This study aims to (1) analyze Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share on mathematics learning achievement, (2) analyze the level of students 'reasoning towards mathematics learning achievement, and (3) determine the interaction of Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share and the level of students' reasoning on mathematics learning achievement. This type of research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. All grade VIII students of State Junior High School 1 Sambi were the population of this study. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, 31 experimental  and 32 control students, with a sampling technique using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques using documentation, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the ANOVA technique. Two ways with different cells. The results of the study with a significance level of 5% are (1) there is a good effect using Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share on students 'mathematics learning achievement, (2) there is a good effect of reasoning on students' mathematics learning achievement, and (3) there is no interaction between Discovery Learning. Think Pair Share setting and students' reasoning. Therefore, it is concluded that mathematics learning achievement can be influenced by Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share and reasoning. Keywords: Discovery learning setting think pair share; mathematics learning outcomes; reasoning. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, (2) menganalisis tingkat penalaran siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, dan (3) mengetahui interaksi Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan tingkat penalaran siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment. Seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sambi menjadi populasi penelitian ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas dengan 31 siswa eksperimen dan 32 siswa kontrol, dan pengambilan teknik sampling menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik ANAVA dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% adalah (1) ada pengaruh baik menggunakan Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, (2) ada pengaruh baik penalaran terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, dan (3) tidak ada interaksi antara Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan penalaran siswa. Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa prestasi belajar matematika dapat dipengaruhi oleh Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan penalaran. Kata Kunci: Discovery learning setting think pair share; penalaran; prestasi belajar matematika.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas masing-masing kategori model pembelajaran, motivasi belajar siswa dan interaksinya terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Madiun yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Penentuan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes dan metode angket. Uji hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan anava dua jalan sel tak sama dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Artikulasi lebih baik dari model pembelajaran Talking Stick, (2) jika ditinjau dari masing-masing tingkatan motivasi belajar, siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi prestasi belajarnya jauh lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar sedang maupun rendah dan (3) model pembelajaran Artikulasi lebih efektif dari model pembelajaran Talking Stick untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, untuk setiap tingkat motivasi belajar siswa.Abstract:  The aims of this research were to find out the effectivennes of each categories of learning model, motivation to study and their interaction towards student mathematics learning achievement. The population was all students of grade VIII Five Junior High School of Madiun City consisted of four class. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. The hypothesis test used unbalanced two ways analysis of variance at the significance level of 0.05. The conclution of this research that (1) the model of Articulation learning gives a better mathematics achievement than model of Talking Stick learning, (2) students with the high motivation to study had better achievement than students with the medium and low motivation to study, and (3) the model of Articulation learning was more effective than the model of Talking Stick learning to enhance students mathematics learning achievement for each level of students motivation to study.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, jumlah siswa yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu, kuisioner kecerdasan emosional dan dokumentasi prestasi belajar dari nilai rapor. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi r = 0,417. Nilai rtabel = 0,297 untuk N = 44 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai rhitung (0,417) > rtabel (0,297) maka diputuskan menerima hipotesis alternatif (H1) dan menolak hipotesis awal (H0). Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) manakah yang memberikan prestasi belajar yang lebih baik, metode ceramah atau metode diskusi; (2) manakah yang memiliki prestasi belajar yang lebih baik, mahasiswa laki-laki atau perempuan; (3) pada masing-masing model pembelajaran, manakah yang mempunyai prestasi belajar yang lebih baik, mahasiswa laki-laki atau perempuan; (4) pada masing-masing jenis kelamin, manakah yang memberikan prestasi yang lebih baik, metode ceramah atau metode diskusi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa semester 5 di kelas pagi Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika IKIP-PGRI Pontianak. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik stratified cluster random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 68 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi metode dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan nilai MID mata kuliah Matematika Ekonomi tahun akademik 2015/2016 sebagai data kemampuan awal dan nilai UAS mata kuliah Matematika Ekonomi untuk data prestasi belajar matematika mahasiswa. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. (1) Pembelajaran matematika ekonomi menggunakan metode ceramah menghasilkan prestasi belajar matematika yang sama dengan metode diskusi. (2) Mahasiswa laki-laki maupun perempuan memiliki prestasi belajar matematika yang sama. (3) Pada masing-masing metode pembelajaran, mahasiswa laki-laki maupun perempuan memiliki prestasi belajar matematika yang sama. (4) Pada masing-masing jenis kelamin, pembelajaran matematika ekonomi menggunakan metode ceramah dan metode diskusi menghasilkan prestasi belajar matematika yang sama. Kata kunci: metode ceramah, metode diskusi, jenis kelamin Abstract The aims of this study were to investigate: (1) which learning method produces student’s better mathematics learning achievement, speech method or discussion method; (2) which student’s have better mathematics learning achievement, male or female; (3) viewed from learning methods, which student’s have better mathematics learning achievement, male or female; (4) viewed from gender, which learning method produces better mathematics learning achievement, speech method or discussion method. This research used quasi experimental method with its population included all of students of 5th semester in morning class Program Study of Mathematics Education IKIP-PGRI Pontianak. Sampling was done by stratified cluster random sampling technique. The size of the sample was 68 students. The data collection technique was include the documentation method to get the 2015/2016 MID Test of Economy Mathematics subject for initial capability data before the experiment and Final test of Economy Mathematics subject for mathematics student’s achievement data. The data was analyzed using analysis of variance. Based on these results it can be concluded as follows. (1) Economy mathematics learning using speech method produced the same mathematics achievement as using discussion method. (2) For male or female students have the same mathematics achievement. (3) Viewed from learning method, male or female students have the same mathematics achievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran  discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika ditinjau dari minat belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain 2x2 faktorial. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri di Kota Rantepao, tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas tujuh SMP Negeri Rantepao dan sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dengan jumlah anggota sampel sebanyak 78 siswa.  Model pembelajaran sebagai variabel bebas, minat belajar sebagai variabel intervening, dan hasil belajar matematika siswa sebagai variabel respon. Model pembelajaran discovery learning digunakan pada kelompok perlakuan, dan model pembelajaran langsung digunakan pada kelompok pembanding. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar matematika dan skala minat belajar dan digunakan ANAVA dua jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran dan minat belajar mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, dan (2) model pembelajaran discovery learning lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran langsung. Kata kunci: model discovery learning, model langsung, minat belajar, hasil belajar matematika siswa. ABSTRACT The major objective of this research was to investigate the effects of applying discovery learning on mathematics achievement in terms of student's learning interest. The research methodology was a quasi-experimental and the design of the research was a 2x2 factorial. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri in Rantepao City in academic year 2014/2015. The population of research was made up of all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri Rantepao from where a sample of 78 students was obtained by using cluster random sampling technique. Learning model as the independent variable, student's learning interest as intervening variable, and mathematics achievement of student as response variable. The treatment class group taught by using Discovery learning model. While the comparison group was taught by Direct Instruction. The data were collected using the mathematics learning test instrument and learning interest scale. The data collected were analyzed with two way ANOVA. The findings showed that: (1) learning model and interest in learning have an effect on student learning outcomes, and (2) Discovery learning model is better than Direct Instruction. Mathematics learning achievement is the learning outcome/ability achieved by students during and after completing mathematics lessons where the results are expressed in the form of numbers or other symbols. Learning achievement is influenced by several factors including family economic background and parental support. This research is quantitative research, the study population was all VII grade students of Boawae 1 Junior High School totaling 101 students. Sampling using simple random sampling, where researchers about 24% of the population to be selected as samples, so that the study sample amounted to 24 students. The stages of this research are data collection using a questionnaire then analyzing the data using Pearson product moment correlation. The data collection process uses questionnaire techniques. Research data were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation. Based on this study, it can be concluded that There is an insignificant relationship between the family's economic background on the mathematics learning achievement because the value of rcount is 0.242 smaller rtable at a significant level of 5% that is 0.404 and there is a relationship between parental support for mathematics learning achievement because the rcount of 0.747 is greater than rtable at a significant level of 5% which is 0.404 and there is a jointrelationship between the family's economic background and parental support for mathematics learning achievement because the Fcount value of 14.701 is greater than Ftable at the 5% significance level of 3.47.

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on the learning achievement of class VIII junior high school. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study is all students of class VIII SMP N 2  Kupang and the research sample is class VIII D students with the sampling technique is simple ramdom sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and mathematics learning achievement tests. Data analysis was carried out in two ways, namely the SPSS program. From the results of the analysis, based on the tests of normality, linearity, significance, emotional intelligence has an influence on mathematics learning achievement and was obtained by equation of regression Y = 0,642X and t-count = 4.272 > 2, 052 = t table then, a push H0, it means that there is a significant effect of emotional intelligence on learning achievement. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that there was a significant effect of emotional intelligence on mathematics learning achievement of class VIII students of SMPN 2 Kota Kupang.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran yang dibandingkan adalah PBL dan kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimental dan populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di Kabupaten Nganjuk pada tahun akademik 2016/2017. Ukuran sampel adalah 68 siswa, yang terambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah tes prestasi matematika. Uji hipotesis menggunakan varian uji rerata z. Hasil penelitian tersebut adalah sebagai berikut. Prestasi belajar matematika yang diajarkan oleh Problem Based Learning dan Snowball Throwing menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang sama. kata kunci : Problem Based Learning, kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing dan prestasi belajar. Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of learning models on student achievement. The compared learning model is PBL and cooperative type Snowball Throwing. The type of research is quasi experimental research and the population of this research is the students of class VIII in Nganjuk Regency in academic year 2016/2017. The sample size was 68 students, taken with cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection is a mathematics achievement test. Hypothesis test using the mean test variant z. The results of the study are as follows. Mathematics learning achievement taught by Problem Based Learning and Snowball Throwing resulted in the same learning achievement keyword : Problem Based Learning, Snowball Throwing and Achievement.

PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN IPA BERBASIS CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP KREATIVITAS SISWA SMPAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis creative problem solving (CPS) terhadap kemampuan kreatif siswa kelas VII SMP di Gunungkidul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi siswa kelas VII SMP di Kabupaten Gunungkidul yang masih menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 pada Semester 2 Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Sampel sebanyak tiga sekolah yang ditentukan berdasarkan stratified cluster random sampling, yakni SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari untuk sekolah kategori tinggi, SMP Negeri 1 Semin untuk sekolah kategori sedang, dan SMP Negeri 1 Paliyan untuk sekolah kategori rendah. Penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol pada masing-masing sekolah dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model berbasis CPS dan kelas kontrol diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran dengan model discovery learning. Variabel Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan kreativitas adalah tes uraian terbuka. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sample independent. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif pembelajaran IPA berbasis CPS terhadap kemampuan kreativitas siswa.Kata kunci: creative problem solving, discovery learning,kreativitasAbstractThis study was aimed at analyzing the effects of creative problem solving-based learning on the creative abilitIES of seventh-grade students in Gunungkidul. The study used a quasi experimental method with the population of seventh-grade students of the junior high school in Gunungkidul Regency that applied Curriculum 2013 in Semester 2 of the Academic Year 2015/2016. The samples were determined by stratified cluster random sampling including SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari for the high school category, SMP Negeri 1 Semin for the medium school category, and SMP Negeri 1 Paliyan for the low school category. The determination of the experiment and control class in each school was done by cluster random sampling technique. The experimental classeswere given treatment using creative problem solving-based learning while the control classes were given treatment using the discovery learning model. The instrument was an open-ended test used to measure the creativity level of the students. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The results show that there was a positive effect of creative problem solving-based learning on students’ creative abilities.Keywords: creative problem solving, discovery learning,students’ creativity

Abstract: Lack of practical activities in schools can result in a decrease in the creativity of students. worksheets based on the discovery learning model in them trigger students to think creatively and critically. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The purpose of this study is to look at the improvement of skills competencies which are assisted by student worksheets based on the discovery learning model. The data analysis technique is testing hypotheses where there is a difference which means the use of this student worksheet. Hypothesis testing conditions are to carry out normality tests for skill scores from both sample classes and homogeneity tests to see the distribution of values from two sample classes that have homogeneous data. after treatment is obtained, the average value of the skills of the experimental class is 78.62 and for the control class is 70.10.Abstrak: Kurangnya kegiatan praktikum di sekolah dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kreativitas siswa. lembar kerja berbasis model discovery learning di dalamnya memicu siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan kritis. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan kompetensi keterampilan yang dibantu oleh lembar kerja siswa berdasarkan pada model pembelajaran penemuan. Teknik analisis data menguji hipotesis di mana ada perbedaan yang berarti penggunaan lembar kerja siswa ini. syarat pengujian hipotesis adalah untuk melakukan tes normalitas untuk skor keterampilan dari kedua kelas sampel dan tes homogenitas untuk melihat distribusi nilai dari dua kelas sampel yang memiliki data homogen. setelah perawatan diperoleh, nilai rata-rata keterampilan dari kelas eksperimen adalah 78,62 dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah 70,10.
