RESUMO Este texto aborda uma das maiores tragédias ambientais da história do Brasil, o rompimento da barragem da Samarco em Mariana/MG, sob a ótica dos deslocamentos ambientais, tendo elementos conceituais e técnicos para abordar o problema. Procura-se analisar os conceitos polêmicos dos termos utilizados que designam pessoas atingidas por desastres ambientais, a falta de terminologia adequada para os deslocados ambientais, bem como analisar quais são os instrumentos que garantem os direitos básicos dessa população deslocada. Para isso, sob olhar epistemológico hermenêutico-dialético, utiliza-se o método do estudo de caso com a técnica da pesquisa de campo realizada com pessoas atingidas pelo rompimento da barragem, tendo com linha condutora um roteiro com questões abertas. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Desastre ambiental; Deslocados ambientais; Barragem de Fundão; Mariana/MG; Democracia deliberativa. ABSTRACTThis text addresses one of the greatest environmental tragedies in Brazilian history, the rupture of the Samarco dam in Mariana / MG, from the point of view of environmental dislocations, with conceptual and technical elements to address the problem. It seeks to analyze the controversial concepts of terms used to describe people affected by environmental disasters, the lack of adequate terminology for environmental displaced persons, and to analyze which are the instruments that guarantee the basic rights of this displaced population. For this, under the hermeneutic-dialectic epistemological approach, the case study method is used with the field research technique performed with people affected by the rupture of the dam, with a line with a script with open questions. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan sistem dakwah Pondok Pesantren At-Tawazun ditinjau melalui sistem terbuka mulai dari tahap input, conversion, output, feedback, hingga environment dalam upaya mengatasi problematika santri yang dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan zaman. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan spesifikasi penelitian field research (penelitian lapangan). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan pondok pesantren At-Tawazun dirasakan cukup besar manfaatnya oleh orang tua maupun masyarakat. Lembaga dakwah dan pendidikan ini telah ikut berkontribusi dalam menanggulangi masalah sosial dan kenakalan remaja yang semakin rumit, sehingga mampu memberikan lulusan santri yang brakhlak, berbudi luhur dan mampu mengamalkan ilmunya di masyarakat. Lebih dari itu, kehadiran pondok pesantren At-Tawazun diharapkan dapat mengatasi akulturasi budaya yang menyimpang di era sekarang ini. Sehingga semangat generasi muda kita dapat disalurkan terhadak hal-hal positif, untuk kemajuan Agama dan Negara. This paper aims to describe the da’wah system of At-Tawazun Islamic Boarding School through an open system starting from the input, conversion, output, feedback, and environment stages in an effort to overcome the problems of santri that are influenced by the times. This research uses case study method with qualitative approach and field research specification (field research). The results of this study indicate that the existence of the At-Tawazun Islamic Boarding Scool was felt to be of considerable benefit by parent and community. This da’wah and education institution has contributed to tackling social problems and juvenile delinquency that are increasingly complicated, so as to be able to provide graduates who are morally, virtous and able to practice their knowledge in the community, moreover, the presence of the At-Tawazun Islamic Boarding School is expected to overcome the deviant cultural acculturation in the present era. So that the spirit of our young generation can be channeled suddenly to positive things, for the advancement of Religion and the state.

This paper represents a contribution to the consideration of the characteristics of the case study research method in sociological researches. In the first part of paper, some specifics of case study method are described, in the second part we represented ways of use of this method in field research. finally, third part of this paper indicates certain ?sub methods? within case study method, such as ?building blocks? and ?process tracing?, which are, at the same time, conditions for developing typological theories. Those ?sub methods? indicate evolution of case study method in social sciences during last few decades, as well as importance of existence and use of such ?elastic? method in all, especially field researches where researcher is facing with a series of cognitive concerns.

ElResumo: Inserida no campo da Educação Matemática, esta investigação tem como objetivo central analisar os atos de mediação docente no ensino de situações multiplicativas no 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental, tendo como suporte referencial a Teoria dos Campos Conceituais. O constructo teórico prevê a estruturação dos conceitos de multiplicação e divisão em um único campo conceitual – o das Estruturas Multiplicativas. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, ancorada no método do Estudo de Caso recaindo sobre os atos de mediação de uma docente do 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola da rede pública do município de São Luís, Maranhão. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada nos meses de outubro e novembro de 2015. Os dados empíricos foram coletados por observação de três aulas previamente planejadas pela docente observada. Os achados dessa incursão investigativa apontam a carência do trabalho voltado para os aspectos conceituais das operações de multiplicação e divisão, bem como revelam a proeminência da simbolização em detrimento da conceitualização. As conclusões que se derivam dessa incursão investigativa entrelaçam aspectos inerentes à formação e à prática docente, na medida em que englobam o amplo repertório de eskemas concernentes à interação, comunicação, linguagem e afetividade, além do conjunto de competências técnicas e conhecimentos propagados nos espaços de formação que também modelam os atos de mediação docente no decurso da história individual e profissional dos professores.Palavras-chave: Situações multiplicativas. Teoria dos Campos Conceituais.TEACHING SITUATIONS MULTIPLICATIVE: findings from the mediation acts of teachers Abstract: Inserted in the field of mathematics education, this research had as main objective to analyze the acts of teacher mediation in teaching multiplicative situations in the 5th year of elementary school, supported by the Theory of Conceptual Fields. The theoretical construct provides the structure of multiplication and division concepts into a single conceptual field - that of multiplicative structures. The research is qualitative in nature, anchored in the Case Study method falling on the acts of mediation of a teacher of the 5th year of elementary school in a public school in São Luís, Maranhão. The field research was conducted in the months of October and November 2015. The data were collected by observation of three classes previously planned by the teacher observed. The findings of this investigative foray point to the lack of focused work for the conceptual aspects of the multiplication and division operations , as well as reveal the prominence of symbolization at the expense of conceptualisation. The conclusions derived from this investigative foray intertwine aspects of training and teaching practice, in that it encompasses the broad repertoire  concerning the interaction, communication, language and affection, beyond the range of technical skills and propagate knowledge in the areas of training also model the acts of teaching mediation during personal and professional history of teachers.Keywords: Situations multiplicative. Theory of Conceptual Fields.LA ENSEÑANZA DE SITUACIONES MULTIPLICATIVAS: resultados a partir de los actos de mediación docente Resumen: Insertado en el campo de la educación matemática, esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal analizar los actos de mediación docente en la enseñanza de las situaciones multiplicativas en el 5º año de la escuela primaria, utilizando como soporte de referencia la teoría de los campos conceptuales. La construcción teórica proporciona la estructura de los conceptos de multiplicación y división en un solo campo conceptual – el de las estructuras multiplicativas. La investigación es de naturaleza cualitativa, anclada en el método de estudio de caso que recae sobre los actos de la mediación de una docente de 5º año de primaria en una escuela pública en São Luís, Maranhão. La investigación de campo fue realizada en los meses de octubre y noviembre de 2015. Los datos empíricos fueron recogidos mediante la observación de tres clases previamente programadas por la profesora observada. Las conclusiones de este punto de incursión señalan la carencia de trabajo dirigido a los aspectos conceptuales de las operaciones matemáticas de multiplicación y división, así como revelan la prominencia de la simbolización en detrimento de la conceptualización. Las conclusiones derivadas de esa investigación entrelazan aspectos de la formación y la enseñanza práctica, ya que abarca el amplio repertorio de eskemas relativos a la interacción, comunicación, lenguaje y afectividad, además del conjunto de competencias técnicas y conocimientos propagados en los espacios de formación que también modelan los actos de mediación docente en el decurso de la historia personal y profesional de los profesores.Palabras clave: Situaciones multiplicativas. This research aims to know the muslim investor behavior in a stock transaction in capital market. This research used the qualitative approach, using the case study method by basing on the theory of behavioral finance.Data collection using a purposive sampling technique to determine informants amounted to five muslim investors who at least has a two year stock transaction to be interviewed in depth, observed and evaluated the data by performing a triangulation.The results of this research have findings that muslim investor behavior in a stock transaction is divided into two point of view that is, investors who consider religion in their investment decisions and the invetor did not consider religion in their investment decisions. Investors who consider religion in their investment decisions preferring stock composition of the incoming Sharia index list and nature of investments tend to be long term. Investors who do not consider religion in choosing his investment decision stock blends well in the Shariahcompliantindex or not. The nature of investment investors who did not consider the shortterm nature of the religion.

The main aim of this study is to investigate the effects of sociomateriality in the strategy for artisanal production of organic cachaça—a well-known Brazilian beverage—by means of the case study method. In addition to enabling reconstruction of the trajectory of the studied organisation and its insertion in the institutional context, this method was suitable for investigating sociomaterial practices, enabling identification of the effects of agency (material, biological and human) on the strategy for artisanal production of organic cachaça. The field research conducted was grounded on the postulates of the realist-constructivist ontology and the theory of strategy as practice, in combination with the sociomateriality approach. It was observed that the strategy for artisanal production of cachaça involves a sociomaterial entanglement and reciprocal agencies that encompass equipment, natural resources, knowledge, experience, learning, traditional knowledge, living beings and chemical elements. This study helps redefine the manner of thinking about and conducting studies on strategy as sociomaterial practices, especially by focusing on the interactivity between the social dimension of this practice and the material and technological framework that supports it.

The article presents the results of field research of displaced persons from Kosovo and Metohija conducted in the period 2001-2012 in collective centers and private accommodation in Serbia archived in the Digital Archive of the Balkan Institute of SANU and their possible application for further research of oral history. On the example of the analysis of excerpts from conversations held in a collective center in Kraljevo in 2012 with a focus on exodus and later life in the collective center, from the point of view of memory culture and trauma studies, creation of an online archive of oral history of displaced persons from Kosovo and Metohija is proposed.

This study tries to explore the interrelated dynamics among cosmetic surgery, choice and empowerment. While poverty, poor health accessibility and gender inequality are common problems in Bangladesh, a growing number of cosmetic clinics are being established and a number of women are increasingly taking up cosmetic surgeries. This study seeks to explore why women choose cosmetic surgeries for beautification, how they experience it and whether cosmetic surgery leads women to be empowered or not. Using qualitative research methods, this study used in-depth semi structured interview, observation and case study method to collect the data from the different cosmetic surgery patients, coming from both urban and rural areas of Bangladesh. The data was further analyzed by coding informants' responses into themes based on the research objectives and the theory, named ‘empowerment'. The study shows that even if the women choose surgery, it does not necessarily enhance their empowerment. That is the surgery that brings changes in physical appearance and might make them attractive, but it contributes little socially in terms of enabling them to make own decision in the contest of family and in community. Rather these women act as prescribed by patriarchal norms and gendered rules. Analyzing the data from theoretical point of view, this study found that the women, irrespective of regional boundaries, can rarely fulfill the condition of empowerment in relation to choice and IAP. The study concludes with some questions and queries that need more research to be answered.

<p>This study aims to find out models implementation of the technical interoperability applied and developed on the Digital Library Applications of the Library and Archive Analysis System version 1.0 (LARAS v 1.0) by the Center for Scientific Documentation and Information-Indonesian Institute of Sciences (PDII-LIPI). The other goal of this study is to determine why PDII-LIPI tries to develop LARAS v 1.0 and has changed the previous application of WINISIS. This study was done by using a case study method with qualitative approach. Data was collected by documents analyses and in-depth interviews. This result of the study shows that LARAS v 1.0 was created by developers at PDII-LIPI to avoid the obsolescence of information and communication technology (ICT ), in this case is digital library application. In fact, the conflicts between the developers and the librarians in developing LARAS v 1.0 still exist. Models implementation of technical interoperability applied to LARAS are a combination of several levels of Level of Information System Interoperability (LISI) model. Nevertheless, in practice, LARAS v 1.0 is still not perfect, especially from the point of view of system development of metadata, encoding, communication protocol, databases, and indexing.</p>

Doctoral education has been subject to research and analysis by researchers in the last fifty years. Nevertheless, doctoral supervision still a private issue among supervisor and PhD student; if the relationship between them goes wrong, a shadow undermines the doctoral research, hindering student support of others, which may result in attrition and dropout. Breaking this situation, transforming the “private place” in a “public matter”, requires a profound reflection about the doctoral education aim, institutions goals, institution policy, but also a supervisor and PhD students’ perspectives (careers, goals, development, financial support). It is necessary to know, where we want to go, to outline a path to achieve the goals. During the last three years, doctoral supervision has been studied at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL). A qualitative case study method was used. This was the first study (a pilot study) that covered all the nine UNL schools, is intended to identify the supervision practices, but also captures a glimpse of doctoral students’ life in the academy, their difficulties, their thoughts and feelings related to doctoral education. The documentary analysis, concerning the institution rules related to doctoral education, was the study first step (already published). The second was the implementation of a survey with closed and open questions to allowed students to express their opinion regarding doctoral education, especially doctoral supervision. During three months, a survey, centred in doctoral supervision, applied online in all schools. This paper aims to describe what was found and what was unexpected in the context of a young university.

Tulisan ini membahas tentang strategi dakwah di Jembrana-Bali melalui sarana ‘urf yaitu pada tradisi male. Tulisan berfokus menelusuri dampak dari strategi ‘urf atau kearifan lokal terhadap proses interaksi dan integrasi yang mengarah pada praktik damai pada masyarakat Hindu dan Muslim di Jembrana-Bali. Sumber data diperoleh adalah melalui observasi dan wawancara tak terstruktur selama bulan Maret sampai Juni 2019. Tulisan ini berupa penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasil dari tulisan ini memperlihatkan bahwa dakwah Islam melalui ‘urf yang mewujud dalam tradisi male dapat menumbuh-kembangkan pemahaman kebhinekaan, menumbuhkan ketertarikan umat Hindu kepada Islam, serta dapat membentuk karakter masyarakat Hindu dan Muslim di Jembrana menjadi humanis, toleran, dan inklusif, sehingga mengarah pada proses asosiasi, integrasi, komplementasi dan sublimasi. Kata Kunci: ‘Urf, Dakwah, Male, Asosiasi, Integrasi, Komplementasi, Sublimasi.   Abtract This paper discusses the da'wah strategy in Jembrana-Bali through the means of f urf, namely in the male tradition. Writing focuses on exploring the impact of the ‘urf strategy or local wisdom on the process of interaction and integration which leads to peaceful practices of Hindu and Muslim communities in Jembrana-Bali. The source of the data obtained is through unstructured observations and interviews from March through June 2019. This paper is in the form of field research using a case study method. The results of this paper show that Islamic preaching through the 'urf' which manifests in the male tradition can foster diversity understanding, foster Hindu interest in Islam, and can shape the character of Hindu and Muslim communities in Jembrana to be humanist, tolerant and inclusive, thus leading in the process of association, integration, complementation and sublimation.
