Bindu River Ecotourism is a tourist attraction that has natural potential as a place of recreation in the Denpasar City area. Apart from the potential offered by Bindu River Ecotourism, there are still problems that exist in Bindu River Ecotourism including river water which has a lot of sediment, the lack of public awareness to care about the surrounding environment, and the lack of exposure by the public makes only the surrounding community aware of it. If zoning is not carried out in its development, the natural potential of the Bindu River Ecotourism area that has been arranged can be reduced, for this reason, zoning is needed in its development to determine areas in the Bindu River Ecotourism area that are in accordance with the land use and development potential. Based on the delineation and the existing potential, the Bindu River Ecotourism area is divided into a conservation zone and a recreation zone. For the conservation zone, it can be developed into several more zones in the upstream part, it can be developed into a zone for the development of the function of protecting water resources, a zone for the development of the function of protecting flora and fauna as well as limited recreational functions. While the recreation zone can also be developed into several more zones. The upstream recreation zone can be developed into a recreation function development zone and the downstream recreation zone can be developed into an educational function development zone

The terms ‘planning permission’ and ‘land use’ are of no anomalous amongst policy makers in the field of land administration and town planning. However, due to different policy jurisdictions, contradicting land uses are bound to arise and may affect land revenue. For the purpose of preliminary study, two surveys were conducted targeting two groups: 500 respondents amongst the public and 468 amongst policy makers in Selangor. Two different set of questionnaires in the form of Google form were distributed within the course of two months via e-mail and ‘WhatsApp’ mobile application. The study is to test the level of awareness amongst the public, and to test the level of readiness of policy makers as executors. It is later found that an average of 65% of all respondents namely policy makers and the public are unaware of the policies in relations to land use. Alas, it is recommended that an in-depth study to be conducted to increase public awareness on top of equipping policy makers with sufficient knowledge in maximizing the use of Temporary Planning Permission in matters of land administration and town planning, thus improving land revenue collections.

Community activities during the pandemic due to the stay at home policy resulted in an increase in the remaining results of activities. As a result, untreated household wastewater will have a negative impact on the surrounding waters and can become a source of disease for the community. The main purpose of this service is to educate and provide skills to the community to treat household wastewater in Jongso Hamlet, Wotan Village. The main material used for wastewater treatment is alum. This is because alum is a coagulant that can bind impurities in water. This service activity is carried out by socializing through online audio-visual media, namely Youtube, while the training is carried out directly at the stage of processing household liquid waste to the Dukuh Jongso community, and activity evaluation indicators are based on participant responses to socialization and training. The results of the implementation showed that the participants were enthusiastic in the socialization and training. This activity is also effective in educating the public, especially about public awareness of the surrounding environment. It is hoped that the community will continue to be committed to improving their knowledge and skills in protecting the surrounding environment. The community care movement for the surrounding environment is expected to continue to be applied independently and disseminated to other communities.

Abstract Water resources are one of the most important features of the environment to meet human needs. In the current research, morphological, quantitative and qualitative hydrological, and land use factors as well as the combined factor, which is the combination of effective variables of the aforementioned factors, have been used to estimate River Water Withdrawal (RWW) for agricultural uses. Lavasanat and Qazvin are selected as study areas, located in the Namak-lake basin in Iran, with Bsk and Csa climate categories, respectively. Estimation of RWW is performed using single and Wavelet-hybrid (W-hybrid) data-driven methods, including Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), Wavelet-ANN (WANNs), Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS), Wavelet-ANFIS (WANFIS), Gene Expression Programming (GEP), and Wavelet-GEP (WGEP). Due to the evaluation criteria, the performance of the WGEP model is the best among others for estimating RWW variables in both study areas. Considering the W-hybrid models with data de-noising for estimating RWW in Lavasanat and Qazvin study areas, the obtained values of RMSE for WGEP11 to WGEP15 and WGEP21 to WGEP25 equal 67.268, 54.659, 80.871, 50.796, 15.676 and 105.532, 96.615, 105.018, 160.961, 44.332, respectively. The results indicate that WGEP and ANN are the best and poorest models in both study areas without regarding climate conditions effects. Also, a combined factor which includes River Width (RW), minimum flow rate (QMin), average flow rate (QMean), Electrical Conductivity (EC), and Cultivated Area (CA) variables, is introduced as the best factor to estimate RWW variables compared to the other factors in both Bsk and Csa climate categories. On the other hand, qualitative hydrological and land use factors were the weakest ones to estimate RWW variables in Bsk and Csa climate categories, respectively. Therefore, the current study explores that the mathematical relations for estimating RWW have a significant effect on water resources management and planning by policymakers in the future.

Education is a very important thing that should be engaged by every individual, because it is related to the progress and development of a country. In this era of globalization, technology is growing very rapidly that has an impact in education. Schools should be able to adapt to the community and the surrounding environment. TK-SD-SMP Permata Bunda / Sekolah Permata Bunda is a public school operating under the Yayasan Permata Bunda which until now has no public relations role. Thus, it takes the role of public relations in designing more current programs to help schools in raising awareness of certain communities. The purpose of this non-thesis paper is to raise public awareness by using the nine steps of public relations strategy. The Campaign Mari Bersatu Permata Bunda is to let the public to know and understand that the school wants to invite students to not distinguish against one another, nor discriminate, and be united for the students to become better people in the future, and have good relationship with all alumni of Permata Bunda School. It is expected that this non-thesis paper can be adopted by various parties in running external communication strategies. Keywords: Public Awareness, External Communication Program, Mari Bersatu Permata Bunda Campaign, Public Relations in Educational Institutions

This study describes the superiority value of a poetry anthology in providing public awareness of the environment during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sources of data in this study were four poems from the poetry anthology "Covid-19, Radang dan Ladang Kehidupan". The four poems have the theme of public awareness of the environment during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data was collected using a qualitative method and analyzed data with the stages of identifying, classifying, interpreting, discussing, and concluding the data. The theory used is the theory of ecocriticism. The results show that the values in the poetry anthology have their advantages in conveying messages to the public regarding environmental awareness. The interpretation of the values in the poem implies that the Covid-19 pandemic is a consequence for people who cannot properly care for the environment. On the other hand, Covid-19 has also become a momentum to make people aware so that they can be wiser when living side by side with nature and the surrounding environment.

Medicamento. Destinação. ABSTRACTObjective: The study aimed to map, quantify and verify the allocation of accrued and unused medications, and contribute to a discussion of the problems created by improper disposal of these medications and the impacts to the environment in the Itajubá city state/MG. Materials and Methods: The research used a cross quantitative sectional study and was conducted in the period May to August 2014.  A total of 30 pharmacies from Itajubá participated. Interviews were conducted with the technical managers of the establishments surveyed, individually, seeking to identify the form of handling and disposal of medications. Similarly, sought to highlight how employees behave towards the ecological importance of proper disposal and how they see the importance to educate the public. Results and Discussion: The consumption of drugs has been increasing significantly in recent decades due to the advertising stimulus and self-medication. With this, more and more medications are produced and discarded improperly, putting the soil, water resources and especially human health at risk. Through the results obtained can be seen that few individuals possess the awareness of proper disposal of medications. Conclusion: The lack of cooperation from the local government to instruct the community can be one of the reasons where there are still many uninformed people. Although pharmacies are implementing a program allocation, few understand or know the proper disposal of waste medicines. Keywords: Health. Medicine. Destination

Here the authors present the variation that exists in income inequality across the states, and variation in public awareness or concern about income inequality as measured by public opinion polls. Though politicians may decide to tackle income inequality even in the absence of public concern about inequality, the authors argue that government responses are more likely when and where there is a growing awareness of, and concern about, inequality, which is confirmed in the analyses in this book. To examine this question in subsequent chapters, a novel measure of public awareness of rising state inequality is developed. Using these estimates, this chapter shows that the growth in the public concern about inequality responds in part to objective increases in inequality, but also that state political conditions, particularly mass partisanship, shape perceptions of inequality.
