Study habit (attending lectures, reading books, visiting library, and facing examination) plays an important role in determining academic achievement. The objectives of this study were to analyze the correlation between study habits and academic achievement and analyze the indicators that were most significantly correlated with students’ academic achievement. The study was conducted at the Biology Department of FMIPA UNNES in February - March 2018. The sample of respondents consisted of students of the Biology Department of academic years 2014, 2015 and 2016. A total of 308 students were taken as the sample using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data was taken using a questionnaire instrument and analyzed using the path analysis method assisted by SmartPLS. The results of the data analysis showed that the indicators of study habit have a significant correlation to the students’ academic achievement of Biology Department. The correlation coefficient values of study habit indicators from high to low were reading books, attending lectures, facing exams, and visiting the library. This study showed that the habit of reading books had the most significant correlation. It is suggested to conduct the experimental research which is related to the effectiveness of reading habit.

The objectives of the research are to know the responses about promotion, distribution, customer satisfaction, and customer trust, also to analyze the influence of promotion and distribution to customer satisfaction and its implication on customer trust. The population in this study is PT. Tiga Serangkai International in the reater Bandung Region. The research method used in this research is descriptive and verification research method with a sample size of 90 respondents, data collection by interview using a questionnaire, observation and literature. Sampling technique using the "Disproportionate Starfied Random Sampling" method. Data analysis method used is path analysis. The results showed that promotion and distribution simultaneously influence customer satisfaction, partially promotion and distribution have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Promotion gives an influence on customer satisfaction by 16%, while distribution gives an effect of 75.9%. The contribution of promotion and distribution variables to customer satisfaction is 73.7%, the remaining 26.3% is the contribution of the variables not included in the study

This study aims to: 1) to test and analyze the effect of training on motivation, 2) the effect of HR development on motivation, 3) to test and analyze the effect of training on employee performance 4) to test and analyze the effect of HR development on employee performance 5) to test and analyze the effect of motivation on employee performance 6) to test and analyze the effect of training on employee performance through motivation, 7) to test and analyze the effect of HR development on employee performance through motivation. This research was conducted at PT. Rekasis Gigatama with a sample of 81 respondents. The sampling technique uses a random sampling technique. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results showed that: 1) there was an effect of training on motivation 2) there was an effect on HR development on motivation 3) there was an effect on training on employee performance 4) there was an influence on HR development on employee performance 5) there was an influence on motivation on employee performance 6) no influence training on employee performance through motivation, and 7) there is an influence of HR development on employee performance at PT. Rekasis Gigatama through motivation.

The present investigation is a comparative study in which a total of 564 tribal and non-tribal adolescent students of Jammu And Kashmir State were selected by stratified random sampling technique. The tribal and non-tribal students were compared for the relationships between academic achievement and scientific temper. Data collected by The Scientific temper scale (2008) by Showkat and Nadeem showed a significant relationship between academic achievement and scientific temper in non-tribal adolescents only. Further gender wise comparisons revealed that male and female students of non-tribal group had significant relationship between the two variables as compared to tribal group.

This study aims to find out 1) Influence of Student Perception on Financial Compensation and Work Environment On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students 2) Influence of Student Perception On Financial Compensation On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students and 3) Influence of Student Perception About Work Environment On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students. The population in this study was students of Economic Education Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang and the number of selected samples as many as 119 students. This type of research is descriptive associative research. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling by using proportional stratified random sampling. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, analysis requirement test, multiple regression, F test, determinant coefesien and t test. The results showed that 1) Students' Perception of Financial Compensation and Work Environment  had a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession. 2) Student Perception of Financial Compensation has a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession. 3) Student Perception of The Work Environment has a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession.

Current competitive environment induced by 4.0 industrial revolution has forced companies to focus on managing service to customer by provide added value to customers, so that it will increase competitiveness. This study aims to find out and analyze impact of service quality and service innovations on competitive advantage. Analysis method is descriptive statistical and Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS software. The sampling Technique was purposive sampling with combination cluster proportional stratified random sampling, the instrument to collect the data was questionnaire with manager, supervisor or employee of retailing. The results indicate that the service quality and service innovations impact on competitive advantage.

This study aims to see whether there is a relationship between promotion and decision making learners in following the tutoring in BBC Limbanang Kecamatan Suliki Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. This type of research is correlational. The population in this study is the citizens learn BBC learning guidance. Sampling technique in this research is stratified random sampling from entire population. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, while the data collection tool questionnaire. Technique of data analysis by using formula of percentage and product moment. From the results of the study showed that: promotion done by the guidance of learning in BBC less good so that decision to follow guidance study in BBC considered less good also by learners.

<em>This study aims to determine the Effect of Leadership and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance of PT. Kao Indonesia. The population in this study amounted to 300 employees. By using the Slovin formula a sample of 75 employees was obtained. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. This study uses a quantitative approach, data for this study were obtained through a questionnaire that was filled out by respondents who had been determined. The data analysis method used is a simple and multiple linear regression analysis method. The research results partially show that leadership has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance. While simultaneously leadership variables and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Kao Indonesia.</em>

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh komunikasi persuasif personal sales terhadap perubahan sikap konsumen dalam proses keputusan pembelian Al-Quran Miracle the Reference E-Pen. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini model Instrumental Theory of Persuasion yang memperhitungkan faktor-faktor komunikator dan pesan, intervening process, dan perubahan sikap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei eksplanatori. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan responden sejumlah 86 orang, lalu kemudian dilakukan proportionate random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur, setelah sebelumnya dilakukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa unsur-unsur dalam komunikasi persuasif yakni komunikator dan pesan terbukti memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap perubahan sikap konsumen yang terdiri dari perubahan kognisi, afeksi, dan konasi dalam proses keputusan pembelian. Pengaruh pesan terbukti memimiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap perubahan sikap tersebut dibandingkan komunikator. Faktor-faktor intervening yakni perhatian, pemahaman, dan penerimaan turut memberi andil dalam memberi pengaruh tersebut. AbstractThis research is focusing on how the effect of personal salespersons' persuasive communication on consumers' behaviour change in the decision process of buying Al-Quran Miracle the Reference E-Pen. The theory used in this research is the Instrumental Theory of Persuasion model that reckons the communicator and message factors, intervening process, and behavior change. The method used in this research is explanatory survey. Sampling technique uses 86 respondents, succeeded by proportionate random sampling. The data analysis technique used is path analysis following the validity test and reability test. The output of the research shows that elements in persuasive communication namely communicator and message are proven to have significant effect on the consumers‟ behavior, which consists the cognition, affection, and conation change in the decision process of buying. The message effect is proven to be greater than the communicator effect. The intervening factors namely attention, comprehension, and acceptance also contribute in giving the effect.

This study aims to knowing the influence of performance appraisal system based on e-performance on employee achievement through job satisfaction as an intervening variable on Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Banyuwangi. This study is causal research, it means problem characteristics research in a form cause-effect between two variables or more. Population is employees of Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatatn Sipil Kabupaten Banyuwangi with the amount 80 employees. The sampling method for this study was doing with purposive sampling technique and it has been gotten 37 respondents as samples. Data analysis method is Path Analysis. The hypothesis of research are performance appraisal based on e-performance has significantly affected job achievement, performance appraisal based on e-performance has significantly affected job satisfaction, and job satisfaction has significantly affected job achievement. The result of study was performance appraisal based on e-performance has positive and significantly affected employees achevement. It means performance appraisal based on e-performance can increase employee achievement. Performance appraisal based on e-performance has positive and significantly affected job satisfaction on employees. It means performance appraisal based on e-performance can increase job satisfaction on employees. Job satisfaction has positive and significantly affected employees achievement. It means the employees successfully in doing the tasks which have been given by company can increase job satisfaction which got. <p>The major trust of this study was to examine the academic achievement of pahari students in<br />relation to their mental health. The present study was carried-out on sample of 200 pahari<br />students selected from 6 secondary schools of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir through<br />stratified random sampling technique. Mental health scale developed by Dr. Mercy Abraham and Dr. K.C. Baby Prasanna was used to collect required information, while the total marks obtained by the students in the previous class were used as an achievement criterion. Two statistical techniques like Pearson’s product moment method and ‘t’ test were used to analyze the data. The study shows that there is a positive correlation between academic achievement and mental health of students. The result of the study further revealed significant differences between boys and girls as well as rural and urban students in regard to their mental health. On the basis of these findings some suggestions both for practice and further studies have been put forward by the author.</p>
