The purpose of this research is to study Horizontal Swing and Hexagon Drill Training on the ability to play table tennis. Experimental research methods. Participants were 12 male students of the SMK Negeri 1 Stabat class who took part in table tennis extracurricular activities. Sampling was done by purposive sampling of 6 students. Purposive Sampling technique was taken because of several considerations namely limited time, energy, and funds so that it cannot take large samples. Considerations in taking samples are old students who take extracurricular table tennis. The study was conducted for 6 weeks with a frequency of exercise 3 times each week. After the data is obtained, then the data is processed using regression analysis techniques. The results of the study that were approved by the Horizontal Swing Exercise on the ability to play tennis students obtained Fcount = 0.14 and Ftable = 7.71, then Fo <from Ftable, the regression conclusion is not significant and there is no Horizontal Swing Exercise exercise on the ability to play table tennis of male students. While Hexagon Drill Training on the ability to play table tennis students obtained Fcount 0.01 and Ftable 7.71 then F0 <Ftabel, the regression conclusion is not meaningful and there is no contribution of Hexagon Drill Training on the ability to play table tennis of male students. The results of the multiple regression assessment of Horizontal Swing and Hexagon Drill Training on the ability to play table tennis for male students of grade 1 at SMK Negeri 1 Stabat obtained Fcount of 0.02 and Ftable of 9.55, thus Fcount <Ftable, no one is expected. table tennis male student class of SMK Negeri 1 Stabat.

The focus of the problem in this study is that this research is motivated by the low accuracy of the forehand smash. Table tennis at Club Pade Angen Mataram in 2020. The research objectives to be achieved based on the predetermined problem formulation are as follows: To find out the effect of multiball training on the smash forehand table tennis skills at Club Pade Angen Mataram in 2020. The research design in use is an experimental research "One-Group Pretest-posttest Design". This experiment still has external variables that influence the formation of the dependent variable. So the experimental results which are the dependent variable (bound) are not merely influenced by the independent variable (free). Table Tennis Forehand Drive Accuracy Instrument To make it easier to understand below is a picture of a table marking sign of two targets on the right side of the testicle, namely the area of 30cm x 30cm, both of which are 60cm x 60cm. . Table Sampling technique using a population study of 12 players. Based on data analysis, getting the t-count obtained a value of 10.30 then the t-table with degrees of magnitude N - 1 = 11 at a significant level of 5% shows a number that is 1.796. This result means that the t-count> t-table, namely (3.995> 1.796) or in other words the t-count obtained is greater than the limit of the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho), it is necessary that the t-value is equal to or greater than the t value. -table.

The present study aimed to examine the effect of an 8-week balance training on the agility, strength, balance performance and tennis skills of tennis players aged 10-14. The study was participated by 19 tennis players (10 males and 9 females) playing in the EA Tennis Academy. The participants were selected randomly and divided into two groups as experimental group (9 players) and the control groups (10 players). Firstly, vertical jump, pro-agility, dynamic balance and ITN tennis skills tests were applied to all the participants. After all the test were completed, the experimental group were applied 8 weeks of balance and tennis training while the players in the control group continued tennis training only. The same tests were applied to the participants at the end of the 8 weeks. The findings of the study showed statistically significant improvement in the agility, balance index and tennis skills tests in the pre-test and post-tests of the experimental group (p = 0.034, p = 0.025, p = 0.003), whereas improvement was seen only in the tennis skills test of the control group (p = 0.000). In addition, no statistically significant difference was found in the vertical jump performance used to determine the explosive strength both in the experimental and control groups. As for the difference between groups, a significant difference was found only in the pro-agility post-tests of the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05). Based on these findings, it was revealed that balance training would improve agility and balance in 10-14 year-old children as well as contributing to their tennis skills. Therefore, it is considered that balance training should be included in training plans.

This study quantified changes in tennis skills and dose of practice in adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities following an 8-week adapted tennis program. Twenty-seven adults with disabilities (mean age 24.7) participated in an 8-week adapted tennis program (1-hour, twice a week). Participants’ racquets were equipped with sensors that measured the number of shots during the program (dose). Pre- and post-test tennis skill assessments (process scores) were conducted for the forehand and backhand. All participants showed significant improvements in forehand and backhand process scores. Level of function, but not age or disability type, was associated with forehand and backhand process scores. The number of forehand shots performed during the adapted tennis program did not change across the program. The number of forehand shots was associated with age and disability type, but not level of function. The number of backhand shots (dose) was not associated with age, disability, or level of function. The number of forehand or backhand shots (dose) was not associated with changes in forehand or backhand process scores, respectively. This study provides evidence of the efficacy of this adapted tennis program to develop fundamental tennis skills in novice players with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
