In dark tourism research there is a scarcity of literature that discusses Northern Ireland as a dark tourism destination. This research study was undertaken to investigate the difference in the level of support for dark tourism in Northern Ireland between the generations who lived through the Troubles and those who heard about them. This study employed a qualitative research method based on the completion of focus groups consisting of Protestants and Catholics from different generations. This allowed the authors to gather the views of different Northern Ireland residents' groups. The research found that the views of the younger generation (aged 18-35) and the middle-aged generation (36-55) are similar. These generations believe that the Troubles should be utilised for the purpose of dark tourism as this will benefit Northern Ireland financially and socially. In contrast, the older generation (aged 56-75+) believes that the Troubles are too recent to be exploited for dark tourism development. This is in line with the literature on the topic that was consulted as part of this research.

This article reports the findings from a mixed-methods study on factors that influence women’s decisions about birth, with the view that women’s decision making about birth can affect the use of cesarean surgery. Data was collected from focus groups and structured postpartum interviews and was analyzed using the Consensual Qualitative Research method. The findings relate specifically to the factors reported as influential in making decisions about birth including how the women categorized, prioritized, and/or favored certain types of knowledge about modes of birth. Four major information categories were identified but only stories about birth and/or attending a birth appeared to have a lasting effect on birth choices. These findings have implications for prenatal and perinatal education and nursing practice.

Abstract The method of learning tahsin Al-Quran is a learning process for someone to be able to read the Koran properly and correctly. With the existence of this method of tahsin Al-Quran, generations will always be born who are able to read the Al-Quran with tartil, and its impact will directly support and help the focus of the government in achieving its own educational goals. One method to make the learning of the Al-Quran tahsin run interesting is to use the Naghom maqomat approach (the art of reading the Al-Quran). One of the interesting maqomats is the baby rhythm. From the land of Arabia to all corners of the world, nagham has become a loyal friend to the recitation of the Al-Qur'an, then Muslims can read the Al-Qur'an in the murattal version and the mujawwad version. Even though there are differences of opinion about whether or not nagham is allowed to read the Qur'an, the difference of opinion - which is old - leads to the caution of the Maliki school of thought that the purity of the Al-Qur'an is tainted. The purpose of this research is to determine the development of the tahsin method with the maqamat bayati approach. The method used is a qualitative research method by means of experiments. The summary of this study describes a new tahsin method that is easy, interesting and fun and easy to learn. The conclusion is to produce a new method that can increase people's interest in learning tahsin Al-Quran.

The inclusion of document types helps in creating an awareness of what is required for analysis. The consideration of document analysis strategy and evaluation helps invalidate the appropriate strategy to use for a particular research method. While the importance and functions of document analysis help to appreciate the contributions of documents to research. The epistemological approaches to document analysis strategies play a very vital role in indicating and directing the appropriate strategy to use in a research study bearing in mind its theoretical demands.

Findings showed that self-efficacy has different consequences: pedagogical, learner-related, and psychological. Each consequence has several sub-categories. It is concluded that high self-efficacy affects teachers’ teaching practices, learners’ motivation, and achievement. It also affects teachers’ burn-out status, psychological being, as well as their job satisfaction. The findings can be theoretically and pedagogically important to EFL teachers, teacher-trainers, and administrators of educational settings.

The purpose of this study was to examine the opinions of engineering students from various departments regarding the progress tracking and digital badge features applied in courses in the Learning Management System (LMS). The phenomenological design which is a qualitative research method is used in this study. Online forms with close and open questions were used to collect data. The study was conducted with a total of 226 students, who studied in 5 different departments. The data is subject to content analysis. According to the research results, students stated that the features tested triggered motivation to complete assignments and develop other students. As for the opinion of some students that these features should be held in every course in the LMS. Despite the general view of an LMS equipped with these features (Moodle), their general view of the features, especially the progress tracking feature and digital badges is quite good. What needs to be questioned is the willingness of lecturers and policymakers to apply it consistently in the campus environment.
