The global trends in higher education highlight the growing popularity of international education shift towards innovation and better productivity that demand updated and high-quality human resources. And on the supply side, it creates pressure on families to send their children to educational institutions not only within the country but also abroad. In the context of Nepal, the trend of opening higher education institutions and students going abroad for study accelerated after 1990. Students enrolled in the country and abroad are establishing networks to work through the exchange of ideas and products in the global market. In this paper, I present the primary findings from my research on the economic impact of globalization on education in Nepal by using the supply side human resource data of student enrollment in higher education in the country and Nepali students abroad, and its impact on trade, migration, foreign direct investment and remittance to the national economy of Nepal. For this study, 20 years of secondary data of above mentioned variables have been analyzed with the help of the econometric method of causal relations. Results show a positive impact of globalization on the economy of Nepal. The findings will be useful for making policy recommendations to developing countries like Nepal to enhance education by grasping the opportunities globalization offers.

In an environment marked with phenomena such as globalization and creation, open innovation is critical for universities to cooperate with external resources and meet the requirements of the era. To investigate open innovation ecosystem of higher education, we use secondary data and interviews to analysis interactive model of Zizhu International Education Park from both internal and external perspectives. The analysis result suggests that the open innovation ecosystem could have positive effects on the development of higher education. It can contribute to deepening the integration of production, teaching, and research; improve the efficiency of scientific research transformation; and use this part of the income to supplement school funding. While the university–industry collaborative relationship could also be a limiting factor for it.

Tourism is designed to be a number one source of foreign exchange in Indonesia. But the development of toursm and tourist destination will definitely have an economic impact whether it’s positive impact or negative impact. As well as development in tourist destinationHidden Canyon Beji Guwang. This research aims to find out what is the participation of local community in the development of Hidden Canyon Beji Guwangand to find out what is the economic impactof it. The data used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data. Primary data source data and secondary data source. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Which is obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Informant determination is done bypurposive sampling technique.                   The results of this research is tourist destinationHidden Canyon Beji Guwangmanagement derived entirely from the participation of local communities in Desa Guwang. Education enhances knowledge base of the nation. It plays a vital role in development. Emerging global trends, new economic challenges and rapid growth of information technology has enlarged the focus on education making analyzing and assessing simultaneously several areas of performance essential and crucial. If Balance Score Card used by organizations to achieve excellence, is adopted in higher education by universities and higher educational institutions academic excellence could be attained. In addition, it can help them to utilize intangible assets more efficiently, ensure future growth and link long-term strategic planning to short-term, tactical actions. Adopting it would also provide a strong linkage between financial and operational measures, internal processes improvement and innovation activities. Thus, through in-depth literature review and grounded theory the aim of this paper is to give an overview of Balance Score Card, discuss its adoption in higher education by universities and higher education institutions.

This research aims to analyze the relationship and the influence of Human Resources, economic growth and potential retribution to acceptance of retribution market in the district of Klaten. The data used in this research is secondary data from Dinas Perindustrian, Perdagangan, Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil Mikro Menengah including data management market, Human Resource Data and Gross Regional Domestic Product. The population in this study is a traditional market in Klaten regency as many as 50 markets. Testing is done by using a multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis shows that the potential retribution significant and positive impact to acceptance of retribution market in the district of Klaten. While human resources and economic growth has no significant effect and has an inverse relationship the market acceptance of retribution.

Internationalizing higher education has long been on the agenda of most countries. The purpose of internationalization is to improve the quality and relevance of international standards. Given today’s interrelated and interdependent world, internationalization has proven to be a useful tool for higher educational institutions to benchmarking and improve innovative solutions for continuous challenges. Thus, higher education institutions need to strengthen their quality through its primary functions to reach a certain level of internationalization. This paper highlighted the most common practices of internationalization of higher education at the national and sector, institutional and faculty, and individual levels. With a view in identifying approaches and best practices in Malaysia, it is critically reviewed the relevant approaches to internationalization that are covered in the scholarly literature review from the past few decades. The review has revealed the chronology of international education – internationalization from the past until this century and its meaning that carries the concept of internationalization of higher education. The review also identified the approaches to internationalization which are the activity and process approach where has been applied in the internationalization of higher education stratification level. Therefore, this paper will catalyse the change in the understanding of the world that strongly focuses on internationalizing the higher institutions

<em>The research is analyzing the Impact of Capital Acumulation, Export, MEC, Inflation and Governace System on Indonesian Economic Growth. </em><em>The model tries to combine the supply side (capital accumulation and MEC) and the demand side (export and inflation), also by including government systems for predicting the factors affecting economic growth. The data used are secondary data obtained from BPS, BI and other data sources from 1987 to 2016 (except data from 1998, 1999, and 2000 due to data in that year's is extreme). To find out whether there is a difference in the phenomenon of economic growth in centralized systems with decentralize system used dummy variables.</em> <em>The results of the study showed that the model is significant in explaining changes in economic growth. The impact of capital accumulation on economic growth is positive significant, as well as the impact of exports. But the impact of MEC as well as of inflation on economic growth is not significant.  By seeing that the variable dummy has a significant positive impact on economic growth, it can be argued that economic growth in the decentralized system is better than the centralized.</em>

The COVID-19 pandemic has had profound consequences on the social, economic and cultural life at the global level. The educational dimension has also been affected in the schools’ regular functioning, with the temporary closure of educational institutions, as well as the impediment of face-to-face classes. This perspective paper aims to add to the knowledge already produced on this topic, by arguing that these challenging conditions can be a pivotal moment of opportunity for reshaping higher education, with the implementation, development and diffusion, among academics and students, of digital technologies. The paper also discusses the role of leadership in the transformation of organizational culture in higher education. The methodology used to carry out this study is qualitative, and the technique employed to analyze the data collected was content analysis. Research studies, in diverse formats, already published on the COVID-19 topic and its impacts were the elected data sources. The results of this document analysis allow us to conclude that there is the need to improve the digital sustainable development in teaching in higher education, which entails profound challenges that higher education institutions need to face and overcome if they want to be at the forefront of success in the international education market. This is where the authors seek to contribute, by offering insights on the challenges—but also the opportunities—that COVID-19 poses to higher education at a time when it needs to redefine its teaching methods, leadership models, and interaction channels, by going digital towards the improvement of the sustainable development of its teaching.

The growth of cities places urbanization as one of the 21st century’s most significant global trends. As urban populations in sub-Saharan Africa increase so do food insecurities. One long-term strategy used by households to improve access to nutritional food is to practice urban agriculture. This raises the question of what the impact might be on cities if urban farmers were better supported through training. This issue is important for women who play a strong role in urban farming. The central goals of this study are to analyze and evaluate the impact of urban agriculture based training on individual women. This study was informed by primary and secondary data. The findings are the result of in-depth qualitative research in Nairobi, Kenya. The research reveals that the urban agriculture training is having a positive impact on female participants. Recommendations to further enhance the impact of training on the female participants are discussed.

In order to achieve the goal, the Pearson Correlation is used and a multifactorial regression model (OLS) has been modified and adapted, where we have determined the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as depended variable and as independent variable in the model conclude: (i) Total public expenditure on education (ii) Public expenditure on Secondary Education and (iii) Public expenditure on Higher Education (University). The data used is secondary data from the Kosovo’s State Budget, Ministry of Finance and Transfers, and Kosovo Agency of Statistics. We come in conclusion that public spending dedicated to the Higher Education (University) has a positive impact on Kosovo's economic growth meanwhile the public spending on secondary education and total public expenditure on education in the model circumstances show no significance. The paper comes with further recommendations on public spending policies dedicated to education in order to influence Kosovo's economic growth.

Abstract The main aim of this study is to analyse the trend of public spending dedicated to education in case of Kosovo over the years and to measure the impact of public spending in education on economic growth of Kosovo. In order to achieve the aim, the Pearson Correlation has been used and a multifactorial regression model (OLS) has been modified and adapted, where we have determined the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as a dependent variable and as an independent variable in the model: (i) Public expenditure on secondary education and (ii) Public expenditure on higher education (university). The data used are secondary data from the Kosovo’s State Budget, Ministry of Finance and Transfers, and Kosovo Agency of Statistics. We have come to a conclusion that public spending dedicated to higher education (university) has a positive impact on Kosovo’s economic growth meanwhile public spending on secondary education does not show any effect. The paper suggests further recommendations on public spending policies dedicated to education in order to influence Kosovo’s economic growth.
