ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to describe the use of sentences in the news text of class VIII B SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP academic year 2018. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The research entry is the news text writing of class VIII B students, amounting to 28 texts from 28 people. Data collection is done through documentation studies. Data were analyzed by referring to the Miles and Huberman models with steps, namely (1) doing data reduction, (2), displaying data, and (3) making conclusions and verification (conclusion drawing / verification). Based on the results of the study, the use of sentences used in the text includes single sentences and compound sentences. The use of single sentences was found 105 (57%) of 183 sentences as research data. Whereas, compound sentences were found 78 (42%) of 183 sentences as research data. The use of sentences based on single sentences is found 81 (76%) verbal predicate sentences of 105 single sentences, 8 (8%) numeral predicate sentences of 105 single sentences, 7 (7%) nominal sentences of 105 single sentences, 6 (6%) sentences the sentence has an adjunctival predicate of 105 single sentences, and 3 (3%) prepositional prediction of 105 single sentences. Then, the use of sentences based on compound sentences found 41 (53%) compound sentences equivalent from 78 compound sentences and 37 (47%) multilevel compound sentences from 78 compound sentences. Kata kunci: Teks Berita, Penggunaan Kalimat

The purpose of the current study was to determine what the metaphors of the candidate philosophy group teachers regarding the concept of mind and understand the related metaphors by means of gathering the metaphors expressed under certain categories. Phenomenology, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the current study. The working group was made up of the students having pedagogical formation at Gazi University in the academic year of 2017-2018 and the last year students studying Philosophy Group Teaching at Gazi University. In this sense, the study was applied to total 85 people. Qualitative data collection techniques were used in the research. Data collection tool was applied to the participants by the researchers. In this sense, 62 valid metaphors were produced out of 85 candidate teachers. The metaphors produced were gathered under 10 categories as mind as a guide, mind as a basic element, mind as suitability for the purpose, mind as a working and developing structure, mind as a storage, mind as showing the reality, mind as an illuminator, mind as a valuable competence, mind as a limitless competence and the unclassified.In the order of metaphors produced mostly by the candidate philosophy group teachers participating the research, mind as a guide was in the first place at the rate of 17.3%. Mind as a basic element was in the second category with a rate of 16% and it was followed by mind as suitability for the purpose and mind as a working and developing structure with a rate of 12%.

Learning mathematics requires the ability to think logically and critically, not only learning to count. Therefore, teaching concepts is very important. Many students have incorrect, incomplete concepts and so on. As a result, mistakes occur when students do simple mathematics. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the errors in the castor stage. The stages of castor are used including concept errors, procedure errors and technic errors. This research is a qualitative research. The research subjects were students of grade VI SDN Belitung Selatan 1 Banjarmasin. The procedure for selecting subjects used purposive sampling. The data techniques used were tests and interviews. The test is in the form of description questions. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation and data collection. Based on the research data, it can reveal that students made misconceptions, procedural errors and technical errors. Each student made these mistakes with different indicators.

<p><em>This study is a qualitative research that aims to describe and explain the customary marriage of the Islamic Society of Samin and the analysis of da'wah fardiyah to the Islamic marriage of Samin (Sedulur Sikep) community in Bombong Village Baturejo Village Sukolilo District Pati Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research. The source of research data is the marriage perpetrators of Islam between the Samin community and Muslims, the head of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) and the wife of one of the Samin community elders. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. Methods of data analysis using Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, display data, conclusion. The results showed that Islamic marriage Samin society consists of several stages of application, pengislaman / shahada, marriage ceremony and prayer. Da'wah fardiyah on the Samin community has a tendency of the Islamic party to be da'i in his family which is shown by his advice in daily activities to carry out the command of Allah in accordance with Islamic Shari'a.</em></p>

This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of e-learning as a learning media for archiving subjects at SMKN 2 Buduran Sidoarjo in the covid-19 pandemic. This study was qualitative research. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The validity of data was examined by source triangulation. Then, the data were analyzed by the Miles and Huberman Model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that e-learning learning media was effectively utilized in the archiving subject, based on 4 indicators of learning effectiveness. In terms of the elearning quality, which was seen from the process and results, it was found that 2 applications used during the learning process, namely google classroom and whatsapp was easily accessed and understood. In addition, the students’ learning outcomes, which was scored more than 80 (72.6%); described the student’ and teachers’ readiness in starting the lessons and the ongoing process of learning, such as the fulfillment of facilities like cellphones and laptops, after that, the teachers provided materials for students to learn first. Moreover, in terms of incentives, the teachers’ activities whcih motivated students every time they started the lessons included giving advices and positive energy; the teachers provided additional score for active students. Then, in terms of time, it was seen from the presence of  teacher to start the lesson on time in which the teachers assigned students based on the predetermined deadlines so that the students were more disciplined.

This study aims to discuss the creativity of teachers in teaching the Koran to students who have limited speech. It can be seen that students with speech impairment are students who have lives with special needs. Nothing else in the process of studying a religious science, namely learning the Koran, both in terms of reading and memorizing. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of this research data with several parts, namely, data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of data analysis showed that the methods applied by the Tahfidz teacher in teaching the Koran to students with speech impairment had a good influence. Like the Yanbu’a method and the Talaqqi method.

This research aimed to find outthe mechanism of hamisbatar local wisdom of ManehituFafiur Tribe, in Belu Regency, NTT. This study was descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out using observation, documentation and interview. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result of research showed that hamisbatarrite was organized in six stages: preparing land rite, planting rite, hamisbatarrite held in Manehitufafiur tribal house, corn harvest rite, corn collection in customary house, and corn binding rite still continue to be implemented until today.

As for the author uses analysis techniques to analyze data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study, pembalajaran in Madin, M2M TQ of Kediri greatly influenced by the role diligence of the teachers in teaching and learning activities in the classroom, as well as the readiness of the students, habituation sets student discipline, and set the method of punishment

This study aims to determine how the ability of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Takengon in experimenting with jute sack waste as a material for making lantern handicrafts. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The population of this research is 180 students. The sample used consisted of five works using a sampling technique aimed at taking the subject not above average, random or regional, but based on a specific purpose. The assessment indicators examined in this study were color, unity and functional value. The results of the study on the manufacture of lanterns made from hemp sack waste in craft subjects for Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Takengon in the academic year of 2020/2021 showed that overall they received a good score (B). This good value is seen from the work of students who use three assessment indicators in making lanterns made from jute sack waste and are assessed by three teams of assessors / validators.

AbstractCommunity empowerment is an important thing to do because through empowerment,people's lives become better. Conceptual empowerment in essence discusses how individuals,groups or communities try to control their own lives and seek to shape the future accordingto their wishes. The purpose of this study was to find out how to empower youth groups inrealizing an independent village in Manding Daya village, Manding sub-district. The focus inthis research uses the Chabib Sholeh theory (2014: 81) which suggests three scopes ofcommunity empowerment activities, namely; a) Increasing Role in Each Activity, b)Increasing Efficiency and Effectiveness, c) Increasing Self Competence Automatically. Themethod in this study uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques usedwere observation at the research site, interviews with relevant informants anddocumentation. The data analysis technique used in this study uses data reduction, datapresentation and conclusion drawing/data verification. The results of the research that havebeen carried out include a) Increasing the Role in Each of these Activities in the YouthOrganization's empowerment program in the field of catfish cultivation is quite maximal. b)Increasing Efficiency and Effectiveness is a program carried out by Karang Taruna, one ofwhich is socialization of catfish farm waste managed by Karang Taruna which is disposed ofto TPS (Waste Processing Sites) with the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) method. c) AutomaticSelf Competence Improvement supported by the facilities provided by the Manding DayaVillage Government. In this case, it is proven by a comparative study which was attended byyouth of Karang Taruna in Manding Daya Village.Keywords: Empowerment, Youth OrganizationAbstrakPemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan hal yang penting untuk dilakukan karena melaluipemberdayaan, kehidupan masyarakat menjadi lebih baik. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, yakni meliputi a)Peningkatan Peran Dalam Setiap Kegiatan ini dalam program pemberdayaan Karang Tarunadi bidang budidaya lele sudah cukup maksimal. b) Peningkatan Efisiensi dan Efektifitas iniyaitu program yang dilakukan oleh Karang Taruna salah satunya sosialisasi dari limbahpeternakan ikan lele yang dikelola oleh Karang Taruna yaitu di buang ke TPS (TempatPengolahan Sampah) dengan metode 3R (Reduce,Reuse, Recycle). c) PeningkatanKompetensi Diri Secara Otomatis yang didukung oleh fasilitas yang telah disediakan olehPemerintah Desa Manding Daya.Dalam hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya studi banding yangdiikuti oleh remaja Karang Taruna Desa Manding Daya.Kata Kunci : Pemberdayaan, Karang Taruna

<p>Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keberagaman ide siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kreativitas siswa yang memiliki disposisi matematis tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, sehingga kehadiran peneliti sangat penting karena peneliti berperan sebagai instrumen utama. Dalam penelitian ini data dikumpulkan dengan metode angket, tes dan wawancara. Instrumen penunjang yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket disposisi matematis, soal tes masalah matematika, dan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan mengacu terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Dalam penelitian ini reduksi data dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan siswa kedalam tingkat disposisi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah melalui angket disposisi matematis siswa. Selanjutnya data disajikan berupa deskripsi karakteristik tingkat kreativitas siswa yang memiliki disposisi matematis tinggi dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika. Selanjutnya dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi waktu untuk memeriksa keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah siswa memiliki tingkat kreativitas 4 dan 3.</p><p> </p><p><em>The research motivated by the student's idea of diversity in mathematic problems solving. This research aims to describe student’s level of creativity that has high mathematic disposition. This research is qualitative research, so the presence of researcher is very important because researcher acted as the main instrument. In this research, the techniques of data collection are questionnaire, test, and interview. While instruments that use in this study are student’s mathematic disposition questionnaire, the test of mathematic problems solving and guidelines for interviews. The analysis data used are data reduction, data displayed, and conclusions. In this research, data reduction was done by grouping students into mathematical disposition rate high, medium, and low using student’s mathematic disposition questionnaire. Then, data are presented in the form of a description of the characteristics of student’s level of creativity that have the high mathematic disposition in mathematic problems solving. Furthermore, it carried out the withdrawal of the conclusion. Researcher uses triangulation to check the validity of the data. The results of this research are the student has creativity level 4 and 3.</em></p>
