AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menggambar wajah dengan menggunakan teknik arsir. Pembatasan masalah dalam penelitian ini, kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menggambar wajah yang meliputi: aspek proporsi dan gelap terang. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Pollung. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel diambil secara acak keseluruhan kelas XI yang berjumlah sebelas kelas, pemilihan kelas dengan cara di undi dan dipilih tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada dalam populasi yaitu kelas XI IPA 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengetahui bagaimana hasil karya gambar wajah dengan menggunakan teknik arsir siswa SMA N 1 Pollung, setelah itu mendeskripsikan gambar yang diteliti dan dinilai, ditinjau dari aspek proporsi dan gelap terang yang telah ditentukan. Penilaian secara keseluruhan pada aspek proporsi mencapai nilai rata-rata 70 dan termasuk dalam kategori kurang baik, serta pada penerapan gelap terang mencapai nilai rata-rata 72 dan termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Maka dari 20 karya gambar wajah yang mencapai nilai KKM yaitu ada 10 karya atau 50 % dari 20 karya menggambar wajah. Dapat di simpulkan bahwa hasil karya siswa dalam menggambar wajah dengan menggunakan teknik arsir karya siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Pollung dapat dikatakan baik.Kata Kunci: menggambar wajah, proporsi, gelap terang.AbstractThis study aims to determine the ability of students to draw faces using shading techniques. Limitation of the problem in this study, the lack of students' ability to draw faces which includes: aspects of proportion and dark light. The population in this study is the entire class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Pollung. Samples were taken using the Random Sampling technique, Samples were randomly selected throughout class XI, amounting to eleven classes, class selection by lottery and selected without regard to strata in the population, namely class XI IPA 1. This study used a descriptive qualitative method by knowing how the results facial drawings using the shading technique of the students of SMA N 1 Pollung, after that describe the images studied and assessed, in terms of the proportions and dark light that have been determined. Overall assessment on the aspect of proportions reaches an average value of 70 and is included in the unfavorable category, and on the application of dark light reaches an average value of 72 and is included in the quite good category. So from the 20 works of face drawings that reach the KKM value that is 10 works or 50% of the 20 works of drawing faces. It can be concluded that the results of student work in drawing imaginary motifs using a demonstration method of the work of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Pollung can be said to be good. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil karya siswa yaitu dalam menggambar bentuk siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban berdasarkan  prinsip-prinsip seni rupa. Objek yang yang digambar adalah botol dan gelas. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh hasil karya gambar bentuk siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban yang berjumlah 124 karya. dan sampelnya yaitu 30 karya dengan menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengetahui bagaimana hasil karya gambar bentuk siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban terlebih dahulu, mendeskripsikan gambaran yang diteliti dan dinilai berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip seni rupa yang telah ditentukan.Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan karya yang dihasilkan berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip seni rupa memiliki kualitas yang cukup dengan nilai rata-rata = 62,13. Secara terperinci, nilai rata-rata berdasarkan kelima prinsip-prinsip seni rupa sebagai berikut: prinsip kesatuan = 63,71, prinsip proporsi  = 65, prinsip komposisi = 64, Prinsip keseimbangan = 59,22, dan prinsip terang gelap = 57,18.Kata Kunci: karya gambar bentuk, prinsip-prinsip seni rupa.AbstractThis study aims to find out the results of students' work, namely in drawing the form of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban based on the principles of fine arts. The objects that are drawn are bottles and glasses. The population in this study is all the drawings of students in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban, totaling 124 works. and the samples are 30 works using the Random Sampling technique. This study uses descriptive qualitative method by knowing how the results of the work of the VII grade students in SMP Negeri 1 Simangumban first, describe the picture that is researched and assessed based on predetermined art principles. The findings of this study indicate that the overall work produced based on the principles of fine art has sufficient quality with an average value = 62.13. In detail, the average value is based on the five principles of art as follows: principle of unity = 63.71, principle of proportion = 65, principle of composition = 64, principle of balance = 59.22, and principle of lightness = 57.18. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil karya menggambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias dengan teknik arsir ditinjau dari komposisi, Proporsi dan gelap terang karya siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungstitoli Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karya siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara dengan jumlah 144 karya dan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII-A yang berjumlah 29 karya dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis karya menggambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara rata-rata mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan total 25 Karya, sedangkan mendapatkan kategori Baik total 2 karya. Dan 2 karya siswa pada kategori Kurang. Pada hasil rekapitulasi nilai karya gambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias indikator Komposisi mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 78,9. Indikator Proporsi mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 78,6. Dan indikator Gelap-terang mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 79,9. Dengan demikian kelemahan hasil karya siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara terletak pada indikator Proporsi, dan  dari 29 karya siswa yang menonjol  adalah indikator Gelap Terang. Selanjutnya nilai terttinggi pada karya siswa dengan mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 86 pada karya nomor 23. Sedangkan nilai terendah pada karya siswa dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 74 pada karya nomor 28.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hasil karya gambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara dikatakan cukup baik, karena terdapat kelemahan penerapan indikator proporsi, namun nilai lebih pada indikator Komposisi dan Gelap Terang.Kata Kunci: hombo batu nias.AbstractThis study aims to analyze the work of drawing illustrations of Nias stone hombo with shading techniques in terms of composition, proportion and darkness of the work of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungstitoli Utara. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara with a total of 144 works and the study sample was class VIII-A, amounting to 29 works using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The results showed that the analysis of works drawing illustrations of Nias stone hombo class VIII-A students at SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara on average received the category of Enough with a total of 25 works, while getting the Good category a total of 2 works. And 2 students' work in the Less category. In the recapitulation of the value of the Nias stone hombo illustration illustration, the Composition indicator gets the Fair category with an average value of 78.9. Proportion Indicators get the Fair category with an average value of 78.6. And the Dark-light indicator gets the Fair category with an average score of 79.9. Thus the weaknesses of the work of VIII-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara are in the Proportion indicator, and of the 29 outstanding student works are Dark Light indicators. Furthermore, the highest value in the work of students by getting an average value of 86 in the work number 23. While the lowest value in the work of students with an average value of 74 in the work number 28. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the results of the Nias hombo illustration illustration works SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara is said to be quite good, because there are weaknesses in the application of the proportion indicator, but more value in the composition of the Dark and Composition indicator. This study aims to see the ability of students to apply decorative styles with the collage technique made from stickers in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Perbaungan based on the principles of fine arts, namely unity, balance, and rhythm. The theme used is flora with food jars as media. Based on the researchers 'initial observations, the students' decorative works using paint on paper media were still not optimal. As well as the lack of student knowledge in applying the principles of fine arts is a factor driving student work to be less than optimal. The population in this study was all class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Perbaungan with 277 students. The sample was 21 students of class VII-1 (superior) using the purposive sampling technique. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The findings of this study indicate that, in total, the application of the ornamental variety of class VII-1 collage techniques based on the principles of unity, balance, and rhythm has an average value of = 79.5 with a reasonably good category. In detail, the average value is based on the following three aspects: unity = 79.7 (good enough), balance = 79.5 (good enough), and rhythm = 79.3 (good enough) with performance indicators: unity, balance, and rhythm.

Abstract: Lack of practical activities in schools can result in a decrease in the creativity of students. worksheets based on the discovery learning model in them trigger students to think creatively and critically. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The purpose of this study is to look at the improvement of skills competencies which are assisted by student worksheets based on the discovery learning model. The data analysis technique is testing hypotheses where there is a difference which means the use of this student worksheet. Hypothesis testing conditions are to carry out normality tests for skill scores from both sample classes and homogeneity tests to see the distribution of values from two sample classes that have homogeneous data. after treatment is obtained, the average value of the skills of the experimental class is 78.62 and for the control class is 70.10.Abstrak: Kurangnya kegiatan praktikum di sekolah dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kreativitas siswa. lembar kerja berbasis model discovery learning di dalamnya memicu siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan kritis. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan kompetensi keterampilan yang dibantu oleh lembar kerja siswa berdasarkan pada model pembelajaran penemuan. Teknik analisis data menguji hipotesis di mana ada perbedaan yang berarti penggunaan lembar kerja siswa ini. syarat pengujian hipotesis adalah untuk melakukan tes normalitas untuk skor keterampilan dari kedua kelas sampel dan tes homogenitas untuk melihat distribusi nilai dari dua kelas sampel yang memiliki data homogen. setelah perawatan diperoleh, nilai rata-rata keterampilan dari kelas eksperimen adalah 78,62 dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah 70,10.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh penguasaan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa terhadap hasil belajar menggambar flora. Objek yang digambar adalah pohon. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII SMP Swasta AL-ULUM Medan dengan sampel 3 karya siswa dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel yang akan diambil dengan menggunakan Pretest dan Posttest agar dapat terlihat perbedaan dengan penguasaan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan gambaran yang diteliti dan dinilai berdasarkan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa yang telah ditentukan yaitu garis, bentuk, warna, gelap terang, proporsi dan karakter objek. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan  karya yang dihasilkan berdasarkan prinsip dan unsur seni rupa terdapat pengaruh yang cukup signifikan dilihat dari hasil karya Pretest dan Posttest.Kata Kunci: prinsip, unsur, seni rupa.AbstractThis study aims to prove the influence of mastery of the principles and elements of fine arts on flora learning outcomes. The object drawn is a tree. The population in this study is grade VII Medan AL-ULUM Junior High School with a sample of 3 student work using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Samples to be taken using Pretest and Posttest so that differences can be seen with the mastery of the principles and elements of fine arts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by describing the images studied and assessed based on predetermined fine art principles and elements, namely lines, shapes, colors, light darkness, proportions and character of objects. The findings of this study indicate that overall the work produced is based on the principles and elements of art there is a significant influence seen from the work of Pretest and Posttest.  Keywords: principles, elements, fine art.

This study aims to determine the work of students in drawing shapes based on the principles of fine art. The objects drawn are fruit and fruit baskets. The population of this study were all students of class X with a total of 324 students, and the sample was 36 students' work. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the overall work produced by applying the principles of fine arts has a fairly good score with an average score of = 81.86 in the category C (good enough) on the principle of unity. Then in the principle of composition an average value of = 80.35 in the category C value (good enough), then on the principle of perspective, the average value = 81.67 in the category C value (good enough) and the principle of dark-light fine acquisition value = 82.15 in the category of value (good enough). So from that the overall acquisition of an average value = 81.51 in the category C value (good enough).

The ability to understand the meaning relationship is the ability to understand the relationship of meaning in sentences which include synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, homographs, homophones, hyponyms; hypernIM, and polysemia. This study aims to find out and describe how the level of students' ability to understand the relationship of meaning in sentences in the aspects above. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, while the technique of collecting data is multiple choice objective test techniques. The population in this study amounted to 218 students and the study sample was set at 54 people. The sampling technique used is the stratified proportional random sampling technique. The results showed that overall, the level of ability to understand meaning relations in the sentence of class XI Even semester of SMK Persada Bandar Lampung was categorized enough with an average score of 68.59. For each aspect, the level of students' ability is as follows: ability of synonymy in good category (77%), ability to understand antonyms in good categories (73.59%), ability to understand homonyms in good categories (73.70), ability to understand homophones in good categories ( 72.18%), the ability to understand homographs is in the less category (50.35), the ability to understand hyponyms is in the good category (77.74%), the ability to understand hypernimms is in a sufficient category (62.33), and the ability to understand polysemi in the less category (59.62%).

This study aims to determine the students' ability to draw illustrations in applying the work of drawing illustrations in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Medan based on proportions, perspectives and lighting. With the theme of the atmosphere of activities commemorating Indonesia's independence day. The population in this study were all students' works of class VIII SMP Muhamadiyah 7 Medan, namely all students' works and the sample was 21 students' works of class VIII-1 using the purposive sampling technique. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to find out how the work of illustration images by class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Medan is viewed from the perspective of proportion, perspective and lighting. The findings of this study indicate that the overall ability of class VIII-1 students in drawing illustrations based on proportion, perspective and lighting has a good category with an average value (r) = 85.

Abstract: This study uses the type of Quasy Experiment Design with the design of Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The study used two classes as the experimental class and the control class. The study population was VII grade students. The sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. Based on data analysis and discussion, there are differences in the average value of learning outcomes (posttest) between learning using the advanced organizer and conventional learning models, from the results of the t test also known that 0.044 <0.05 which means H0 is rejected which indicates the influence of the model advanced organizer learning on students' creative thinking abilities.Abstrak: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Quasy Eksperiment Design dengan rancangan desain Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian menggunakan dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dengan cara Cluster Random Sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan, terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar (postest) antara pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran advanced organizer dan konvensional, dari hasil perhitungan uji t juga diketahui bahwa 0,044 < 0,05 yang berarti H0 ditolak yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran advanced organizer terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.

This study dealt with figurative language in Amir Hamzah’s selected poems. The objective of this study were to investigate the types of figurative language found in Amir Hamzah’s selected poems and to find out the literal meaning of figurative language found. This study was conducted by using qualitative method to solve the problems. The data of this study were phrases and sentences contained figurative language in the poems. The sources of data were six poems poems which had multiple series taken from Amir Hamzah’s Poetry Anthology of Buah Rindu. The data were selected by using random sampling technique. For collecting the data, this study used documentary technique, and the instruments of data were documentary sheets. The data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method. The findings of this study are there twenty two figurative languages found as follows, three figurative language of metaphor (13.63%), seven figurative language of hyperbole (31.81%), five figurative language of personification (22.72%) and seven figurative language of simile (31.83%). The literal meaning of figurative language found in Amir Hamzah’s poems were basically was about the love story of Amir himself and also talking about his longing to his mother.Keywords : Figurative Language, Figure of Speech, Poem
