This study is aimed at revealing how is the Empowerment Education of Madrasah at  Fisherman village Suku Laut Kuala Tungkal Jambi Province. Islamic schools are generally born from the initiation of society as a form of concern for the condition of the people, especially children in understanding the special religion of Islam as a matter of doubt. This research is conducted by using qualitative approach, where the stage is based on the opinion of Spradley . Data collection methods and data validity refer to Denzin and Lincoln and Guba. Result search,  Islamic schools gait has contributed greatly to this country not only in providing a religious understanding, but also in participating to educate the children of the nation through the educational process that has lasted tens or even hundreds of years. In its journey, the empowerment of Islamic schools experienced various dynamics, commitment of Islamic school leadership, public awareness and supporting efforts became the issue that made Islamic schools hard to develop as expected.

AbstractSupreme Court Regulation (PERMA) No. 14 of 2016 concerning Procedures for Settling Sharia Economic Disputes requires the readiness of the handling of professional religious justice apparatus, including in the Giri Menang religious court, NTB, where this research was conducted. The jurisdiction of the religious court covers two districts, namely West Lombok and North Lombok. The high economic activity of the people in contact with sharia financial institutions in the two districts allows many cases to be accepted. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a focus on the response of the judges about their authority in handling sharia economic cases and to see their readiness to settle cases after the issuance of PERMA. Data collection methods used are observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires were distributed to 12 respondents, namely all judges in the PA. The results of the analysis show that in general the judges responded positively to the authority to handle sharia economic cases. In addition, they were ready to settle the sharia economic dispute after the issuance of PERMA.AbstrakKeluarnya Peraturan Mahkamah Agung (PERMA) No. 14 Tahun 2016 tentang Tata Cara Penyelesaian Sengketa Ekonomi Syariah menuntut kesiapan penanganan dari aparatur peradilan agama secara profesional termasuk di pengadilan agama Giri Menang, NTB, tempat penelitian ini dilakukan. Wilayah yurisdiksi dari pengadilan agama tersebut meliputi dua kabupaten, yaitu Lombok Barat dan Lombok Utara. Tingginya aktifitas ekonomi masyarakat yang bersentuhan dengan lembaga keuangan syariah di kedua kabupaten tersebut memungkinkan munculnya banyak perkara yang akan diterima. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan fokus pada respon para hakim tentang kewenangannya dalam menangani perkara ekonomi syariah dan untuk melihat kesiapan mereka dalam menyelesaikan perkara pasca keluarnya PERMA tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan kuesioner yang disebar kepada 12 responden, yaitu seluruh hakim yang ada di PA tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkkan bahwa secara umum para hakim merespon positif atas kewenangan untuk menangani perkara ekonomi syariah. Selain itu, mereka telah siap dalam menyelesaikan perkara sengketa ekonomi syariah pasca keluarnya PERMA tersebut

This study examined the harmonization of five religions (Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Hinduism, and Buddhism) that are adhered to by the people of Mojorejo Village, Batu, East Java. This village has an important role, as it becomes the first area in Batu, East Java – that implement and develop the concept of religious pluralism and harmonization in one village area thus it has been awarded as “A Village that is Aware of Religious Harmony” from the government of Batu. Therefore, this study aimed to understand the constructs of religious harmony that have been successfully established in Mojorejo Village, Batu, East Java. The theory underlying this study is Nurcholis Madjid’s theory of humanist pluralism. This study used a qualitative approach to produce descriptive data in the form of oral, written, and observable behavior. Through three data collection methods (observation, in-depth interview, a study of documents), this study concludes that the religious harmony construct of the Mojorejo Village community is established from a pattern of accustoming mutual respect among villagers which is carried out both naturally and sustainably. This continuity manifests through cooperation in three ways: religious, social, and cultural cooperation so that it can lead to the emerge of perspectives, ideas, and a social environment capable of maintaining and preserving religious plurality in harmony. Therefore, the application of religious harmony in Mojorejo Village, Batu, East Java can be used as an alternative solution for other areas in locating and facilitating religious plurality so that it remains harmonious amid a pluralistic community.

Abstract: Cultural transformation becomes wide open in the midst of society to be investigated. The people of Kolaka Ethnic Mekongga District have a mosehe wonua ritual as a space of cultural expression that grows over a long period of time and then undergoes transformation. The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1) how are the forms of transformation of the Wonua Mosehe ritual in Kolaka Regency, and 2) What are the factors that cause the transformation of the Mosehe Wonua ritual in the Kolaka Regency. This study aims to describe and analyze the forms of transformation of the Wonua mosehe ritual in Kolaka District, and describe and analyze the factors that cause the transformation of the Wonua Mosehe ritual in Kolaka District. As a basis for analysis, this study uses the theory of cultural transformation. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods using observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this analysis show that the forms of mosehe wonua ritual transformation include three things, namely: 1) transformation in aspects of knowledge, 2) transformation in technological aspects, and 3) transformation in aspects of ritual presentation. While the factors causing the transformation are caused by three things, namely: 1) educational factors, 2) ideological factors of community religiosity, and 3) cultural innovation factors.Keywords: Transformation, Ritual, Mosehe Wonua

This article aims to shed light on the stigmatization of two pesantrens in Bima as the base camp of radical and terrorist groups. The negative stigma attached to the pesantren has come to the fore due to the alleged affiliation of the school superintendents to several national terrorist groups. Such a stigmatization has promoted the belief that pesantren as an educational institution is increasingly becoming a home base that is lucrative to the growth of radical ideologies. Drawing on the phenomenological qualitative approach, this study focuses on two pesantrens in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara. This study looks at why such stigmatization on Islamic schools are thriving and what conditions that triggers it. This study shows that the curriculum, exclusive ideologies and traits, and the teaching and learning process of the schools, which tend to indoctrinate, are found to contribute to such a negative stigma to these two Islamic schools.

The Book Jonah is one of the books in the Old Testament. In this book, God tried to show His mercy to the people of Niniveh although they were living in many transgressions, and they repented after they heard Jonah’s messages. But in this book speaks more about Jonah’s journey to fulfill God’s calling in his life toward Niniveh, how Jonah responded to God. This research used data collection methods by searching literature such as books and journals related to the writer’s objectives. An analysis method is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods.  How Jonah responded to God’s calling were: running away, obeying but with dissatisfaction or grumbling, and obeying with fullest of understanding.  The implementation and conclusion from this analysis will teach us about the nature of God’s heart toward sinners and how we should respond to our calling from God to please Him.        Abstrak: Kitab Yunus adalah salah satu kitab dalam Perjanjian Lama. Dalam buku ini, Tuhan berusaha menunjukkan belas kasihan-Nya kepada orang-orang Niniveh meskipun mereka hidup dalam banyak pelanggaran, dan mereka bertobat setelah mendengar pesan Yunus. Tetapi dalam buku ini berbicara lebih banyak tentang perjalanan Yunus untuk memenuhi panggilan Allah dalam hidupnya menuju Niniveh, bagaimana Yunus menanggapi Allah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan mencari literatur seperti buku dan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan tujuan penulis. Metode analisis adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Bagaimana Yunus menanggapi panggilan Allah adalah: melarikan diri, mematuhi tetapi dengan ketidakpuasan atau menggerutu, dan mematuhi dengan penuh pengertian. Implementasi dan kesimpulan dari analisis ini akan mengajarkan kita tentang sifat hati Allah terhadap orang berdosa dan bagaimana kita harus menanggapi panggilan kita dari Allah untuk menyenangkan Dia.

Abstrak: Kabupaten Bima memiliki ragam budaya, adat, dan tradisi yang beraneka ragam.Salah satu ciri khas dari Kota Bima adalah adanya “Uma Lengge” yang merupakan Rumah adat bagi masyarakat suku Mbojo.“Uma Lengge” tersebut berada tepatnya di Desa Maria, Kecamatan Wawo, dan Desa Sambori Kecamatan Lambitu Kabupaten Bima, Pulau Sumbawa.kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat yang menyadari adanya Rumah Adat Bima, sehingga banyak sekali orang yang belum mengetahui keberadaan Rumah Adat Bima (Uma Lengge) ini, tidak banyak yang tahu keberadaannya bahkan masyarakat sekitar Kec. Wawopun banyak yang belum mengetahui keberadaan Uma Lengge.Ini diakibatkan kurangnya pemerintah dalam memilih strategi pelestarian untuk memperluaskan keberadaan Uma Lengge.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis tentang strategi pelestarian wisata Budaya, serta untuk menjelaskan kemanfaatan daya tarik wisata Budaya dengan gambaran strategi pelestarianUma Lengge (Rumah Adat Bima) Sebagai Objek Daya Tarik Wisata yang berbasis masyarakat atau komunitas. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan tipe penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan cara mengolah dan menganalisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan analisis data hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Strategi pelestarian Uma Lengge (Rumah Adat Bima) yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Bima adalah: (a) Perencanaan yang dimana perencanaan dalam pelestarian Uma Lengge (Rumah Adat Bima), (b) Pelaksanaan kebijakan yang dimana pelaksanaan kegiatan peningkatan peran serta masyarakat dalam pembangunan kebudayaan dan pariwisata, (c) Meningkatnya kapasitas sumber daya dan sarana prasarana aparatur, meningkatkan citra pariwisata didalam dan luar negeri, menciptakan produk pariwisata khas bima yang komparatif dan kompetitif, (d) Sarana dan Prasarana yang ada di kawasan Wisata Uma Lengge (Rumah Adat Bima) diantaranya: akses jalan menuju Uma Lengge (Rumah Adat Bima), tempat parkir di kawasan Uma Lengge (Rumah Adat Bima), listrik dan air. Promosi yang dilakukan pemerintah Kabupaten Bima sudah memberikan dampak yang baik bagi masyarakat. Abstract Bima Regency has a diverse variety of cultures, customs and traditions. Wawopun many do not know about the existence of Uma Lengge. This is due to the lack of the government in choosing a conservation strategy to expand the existence of Uma Lengge. By way of processing and analyzing data using qualitative analysis. Based on the results of interviews and data analysis the results of this study found that the preservation strategy of Uma Lengge (Bima Traditional House) carried out by the Bima District government was: (a) Planning where Uma Lengge (Bima Traditional House) was planned for conservation, (b) Implementation of policy where the implementation of activities to increase the participation of the community in the development of culture and tourism, (c) the increased capacity of resources and infrastructure facilities of the apparatus, increasing the image of tourism inside and outside the country, creating comparative and competitive typical tourism products, (d) Infrastructure in the Tourism Area of Uma Lengge (Bima Traditional House) including: access roads to Uma Lengge (Bima Traditional House), parking lots in the area of Uma Lengge (Bima Traditional House), electricity and water. This study discusses how the habit of praying in congregation in the Community around RT.005 RW. 001 at the Al-Falaah Musholah, Jalaksana Village, Jalaksana District, Kuningan Regency. Which was motivated by the habits of the RT.005 Rw.001 community who did not participate and were a little apprehensive in the habit of praying in congregation at Musholah Al-Falaah, Jalaksana Village. This study aims to invite and familiarize the people of RT.005 Rw.001 to pray in congregation at the Al-Falaah Mosque. The subjects of this study were the Field Supervisory Lecturer (DPL) who acted directly as the head of research, Neni Budiani, M.Pd, students of the Community Service Class (KPM) group in Jalaksana Village, Head of Jalaksana Village Linawarman SH, and local community leaders who were at the same time as the administrator of the Al-Falaah Z. Asikin Musolah. Meanwhile, the object of this research is the habituation of congregational prayer in the community around RT.005 RW. 001 at Musholah Al-Falaah, Jalaksana Village. Data collection methods in this research are interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that public awareness of the importance of congregational prayer has increased. Although at first the habituation of praying in congregation seemed compelling, over time it really became a habit. Several other activities as a form of development of congregational prayer habituation are the creation of good Musholah management, such as the prayer schedule, prayer and iqomah schedules, mosque cleaning officers, information and communication services for the community around the mosque. In addition, things that have been done to improve the management power of the musholla include providing or carrying out the slaughtering and distribution of qurban animals, picking up regular donors every month, and serving the receipt and distribution of zakat fitrah, donations and sodaqoh, both for the empowerment of the mosque and for the welfare of the people.   Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas mengenai bagaimana pembiasaan shalat berjamaah pada Masyarakat Sekitar RT.005 RW. 001 di Musholah Al-Falaah Desa Jalaksana Kecamatan Jalaksana Kabupaten Kuningan. Yang dilatarbelakangi oleh kebiasaan masyarakat RT.005 Rw.001 yang kurang berpartisipasi dan sedikit memprihatinkan dalam pembiasaan shalat berjamaah di Musholah Al-Falaah Desa Jalaksana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengajak dan membiasakan masyarakat RT.005 Rw.001 untuk shalat berjamaah di Musholah Al-Falaah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL) yang bertindak langsung sebagai ketua penelitian, Neni Budiani, M.Pd, Mahasiswa/i kelompok Kuliah Pengabdian Masyarakat (KPM) di Desa Jalaksana, Kepala Desa Jalaksana Linawarman SH, dan tokoh masyarakat sekitar yang sekaligus sebagai pengurus Musolah Al-Falaah Z. Asikin. Sedangkan yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah pembiasaan shalat berjamaah pada Masyarakat Sekitar RT.005 RW. 001 di Musholah Al-Falaah Desa Jalaksana. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya shalat bejamaah telah meningkat. Walaupun pada awalnya pembiasaan shalat berjamaah ini terkesan memaksa, namun seiring waktu hal ini benar-benar menjadi pembiasaan. Beberapa kegiatan lainnya sebagai bentuk pengembangan dari pembiasaan shalat berjamaah ini adalah terciptanya manajemen Musholah yang baik sepertinya adanya jadwal imam shalat, jadwal adzan dan iqomah, adanya petugas kebersihan musholah, adanya layanan informasi dan komunikasi bagi masyarakat sekitar musholah. Selain itu hal yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan daya kelola musholah antara lain adalah dengan menyediakan atau melaksanakan pemotongan dan pembagian hewan qurban, menjemput donatur tetap setiap bulan, serta melayani penerimaan dan penyaluran zakat fitrah, infak dan sodaqoh, baik untuk pemberdayaan musholah maupun untuk kesejahteraan umat.

The crisis of moral education is one of the causes of the decline of today's people. A solution is needed in the form of the implementation of the moral education methods in the Islamic schools in developing civilization and restoring the glory of the people. This study aims to determine the moral education methods in the Islamic schools and its relevance based on the perspective of Ibnu Abi al-Dunya in the book of Makārimul Akhlāq. The study used a qualitative research method with library research approach. Data analysis techniques used content analysis, descriptive, and inductive. The results showed that the methods of moral education from the perspective of Ibnu Abi al-Dunya included: qudwah, targīb and tasywīq methods, tarhīb, at-ta'awwud, naṣīḥah, and ḥiwār. The findings should be a concern for the educational process in the Islamic schools so that it can be implemented optimally and contribute in presenting reference materials to moral education methods that may be used in the Islamic schools.

<p>This paper aims to disseminate the results of the study and get feedback about the "Social construction on Multiculturalism". Five years ago, Ahimsa Putra (2011) stated that Indonesia adopted pluralism without multiculturalism. Until now the issue of multiculturalism has become something that must be kept alive in an attempt to minimize the incidence of national disintegration. Winter (2015) tried to rethink multiculturalism by taking a lesson from Canada, where the people experienced setbacks in implementing the work program of multiculturalism. While Pakulski (2014) considered the implementation of multiculturalism policy program in Australia as a blur, Scuzzarello (2015), optimistically invited to care about multiculturalism and re power sharing on different communities. Gozdecka et al. (2014), in recent years after multiculturalism was declared, stated that it was a failure both in Europe and in Anglophone West. This study was conducted in Blitar, using a qualitative approach to data collection methods and also interviews with ten informants. The result showed that the community was concerned with the existence of  multiculturalism; they considered themselves as ‘brother’. In addition, they described that: (a) asserting one's cultural identity, studying and assessing the cultural heritage of a person is important; (b) respecting and having a desire to understand and learn about (and from) other cultures is useful; (c) being always delighted with the presence of different cultures in the community, and considering it as a positive thing to be respected and maintained is crucial. The harmony was found in everyday lives, especially in the Religious and National holidays, for example Eid Al-Fitr, Vesak, Christmas, and other religious holidays. Also, it could be seen during the Commemoration of National Holiday such as the Independence Day and the Youth Pledge Day.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Keywords: </strong><em>social construction, pluralism, multiculturalism, Indonesia</em>.<strong><em></em></strong></p>
