The purpose of this research to describe the preparation of the acceptance of the new students in SD Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Boyolali, described the process of the acceptance of the new students, efforts in maintaining the process of the the process of the acceptance of the new students. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study. The data used in the study is primary and secondary data. The source of data:  infor- mants, events and activities led by the sources informants. The data collection techniques used in the study was interviews, observation and analysis of documents. The validity of the data used in the study was data triangulation. The data analysis used in the study was inter- active model. Based on the result of the research, can be concluded that: 1) the preparation of teaching and learning process consisted of: a) the committee arrangement of the accep- tance, b) the arrangement of work program, c) the preparation of administration documents d) the preparation of infrastructure. 2) The process consisted of: a) the determination of the implementation stage of the acceptance of new students: the retrieval of the registration form b) the implementation of observation test of  new students (spoken and written), c) the implementation of  interview test of parents from new students, d) the selection process and assessment of observation test, e) the announcement of the acceptance result of new students, f) the administration of pre-register activity. 3) The efforts done to maintain the acceptance process: a) doing the preparation of the acceptance of new students earlier, b) enhancing the quantity of students by doing the promotion, c) maintaining a good relation- ship with the society, d) fostering active communication and discussion with the foundation leader, e) improving of the quality of schools and the human resources.

The issue of information management is crucial for any academic institution. Convenient access to requested content is creating a competitive advantage for different types of decisions. Information management process in Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) often create problems because there is no systematic way of storage management. IPG lecturers stored their teaching materials in different kind of methods. This situation cause in a loss of resources, difficult to retrieve and also cannot be identified when it's needed. Dealing with large volumes of resources it is essential to use technological solutions that enable flexible storage, retrieval, processing and interpreting information. To solve the problems, this article introduced a framework that use single platform and named as Information Sharing for Learning (IS4L) for managing teaching and learning resources in IPG. The resources will be stored and can be accessed at any time. The framework also applied the technique of gamification to motivate and encourage users to use the application and consequently will increase the volume of resources stored. The developed application based on the proposed framework could help to motivate and engage peoples to share their resources and enhance quality of services in IPG. Finally it could assist to improve the performance and effectiveness of services to achieve users’ satisfaction.

<p>The focus of this research is to describe the strategy of adversity quotient for the management of the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) to develop innovations in turning barriers into opportunities for non-formal education programs. Qualitative research with this type of case study was carried out at PKBM Mentari, using structured interviews as the primary data collection method, in order to obtain primary data and document matrix methods to obtain secondary data. the data were analyzed using interactive techniques belonging to Miles and Huberman with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are the adversity quotient strategy that generally implemented by PKBM is very good, this can be seen from the indicators including: 1) Organizing learning activities flexibly in terms of time, so that it does not interfere with the daily activities of the community; 2) Provide learning at affordable costs so as not to burden the community in participating in learning; 3) Making the community the main partner in the continuation of teaching and learning activities at PKBM and 4) Building synergies with local village officials. The relatively short research time is the main limitation in compiling this study, so that it only maximizes the statements of the main informants. </p><p><strong> </strong></p>

Educational services in schools is part of the community and the public school. Service quality is a product and or services in accordance with established quality standards and customer satisfaction. Quality in education include the quality of input, process, output, and outcome. Input-grade education when it is ready to proceed otherwise. Output otherwise qualified if the learning outcomes of academic and non academic students achieving at least equal to the minimum completeness criteria specified. Government's efforts to service and quality of education is the use of School-Based Management (SBM) is accompanied by the determination of output criteria, processes, and educational input at school. PT TAF is one of multifinance companies in Indonesia. The increase in low segment sales from 2013-2017 with a high credit amount led to an increase in the quality of PT TAF's receivables categorized as Non Performing Financing (NPF). This increase in NPF was also accompanied by an increase in PT TAF's net loss in 2017 and affected the company's profits. Therefore an analysis is needed to find out factors that influence the amount of credit and NPF, in order to formulate the strategy to manage it. This study uses secondary data of PT TAF debtors which related to the amount of credit, debtor delays and NPF from 2013 to 2017. The approach of this study is a case study in PT TAF about the level of NPF from 2013 -2017. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis and statistical tests. Multiple linear regression is performed to determine the factors that influence the amount of credit, while binary logistic regression is carried out to determine the factors that influence NPF. The results of the analysis will be used to formulate a strategy proposal for controlling NPF at PT TAF. Factors that significantly influence the amount of the credit are vehicle price, age, loan interest, installment amount, income, down payment, type of first installment, type of vehicle, education, gender, credit package, and credit tenor. The factors that influence NPF are the amount of credit, Loan to Value (LTV), the residence area of ​​the debtor and inflation. The proposed strategy formulations are: to consider factors which affecting amount of credit in granting credit, to increase the debtor portfolio with LTV less than or equal to 80 percent, avoid low down payment and long tenor products, strengthen collection organizational structures and increase team collection capabilities, and utilize the Financial Information Service System from OJK to obtain information about the debtors.

This study aims to describe the agribusiness partnership process that takes place in Kampung Kucai, analyze the income of chives farming, and the perception of chives farmers on the partnership process in Garum District, Blitar Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Informants in this study were partner chives farmers in Kampung Kucai. Determination of the sample of plasma partner farmers was carried out by purposive sampling method. Informants were selected based on secondary data from the core and information from farmers. So the sample used for Kucai Mitra farmers is 20 people. In addition, there are also 5 key informants. The methods of data collection carried out in this study are of several types, namely structured interviews, in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. The data analysis method used in this researchis descriptive analysis,  income analysis, and Likert analysis. The results showed that the type of partnership between the Financial Institution "Bank BRI" and the partner chives farmers was classified as a nucleus-plasma partnership pattern. In the mechanism of the partnership pattern of the Financial Institution "BRI Bank" with the Kucai Farmer Group, it is carried out based on a partnership agreement. The agreement letter contains the identities of the two partnering parties and the rules given by "Bank BRI" as well as the location or planting area. The total income from chives farming is Rp. 242,000, -. The income of chives farming can be taken by women farmers once a month at the monthly member meeting in the Women Farmers Group or can be saved in advance. If they are saved, usually the women farmers in the research location will take the income before the Eid al-Fitr. The perception of partner chives farmers on the planning of partnership implementation is 80% or very good, the perception of partner chives farmers on the partnership process is 78% or quite good, and the perception of the evaluation of the partnership is very good with 85% results. So that the results of the Likert analysis on the average perception of partner chives farmers on the partnership process with financial institutions "Bank BRI" have a very good category with a percentage of 80% where the total score is 483.

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences of Internet Financial Reporting Quality. This study was using quantitative approach with independent sample t test and mann whitney u test. The population of this study was official website of islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia. determination of the number of samples using (sampling jenuh), where all of the population is used as a sampel. Data that being used was secondary data. The data was collected from official website of the sentral banks in each country. The result of this study showed that there was significant differences of Internet Fianncial Reporting Quality between Indonesia and Malaysia. The difference is caused there are significant differences between the quality of content and timeliness components. Meanwhile, there is no differences between technology and user support components.

Interest is growing in educational designs that blend MOOCs with on-campus teaching and researchers are seeking to incorporate the spirit of a MOOC into a hybrid model. This article reports on the current experience of a higher education institution embarking on blended learning models. The aim of this article is to present a case study and to discuss the strategic approach to integrating a MOOC at undergraduate level. The evaluation strategy of this experience uses surveys and focus groups to interpret the results and the perspective of the various stakeholders. The analysis synthesizes the opinion of the main stakeholders – the institution, the students and the academic staff – and shows that in addition to improving the financial viability of MOOCs, blended learning models improve the quality of students' education, strengthen students' academic performance, and encourage academic staff to constantly innovate their teaching and learning process.

This case study examines an often overlooked context of information system failures, that of pre-implementation failure. It focuses on an Information Systems Development (ISD) project at a large public university that failed even before implementation could get under way. Specifically, it describes the vendor selection process of a proposed computerized maintenance management system. While the managers in charge of the project took great care to avoid commonly discussed types of information systems failures by emphasizing user involvement and trying to select the best possible system they could afford, non-functional requirements, procedures as outlined in the RFP, and the roles of relevant but relatively “hidden” decision makers during the pre-implementation stage of the project were overlooked. This led to the termination of the project after an appeal was lodged by a software vendor whose product had not been selected for implementation.

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning nurtures an academic discussion of best instructional practices. This case study examines the role domain knowledge plays in determining extent to which students can effectively analyze an opinion piece from a major news organization, locate a relevant source to support their view of the issue, and reflect on the quality of their work. The goal of analyzing an opinion piece is twofold: it fosters critical thinking in analyzing the strength of an argument and it promotes information management skills in locating and incorporating relevant sources in a real-world scenario. Students, however, exhibited difficulties in accurately completing the assignment and usually overestimated their expertise. This chapter traces how each step in the process of making this study public clarifies the issues encountered. The focus here, however, centers on the context within which the study was formulated, those issues that contributed to framing the research question, and how the context of inquiry served to deepen insights in interpreting the results.

In this work we have studied the selection criteria for traffic analysis zones and the effects of their size and number on the model’s forecasting capabilities. To do so we have focused on the corridor of İstanbul’s Kadıköy-Kartal Metro Line and evaluated the consistency of demand forecasts and travel assignments versus actual measurements under different sizes of the Traffic Analysis Zones (TAZ). Significant improvements in model accuracy were observed by decreasing the zone size. Specifically, studying the public transport network assignments for the metro line when increasing the number of traffic analysis zones from 540 to 1,788 the root mean square error (RMSE) of forecasted vs. actual station-based counts was reduced by 23%. Subsequently, the study used population density and employment density as independent variables for the determination of the optimal radius for the 1,788 zone area, and applied an exponential regression model. Appropriate model parameters were derived for the above case study. The regression model resulted in R2 values over 0.62.
