<p class="E-JOURNALTitle">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh karakteristik gender dan motivasi belajar, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan, terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VI SD Negeri di Kabupaten Pekalongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis <em>ex-post facto</em>. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri di Kabupaten Pekalongan sebanyak 12.056. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 393 siswa ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik <em>area sampling</em>. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi dengan variabel <em>dummy</em>, regresi sederhana, dan regresi berganda. Analisis dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Penelitian menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut. (1) Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan (p &gt; 0,05) karakteristik gender terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan (p &lt; 0,05) motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan kontribusi sebesar 44,6%. (3) Secara bersama-sama terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan (p&lt; 0,05) antara karakteristik gender dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan kontribusi sebesar 44,8%.</p><p class="E-JOURNALAbstrakKeywords"><strong>Kata kunci</strong>: karakteristik gender, motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar matematika</p><p class="E-JOURNALTitleEnglish"> </p><p class="E-JOURNALTitleEnglish"><strong>THE EFFECTS OF GENDER CHARACTERISTICS AND LEARNING MOTIVATION ON MATHEMATICS LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL</strong></p><p class="E-JOURNALTitleEnglish"><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p class="E-JOURNALAbstractBodyEnglish">This study aims to investigate the effects of gender characteristics and learning motivation separately and simultaneously on mathematics learning achievement of Elementary School Sixth Grade Students in Pekalongan District. This study used quantitative approach with the ex-post facto types. The population of this study was grade six students of public elementary schools in Pekalongan numbered 12,056. While the sample of 393 students was determined using the technique of sampling area. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using regression with dummy variables, simple regression, and multiple regression. The analyses were carried out at significance level of 5%. Research shows the following results. (1) There is no significant effect (p &gt; 0.05) of gender characteristics on students mathematics learning achievement. (2) There is a significant effect (p &lt; 0.05) of learning motivation on students mathematics learning achievement with a contribution of 44.6%. (3) Simultaneously, there is a significant effect (p &lt; 0.05) of gender characteristics and learning motivation on students mathematics learning achievement with a contribution of 44.8%.</p><strong>Keywords</strong>: gender characteristics, learning motivation, mathematics learning achievement

The orientation of education nowadays should be in line with the fulfillment of 21st century demand which encourage learners to perform the originality of human resources quality. This research aims to know whether there is effect connection mathematics ability toward student’s mathematics learning achievement and to know the contribution of connection mathematics ability toward student’s mathematics learning achievement at the elementary school. Respondent in this research were 35 students at Watu Weri state elementary school. Proportionate stratified random sampling technique was applied in collecting sample. The research design was ex-post facto. Data were collected through test and documentation. Data were analyzed by linear regression. The research result shows that there was significant effect mathematics connection ability toward student’s mathematics learning achievement. The contribution of mathematics connection ability toward students mathematics learning achievement was 21,9% . This result indicates that high or law student’s mathematics learning achievement significantly affected by their mathematics connection ability.

This study aims to determine: (1) a description of the students' interest in learning mathematics at SMPN 22 Sinjai, (2) a description of the motivation to learn mathematics of students at SMPN 22 Sinjai, (3) a description of the mathematics learning achievement of students of SMPN 22 Sinjai.The type of research used is quantitative with the ex post facto method. The sample in this study is the entire population, namely 60 students. The results showed that the students' interest in learning mathematics at SMPN 22 Sinjai was in the medium category. Students' motivation to learn mathematics is in the medium category. Students' mathematics learning achievement is in the medium category. There is a positive relationship between interest in learning and mathematics learning achievement of students at SMPN 22 Sinjai.. There is a positive relationship between learning motivation and student mathematics achievement. Learning interest and learning motivation simultaneously or collectively have a positive relationship to variable Y or learning achievement. That is, the higher the interest in learning and student motivation to learn together, the student achievement will increase, and vice versa.

<em>The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning motivation on mathematics learning achievement of eighth grade students of SMP N 1 Kuala Behe acedemic year of 2018/2019 Landak Regency. This type of research was quantitative with ex post facto approach. The population of all eighth grade students at SMP N 1 Kuala Behe. The number of sample in this study was 64 students who were selected using saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used simple linear regressionwith prerequisite test namely normality of Kolmogorov-Smirnov method, heteroscedasticity of Glejser method, linearity using test for linearity, multicolonity using Variance Inflation Factor (VIF), and autocorrelation of Durbin-Watson method. The result shows that there is an effect of learning motivation on mathematics learning achievement of eighth grade students of SMP N 1 Kuala Behe academic year 2018/2019 Landak Regency. The result of R square = 0,915 x 100% = 19,5% which indicates that the mathematics learning achievement of eighth grade students of SMP N 1 Kuala Behe can be explained by learning motivation of 19,5%.</em>

The study aims to analyze the descriprition of metacognitive awareness toward learning result of mathematics directly and indirectly through learning motivation of grade XI IPA student of public senior high school in Pareparecity. The study is an ex-post facto which casuality. The populations of the study were 520 grade XI IPA students of SMAN inParepare of academic years 2013/2014 with as many as 221 samples. Technique used in selecting the samples was proporsional random sampling. The instrument used for the study were (1) scale of metacognitive awareness, (2) scale of intrapersonal intelligence, (3) scale of learning motivation, (4) scale of attitude on mathematics and (5) test of mathematics learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics analysis and SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) analysis. The results of the study indicate that (1) most of grade XI IPA students at SMAN in Parepare has metacognitive awareness with high category, learning motivation is in extremely high category, the learning result is in low category, (2) metacognitive awarenees directly give positif influence toward learning result of Mathematics and indirectly gives negative influence toward cognitive learning result of Mathematics through motivation learning.

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the use of Kahoot and the variation of questions on learning achievement with motivation as a moderator. The populations were the tenth-grade students of social sciences at SMA Negeri 1 Sumberejo in the 2019/2020 academic year, with a sample of 81 students determined using a Cochran formula. The study adopted a descriptive verification method with ex-post facto and survey approaches. The collected data were analysed using a linear regression test with path analysis. The results indicate that there is an influence of the use of Kahoot media, the variation of questions, and learning motivation on the economic learning achievement among the tenth-grade students of social sciences at SMA Negeri 1 Sumberejo in the academic year of 2019/2020.

The study aimed to describe (1) correlation between learning motivation with learning achievement of automotive vocational; (2) correlation between healthy live attitude with learning achievement of automotive vocational; and (3) correlation between learning motivation and healthy live attitudewith learning achievement of automotive vocational. This study was ex-post facto research. Data collecting methods were questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzing methods used descriptive analysis, first and second hypothesis testing used partial correlation and third hypothesis testing used double regression. This study shows that there was a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation with learning achievement of automotive vocational; (2) there was a positive and significant correlation between healthy live attitude with learning achievement of automotive vocational; and (3) there was a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation and healthy live attitude with learning achievement of automotive vocational.

This study aims to study the influence of learning environment, learning motivation and learning independence of the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA SMAN 9 Pangkep. This type of research is ex-post facto research. The sample in this study was class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 with a total of 69 students. The results showed that the partial way is positive and significant influence of learning environment on the learning outcomes about 14%, positive and significant influence learning motivation towards the mathematics learning outcomes about 34% and learning independence had a positive effect and significant to the learning outcomes about 32%. Meanwhile, learning environment, learning motivation and learning independence had positive and significant impacts together on the mathematics learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA of SMAN 9 Pangkep with a coefficient of determination R2 = 0.50 that supports environmental learning, motivation learning and independent learning supports 50% of the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA at SMAN 9 Pangkep.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan belajar, motivasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Pangkep. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 dengan jumlah total 69 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial lingkungan belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 14%, motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 34% dan kemandirian belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 32%. Sedangkan secara simultan lingkungan belajar, motivasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Pangkep dengan koefisien determinasi R2 = 0,50 yang berarti lingkungan belajar, motivasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar memberi pengaruh sebesar 50% terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Pangkep.

This research is an Ex-post Facto research with a quantitative approach and a comparative causal research design. This study aims to determine whether there is a parenting effect toward students mathematics learning achievement on grade VII students of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa. The population used in this study were all students on grade VII of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa, there are 349 students. The sample in this study was 64 students. Sampling using a random sampling technique. Data collection used the questionnaire and documentation method. Before data analysis, first do testing of the analysis requirements includes the normality and homogeneity tests. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is Analysis  Variant (ANOVA) with one way type (One Way Anova). The results showed that there was a parenting effect toward students mathematics learning achievement on grade VII students of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa. This is indicated by the value of Fcount (31.375)>Ftable (3.32) and the Sig value is 0.000 <0.05 which means that there are significant differences in mean of all parenting groups.

The objective of this research was to analyze the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes, the influence of learning discipline on learning outcomes, and the influence of motivation and learning discipline on learning outcomes during online learning. This research was a quantitative research with ex post facto method. The population of this research amounted to 136 students. The sampling technique used was probability sampling using a simple random sampling technique with the outcomes of 58 students. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire to collect data on student answers and documentation in order to obtain data on learning outcomes. The data analysis techniques used was multiple linear regression test. The outcomes of this research indicated that there was an influence between learning motivation on learning outcomes of 62.7%, learning discipline on learning outcomes of 37.3%, and simultaneously learning motivation and learning discipline on mathematics learning outcomes of 65.6%. The conclusion of this study shows that there is an influence between learning motivation and learning outcomes, learning discipline and learning outcomes as well as learning motivation and learning discipline on mathematics learning outcomes in fourth grade students.
