Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan side jump sprint dan scissor jump terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan the non-randomized control group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler bolavoli SMP Negeri 3 Abiansemal tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 berjumlah 45 orang, kemudian dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik ordinal pairing, yaitu 15 orang diberikan pelatihan side jump sprint, 15 orang diberikan pelatihan scissor jump, dan 15 orang kelompok kontrol. Daya ledak otot tungkai diukur dengan test vertical jump. Data yang di dapat dianalisis dengan uji F (one way anova) pada taraf signifikansi (α) = 0,05 dengan bantuan komputer program SPSS 16.0. Hasil analisis data dari kelompok perlakuan side jump sprint terjadi peningkatan daya leda kotot tungkai sebesar 0,097, pada kelompok perlakuaan scissor jump sebesar 0,136 dan pada kelompok control sebesar 0,116. Hasil one awy anova variable daya ledak otot tungkai antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol didapat Fhitung 67,628 dan signifikansi 0,000 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pelatihan side jump sprint dan scissor jump terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai. . Berdasarkan hasil uji least significant difference (LSD), kelompok pelatihan side jump sprint lebih baik pengaruhnya sebesar 44,733 dibandingkan pelatihan sciisor jump terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. Disimpulkan bahwa; (1) pelatihan side jump sprint dan scissor jump berpengaruh pada peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. (2) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pelatihan side jump sprint dan scissor jump terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. (3) pelatihan side jump sprint lebih baik dari pada pelatihan scissor jump terhadap peningkatan daya ledakotot tungkai Kata Kunci : side jump sprint , scissor jump, daya ledak otot tungkai. This research aims to know the influence of side jump sprint and scissor jump towards the improvement the explosive power of limp muscle. This research is a quasi experiment with the non-randomized control group pretest post test design. The subjects were students of extracurricular participants of volley ball at SMP Negeri 3 Abiansemal academic year 2016/2017 amounted to 45 people, then divided into 3 groups using ordinal pairing technique, 15 people were given side jump sprint training, 15 people were given scissor jump training, and 15 People control group. Limb muscle explosive power is measured by a vertical jump test. The data can be analyzed by F (one way anova) test at significance level (α) = 0,05 with computer program of SPSS 16.0. The result of data analysis from side sprint treatment group happened increased limb muscle explosive power of 0.097, in scissor jump treatment group 0.136 and control group 0.116. The result of one way anova variable of explosive muscle limb power between treatment group and control group was obtained Fcount 67,628 and significance 0,000 which mean there is difference of influence of training of side jump sprint and scissor jump on explosive power of limb muscle. . Based on the least significant difference (LSD) test results, the side jump sprint training group had a better effect of 44.733 than the scissor jump training on increasing the muscle limb power. It was concluded that; (1) the training of side jump sprints and scissor jumps has an effect on increasing the muscle tone of the leg muscles. (2) there is a difference in the effect of training of side jump sprint and scissor jump on the increase of explosive power of limb muscle. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan 30 second box drill dan 60 second box drill terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi) dengan rancangan the non-randomized pretest posttest control groups design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 orang. Daya ledak otot tungkai diukur dengan vertical jump test dan data dianalisis dengan uji-t independent, uji anava satu jalur dan uji least significant difference (LSD) pada taraf signifikansi (α) 0,05 dengan bantuan SPSS 16,0. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh pelatihan alternate leg bound dan knee tuck jump terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian ini eksperimen dengan rancangan the non-randomized control group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini siswa peserta ektrakurikuler bola voli SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja berjumlah 36 orang, kemudian dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik ordinal pairing, yaitu 12 orang diberikan pelatihan alternate leg bound, 12 orang diberikan pelatihan knee tuck jump, dan 12 orang kelompok kontrol. Daya Ledak diukur dengan tes vertical jump. Data dianalisis dengan uji F (one way anova) pada taraf signifikansi (α) = 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0.Hasil analisis menunjukan adanya perubahan nilai rata-rata pada variable daya ledak. Pada kelompok alternate leg bound terjadi peningkatan, pada kelompok knee tuck jump meningkat dan pada kelompok kontrol tidak terdapat peningkatan daya ledak Hasil uji one way anova variable daya ledak antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol didapat Fhitung sebesar 58,920 dan signifikasi 0,000 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pelatihan alternate leg bound dan knee tuck jump. Berdasarkan hasil uji LSD, maka kelompok pelatihan knee tuck jump lebih baik pengaruhnya dibandingkan pelatihan alternate leg bound terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. This type of research is use quasi-experiment with “the non-randomized control group pretest posttest design. The subject of this research is student participant of volley ball extracurricular SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja as much 36 people, and then divided into 3 groups with ordinal pairing technique that is 12 people given alternate leg bound, 12 people given knee tuck jump training, and 12 people control groups. Explosive power is measured by vertical jump test. Data was analyzed by F test ( one way anova) with significance level (α)= 0,05, through SPSS 16.0. Analysis result indicate a change in the average value of the variable explosive power. In alternate lef bound groups there is increased, in knee tuck jump groups increase and contril goups there is not increased explosive power. The result of one way anova test, explosive power variables between the treatment groups and control group gained f count 58,920 and significance 0.000 that mean contained different effect between alternate leg bound training and knee tuck jump. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh pelatihan sprint 50 meter pada media tanah dan sprint 50 meter pada media pasir terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan the non-randomized control group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP N 3 Banjar tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 berjumlah 32 orang, kemudian dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik ordinal pairing, yaitu 16 orang diberikan pelatihan sprint 50 meter pada media tanah dan 16 orang diberikan pelatihan sprint 50 meter pada media pasir. Daya ledak otot tungkai diukur dengan test vertical jump. Data yang di dapat dianalisis dengan uji-t Independent pada taraf signifikansi (α) = 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0. Hasil analisis data menunjukan adanya perubahan nilai rata-rata pada variabel daya ledak otot tungkai. Pada kelompok perlakuan sprint 50 meter pada media tanah terjadi peningkatan sebesar 9,75, pada kelompok perlakuan sprint 50 meter pada media pasir terjadi peningkatan sebesar 15,88. Hasil uji-t Independent variabel daya ledak otot tungkai antara kelompok perlakuan sprint 50 meter pada media tanah dan sprint 50 meter pada media pasir didapat nilai thitung sebesar 2,789 dan signifikasi 0,009 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pelatihan sprint 50 meter pada media tanah dan sprint 50 meter pada media pasir terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data Post-test nilai rata-rata kelompok perlakuan, maka kelompok pelatihan sprint 50 meter pada media pasir lebih baik pengaruhnya dibandingkan pelatihan sprint 50 meter pada media tanah terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai sebesar 15,88. Dari hasil analisis data dalam pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa; (1) pelatihan sprint 50 meter pada media tanah dan sprint 50 meter pada media pasir berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. (2) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pelatihan sprint 50 meter pada media tanah dan sprint 50 meter pada media pasir terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. This study aims to determine the effect of 50 meter sprint exercise on soil media and sprint 50 meters on sand media against explosive muscle limb power. This type of research is an experiment with the design of non randomized control group pretest posttest design. The result of t-test of Independent variable of explosive muscle limb between sprint treatment group 50 meter on soil media and sprint 50 meter on sand media obtained tcount value 2,789 and significance 0,009 which means there is a difference of effect between 50 meter sprint exercise on soil media and sprint 50 meter on sand media to explosive power of leg muscle. Based on the result of data analysis Post-test average value of treatment group, The 50 meter sprint training group on the sand media is better than the 50 meter sprint training on the soil media against an increase in explosive muscle power of the legs of 15,88. From the results of data analysis in the discussion concluded that : (1) 50 meter sprint training on soil media and 50 meter sprint on sand media affect the increase of explosive power of leg muscle. (2) there is a difference of influence between 50 meter sprint training on soil media and sprint 50 meter on sand media to increase power of explosion of leg muscle. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan side hop dan box jump terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian the nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 39 orang yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok dengan teknik ordinal pairing berdasarkan hasil pre-test. Daya ledak otot diukur dengan test Jump Md. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan hasil T-Independent test dan Uji-F One Way Anova terhadap daya ledak otot diperoleh nilai Thitung sebesar 2.735 dengan signifikansi hitung 0.012 α < 0,05 maka terdapat peningkatan pengaruh dari masing-masing kelompok dan Fhitung sebesar 20.656 dengan nilai signifikansi hitung 0,000 α < 0,05, maka terdapat perbedaan pengaruh dari masing-masing kelompok. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji Least Significant Difference untuk mengetahui pelatihan mana yang lebih baik pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan side hop dan pelatihan box jump berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot dimana pelatihan side hop lebih baik pengaruhnya untuk peningkatan daya ledak otot. Saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah agar penelitian ini bisa digunakan sebagai acuan dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan ataupun penelitian selanjutnya.Kata Kunci : Pelatihan side hop, pelatihan box jump, daya ledak otot tungkai. This research aimed to know the effect of side hop training and box jump training to increase muscle explosive power. It was an experimental design research with the nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design. The muscle explosive power was measurred by test jump md. Based on the result of analysis using T-independent and one way anova tests toward muscle explosive power, found Thitung 2.735 with significance arithmetic 0.012 a < 0,05, and as a result found there was rising effect of each group and Fhitung 20.656 with significance arithmetic ,000 a < 0,05, and then, found the different effect of each group. Least significant difference test was did, in order to know which training was had better effect for increasing the muscle explosive power. As conclusing, the side hop and box jump training was influential to the increasing of muscle explosive power, which side hop training was better for increasing the muscle explosive power. Leg muscle explosiveness is one of the factors that determine the stability of jumping techniques in football. This research aims to prove that the combined training of Double Leg Speed ??Hop and Half Squat Jump is better than the Hurdle Jump in increasing leg muscle explosive power in male students participating in extracurricular football at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Utara. Type of this research was true experimental with randomized pre and post-test with control group design. The research subjects were 18 male extracurricular football students at SMP Negeri 2 Kuta Utara which were divided into two different treatment groups. Treatment group was given training in a combination of Double Leg Speed ??Hop and Half Squat Jump and control group was given hurdles training, with a frequency of training 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Measurement of leg muscle strength measured using a meter board with a vertical jump test. The results of the study in both groups obtained the average leg muscle explosive power before training in the combination of Double Leg Speed ??Hop and Half Squat Jump 38.49 ± 4.658 cm, while after training the combination of Double Leg Speed ??Hop and Half Squat Jump became 48.17 ± 4.305 cm. The average explosive power of leg muscles before the Skipping Jump training was 36.63 ± 3.953 cm, while after the skipping jump training was 40.79 ± 4.227 cm. The mean difference test in the increased leg muscle power in treatment group and control group using independent t-tests in the post-test data of the two groups showed that p = 0.00 (p <0.05). It was concluded that the exercises in Treatment Group and Control Group both had an increased effect and in Treatment Group increased leg muscle power more than in Control Group. This research suggestions are expected to coaches can provide training properly and use evaluation monitoring improves athlete achievement. Background: Amplification of inflammation in acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) increases inflammatory mediators and oxidative stress in the airways, pulmonary and systemic circulation that are characterized by increased plasma level of IL-6 and MDA, resulting in worsening of clinical symptoms. Xanthones in mangosteen pericarp have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, potentially as an adjuntive therapy in acute exacerbations of COPD. Methods: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of mangosteen pericarp extract to clinical improvements, plasma level of IL-6 and MDA of acute exacerbation COPD patients. A clinical trial of experimental with pretest and posttest was conducted on 34 acute exacerbation of COPD patients in Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta and Dr. Ario Wirawan Lung Hospital Salatiga from April until May 2016. The sample was taken by consecutive sampling. Subjects were divided by randomized double blind technique into the treatment group (n=17) received mangosteen pericarp extract 2x1100mg/day and control group (n = 17) received placebo. Clinical improvements were measured in CAT score and length of stay. CAT score, plasma level of IL-6 and MDA were measured on admission and at discharge. Length of stay based on the number of days of care in hospitals. Results: There was significant difference (p=0,011) towards decreased of IL-6 plasma level between treatment group (-2,17 ± 3,46 pg/ mL) and control group (+1,67 ± 6,81 pg/mL). There were no significant difference towards decreased of length of stay (p=0,34) between treatment group (4,12 ± 1,54 days) and control group (5,24 ± 2,49 days), towards decreased of CAT score (p=0,252) between treatment group (-19,18 ± 3,96) and control group (-18,24 ± 2,75), and towards decreased of MDA plasma level (p=0,986) between treatment group (+0,03 ± 0,36μmol/L) and control group (+0,35 ± 1,58). Conclusions: The addition of mangosteen pericarp extract 2x1100mg/day during hospitalization was significantly lowered plasma levels of IL-6, but were not significant in lowering the CAT score, shortening the length of stay, and reducing the increase in plasma level of MDA.

This research is a field experimental study with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The population is all students of the Faculty of Sport Science, Jambi State University with SportsTraining Education samples with a sampling technique is a proportional sampling of 40 people. The data analysis technique used is Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) at a significant level of 95%. By looking at the existing problems, the results obtained from the data processing shows that: there is no significant difference in effect between hurdles and side jump exercises on the ability of heading balls in football (Fo = 0.939> Ft = 4.11). There is a significant difference between the power of high limb muscle explosions with low limb muscle explosiveness to the ability of heading balls in football (Fo = 17,976> Ft = 4.11). For athletes who have high leg muscle explosive power, there is a significant difference in effect between goal jump training and side lomato training on ball heading abilities in football (to = 6.034> tt = 1.73). For athletes who have low leg muscle explosive power, there is a significant difference in effect between hurdles and side jump exercises on heading ball abilities in football (to = 12,357> tt = 1.73).

Background : Zn supplementation on stunted children in multiple research get the result inconsistent concerning the effect of Zn on children’s growth.Objective : To examine the effect of Zn supplementation to the change in height for index among stunted children age between 24-36 months.Methods: The research design is randomized pretest posttest control group design. The total of thirty six stunted children are divided into two groups. The treatment group is received syrup with 20 mg ZnSO4 twice a week for three months. The control group received placebo without Zn. Height for age z score (HAZ) on WHO Child Growth 2006 is used to measure height for age index while dietary intake and infection diseases are used as confounding variables.Result : There is significant difference in HAZ before and after supplementation at treatment group (p<0.001) and control group (p<0.001). There is a significant difference of the change in HAZ between the treatment group and control group (p=0.006). Percentage Achievement of Energy, Protein, and Zn Dietary Allowance have significant difference between the treatment group and control group (p=0.009; p<0.001; p<0.001, respectively). The change in HAZ, Percentage Achievement of Energy, Protein, and Zn Dietary Allowance are higher in treatment group than control group. Duration of diarrhea (p=0.045) and morbidity (p=0.019) are lower in treatment group than control group. Conclusion : Zn Supplementation among stunted children have significant effect on the change in HAZ, dietary intake, and infection.

Objective. To ascertain the efficacy and safety of Ganji Formulation (GF) for patients with Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who had undergone surgery. Materials and Methods. A total of 262 HCC patients who had undergone liver resection, local ablation, or transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) were divided randomly into the treatment group and control group. The former was treated with GF and the later with placebo, both for 6 months. The primary endpoint was overall survival (OS). Second endpoints were disease-free survival (DFS) or time to disease progression (TTP). Results. OS of the treatment group was significantly longer than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Subgroup analysis showed that, for patients who received TACE, the TTP was significantly longer in the treatment group than in the control group (P < 0.05). However, for patients who underwent liver resection or local ablation, there was no significant difference in DFS between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion. GF could improve postoperative cumulative survival and prolong the TTP. This clinical trial number is registered with ChiCTR-IOR-15007349.

The present study aimed to examine the effect of an 8-week balance training on the agility, strength, balance performance and tennis skills of tennis players aged 10-14. The study was participated by 19 tennis players (10 males and 9 females) playing in the EA Tennis Academy. The participants were selected randomly and divided into two groups as experimental group (9 players) and the control groups (10 players). Firstly, vertical jump, pro-agility, dynamic balance and ITN tennis skills tests were applied to all the participants. After all the test were completed, the experimental group were applied 8 weeks of balance and tennis training while the players in the control group continued tennis training only. The same tests were applied to the participants at the end of the 8 weeks. The findings of the study showed statistically significant improvement in the agility, balance index and tennis skills tests in the pre-test and post-tests of the experimental group (p = 0.034, p = 0.025, p = 0.003), whereas improvement was seen only in the tennis skills test of the control group (p = 0.000). In addition, no statistically significant difference was found in the vertical jump performance used to determine the explosive strength both in the experimental and control groups. As for the difference between groups, a significant difference was found only in the pro-agility post-tests of the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05). Based on these findings, it was revealed that balance training would improve agility and balance in 10-14 year-old children as well as contributing to their tennis skills. Therefore, it is considered that balance training should be included in training plans.
