The purpose of this study is to describe the process of tutoring, describe the results of learning English, and find out the effect of learning guidance on speaking skills of Paket C learning participants in PKBM (Society Learning Centre) Sukabaru. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through data triangulation. Data is collected using test techniques to obtain data about the results of English speaking skill of learning community before and after being given tutorial through trainings. The results of the study show that learning guidance influences the results of English learning in term of speaking skills. Through the training of English speaking, the participants show improvement in mastering English with indicators of mastering many English vocabularies, and being able to speak fluently. On English language training, the researcher conducts the observations on speaking English demonstration and the participants can apply speaking comprehension

Applying technology in learning English language is indispensable in the period of industry 4.0 and global integration. However, what technological techniques should be applied in teaching and learning process is the most serious concern. Evidence shows that different technological applications may lead to various learning outcomes, detrimental effects, even spoiling learning interest or motivations. Therefore, this paper is aimed not only to explore the multiple dimensions of recoding video clips in group (RVCIG) in learning English speaking skill but also illustrate how this activity (RVCIG) influences on learners’ English speaking  improvement. Apparently, these explorations and illustrations help to consider whether this RVCIG is widely used in teaching English speaking process or not. To do that, a quantitative research method with the tool of semi - structure interview is used to collect various information, mixed feedbacks or motivations from 2 groups of students fully participating in recording three video clips in group within course. Additionally, a questionnaire survey is also sent to 33 English learners for exploring both commendable and detrimental influences of this RVCIG on English speaking development. The findings indicate that RVCIG makes learners have various opposite experiences in language competence, confident expression, and communication, as well as cope with unavoidable challenges of time consuming, technological problems, and group member’ disagreements. Whatever advantages or disadvantages of this RVCIG activity has, learners also express their interest and expectation of recording video clips in group for purposes of English speaking improvement, mutual engagement, collaborative learning and building friendship.

Public speaking has become an integral part of many professions and is at the center of career development opportunities. Therefore, the change in the education system from offline to online has led to new ideas in the implementation of public speaking learning, namely by using Instagram as a learning medium for collecting assignments intended to introduce or sell English language skills which are usually called Edupreneurship. That way, it is hoped that not only carry out learning and collect assignments but also something is obtained. However, learning still prioritizes output. Therefore, in this study, we refer to the personal branding theory. The purpose of this study is to determine how effective the use of Instagram is as a medium to promote English speaking skills, to find out the followers' responses regarding the skills possessed by English students, and also what was gained from promoting English speaking skills. The subjects in this study were students in the 5th semester. The number of respondents was 25 students. This research was conducted using data collection methods through Google forms. The results showed that Instagram provided effects and benefits to students, most of them stated that: (1) Students felt more confident in speaking English, (2) Students felt an improvement in their abilities, (3) Students felt more enthusiastic about positive comments and motivated by negative comments, (4) Students feel that Instagram is the right medium for promoting English speaking skills, (5) Students get input in the form of work.

This research aims to describe the implementation of English Zone (EZo) activities in learning English speaking skills for young learners. Employing qualitative descriptive study, this research included observation of teaching and learning process, and interview that was administered to 10 students from Kampung Sawah, West Hadimulyo. Ten meetings were observed thoroughly. Each observation took place in English language classroom every Sunday at Al-Fatimah Mosque. This research presented the implementation of English Zone (EZo) to young learners and students’ responses to the implementation of EZo. The findings illuminated the powerful ways in which EZo was able to improve students’ speaking skill. The students were having fun in the classroom which made them actively participate IN speaking practice with their friends or teachers. The findings further highlighted that EZo showed a good result in improving students’ confidence during their speaking practice. EZo helped them to speak more and decreased hesitation. This study aims to determine the use of the guide conversation method in teaching speaking skillfor business at Business Administration Class of STISPOL Wira Bhakti Denpasar. This study uses a library research method, which is a research method based on expert opinions about speaking skills with the guide speaking method. So it can be concluded that learning English, especially speaking skills, requires a variety of precise strategies. The goal is to make it easier for students to learn English for business (English for special purposes) especially for telephoning, However, it should be remembered that learning English is not learning knowledge which requires high reasoning power, memorizing formulas, mastering tenses, grammar, and formal English grammar, and so on. However, learning English is nothing more than a skill that is continuously practiced until it is accustomed to it.

The English language is one of the international languages used for communication and learning worldwide. In Vietnam, English is taught as a second language in schools from elementary to advanced levels. In learning a certain foreign language, the autonomy of learners has become a vital subject for the past 30 years. This research surveys the autonomy of non-language-major-students in learning English in Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. The quantitative research method uses descriptive statistics and T-test. A group of 258 students (61 males and 197 females) took part in answering two questionnaires on learners' autonomy in learning English and the roles of lecturers and students in developing learner-autonomy in learning English. The results showed that the students were not familiar with the term learning autonomy. However, students were aware that they played a fundamental role in improving this ability. They also believed that the lecturers determined their English learning process. Thence, we propose solutions for the non-language-majors to improve their autonomy in learning English.

This research aims to actualize the Tana Toraja district government program as an "English Speaking Area". This research also is subject to improve English communication skills for the young learners in Tana Toraja and produce English Language Learning-Based Open Space (ELLBOS) as a prototype of an English language teaching approach for young learners in the tourism area. The research applied the ADDIE research design consists of three cycles: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This research found five issues: (1) participant reported that they are enthusiasm in English lessons; (2) the participants need to learn English; (3) the English-speaking skill is essential for students; (4) students revealed that are unhappy in learning English in the classroom; (5) students experienced peaceful learning atmosphere if learning English outside the classroom. This research recommends the significance of applying the English Language Learning-Based Open Space (ELLBOS) for young learners in the tourism area. It is good if the teacher does English learning outside the classroom with open space to feel free to explore their potency in learning English.

English language is frequently taught in Indonesian vocational college such as in Nursing Department. It is such a challenge for the students and the lecturer as well due to the tight schedule. The students need more exposures in English language, but the English course so far is only taught conventionally in the classroom once in a week for 2 semesters. The students need to fulfill certain competence in English in effective ways, one of the competence is English speaking skill.  Learning speaking needs more effective methods. The methods could be in the form of the media used in teaching learning process. Besides, English speaking skill was so urgent for the students both in academic affair and professionalism. This study, therefore, observes the students’ need of learning media for learning English speaking. This was a qualitative research by conducting a syllabus investigation, interview, and questionnaire to collect the qualitative research data. The quantitative data was also conducted through delivering questionnaires to add the meaning of the qualitative data. This study revealed the kinds of learning media that the students need in learning English speaking skills that would also help them easily get the English courses exposures. The appropriate learning media for learning English speaking was a mobile learning media which has portability and high connectivity. It was a kind digital learning media that can be accessed at anytime and anywhere, installed in their smartphones which consisted of some speaking activities and their supporting activities.

English Foreign Language (EFL) students, most of the time, face difficulties in learning English, especially in mastering speaking skills. One of the most common problems faced in the teaching and learning process for speaking skills is the lack of motivation and students tend to use their first language. As the development of technology, the teacher is required to involve digital teaching, especially related to the use of computers. Employing computer or Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in the teaching and learning process is highly recommended for a fun and exciting learning. In this particular case, englishch-hilfen.de serves as an answer for those seeking such a learning process. A qualitative study was involved to identify how the use of englishch-hilfen.de can improve and give a significant effect on students’ English performance, especially for speaking and vocabulary aspects. The result of this study suggested that the content within englishch-hilfen.de is very beneficial for it provides such meaningful and stimulating activities for English language students.

English speaking skills are very important to communicate in the world. Most of the people communicate with other people by using speaking skills. The difficult skill to master in learning English for Thai students is speaking skills, especially those who are learning English in Indonesia speaking skill seems to be the most difficult one to learn. Whereas, it is the most important skill that leads to effective communication between people. Speaking skill is considered as the most important means of communication. Although students still have problems with their English speaking skills. Thai students who study at the English department academic still get problems in speaking skills and it needs overcoming with their English problems. This paper looks at intensive program students’ perceptions of English-speaking skills and emphasizes the immediate need for improving them at all levels of higher education. For this purpose, 100 students (50 males and 50 females) of the intensive program from colleges of Arts, Business and Community, Saudi Arabia were administered a questionnaire. The data were analyzed quantitatively with SPSS. The findings of the study show that male and female students do not differ in their perceptions about learning to speak English and they are now becoming more aware of the growing importance of learning English. It is also found that lack of environment, interest and motivation are the most important factors that affect students’ speaking skills. In addition, female students’ perception towards English learning is more positive. The analysis also indicates that there is an undisputed agreement among the learners that English language will play an important role in Saudi Arabia. Finally, some implications for teachers to develop students' speaking skills are presented.
