Template matching is one of the techniques in digital image processing function to match each part of an image with an image into a template (reference). Template matching method is often used to identify the image of the character of letters, numbers, fingerprints, and other matching applications. In this final project will be made on the damage detection applications PCB track, this is due to PCB circuit paths that are too small and tight, so the detection manually, by using on the human eye will take a long time and a high degree of exhaustion. Making an application is intended to speed up the process detection of damage to the PCB track. The method used in this application is a method of Template Matching with Delphi programming language. Algorithms method Template Matching will classify the object, by comparing the image with a reference PCB with PCB input image. The results of applications  showed that PCB track damage detection method can detect with Template Matching damage on  the PCB track, which is marked by a red rectangular box if there is damage on  the PCB. If there is no damage on the PCB, then a warning box appears informing the PCB in good condition, without any defects. Keywords: PCB, Template Matching Method, Image Processing, Delphi

To design a system in order to identify an object number plate for the Indonesian format, an initial system is designed, in the form of a vehicle licence plate recognition application using template matching method. The goal of this application is to be implemented to the parking system by identifying the number plate. This system uses the camera for the image capture process, by utilizing image processing technology with the matching correlation template method for recognition to produce a string value from the image. Before doing recognition process, First, the pre processing stage is performed on the input image which includes grayscale, binary, until the segmentation stage before the correlation / comparison process is carried out on the image of Template. The process that occure in the pre-processing unit done for some reason including to make the image lighter and less complex. This process will make the image easer to be processed and also to increase the proses speed of the system. Before aply template matching algorithm to the image output from segmentation process, the image has to be resized first to match the size of the template image stored in data base. This has to done so that the target image and the template image can be match directly with template matching algorithm.  The output of this system is a string value which is refer to the value of the license plate capture by camera used by the system. The problem that arises in the introduction process is how to identify various types of characters with various sizes and shapes so that the string value is the same as the text image. The average success rate of this application is 70% so that further research must be carried out so this system can be implemented into the parking system. Template matching method is a simple and widely used method to recognize patterns. The weakness of this algorithm is the limited model that will be used as a template as a comparison in the database such as shape, size, and orientation. The Extraction Feature algorithm addresses the problem of template models such as the shape, size, and orientation that exist in the matching template algorithm by mapping the characteristics of the image object to be recognized. Optical character recognition is used to translate characters into digital images into text formats. Its simple implementation makes the template matching method widely used. In this final project discusses the introduction of color in an image to be detected color, this color recognition is not fully successful because of the influence of lightness. The workings of this application take picture is by taking a picture and then the application identifies the color of any existing and will issue results in the form of text percent, with a success rate of 15% and 85% failure when detecting a color.

One of the diseases that can be detected through blood tests is Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). The number of platelets are one of the guidelines used by doctors diagnosing DHF. Actually, platelets can be calculated manually, but it will be very difficult if the platelets are counted quite a lot. So, we need a technology that can calculate the number of platelets quickly and automatized to get more accurate results.   The automatic systems built by using the template matching method with  image processing include HSL Segmentation with Luminance type and Reverse Color Manipulation. After building the system, the system will automatically look for objects that match the template in the sample image and then give the marking and calculate it.The overall system testing results are the number of platelets which are then classified manually at what degree of DHF.

This paper discusses the problem about the processing of the images collected by Vic-3D measurement system and the coordinate transformation between the pixel coordinate and plane coordinate. Correlation analysis on image information is carried out by using Matlab. Template matching method is used to get the pixel coordinates of the marked part on the images. Based on affine transformation and least square method, I transform the pixel coordinates of the marked part on the images into the plane coordinates.

Image processing technique in general, involves the application of signal processing on the input image for isolating the individual color plane of an image. It plays an important role in the image analysis and computer version. This paper compares the efficiency of two approaches in the area of finding breast cancer in medical image processing. The fundamental target is to apply an image mining in the area of medical image handling utilizing grouping guideline created by genetic algorithm. The parameter using extracted border, the border pixels are considered as population strings to genetic algorithm and Ant Colony Optimization, to find out the optimum value from the border pixels. We likewise look at cost of ACO and GA also, endeavors to discover which one gives the better solution to identify an affected area in medical image based on computational time.

AbstractLong-time preservation of manuscripts depends on the stability of their support. One of the most important degradation processes of paper manuscripts containing iron gall ink is the acid hydrolysis of cellulose. The heterogeneity of the distribution of their constituent materials, together with the defined position of ink as a source of degradation agents, makes it difficult to obtain reliable and detailed information about degradation processes. The aim of this study is to contribute to the knowledge of the acid degradation process by looking at the distribution of relevant variables (pH, acidity and alkaline reserve) on real untreated iron gall ink containing manuscripts at different degradation stages. The study discusses the well-known differences between surface and cold extraction pH determination. It corroborates the relationship between pH, acidity and alkalinity and degradation stages, pointing out that acidity values for some manuscripts in apparent good condition are not far from those obtained for degraded manuscripts. The results indicate that in some partially degraded manuscripts, the coexistence of acid areas and areas with an alkaline reserve which do not participate in the neutralization process is possible. The role of water as a solvent for this equilibrium has also been evaluated.

The mortality rate is increasing among the growing population and one of the leading causes is lung cancer. Early diagnosis is required to decrease the number of deaths and increase the survival rate of lung cancer patients. With the advancements in the medical field and its technologies CAD system has played a significant role to detect the early symptoms in the patients which cannot be carried out manually without any error in it. CAD is detection system which has combined the machine learning algorithms with image processing using computer vision. In this research a novel approach to CAD system is presented to detect lung cancer using image processing techniques and classifying the detected nodules by CNN approach. The proposed method has taken CT scan image as input image and different image processing techniques such as histogram equalization, segmentation, morphological operations and feature extraction have been performed on it. A CNN based classifier is trained to classify the nodules as cancerous or non-cancerous. The performance of the system is evaluated in the terms of sensitivity, specificity and accuracy

In the process of selecting Indonesian Workers (TKI) based on quality at PT. Adila Prezkifarindo Duta is classified as still manual, where there is not yet a system for selecting quality migrant workers so it requires a long time for its assessment and the selection process is less effective. To support decision making in the selection of qualified Indonesian Workers (TKI) to make it easier by using a decision support system. One method used in the selection of qualified Indonesian Workers is the Profile Matching method. The profile matching method is a decision-making mechanism by assuming that there is an ideal level of predictor variables that must be met by applicants, rather than the minimum level that must be met or passed. In the profile matching process a process will be compared between individual competencies into standard competencies so that different competencies can be identified (also called Gap). The smaller the gap produced, the greater the weight value. In matching this profile, the selected TKI candidates are Indonesian Workers who are closest to the ideal profile of a qualified TKI.
