People purchase and consume poultry meat to fulfill their animal protein needs. In early 2020, COVID-19 spread globally as well as in Indonesia that changes the social and economic conditions, which further affect people’s behavior in purchasing chicken meat. There are two types of this meat—broiler and free-range chicken—with different characteristics (attributes) that affect consumer preference. Consumers can choose chicken meat according to their needs and desires by considering its attributes. This study aims to determine chicken meat consumers' characteristics before and during the COVID-19 pandemic and determine the differences in consumer preferences for broilers and free-range chickens. The research was conducted in Sleman Regency from April to May 2020. The primary data collected through an electronic form from 100 respondents chosen by random sampling. The descriptive analysis examines chicken meat characteristics, and the Fishbein Multi-attribute determines consumer preference for chicken meat. The results showed that consumers continued to buy chicken meat during the COVID-19 pandemic but changed the amount of purchase and the purchase location. Two main attributes affecting consumer preferences, both for broilers and free-range chickens, are the aroma and freshness. The third attribute affecting consumer preference for broilers is the meat color, while in free-range chicken, it's the halal status.

Meat needs (Broilers) have increased and meat consumption is influenced by consumer preferences caused by shifting consumption patterns, and is supported by low prices compared to beef.  The shift is influenced by prices, substitute goods, tastes, season, age, education, number of dependents, income, and increasing population so that preferences, and attributes that consumers consider in buying broiler meat in traditional markets need to be studied.  The study used a purposive sampling method, with the criteria of the Adji Dilayas Sanggam Market,  Senja Market, and the Milono Market in Berau Regency, having broiler meat traders.  Determination of respondents using proportional sampling techniques, each market 12 respondents (36 respondents), meet the smallest number of traders considered to meet the minimum sample criteria.  Sources of data obtained from primary data and secondary data.  The results showed that broiler meat that has a golden color, clean skin, medium carcass size, physically not bruised, fresh meat, and especially the chest.  Chi Square analysis showed that all attributes were significantly different (p <0.05), meaning that there were differences in preferences for the attributes of broiler meat in traditional markets.  Fishbein Multiatribute Analysis proves that meat freshness, flesh color, carcass physicality, skin cleanliness, carcass size, and carcass portion are the most considered, and or not considered attributes.

The objective of this research is to examine the effects of brand factors and country of origin factors on self-concept and its implications on consumer preference. Furthermore, the research also studied the moderating effect of fashion consciousness on consumer preference. The research is centred on the Malaysian Millennials in the clothing industry. The data for this research is obtained through primary data survey that was conducted through physical questionnaire distribution and online questionnaires sent via Google Forms. A total number of 230 responses were collected and analysed using factor analysis and partial least squares - structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) techniques. The findings indicated that brands factors had greater impact on self-concept in comparison to country of origin. The brand association and brand personality dimensions were found to have significant roles in brand factors. Self-concept is found to have a positive influence on consumer preference. However, fashion consciousness did not moderate the relationship between self-concept and consumer preference. The findings of this study will be useful to marketers to devise a more strategic marketing mix and develop a suitable market entry strategy based on the contributing factor that would yield a better return on investment (ROI).

The article analyzes the changed consumer preferences in the conditions of COVID-2019 coronavirus disease, and also defines the prospects and directions for further development of digital banking services in the e-commerce market. Proposals are formulated to increase the level of user satisfaction with digital banking services in the conditions of self-isolation in the e-commerce market. The social consequences in the banking sector should be reflected, accompanying the digital transformation, in the shifting points of consumer preference and banking services aimed at providing services. Ignoring these changes will inevitably lead to lost financial benefits for Russian banks in the e-commerce market, as well as the emergence of new non-banking players. The practical value lies in offering new niches for using digital banking services within the framework of changing customer preferences.

Demands of animal foods from livestock (meat, eggs and milk) over time tends to increase in line with population growth, income, nutrition awareness, and improvement in education levels. But even though it has increased, the level of meat consumption of the Indonesian people is still categorized as very low. This study aims to determine the social and economic characteristics of households and analyze the factors that influence consumption of household beef in Pandan District. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis, namely by observing directly the social and economic conditions of the household, then using a questionnaire to obtain data on the socio-economic conditions of the household. The method of multiple linear regression analysis is used to analyze the factors that influence the consumption pattern of the household beef. The results of the study show that consumers of beef in Pandan Subdistrict have different socio-economic characteristics, both in terms of education, age, number of family members and income. The socio-economic characteristics of beef consumers, namely education, age, number of family members and income significantly influence the amount of consumption simultaneously. Age, number of family members and income have a partial effect on the amount of beef consumption, while the education variable does not have a partial effect on the amount of beef consumption.
