easily access the global culture. The global culture which is value-free should be faced by transformation of values of which Islamic scholars had transformed in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) and Islamic schools (madrasah). In other word, both pesantren and madrasah should not be entrapped in capitalism ideology and could serve all people. It is because the paradigm of Islamic education differs from that of both capitalism and pragmatism. The article tries to elaborate how Islamic education in Indonesia especially madrasah should be positioned in the global era</em>

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of school leadership by the principal and self-efficacy towards the teachers’ motivation. This research used expost facto method, by involving 165 Natural Science teacher of integrated Islamic school as a randomly selected sample. The results of this research indicates that there are significantly differences in motivation of the Natural Science teachers between teachers led by principals who have a transformational leadership with transactional leadership. There is also a significant interaction impact between principal's leadership and self-efficacy on the teachers’ motivation.
