Social media which initially only functioned as a medium to expand friendships and share one's daily activities, is now starting to turn into a platform used by many companies to share information and carry out marketing activities. One of the marketing strategies carried out by the company through social media is to use the services of an endorser to promote its products through the endorser's personal social media account. There are three types of endorsers studied in this study, namely celebrity endorsers, influencer endorsers, and online customer reviewers, each of which has its own advantages. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the difference or comparison of the influence of the credibility of the three types of endorsers above on consumer buying interest in the same product. The products used in this study are skincare products. This research was conducted using purposive sampling method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents for each type of questionnaire based on different types of endorsers so that a total of 300 respondents were obtained. The collected data was then processed using PLS-SEM as a whole and PLS-MGA to test the effect of moderation. The results obtained in this study are that an influencer endorser has the highest moderating effect among other types of endorsers on the relationship between endorser's credibility towards attitude toward the ad and attitude toward the brand. Meanwhile, the differences between these three types of endorsers do not have a moderating effect on the relationship between endorser's credibility, attitude toward the ad, and attitude toward the brand towards purchase intention.

Purpose Few studies exist which delve into the possible factors that prevent ethically minded consumers from translating their ethical perceptions into ethical purchase intention (EPI). Thus, this study aims to explore how consumers assess corporate social responsibility (CSR) based on several influencing factors toward EPI, with CSR skepticism (SKP) as a moderator. Design/methodology/approach This cross-sectional study is conducted through a self-administered questionnaire and uses a positive research approach with a quantitative basis of enquiry. The partial least squares–structural equation modeling- model is used to examine the causal relationship between seven independent variables of CSR assessment (i.e. CSR awareness, knowledge of CSR position of company, cause importance, price consciousness, CSR image of company, credibility of CSR efforts and peer influence) with EPI. In addition, this study also examines the moderating effect of SKP in the relationship. Findings The findings show that CSR assessment factors are important to convert mere purchase criteria into EPI and SKP does play a significant role in weakening the relationship. Originality/value This study examines the moderating effect of CSR skepticism, the exploration of which still remains very limited in current literature.

This study aims to determine the effect of religiosity, awareness of halal food, and attitude towards halal food on purchase intention by millennial generations. This research is quantitative research with survey analysis method. The data used in this study is primary data using a questionnaire as a research instrument. The researchers surveyed 230 Muslim respondents of millennial age at President University. The sampling technique used in this study is judgment sampling method. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) software, namely SmartPLS version 3.2.8. The hypotheses were tested through path coefficient, t-Significance, p-Value, and determination coefficient (R²). Based on the results of this study, it is found that: 1) halal awareness has a significant effect on attitude towards halal food, 2) religiosity, halal awareness and attitude towards halal food each has a significant effect on purchase intention of halal food and finally, 3) halal awareness as mediated by attitude towards halal food has an effect on purchase intention of halal food. Whereas the relationship between religiosity and attitude towards halal food and the relationship between religiosity and purchase intention of halal food as mediated by attitude towards halal food cannot be supported.
