The article shows that at the present time in physics the conditions are ripe for a decisive revision of the prevailing ideas about physical reality. To solve this problem, metaphysical principles must be considered. Their manifestations in modern physics are shown in the presence of three paradigms. It has been demonstrated that this is most fully implemented within the framework of the relational paradigm, which has long been in the shadows. The results already obtained within its framework are shown and it is noted that the development of this direction most closely corresponds to materialist philosophy.

Philosophy of Physics: A Very Short Introduction explores the core topics of philosophy of physics through three key themes: the nature of space and time; the origin of irreversibility and probability in the physics of large systems; how we can make sense of quantum mechanics. Central issues discussed include: the scientific method as it applies in modern physics; the distinction between absolute and relative motion; the way that distinction changes between Newton’s physics and special relativity; what spacetime is and how it relates to the laws of physics; how fundamental physics can make no distinction between past and future and yet a clear distinction exists in the world we see around us; why it is so difficult to understand quantum mechanics, and why doing so might push us to change our fundamental physics, to rethink the nature of science, or even to accept the existence of parallel universes.

This book addresses Nobel Laureate Frank Wilczek’s challenge that “ascending from the ant’s-eye view to the God’s-eye view of physical reality is the most profound challenge for fundamental physics in the next 100 years”, by contesting the dynamical universe paradigm in its entirety. Most of the book is devoted to showing that given the adynamical block universe approach called Relational Blockworld, the current impasse of theoretical physics and philosophy/foundations of physics can be resolved, including the mystery of time as experienced and how that experience relates to the physical universe. This chapter sets the scene for the rest of the work, including defining its audience and sketching how each can read the work successfully. It describes the division of each chapter into three parts: a main thread, a thread devoted to the philosophy of physics, and a thread devoted to foundational physics.

The author analyzes a number of key problems of modern physics and cosmology, offers original interpretations and solutions, and also discusses the prospects for the development of science in the context of attempts to create a "theory of everything". The monograph pays special attention to the physical theories of the multiverse, the new principles of scientific knowledge resulting from these theories, and the connection between consciousness and concrete physical reality. It is intended both for those who are just discovering the world of philosophy of science in the most fundamental field — physics, and for specialists who are professionally engaged in the topic and are interested in the most relevant research.

Humean Supervenience (HS) is a metaphysical model of the world according to which all truths hold in virtue of nothing but the total spatiotemporal distribution of perfectly natural, intrinsic properties. David Lewis and others have worked out many aspects of HS in great detail. A larger motivational question, however, remains unanswered: As Lewis admits, there is strong evidence from fundamental physics that HS is false. What then is the purpose of defending HS? In this paper, we argue that the philosophical merit of HS is largely independent of whether it correctly represents the world’s fundamental structure. In particular, we show that insofar as HS is an apt model of the world’s higher-level structure, it thereby provides a powerful argument for reductive physicalism and explains otherwise opaque inferential relations. Recent criticism of HS on the grounds that it misrepresents fundamental physical reality is, therefore, beside the point.

The concept of substantive-relational “paradigm relativity-complementarity” is being developed. «Pre-physical reality» is introduced as monistic Supercategory. It is justified that it is reasonable to consider discrete complex relations and p -adic complex relations in relational physics. It is pointed out that it is important to find a way to control gravity through electromagnetic interaction. The features of quantum theory in the relational paradigm have been considered.

The article generalizes methodological approaches to creating a mechanism for selecting strategic priorities of development of regional spatial and sectoral structure. The author studies the tendencies of choosing priorities of development in accordance with the basic principles of sustainable development, “consensuses” of various types, “inclusive economics”, “stakeholder economics”, “donut economics”, “sharing economics”. The conclusion is that methodological approaches under consideration are a kind of reflection of sustainable development principles. They serve as a transitional stage to noospheric approach that reflects balancing of “interests of a human”, “interests of the nature” and “interests of technology”. The author applies to this conception to suggest a mechanism for selecting strategic priorities of development of regional spatial and sectoral structure. Such a mechanism for selecting strategic priorities of development is supposed to be a “bridge” for the transition to “noonomics” as a new stage of development.

The adolescence is indicative of being a stressful transitional stage of development. If pertinent attention or supervision is not provided at this point, it could give rise to certain behavioral and social maladjustments. This paper attempts to review various studies related to parenting style and its associated effects. A cross sectional survey was carried out among school going young adolescents and their mothers in Dhaka city. An insight into adolescence liking and disliking factors on school and home environment was noted. It was seen that 31.4 percent of the mothers followed the authoritative style of parenting. Among them, the mothers who were more approachable and shared views with children, their children were mostly responsive in sharing their feelings with parents.
