This scientific writing merely aims to study further the meaning of mental revolution existing in Indonesia as one of such either program or what later is called national movement in order for the nation itself to generate the nation’s next generation possessing the great and real character of Pancasila. To say more, the study of mental revolution also has an objective or goal for the youth to be able to compete and face actively the change of the global world characteristically based on Pancasila perspective. This study takes the critical view of the young generation who shows almost little or no respect to the application of the value of Pancasila in their daily. In other words, the jubilee tends to ignore the moral value of behavior containing Pancasila. The study then applies the qualitative methode through the study of literature which is then processed using descriptive analysis. This qualitative study furthermore derives the analysis of mental revolution from the perspective of Pancasila education: background, process, and goal of mental revolution itself. To conclude as the last point, it is obtained that the meaning of Pancasika education exceeds the meaning of mental revolution itself, which means thay mental revolution is merely one of such many aspects learnt from the education of Pancasila. Key Words: Mental Revolution, Morality, Pancasila Education

The emergence of world liberal Muslim thinkers today such as Fazlur Rahman (Pakistan) has become a discourse among observers of Islamic science. Fazlur Rahman is one of the neo-modernist intellectual figures. In terms of religion, he had experienced deep intellectual anxiety. According to him, Muslims have closed the doors of ijtihad, so what happened was extraordinary intellectual stagnation. In the end, Islam became a set of frozen doctrines and it is certainly difficult to appear in giving answers to the problems of the ummah amid the wave of modernity. For this reason, he takes different steps in expressing and formulating the concepts of sunnah and hadith, which is a response and form of criticism of the views of Muslims so far. One of the concepts offered by Fazlur Rahman is related to the hadith and sunnah. He considers that the hadith and sunnah need to be distinguished by a number of reasons stated. According to him the hadith is only a text that is raw or actually comes from the Prophet. Whereas the sunnah is the actualization or interpretation of the hadith text and must be adjusted to the historical setting when it comes to understanding a hadith. This shows that what is written in the hadith is not all said to be sunnah. However, not all sunnah are recorded in the hadith. Therefore, when hadith has been corrupted, since then, the sunnah has not developed. He is attached to the books scheduled. This research uses descriptive-analysis method which contains an analysis of the concept of fazlur rahman about the Sunnah hadith. This research produced a critical view of Fazlur Rahman about the concepts of hadith and sunnah.

The article is an effort to analyze the image of the modern television hero. Who is he? A hero or a villain? The analysis of modern protagonists is given through ethical and film theories. The problem of clarity of moral boundaries is very important in the light of the trend, which popularizes villains as normal people in modern storytelling, moral boundaries are blurring because of attraction of such heroes. According to Chapman scholars, the functions of modern "bad boy" as an architype are: a) bad boys have the strength to give us freedom at the personal and societal levels; b) a bad boy with a critical view of society can emancipate us on both personal and societal levels; c) bad boy's criticism can lead him to become isolated or withdrawn on a personal level or become a leader of resistance and rebellion on a societal level; d) the comedic bad boy parallels the evils of society and can shed a critical light on what is happening, which in turn can express the need for resistance as well as encourage the individual to retreat from social functions and live in an isolated manner. The complexity of people implies the bad boy limitless in determination because the bad boy appears in many shapes. Many modern heroes in movies and tv-shows are morally ambivalent, they combine features of Hero and Trickster archetypes and become bad boys and girls who question the very essence of our world order. Today there are so many characters like this in mass-culture (tv-series, movies and cartoons) because we live in time of the global world crisis and our culture reflects this, our heroes demonstrate us our problems and try to find a solution. And sometimes the classic understanding of morality can't help us and we are trying to solve the problems through immoral actions. Villains are attractive through their rebellion. Today we can't find clarity of moral boundaries in tv-shows. But it's very important. The influence of series and movies on the young generation is enormous. Cinematography in all forms (cinema and television) is very powerful ethical instrument. And it is not just the mirror of human morality but it has a teaching function too.
