The study was aimed at describing the management function of extracurricular activities in Al Irsyad 01 Elementary School of Purwokerto along with supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of such activities. This is a qualitative descriptive research with case study as research approach. Data collection is done by in-depth interview, documentation, and participant observation. To maintain the validity of the data, this study uses extension opt-in techniques, observational persistence and triangulation. The findings of this study indicate the existence of an extracurricular activity program conducted by the school for one academic year, the existence of organizational structure on each type of extracurricular activities, including the process of planning, implemention, and evaluation of extracurricular activities.

This study attempts to investigate the use of peer tutoring and to assest the effectiveness of peer tutoring in accounting learning, State Polytechnic of Malang. A descriptive research approach with case study was employed in this research. The information gathered by documentation, observation and in depth interview. The accounting learning was done by the author with apllying same age peer tutoring (co-peer). The findings revealed that peer tutoring is a very effective learning strategy both to tutors and tutees. Tutors feels happy, proud, and satisfied when the lecturers trust them to give the material in front of their friends. Whereas the tutees feel more comfortable because the learning activities has become more relaxed and not strained, the students have been brave to ask more question. Peer tutoring has improve the academic achievement, communication skill, responsibilities, patience, empathy, sympathy, and strengthening the social skills both to tutors and tutees. As we know that these all skills were very needed in the world life. The author suggest that it should be utilized within the premises of the educational institutions. It is a must for polytechnic students to be equipped with such ability given that it has a great impact towards their future career development. The graduates are believed to be able to perform productively in the society with this ability, notwithstanding what contexts they are in. This is to assure that they would be able to function in line with the complex world of today.

This research aims to describe the construction and character education model in Mandailing and Angkola tribes in North Sumatra Province. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, a research method on individuals, groups, organizations, and specific institutions. Instruments or data collection tools used in this research are (1) observation; (2) in-depth interview; (3) document study. This research uses a method known as ethnography or participant observation. The result shows that Mandailing and Angkola tribes’ characters building through 1) Socialization, 2) Enculturation, and 3) Internalization. Socialization including education, clarification, and motivation. Meanwhile, enculturation including imitation, habituation, and evaluation. Construction of education in Mandailing and Angkola tribes through habits, traditions, culture, and Islamic values. Character building in children is an effort to encourage self-awareness and concern for tradition, culture, and preserve local wisdom to sustain from generation to generation. Also, several efforts to preserve culture have been made by collaborating with schools, traditional and religious leaders to combine local wisdom and culture into schools’ curriculum and extracurricular activities.

In this study, the researcher raised a learning method problem namely mutual Muroja’ah to read juz amma fluently for kindergarten students at TPQ Raudlatul Qur’an. In this study, researcher used a qualitative descriptive research approach with case study research. The data collection techniques used observation, test, interview and documentation. The analysis techniques used were a) data reduction, b) data display and c) conclusion making. As the result of the study are: a) the mutual muroja’ah method implementation was conducted by many ways such as guided muroja’ah, continuing verse muroja’ah and reading together, b) the method is very effective in helping students to read Alqur’an fluently, in terms of the results of evaluation test every three months that the percentage assessment result show that many students obtain grade B and even some students achieved grade A in terms of reading fluency

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan bagaimana perencanaan belajar mandiri mahasiswa, mendeskripsikan bagaimana mahasiswa mengevaluasi belajarnya sendiri, dan mendeskripsikan sumber belajar yang mahasiswa PGSD pilih dalam mencapai tujuan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi kasus. Kemandirian belajar mahasiswa PGSD FKIP Universitas Djuanda Bogor berdasarkan penilaian mahasiswa dan dosen dilihat dari aspek perencanaan belajar mandiri, pelaksanaan dan mengevaluasi hasil belajar sendiri maka diperoleh rata-rata persentase tingkat kemandirian belajar mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Djuanda Bogor berada pada tingkat tinggi dengan persentase 32,5% dan pada tingkat sedang dengan persentase 67,5%.KATA KUNCI: kemandirian belajar, PGSD, sumber belajar  THE INDEPENDENCE OF PGSD STUDENTS LEARNING BASED ON THE AVAILABILITY OF LEARNING RESOURCESABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to describe how student self-study planning, describe how students evaluate their own learning, and describe the learning resources that PGSD students select in achieving learning objectives. This research uses Qualitative Descriptive research approach. The type of research used is case study research. The independence of PGSD FKIP students of Djuanda University of Bogor based on the assessment of students and lecturers viewed from the aspect of independent study planning, implementation and evaluating the results of study itself, then obtained the average percentage level of student learning independence PGSD Djuanda University Bogor is at a high level with a percentage of 32.5% and at a moderate rate of 67.5%.

Penelitian  ini bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  perw ujudan nasionalisme  pada capas (calon   Paskibra)   yang   aktif   mengikuti   ekstrakurikuler   Paskibra.   Pendekatan penelitian  menggunakan  deskriptif  kualitatif  dengan jenis penelitian  studi kasus. Teknik    pengumpulan    data   menggunakan    teknik    dokumentasi,   observasi, w aw ancara, dan focus grup discussion. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman terdiri dari: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahw a perw ujudan sikap menjaga persatuan yang dimiliki  oleh  sisw a  yang  mengikuti  ekstrakurikuler  paskibra adalah:  menjaga kerukunan  dalam  berteman,  mengutamakan  kepentingan bersama,  menerapkan sikap saling menghargai, menerapkan sikap kerja sama tanpa membeda-bedakan suku dan agama, serta menjalin solidaritas dalam kelompok, kemudian perw ujudan sikap menghargai prestasi yang dimiliki oleh capas antara lain: berlatih keras untuk menjadi pemenang  dalam berbagai kegiatan di sekolah , menghargai kerja keras kepala  sekolah,  guru,  teman,  dan  semua yang  ada dalam  lingkungan  sekolah, menghargai temuan, ide, dan gagasan yang telah dihasilkan, memajang tanda-tanda penghargaan  dan prestasi,  memberikan penghargaan  atau hasil prestasi  kepada w arga sekolah. AbstractThis study aims to determine the embodiment of nationalism in capas (Paskibra candidates)  w ho  actively  participate  in  Paskibra  extracurricular.  The  research approach uses qualitative descriptive through case study research type. Data collection techniques used are documentation,  observation, interview , and focus group  discussion.  Data  analysis  techniques  used  is  the  Miles  and  Huberman models consisting of: data reduction, data presentation, and draw ing conclusions. The results of the study show ed the realization of attitude of maintaining unity by students   w ho   take   part   in  extracurricular   activities.   They  are:  maintaining friendship  in  friends,  prioritizing  common  interests,  applying  mutual  respect, applying cooperation w ithout discriminating betw een ethnicities and religions, and establishing  solidarity in groups. The attitude of embodying the achievements of capas  are:  practicing   hard   to  be  a  w inner  in  various  activities  at  scho ol, appreciating the hard w ork of the principal, teacher, friends, and all people in the school environment, appreciating the findings and ideas that have been generated, displaying   signs   of   appreciation   and   achievement,   and   giving   aw ards   or achievements to school.Keywords: Nationalism, Paskibra Extracurricular

This research focuses on how leadership has a major role in addressing environmental issues, especially through the garbage bank program as a form of case study. Furthermore, the problems that occur in the midst of society are often rely solely on political will or political desire to solve them. The research is to know and learn Lurah's (head of village) leadership in the management of waste banks specifically. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques through structured interviews, documentation and observations. Researchers conducted an analysis using leadership theory from Yukl, where the theory discusses leadership comprehensively. Researchers only focus on five parts of the concept that are considered relevant, namely: visionary, guidance, affiliative, democratic and communicative concepts. The results of this study based on these dimensions are good enough Lurah (head of village) leadership. But there are several things that are considered able to optimize the running of the program through the role of Lurah (Head of village) leadership, namely: first, involving active knots and community leaders such as MUI, academics to support scientific aspects, and professionals in the field of practical management. This research aims to describe the mistakes of the prospective teachers in solving the application of radian measurement problems and their causes. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The types of data collection in this research consisted of the results of the subject's work and transcripts of interviews with research subjects. By following the type of data, this research instrument consists of one question about the problem of applying radian measurement and interview guidelines developed by the researchers. Data analysis of the subject's work is carried out by classifying the types of errors to know the types of errors that arise in solving the problem of applying the radian measurements. While the transcript analysis of the interview results was carried out by coding the words to determine the factors causing the errors that appeared. The results of the research indicate that the error in solving the problem of applying the radian measurement are misconceptions and factual errors. This misconception is generally caused by intuitive thinking, while this factual error is generally caused by not paying careful attention to the information in the question. The solution to these errors is to analyze the elements of the circle that are interconnected in solving the problem of applying the radian measurements and to be careful in writing the information that is known in the question.

<div class="page" title="Page 1"><div class="layoutArea"><div class="column"><p>This study focuses on deliberative democracy practices in Caturtunggal village, specifically in the sub-village (<em>dusun</em>) of Seturan, Karangwuni, and Ambarukmo. The study assesses the quality of deliberation in these dusun by applying the three out of  five indicators of deliberative democracy theory by Fishkin (2009), namely information, subtantantive balance, and equal consideration. This study deploys qualitative descriptive method and case-study approach with in-depth interview as the main data gathering technique. This deliberation has put Village Consultative Board (BPD) period of 2013-2019 as a mediator and to consider arguments and deliberative results. Based on the indicators which proposed by Fishkin, Seturan and Ambarukmo are categorized for having semi-ideal deliberation, meanwhile Karangwuni is categorized as not ideal. The study also finds elite capture practices in Seturan and Karangwuni, but they do not impact significantly. </p></div></div></div>

Muzara’ah is the contract between farm workers and farm owners in which, cost of cultivations, seeds, and fertilizers are provided by the farm owners, meanwhile the farm workers have responsibility in giving their best efforts on cultivating the farmland. Later then, the harvest will be shared according to the contract that has been agreed. The purpose of this research is to describe farmer’s welfare in the village of Sodo after implementing Muzara’ah Contract with the Maqashid Sharia approach. This research approach is qualitative descriptive and uses case study as its strategy. Informants in this research are administrator from Krido Tani Farmers Association, The farm workers, and the farm owners. These informants determined by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques are carried out through interview and direct observation. According to the research, it was shown that agricultural cooperation with Muzara’ah Contract has a role in improving farm workers’ welfare, viewed from the indicators of Maqasid Sharia.Keywords : Muzara’ah, Welfare, Farmer, Agricultural Cooperation

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of videos called "Al-Mutho" videos on Haalatul Hadiiqoh material in third-grade students of elementary school. This is qualitative descriptive research and type of case study that aims to determine students' perceptions in using ‘Al-Mutho” videos. The results showed that students felt happier and eager to learn vocabulary (mufrodat) by using the video "Al-Mutho." Also, students are also able to remember ten new vocabulary words that are taught in one time face to face. This can be seen from the ability of students to answer the questions given quickly and precisely. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the video "Al-Mutho" can be used as an alternative media for mufrodat learning in Arabic for elementary schools.
