Entrepreneurship is the engine of economics of human society. In most countries, entrepreneurship, and especially start up of new businesses is most essential matter. Intention to run business is the base of entrepreneurial action. People, who have entrepreneurial intention, expect to start businesses in the future. In this study, we evaluated the impact of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention. Women entrepreneurship is very important economic matter. Today, many of developed and developing countries, focus on the importance of women entrepreneurship and the enterprises founded by them (GEM, 2010). In this study, we implemented two modified questionnaire: first; Shapero's entrepreneurial intention questionnaire (Shapero, 1982) and Entrepreneurial self-efficacy questionnaire (DeNoble, et al., 1999). In order to analyze gathered data, we used SPSS11 Software, regression and Coefficient. Result shows that entrepreneurial self-efficacy has positive effect on entrepreneurial intention.

Research on the role of the APIP review of the Ministry/agency Work Plan and Budget document to determine the impact on the efficiency of ministry/agency spending (case study at the Ministry of Religion). The method used in this study uses simple linear regression with dummy. The use of linear regression is used to examine the relationship between independent variables (certain types of expenditure) and dependent variables (total expenditure). Whereas, dummy is used to find out before and after the APIP review is done. Throughout the author's search, this research has never been done. Based on the results of linear regression obtained, the APIP review significantly had a positive effect on official travel expenditure and honorarium but did not significantly affect building spending and equipment.

This paper examines the impact of entrepreneurial education on intention to undertake entrepreneurial activity in the future. The study is based on a sample of 208 engineering students. Specifically, we explore the contingent effect of social norms on the relationship between entrepreneurial education and intention to undertake entrepreneurial activity, as well as the role of social norms on the association between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention. We utilize a comprehensive questionnaire distributed among engineering students. Our findings indicate that entrepreneurial education is positively associated with the intention to undertake entrepreneurial activity, in addition to demonstrating a positive moderation effect role of social norms on the relationship between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention. The study provides empirical support to devise new educational initiatives that can further support students and young entrepreneurs in their current or future entrepreneurial projects

This article presents the argument according to which pandemics have always affected the human society, the current COVID-19 being the latest of the series of health crisis that affects humankind. The objectives of this paper were fourfold. First, it traced the development of global epidemics that have plagued the world, drawing lessons from classics in fiction and non-fiction literature. Second, it investigated the impact of the current pandemic on human lives today. Third, it examined the role of the churches and faith-based groups individuals in response to the needs of the people during the pandemic. Fourth, it laid down further tasks that need to be undertaken during this health crisis. Critical international political economy, deep ecology, eco-centrism and the human rights-based approach guided this research. An Asia-wide ecumenical fellowship of national councils and churches served as the case study. Specifically, it investigated the ways in which the churches responded to the pandemic in relation to migrant workers and food security.

Small enterprises contribute significantly to the economic growth and prosperity in countries (Birch, 1987). The field of entrepreneurship represents an increasingly dynamic productive force in the economy (Gavron et al., 1998). Various entrepreneurship researchers opposed the construct of entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE), defined as an individual's belief in his or her ability to achieve various entrepreneurial tasks (Miao, Qian and Ma, 2017). Many studies have found positive relationships between ESE and entrepreneurial intention. On the contrary, there are some ambiguity on relationship between ESE and entrepreneur's post- start up performance (McGee et al. 2009). One of the affective entrepreneurial dimension is passion. Many researchers have opposed passion as a key element of entrepreneurial effort (Cardon et al., 2009; Chen et al., 2009) because it is able to bring up creativity and the recognition of new information patterns critical to the encounter and exploitation of encouraging opportunities (Baron, 2008; Cardon et al. 2013). However, there is little research focusing on entrepreneurial passion (EP), leading to business performance (Cardon et al. 2013). Thus, this research clarify how entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) effect to business performance, and entrepreneurial passion (EP) may vary the ESE- business performance relationship as a mediator. Keywords: Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy, Entrepreneurial Passion, Business Performance

Under the background of the high youth unemployment rate in the world, how to encourage college students to carry out entrepreneurial activities is the focus of the whole society. But even if government and college provide such a high-quality entrepreneurial platform for college students, the rate of youth entrepreneurship in the world is still relatively low. On the basis of the questionnaire of 385 college students concentrated in several colleges in Hubei Province of China, this paper used independent sample T test, single factor analysis method, multiple comparison test (LSD), correlation analysis, regression analysis and other empirical analysis methods to analyze the impact of entrepreneurial education as well as entrepreneurial policy on college students' entrepreneurial intention, and verified the intermediary role of entrepreneurial self-efficacy. The research conclusions mainly included: (1) Part of the control variables will affect entrepreneurial intention; (2) Entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial policy positively and significantly affect the entrepreneurial intention of college students; (3) Entrepreneurship self-efficacy plays an intermediary role in the influence of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial policy on entrepreneurial intention. According to the conclusion of the research, this paper put forward some suggestions for government, university as well as students, and tried to provide the gamut of support system of entrepreneurship, so as to stimulate the entrepreneurial intention of college graduates and improve the entrepreneurial rate.

The aim of this study is to analyze the entrepreneurial intentions of UiTM Segamat business students and its main factors influencing it. The attitude, subjective norm, entrepreneurial education, and self-efficacy are the variables analyzed in this study. Samples of 171 business students were tested. The result shows there is an intention to become an entrepreneur among students and attitude is the main factor that contributes to it. Subjective norm and self-efficacy have moderate influence but entrepreneurial education does not significantly influence their entrepreneurial intention with the hope that MASMED gives attention and attempts to improve the effectiveness of the entrepreneurship program in university. This in general, encourages students to be courageous to start-up businesses and at the same time respond to our country desires.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to examine the mediating role of entrepreneurial intention (EI) in relation to the influence of the five dimensions of entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) on nascent behaviour.Design/methodology/approachThe study relies on a quantitative approach where primary data were collected from 294 final year undergraduate students at a public university in Zambia. The data were examined by using correlation, logistic regression and mediation analyses.FindingsThe findings indicate that each of the five dimensions of ESE is positively and significantly related with EI. Additionally, each of the ESE dimensions, except the financial aspect, is positively correlated with nascent behaviour. Finally, the results show that the influence of ESE dimensions on nascent behaviour is significantly mediated by intention.Research limitations/implicationsThe study took place in a public university in Zambia; more universities could be involved to improve the generalisability of the study conclusions.Practical implicationsThe study shows that the five ESE dimensions positively influence not only business start-up intention but also nascent behaviour. To motivate graduates’ involvement in business start-up, there is a need to tailor training and practical pedagogical approaches on entrepreneurship that are focussed on developing the five ESE dimensions.Originality/valueThis paper extends an emerging body of knowledge which has not been fully investigated in terms of the mediating role of intention on the relationships between dimensions of ESE and nascent behaviour. The study also makes a valuable contribution to the under-researched context of Zambia and African entrepreneurship.

The research investigates the role of service design and improvisation as decolonising practice. It is based on case study research with a focus group consisting of Namibian artists, designers, artisans and arts organisations who participated in artistic and cultural exchange activities of the Art South-South Trust (ASST), a start-up Namibian not for profit (NFP) organisation. The goal of ASST was to increase visibility of the focus group members, enable global exposure and create an arena for multi-vocality. The paper creates a practical framework for decolonising practices in Namibian arts and design by drawing on reflective practice to analyse the activities of ASST alongside interview data collected from Namibian and Australian partner organisations and participants in the program. Critical thinking is used to evaluate the impact of realised activities and processes both in situ in Namibia and in exchange in Australia. This paper explores practices that can enable decolonising processes in Namibian arts and design spheres

This research was aimed to investigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the green entrepreneurial intention of college students through green entrepreneurial self-efficacy, optimism, ecological values, and social responsibility, as well as the mediating role of green entrepreneurial motivation. This study used structural equation model to test the hypothesis on samples of 410 Chinese colleges’ students. COVID-19 has a strong beneficial effect on green entrepreneurial self-efficacy, optimism, ecological values, and social responsibility, according to the research findings. Optimism and social responsibility also were found to have a significant positive impact on green entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Moreover, green entrepreneurial motivations moderated the relationship between optimism, ecological values, social responsibility, and green entrepreneurial intention in a positive and significant way. Finally, the findings indicate that a significant positive correlation exists between green entrepreneurial self-efficacy and optimism, as well as a significant positive correlation between ecological values and social responsibility.

This study aims to investigate the impact of parental career behaviors on undergraduate student’s career exploration and the mediating role of career self-efficacy. In the literature it is suggested that some social and individual factors facilitate students’ career exploration. Therefore, parental career behaviors and career self-efficacy is considered as predictors of student’s career exploration attitudes within the scope of the study. In this respect, data which are collected from 405 undergraduate students having an education on tourism and hotel management field by the survey method are analyzed by using the structural equation modeling. The results of the study indicate that parental career behaviors which are addressed support; interference and lack of engagement have a significant effect on student’s career exploration behaviors such as intended-systematic exploration, environment exploration and self-exploration. In addition, it has been found that one of the dimensions of parental career behaviors addressed as a lack of engagement has a significant effect on career self-efficacy levels of students. However, research results indicate that student’s career self-efficacy has a significant effect on only the self-exploration dimension. On the other hand, career self-efficacy has a partial mediating role between lack of engagement attitudes of parents and career exploration behaviors of students.
