Abstract: Textile Industry is a very old and second most growing industry in India . It is also the second largest producer after China. Textile manufacturing process produces humongous amount of chemical toxic and utilizes excess amount of water which can serve a rural village for a year , Textile industry has contributed to climate change and air and water pollution ,today the world is adopting sustainable methods in textile sector to reduce their emission followed by Textile waste , India produces 1 million tonnes of textile waste per years where the household also amounts to good amount of it . Many of brands have to burn their product because of less sell and many because of over production which not only results in lost but also contributes to carbon footprints. Countries have started to utilize alternative textiles like pineapple leaves instead of cotton to reduce soil erosion , followed by man made fabric , use of plastic for making clothes. We need to introduce PPP model to collect waste and adjoin skill development programme and entrepreneurship for better sustainable economical growth and proper management. Keywords: Textile Industry, manufacturing, textile waste, carbon footprints, alternative textile, cotton, water pollution

: Water pollution due to waste effluents of the textile industry is seriously causing various health problems in humans. Water pollution with pathogenic bacteria, especially Escherichia coli (E. coli) and other microbes is due to the mixing of fecal material with drinking water, industrial and domestic sewage, pasture and agricultural runoff. Among the chemical pollutants, organic dyes due to toxic nature, are one of the major contaminants of industrial wastewater. Adequate sanitation services and drinking quality water would eliminate 200 million cases of diarrhea, which results in 2.1 million less deaths caused by diarrheal disease due to E. coli each year. Nanotechnology is an excellent platform as compared to conventional treatment methods of water treatment and remediation from microorganisms and organic dyes. In the current study, toxicity and carcinogenicity of the organic dyes have been studied as well as the remediation/inactivation of dyes and microorganism has been discussed. Remediation by biological, physical and chemical methods has been reviewed critically. A physical process like adsorption is cost-effective, but can’t degrade dyes. Biological methods were considered to be ecofriendly and cost-effective. Microbiological degradation of dyes is cost-effective, eco-friendly and alternative to the chemical reduction. Besides, certain enzymes especially horseradish peroxidase are used as versatile catalysts in a number of industrial processes. Moreover, this document has been prepared by gathering recent research works related to the dyes and microbial pollution elimination from water sources by using heterogeneous photocatalysts, metal nanoparticles catalysts, metal oxides and enzymes.

Manufacturing sector of Pakistan accounts for 19.1 percent of GDP and is the second largest sector of the economy. It grew by 8.4 percent during 2007 as against 10 percent last year. In the manufacturing sector, large scale manufacturing (LSM), plays a vital role and accounts for approximately 70 percent of overall manufacturing [Economic Survey of Pakistan (2006-07)]. During 2006-07 relatively slower pace of expansion exhibits signs of moderation on accounts of higher capacity utilisation, difficulties in the textile sector and lower than expected scale of operations of oil refineries. A number of other factors have also contributed to the low pace of expansion in manufacturing including zero percent growth in raw cotton production which is a critical input for the textile industry, vegetable ghee and cooking oil which comprise about 5.5 percent of the LSM sector, showed uninspiring performance due to unparalleled rise in international palm and soybean oil prices. The performance of the automobile sector has been far less impressive this year as compared to previous five years due to a fall in domestic demand for cars on account of increasing auto financing rates. The higher imports of used cars in the beginning of fiscal year 2006-07 also affected the performance of domestic auto mobile sector.

Abstract – Textile industry is one of the waste contamination industries that can pollute the environment, so that the rapid development of textile industry must be followed by the improvement of its sewage treatment system. Along with the global issue of Green Manufacturing, the textile industry waste treatment can promote environmentally friendly waste treatment process and derived from renewable substances. Therefore, it is necessary to study the utilization of rice husk silica in the processing of textile waste. The results of the study provide information that textile wastes come from all processes in the textile industry, from pretreatment to finishing. Rice husk ash silica is a material utilized adsorption of textile waste or mixture of PolyVinylChloride (PVC) membrane material to filter textile waste. The characteristics of rice husk silica are influenced by the extraction method. The initial washing process using acid and then combustion at 600 ° C - 750 ° C produces a relatively high purity of silica with a maintained silica amorphous level. Keywords: Rice Husk Silica, Textile Waste, Textile Waste Processing, Silica Characteristic

At Alamán’s initiative a law of 1830 established the Banco de Avío, a government-funded development bank for the spurring of industrialization, especially in the textile sector, with which his name has forever been associated. His views of industrialization as a development strategy as opposed to a renewed reliance upon silver mining are discussed, as well as the short- and long-term effects of loans made to textile entrepreneurs and the cronyism employed by Alamán both in organizing the Banco itself and in allotting its capital as loans to industrialists. The state of the textile industry in Mexico before and after the Banco is described.
