Environmental protection is one of the most pressing issues of today. Preventing the degradation of ecosystem and the planning of its protection is made from different spheres and at different ways. Tourism, that is, ecotourism as a sustainable type contributes and at the same time stimulates sustainable development through the theoretical bases and practical activity. Ecotourism aims to promote tourism trends and visits of unique natural areas, but limited and sustainable. Revenues from ecotourism are used for appropriate monitoring of space and have a positive effect on the economic stability of local population. In recent time ecotourism has had a broader meaning as it is often associated with similar responsible tourism trends. The authors of the paper have pointed to the theoretical bases, the defining of concept and origins of ecological and sustainable tourism trends, the modern development of ecotourism in the world, as well as the regions and zones in Serbia to which the development of this type of tourism would be significant in terms of sustainable development.

This article discusses the role of women in supporting sustainable tourism development in Bali by promoting Balinese cuisine to the tourism world. To date, studies on the role of Balinese women in the tourism industry have looked mainly at women as ordinary workers or professionals. In fact, Balinese women operate as culinary entrepreneurs who have not only been successful in introducing Balinese cuisine to the world of tourism but have opened up job opportunities for men and women alike. The data presented in this article was collected through observation of four leading Balinese women who run successful local culinary outlets or restaurants offering local dishes, and is complemented by interviews and other published sources relating to their business activities. The four pioneering women surveyed are Men Tempeh of Gilimanuk (West Bali) serving chicken betutu, the suckling pig restaurant manager Ibu Oka in Ubud, the owner of Made’s Warung Ni Made Masih, and the catering company owner Ibu Warti Buleleng, based in Denpasar. This article concludes that these four Balinese culinary heroines or srikandi have successfully managed to preserve and promote Balinese dishes to the world of tourism while contributing to the sustainable development of Balinese tourism by providing opportunities for tourists to experience local cuisine.

In the way of thinking of a modern man we are seeing a paradigm shift, namely, there is a gradual shift in priorities: ecological ones become primary, and economic – ones secondary. Progressive mankind more often pays attention to the preservation of natural resources, to environment purity, thereby trying to find the optimal ratio in solving environmental and economic issues. Analyzing the modern development of the sectors of the world national economy, we observe the prolonged dominance of economic priorities over environmental ones, which, in turn, cannot but negatively affect the state of the flora and fauna of our planet. These circumstances create, strange as it may seem, positive conditions for accelerating the creation of economic mechanisms for environmental protection aimed at reducing the anthropogenic impact of various factors on the environment. The economic efficiency of this activity is expressed through the prevented damage from environmental pollution. Construction is a branch of national economy which is always associated with interference in the environment; therefore, assessing the environmental and economic effectiveness of environmental protection activities, observing environmental protection measures is very important for this industry and society as a whole.

Environmental protection has become a burning issue which plays a more and more important role in the world. The aim of this study is to give a picture of the constitutional regulation of environmental protection which is the highest legal source of a nation. Besides the Hungarian Fundamental Law, the German, Italian and Belgian constitutions were examined in the study. On one hand, we looked into how environment is regulated in the constitutions, as a right (right to environment) or a state task or objective (protect the environment). On the other hand, we analysed how related regulatory subjects appear in the constitutions, such as natural resources, future generations and sustainable development.

The Environment greatly affects the global life in which humans become part of it. Good environment and healthy is a state that is highly desired by everyone. However, it is inevitable that the current global situation is getting worse over time. Globalization activities that occur between one country to another country for the sake of economic progress triggers environmental problems, such as the opening of new lands for economic activity continues to be done so that the green areas in the world is declining. Indonesia, which is one-on-one countries that are the lungs of the world are facing the same thing. Indonesia also had to adapt to be able to engage actively promote economic and perform construction but without damaging the existing environment. Therefore the development of environmentally sound with the principle of sustainable development as set out in the rules should be the cornerstone of national Indonesia in carrying out development in Indonesia.
