This study aims to describe the ARTS method as an effort to improve the solfegio skills of music study students in the Department of Drama, FBS, Padang State University. This research is a quasi-experimental research using descriptive analytic approach. The results of the study found that applying the four stages in the ARTS method could improve Solfegio skills, namely: (1) the preparation stage, namely designing the subject matter. (2) Presentation stage, namely the explanation of the concept of rhythm, interval, melody, and transfiguration of note units. (3) Practice stages or exercises, namely Audio, Reproduction, Transcription, and Sight-reading/ Sight-singing exercises. (4) Stages of performance, namely assessment. This research is expected to be a guide in learning solfegio, both at the elementary and tertiary levels

Advances in information and communication technology (ICT) are changing organizations, with old practices being altered and new practices, spaces and possibilities created (Wertheim, 1999). It is the capacity of the ICT to support electronically mediated social environments that is causing reconceptualization of leadership conceptions. The emerging concept of e-leadership provides a framework to explore leadership in environments mediated by ICT. Unfortunately, there is considerable conceptual confusion about the term, with at least three different research streams producing different understandings. It is this complexity surrounding e-leadership that is the subject of this article (an extended discussion of this topic can be found in Gurr [2004] and Gurr and Broadbent [2004]). Research on e-leadership is at an early stage. In terms of Reichers and Scheider’s (1990, as described in Hunt, 1999, p. 131) three-stage model of concept development, which includes introduction/elaboration, evaluation/augmentation and consolidation/accommodation, the study of e-leadership is at the introduction/elaboration stage. While there is acknowledgment that a new concept of leadership may be needed, there is conceptual ambiguity as to what this might be, and limited research. Evidence and discussion about e-leadership comes from three main types of research: consultancy discussion papers, survey-based perceptual data, and experimental and quasi-experimental research.

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan model role playing lebih dari hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori di SMPN 21 Kota Bengkulu pada pokok bahasan aritmetika sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment (Eksperimen semu) dengan desain penelitian yaitu The Nonequivalent Posttest-only  Control Group Design. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar berupa tes akhir (posttest) yang berbentuk tes essay. Analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t untuk sampel independen, diperoleh bahwa  dan , maka yang berarti  diterima. Hal ini didukung oleh perhitungan melalui SPSS versi 23 yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,159 dengan taraf signifikan ( ) = 0,05, sehingga Sig. (2-tailed) > ( ). Hasil penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan model role playing sama dengan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori di SMP Negeri 21 Kota BengkuluKata Kunci: hasil belajar matematika, model role playing, pembelajaran ekspositori.  AbstractThis research was purposed to know difference the student learning result of mathematics by using role playing learning model with expository learning on the subject of aritmetika sosial at the grade VII of Junior High School 21 Kota Bengkulu. The current study aimed to investigate the effects of proving instructions in L2 listening activities on the participants’ performance in the classroom and the participants’ views regarding the use of L1. The study included 48 students in the preparatory classes in the School of Foreign languages, at a state university in Turkey. Through the post-test, only quasi-experimental research design, the participants’ performance was compared in classes with L1 and L2 instructions in the listening activities. The results indicated that the participants in the experimental group scored higher than those in the control group who were exposed to L2 instructions.

The aim of this research is to know the effect of CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting and Extending) learning models to students concept understanding of atomic strukture. This research is quasi experimental research with a nonequivalent control group. The population in the research is class X SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur. The samples in the research was X MIPA 2 as an experimental class and class X MIPA 5 as a control class which was determined randomly. The experimental class was treated with the implementation of CORE learning model while the control class with a scientific approach. Data was collected using essay test instruments. The data obtained from test were analyzed descriptively and statistically by the test-t right side. The results of data analysis obtained tcount = 5,63 and ttable = 1,66 with α = 0,05, dk = 74. Tcount > ttable is 5,63 > 1,66 meaning that the implementation of CORE learning model can improve students concept understanding on the subject of atomic structure in the class X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur. Criteria students concept understanding in the experimental class with an average N-gain of 0,80 while the average N-gain in the control class is 0,69.

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe students' mathematical connection abilities reviewed through the application of SAVI learning approach based on environment and expository learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research, in this study consists of three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation phase and the data analysis phase. This study took two parallel classes which were randomly homogeneous by applying different learning methods, namely the experimental and control classes. Based on the results of data processing obtained Fcount for learning is 119,653 with a significance of 0,000 < 0,05. Then H0 is rejected or Ha is accepted. This means that there are differences in the increase in mathematical connection skills between experimental class students and control class students. Besides that, it can also be concluded that the increase in students' mathematical connection skills through the application of the SAVI learning approach based on environment is higher than the students whose learning uses expository learning.Keywords: Mathematical Connection, SAVI, Environment Based, Expository.

The low ability of mathematical generalization of the students of SMPN 17 Bandar Lampung is because most of the students still have difficulty in drawing a conclusion from the material they have acquired and the lesson learned process of generalization aspect or less precisely the instructional model used. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of learning model of Peer Led Guided Inquiry and learning, discovery learning model with the ability of mathematical generalization. The measured variable from this research is the generalization ability in mathematics learning with the subject of algebraic factorization. This research is a quasi experimental research (quasi experimental research), where the subject of the study is students Class VIII students SMPN 17 Bandar Lampung. Data collection technique used is a test of mathematical generalization ability. The data analysis technique used analysis of variance (ANAVA) of one road with cell unlike the significance level α = 0,05 and as requirement analysis, that is a normal distribution population with liliefors model and homogenous population with Bartlett Test. Based on the result of research using ANAVA one way with cell unequal with significance level α = 0,05 it is obtained that 〖F〗 _count F_tabel IE 7,5105 3,0973, hence the decision of Ho test is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is influence of learning model Peer Led Guided Inquiry, learning model of Discovery Learning, Conventional learning model to ability of mathematical generalization of learners. The test proceeds with a double-compression test using Scheffe ' methods to see which has a significant effect on mathematical generabilizability. The calculation results show that of the three treatments, the learning model of Discovery Learning which gives a significant influence on the ability of mathematical generalization.

This study is the quasi experimental research that aimed to know the effect of the implementation of Padlet to the students’ achievement in writing. The implementation Padlet as independent variables and the students’ achievement in writing as a dependent variable. The population in this research is all students class XI MIA MAN 1 Makassar that consist of eight classes. Class XI MIA 5 as a control group that consist of 30 students and class XI MIA 1 as an experiment group that consist of 30 students. The data of the research was obtained by the study results test on the subject of the velocity reaction for pre-test and post-test. The data was analyzed by writing test. Based on analysis of inferential statistics for writing achievement, the P = 0.001, and it less than  = 0,05 was obtained, it is means that the implementation Padlet is significantly influence to the students’ achievement in writing of the students’ class XI MIA 1 MAN I Makassar on the material subject of writing.

The aim of this research was to find out whether there was any significant effect of using bio-poem strategy on students’ ability in writing descriptive paragraph at Mts Darul Falah Salo Kampar Regency. This research was Experimental Research. The design was quasi-experimental research. The writer formulated the problems that would be answered by using the quantitative research. The subject of the research was the second year students of MTs Darul Falah Salo Kampar Regency academic year 2016/2017. The object of this research was bio poem strategy and their writing ability on descriptive paragraph. The writer took two classes: experimental and control. Experiment class was with 17 students, and control class was with also 17 students. To analyze the data, the writer adopted independent sample T-test formula by using SPSS 20 version. After analyzing the data, the writer found that the students’ writing ability was taught by using bio-poem strategy at MTs Darul Falah Salo was categorized into good level. The students’ writing ability was taught without using bio-poem strategy at MTs Darul Falah Salo was categorized into less level. Writer found that Ha: sig. (2 tailed)<0.05. From the research finding it can be concluded that teaching writing by using bio-poem strategy gave large effect on students’ writing ability in descriptive paragraph at MTs Darul Falah Salo Kampar Regency.

This research aims to know the influence of philosophical values of cognitive counseling theory with engineering modeling modeling techniques and Vasudeva Krishna Noble Bhisma to develop personally excelled in personal development courses Counselors through lesson study on student semester IV Department of BK FIP Undiksha. This type of research was quasi experimental research. The number of students of the subject is 33 students consisting of 19 women and 14 men. The source of the data in this study is the result of observations, interviews, results of filling diaries, and the results of questionnaires filling. Superior personal data collected with the test results. Methods of analysis used is the test of the t-test. The results showed that there is the influence of cognitive counseling with techniques of Vasudeva Krishna and modeling techniques that glorious modeling Bhisma against superior personal development through lesson study.

Bovine respiratory diseases cause serious economic loses and present diagnostic difficulties due to the variety of etiologic agents, predisposing conditions, parasites, viruses, bacteria and mycoplasma, and may be multiple or complicated. Several agents which have been isolated from the abnormal lungs are still the subject of controversy and uncertainty. These include adenoviruses, rhinoviruses, syncytial viruses, herpesviruses, picornaviruses, mycoplasma, chlamydiae and Haemophilus somnus.Previously, we have studied four typical cases of bovine pneumonia obtained from the Michigan State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory to elucidate this complex syndrome by electron microscopy. More recently, additional cases examined reveal electron opaque immune deposits which were demonstrable on the alveolar capillary walls, laminae of alveolar capillaries, subenthothelium and interstitium in four out of 10 cases. In other tissue collected, unlike other previous studies, bacterial organisms have been found in association with acute suppurative bronchopneumonia.
