The article presents a theoretical analysis of existing concepts to evaluate the non-failure of RC structures in operation. To perform the analysis, the authors considered a number of scientific works of both Ukrainian and foreign researchers. The main focus was on works in which the model of the stochastic nature of the RC structure operation included random parameters of acting loads, as well as the reserve of its bearing capacity and serviceability (geometric dimensions of cross sections of constructive members, strength and deformation characteristics of materials, etc.). Among others, according to the authors, important problems in terms of analysis of a single work were the volume of statistical selection of random parameters, their number and impact on the study result, as well as rationality of the adopted method of calculating the probability of failure (or non-failure work) of RC structure in operation. Based on the processing of a number of scientific works, the authors highlight the relevance, advantages and disadvantages of the concepts of non-failure assessment proposed there, as well as the formulate the conclusions and recommendations for further experimental and theoretical research in this area.

Mineral mining in rockburst-hazardous conditions should involve various precautions in compliance with federal regulations and standards. One of the main methods to prevent rock bursts is destressing drilling. In this method, a yielding zone is artificially created. The strength and deformation characteristics in this zone differ from the same characteristics of enclosing rock mass, and redistribution of stresses takes place as a result. Efficiency of destressing drilling is estimated in terms of ore body S-2 in Komsomolsky Mine. The efficiency criterion is selected to be the safety factor of rock mass with and without destressing drilling. Low efficiency of destressing drilling means that this method is readily replaceable by the other techniques of lesser labor input, for example, by reduction in the rate of mining, or by seasoning of underground excavations for some time required for redistribution of stresses to take place. Based on the theoretical research and the conclusions drawn at NorNickel’s Polar Division, the full-scale tests are scheduled for the implementation in order to gradually abandon destessing drilling in rockburst-hazardous Talnakh and Oktyabrsky ore fields. The authors appreciate participation of V. P. Marysyuk from NorNickel’s Polar Division in this study.

The article concerns the illusory presentation of non-existent architectural objects directly in the place of their original location. This specific conservation method is considered as a tool for disseminating knowledge about the original architectural landscape of places where it has undergone transformations. The authors believe that its implementation may contribute to the growth of the identity of cities and their inhabitants. The concept refers to augmented reality, but the authors use only optical means to create a virtual component, The article presents the results of theoretical analysis and practical experiments, pointing to the advantages and disadvantages of the method.

Failure mode of reinforced concrete (RC) structures are classified according to tension reinforcement ratio of beam elements. To determine effect of tension reinforcement ratio on performance of RC structure, two planar RC structure were selected. One of them is 5 stories other of them is 7 stories. Two different concrete class, C20 and C25, were considered for analysis. Three tension reinforcement combinations were considered, three different tension reinforcement ratios were used. First case is the ratio of the tension reinforcement is lower than that of the compression reinforcement, second case is the ratio of the tension reinforcement is equal to the ratio of the compression reinforcement and third case is the ratio of the tensile reinforcement is higher than the compression reinforcement.

The phenomenon of gender leadership is a controversial object in contemporary leadership studies. These days, the possibilities of traditional leadership have been limited by the ongoing dynamic, global changes, which have influenced the emergence of female leadership as an independent phenomenon and its separation from the male leadership. Presently, possibilities exist to form new insights about gender leadership. Scholars have begun an intense scientific discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of male and female leadership. The goal of this paper is to disclose the social and emotional leadership competencies of different gender employees. The employed research methods are as follows: an analysis and synthesis of scientific literature with the aim of revealing the peculiarities of gender leadership and defining leadership as a set of social and emotional competencies; quantitative research conducted using a questionnaire-based survey with the aim of empirically determining the manifestation of social and emotional leadership competencies in terms of gender leadership. The theoretical analysis allows us to identify the fundamental trends of gender leadership research. The empirical basis of this article comprises the results of empirical research carried out in 2018. The paper includes an abstract of the theoretical research of gender leadership and the social and emotional leadership competencies based on the research methodology and the results received. According to the results of the empirical research, it is possible to find matching assessments of social and emotional leadership competencies in men and women; certain significant differences exist as well. These results revealed which of the advantages possessed by female leaders tend to lie in their soft management skills: interaction, trust, as well as relationships and skills in working with people.

School enterprise cooperation is of great strategic significance to China’s manufacturing industry. The Party Central Committee has repeatedly proposed to strengthen the integration of industry and education and deepen the cooperation between schools and enterprises. In recent years, experts and scholars at home and abroad have been from different perspectives, although they have achieved fruitful results, there are also problems such as insufficient attention to theoretical research, relatively backward research, narrow research scope, and so on. In view of this phenomenon, this paper will study a new school-enterprise cooperation mechanism based on the improved decision tree algorithm. The research of this paper is divided into three parts. First, after analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the algorithm, the algorithm of the decision tree is improved, which makes the improved algorithm more suitable for the field of school-enterprise cooperation. Then, based on cloud computing and intelligence, this paper establishes a new model of school-enterprise cooperation platform, which solves some problems of data management and information exchange in school-enterprise cooperation. Finally, in order to make the cooperation mechanism of this paper better used in practice, this paper builds an online and offline hybrid training base, hoping to make the cooperation between schools and enterprises closer through the training base. In order to test the effect of the cooperation model, this paper takes school as the experimental model. After investigation and research, it is believed that thanks to the school-enterprise cooperation mechanism in this paper, the cooperative enterprise of school has been greatly improved in the past three years, and the willingness of enterprises to cooperate has become more and more strong. No matter students, teachers, or enterprises are reaping huge benefits under this cooperation mechanism, it is a suit for extensive promotion The school-enterprise cooperation mechanism of Guangyun.

The selection of seismic inputs for nonlinear dynamic analysis is widely debated, mainly focusing on the advantages and disadvantages provided by the choice of natural, simulated, or artificial records. This work proves the differences in the structural behavior of RC buildings when using accelerograms with different levels of stationarity. Initially, nonlinear response under three sets of accelerograms equivalent in terms of pseudo acceleration spectrum is evaluated and compared. Then, the results of incremental dynamic analyses are compared by the statistical point of view considering different levels of irregularity for the reference structure.
