Competition in the business field is rapid and tight, particularly in the hospitality industry. A company needs the efforts to do continuous improvement toward the potential of human resources, process, and the environment to bring about the best quality of product or service. The effective and efficient way to improve those capabilities is by implementing Total Quality Management (TQM). TQM contributes the benefit such as increasing the competitiveness of the company. TQM concept denotes the concept of continuous improvement that applies to every level of the operation. W Bali – Seminyak, specifically housekeeping department has objective to offer the unique and special moments, inventing the creative staff, and recultivating the hospitality in Bali which committed to implementing TQM optimally. The purpose of the study was to investigate the implementation of Total Quality Management in the housekeeping department of W Bali-Seminyak as well as the obstacles to it. Methods of analysis used in this study were descriptive qualitative and descriptive statistical analysis. The result of this study indicated TQM had been implemented in the housekeeping department, W Bali- Seminyak.

A company is built of course with a clear goal, namely to get as much profit as possible, but this is not necessarily achieved easily, there are many things that companies need to pay attention to in order to achieve these goals. One of the aspects that can affect company revenue is customer satisfaction with the products produced, where the quality of the products produced needs to be considered because this is directly proportional to customer satisfaction. To achieve customer satisfaction, many things can be done by the company, one of which is the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) as done by PT. X, where the application of TQM aims to increase competitiveness which is done by continuous improvement so that it This can affect employee performance which is also directly proportional to product quality and company earnings. This study was conducted to prove whether the implementation of TQM by PT X affects employee performance or not. The approach used in this study uses linear regression analysis, where the data used is primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to several respondents. The results showed that variable X had an effect on variable Y with a correlation coefficient of 0.598 and the decision was made that the application of TQM had an effect on employee performance.

This researcher is motivated by analyzing the application of Total Quality Management well in a in industrial company in maintaining the quality of the products produced at PT. Sabina Tirta Utama, Through the application of TQM it is expected that the company can provide satisfaction to customers with the result produced. The formulation of the problem in this study is divided two into: (1) Analyzing the application of TQM  in maintaining the quality of the products produced at PT. Sabina Tirta Utama. (2) Whether the quality produced is in accordance with standard SNI. This study ams to find out how the application of TQM at PT. Sabina Tirta Utama and to find out the quality the products produced at PT. Sabina Tirta Utama.Intense competition will require companies to provide quality product to consumers. But the company’s concern is not limited to the quality of the product produced, but also on aspeets of the process, human resources (HR) and the environment. PT. Sabina Tirta Utama is a company that produces bottled mineral water in Samarinda and faces competition in a business that is growing increasingly. One of the methods carried out by PT. Sabina Tirta Utamain order to remain competitive by implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) . through an obsession toward quality, teamwork, continus system improvement, education and training, unity of purpose, and employee involvement. TQM is a system to achive the goals of an organization, one of which is maintaining product quality.Based on the result of interviews and observations, implementation of TQM in maintaining the quality of bottled mineral water products at PT. Sabina Still has reject products every month and teamwork is still careless in packing. Then As the result quality of bottled mineral waterproduced by PT. Sabina Tirta Utama has met the standard.

Described the system of total quality management based on the needs of the patient. The presented method models outputs and its use in obstetric institution for integrated assessment activities and ensure continuous improvement and improve the quality of care. The calculation of the performance of the obstetric hospital and dynamic analysis of their effectiveness.

Management plays key parts in running operations of a business chain. Management combined with human resources will determine the success of a company. Along the way, in the currently tight business competition, consumers demand improved product quality and affordable price at the same time. One of the many ways company can choose to establish this condition is by applying Total Quality Management. This research is purposed to examine whether or not there are differences in quality and cost efficiency before and after the application of quality management and how the quality management carried out. The results show that there are differences in the quality produced before and after the implementation of quality management. After the implementation, there is a decrease in the reject products and the production cost is lower. This concludes that the application of total quality management is beneficial for the company due to well manage communication and supervision among managers and operating staffs.

In increasing the quality of human resources, corporate can implement total quality management (TQM), by which an employee should do a job better, more effective and more efficient in producing the products with high quality and competitive price. The research aims to identify the implementation process of TQM, and its influence toward the quality of human resources. The result showed the variables of TQM (that is, employees role, employer role, relations of employer and employees, organizational aspects, and environ employees, organization aspects, and environmental aspects) are simultaneously have a significant influence toward the quality of human resources in PR. Resulting from the development of management theory in the past few years, knowledge management has emerged, which is identifying information of value and how to use it well, as well as understanding cognitive assets of an organization and how to exploit them. Knowledge management is important and necessary for the survival of an organization and its superiority. It can be integrated into the philosophy of total quality management to play a role in the development of the basis of performance of modern organizations. The total quality management philosophy seeks to achieve customer satisfaction through the commitment of the leadership of an organization and its workers by a process of continuous improvement of the quality of performance in various aspects of an organization. This chapter aims to identify the integration between knowledge management and total quality management, when applied to public Jordanian universities as a sample for the study. The chapter found the presence of integrity and a strong correlation between knowledge management and total quality management.

TQM should be applied to every Islamic education unit in order to encourage the quality of excellent service to stakeholders. Because, in today's sharp world of global competition, many people talk about "quality" especially related to jobs that produce products or services.  A result is made because there are those who need it, and those needs develop along with the quality demands of the users. Recognizing this task, SMPN 1 Dlanggu, which has achieved many achievements in various fields both academically and non-academically, continues to improve services for students by completing various learning facilities, qualified human resources (teachers and employees), and coordinating/collaborating with related institutions. In its implementation, TQM has an influence. Among them, student achievement is increasing. Not only in academics, but also non-academics, the enthusiasm of the community to send their children to SMPN 1 Dlanggu is increasing. There is a good relationship / cooperation between all residents of Dlanggu Middle School 1, both internally and externally to jointly improve school quality

The writing of this article aims to determine the effect of implementing TQM on its human resources. The discussion in this article refers to and is based on the opinions of existing expert experts. Total Quality Management (TQM) is one approach that can be done to improve the quality of resources, both human resources, natural resources and other resources. The application of the TQM approach greatly influences the theoretical abilities of employees, technical, conceptual, moral, and technical skills of human resources themselves. From some research results it can be said that the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) is very influential on improving the quality of human resources.

Improving the quality of the madrasah in the direction of improvement is a necessity amid tight competition among educational institutions in producing output quality. In this context, the imple- mentation of total quality management (TQM) is one of the alternatives as a form in an attempt to increase the quality of the madrasah. There are at least three important steps in the implementation of TQM at the school, namely: 1) the environment of human resources and madrasah, 2) the environment surrounding communities, and 3) the state of the natural environment or atmosphere madrasah. This paper identifies the importance of quality of all tangible and intangible components of supply in the hospitality industry and analyses the meaning, development possibilities and the maintenance of the quality as the key strategy for a successful dealing. The quality management approach is suggested starting from the identification of consumer expectations as the basis for forming supply. Focusing the activities on consumer, by constant monitoring and measuring the extent of satisfaction of each component of supply and by implementing the concept of total quality management (TQM) it is possible to achieve not only a good marketing position, but also the improvement of loyalty and satisfaction of all employed.
