Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, jumlah siswa yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu, kuisioner kecerdasan emosional dan dokumentasi prestasi belajar dari nilai rapor. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi r = 0,417. Nilai rtabel = 0,297 untuk N = 44 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai rhitung (0,417) > rtabel (0,297) maka diputuskan menerima hipotesis alternatif (H1) dan menolak hipotesis awal (H0). Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. This correlational research aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, independent learning and learning creativity with the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Blahbatuh. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires and tests. The sample used is a number of 80 people who are determined by the cluter random sampling technique. Hypothesis test used is simple and multiple regression with a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 46%. There is a significant relationship between independent learning and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 39%. There is a significant relationship between creativity and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 64%. There is an influence between emotional intelligence, independent learning and learning creativity with mathematics learning outcomes of students with a relative contribution of 62%.

This study aims to (1) analyze Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share on mathematics learning achievement, (2) analyze the level of students 'reasoning towards mathematics learning achievement, and (3) determine the interaction of Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share and the level of students' reasoning on mathematics learning achievement. This type of research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. All grade VIII students of State Junior High School 1 Sambi were the population of this study. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, 31 experimental  and 32 control students, with a sampling technique using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques using documentation, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the ANOVA technique. Two ways with different cells. The results of the study with a significance level of 5% are (1) there is a good effect using Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share on students 'mathematics learning achievement, (2) there is a good effect of reasoning on students' mathematics learning achievement, and (3) there is no interaction between Discovery Learning. Think Pair Share setting and students' reasoning. Therefore, it is concluded that mathematics learning achievement can be influenced by Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share and reasoning. Keywords: Discovery learning setting think pair share; mathematics learning outcomes; reasoning. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, (2) menganalisis tingkat penalaran siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, dan (3) mengetahui interaksi Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan tingkat penalaran siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment. Seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sambi menjadi populasi penelitian ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas dengan 31 siswa eksperimen dan 32 siswa kontrol, dan pengambilan teknik sampling menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik ANAVA dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% adalah (1) ada pengaruh baik menggunakan Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, (2) ada pengaruh baik penalaran terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, dan (3) tidak ada interaksi antara Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan penalaran siswa. Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa prestasi belajar matematika dapat dipengaruhi oleh Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan penalaran. Kata Kunci: Discovery learning setting think pair share; penalaran; prestasi belajar matematika.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas masing-masing kategori model pembelajaran, motivasi belajar siswa dan interaksinya terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Madiun yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Penentuan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes dan metode angket. Uji hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan anava dua jalan sel tak sama dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Artikulasi lebih baik dari model pembelajaran Talking Stick, (2) jika ditinjau dari masing-masing tingkatan motivasi belajar, siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi prestasi belajarnya jauh lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar sedang maupun rendah dan (3) model pembelajaran Artikulasi lebih efektif dari model pembelajaran Talking Stick untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, untuk setiap tingkat motivasi belajar siswa.Abstract:  The aims of this research were to find out the effectivennes of each categories of learning model, motivation to study and their interaction towards student mathematics learning achievement. The population was all students of grade VIII Five Junior High School of Madiun City consisted of four class. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. The hypothesis test used unbalanced two ways analysis of variance at the significance level of 0.05. The conclution of this research that (1) the model of Articulation learning gives a better mathematics achievement than model of Talking Stick learning, (2) students with the high motivation to study had better achievement than students with the medium and low motivation to study, and (3) the model of Articulation learning was more effective than the model of Talking Stick learning to enhance students mathematics learning achievement for each level of students motivation to study.

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on the learning achievement of class VIII junior high school. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study is all students of class VIII SMP N 2  Kupang and the research sample is class VIII D students with the sampling technique is simple ramdom sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and mathematics learning achievement tests. Data analysis was carried out in two ways, namely the SPSS program. From the results of the analysis, based on the tests of normality, linearity, significance, emotional intelligence has an influence on mathematics learning achievement and was obtained by equation of regression Y = 0,642X and t-count = 4.272 > 2, 052 = t table then, a push H0, it means that there is a significant effect of emotional intelligence on learning achievement. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that there was a significant effect of emotional intelligence on mathematics learning achievement of class VIII students of SMPN 2 Kota Kupang.

Abstract. This study aims to describe the effect of emotional intelligence, parents’ attention, and mathematics learning habits on students' achievement in mathematics, both simultaneously and partially. This study is an ex post facto research that is correlational. The subjects of the study were students of Class XI of SMK 1 Tomoni. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results showed that there was a positive effect of emotional intelligence, parents’ attention, and mathematics learning habits on students' achievement in mathematics, both simultaneously and partially. Keywords: emotional intelligence, parents’ attention, mathematics learning habits, students' achievement in mathematics. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, perhatian orang tua, dan kebiasaan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post facto yang bersifat korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Tomoni. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kecerdasan emosional, perhatian orang tua, dan kebiasaan belajar matematika terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Kata kunci: kecerdasan emosional, perhatian orang tua, kebiasaan belajar matematika, prestasi belajar matematika.

The purpose of this research to describe self control and truant behavior students and examine the relationship between self control with the behavior of truant students. This research applied quantitative method and descriptive correlational design, with a sample of 234 students,  that drawn by Propotional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument of this research was a scale of Likert model. Hypothesis testing of research using the formula Pearson Product Moment Correlation with SPSS for mindows release 20.00. The results showed: (1) on average,  the truant behavior of class X and XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang was 19.86 hours of lessons in 2 months, (2) on average,  class X and XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang self control was 108.24 at the high category, (3) there was significant negative of self-control with truant behavior of students, with a correlation coefficient -0.289  significance level 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. This research can be used as an analysis of the needs of students for the teacher of guidance and counseling for the manufacture of guidance and counseling services programs at SMA Negeri 7 Padang.

The purposed to find out the relationship between the knowledge about implant and implant contraceptive used of acceptors at BPS Farohah Gresik. Implant is one of hormone contraceptive methode with high effectiveness. But, know fact that there were acceptors refused to use implant. The caused factor is the less off acceptors knowledge about implant. Therefore, this research was purposed to find out the relationship between the knowledge about implant and implant contraceptive used of acceptors at BPS Farohah Gresik. The type of this research was analytic by cross sectional methode. The population involved 42 acceptors of hormonal contraceptive who attended on June at BPS Farohah Gresik. 38 respondents were taken as the samples using simple random sampling technique. The independent variable was knowledge where as, the dependent one was the used of implant. Questionnaires was used to collect the data. Analyzed by using MannWhitney test with the significance level α = 0,05. The result of this research showed that most of respondents (60,5%) had less knowledge and almost all respondents (89,5%) did not use implant. Furthermore, the statistic test has obtarned p = 0,039 < α = 0,05. So H0 was refused that there was a relationship between knowledge about implant and the used of implant contraceptive at BPS Farohah Gresik. The research concluded that the less of acceptors knowledge about implant. The used of this contraceptive is vower. Hence, the health workers should improve the counselling and implant extension to people.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) manakah yang memberikan prestasi belajar yang lebih baik, metode ceramah atau metode diskusi; (2) manakah yang memiliki prestasi belajar yang lebih baik, mahasiswa laki-laki atau perempuan; (3) pada masing-masing model pembelajaran, manakah yang mempunyai prestasi belajar yang lebih baik, mahasiswa laki-laki atau perempuan; (4) pada masing-masing jenis kelamin, manakah yang memberikan prestasi yang lebih baik, metode ceramah atau metode diskusi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa semester 5 di kelas pagi Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika IKIP-PGRI Pontianak. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik stratified cluster random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 68 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi metode dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan nilai MID mata kuliah Matematika Ekonomi tahun akademik 2015/2016 sebagai data kemampuan awal dan nilai UAS mata kuliah Matematika Ekonomi untuk data prestasi belajar matematika mahasiswa. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. (1) Pembelajaran matematika ekonomi menggunakan metode ceramah menghasilkan prestasi belajar matematika yang sama dengan metode diskusi. (2) Mahasiswa laki-laki maupun perempuan memiliki prestasi belajar matematika yang sama. (3) Pada masing-masing metode pembelajaran, mahasiswa laki-laki maupun perempuan memiliki prestasi belajar matematika yang sama. (4) Pada masing-masing jenis kelamin, pembelajaran matematika ekonomi menggunakan metode ceramah dan metode diskusi menghasilkan prestasi belajar matematika yang sama. Kata kunci: metode ceramah, metode diskusi, jenis kelamin Abstract The aims of this study were to investigate: (1) which learning method produces student’s better mathematics learning achievement, speech method or discussion method; (2) which student’s have better mathematics learning achievement, male or female; (3) viewed from learning methods, which student’s have better mathematics learning achievement, male or female; (4) viewed from gender, which learning method produces better mathematics learning achievement, speech method or discussion method. This research used quasi experimental method with its population included all of students of 5th semester in morning class Program Study of Mathematics Education IKIP-PGRI Pontianak. Sampling was done by stratified cluster random sampling technique. The size of the sample was 68 students. The data collection technique was include the documentation method to get the 2015/2016 MID Test of Economy Mathematics subject for initial capability data before the experiment and Final test of Economy Mathematics subject for mathematics student’s achievement data. The data was analyzed using analysis of variance. Based on these results it can be concluded as follows. (1) Economy mathematics learning using speech method produced the same mathematics achievement as using discussion method. (2) For male or female students have the same mathematics achievement. (3) Viewed from learning method, male or female students have the same mathematics achievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh: kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan spritual, minat belajar, dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode Expost facto dengan pendekatan assosiatif kausal. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 917 siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Se Kabupaaten Ende. Sampel sebanyak 400 siswa ditentukan dengan teknik Stratified random sampling. Data kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan spritual, minat belajar dan lingkungan keluarga dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner sedangkan data hasil belajar dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar. Pengujian validitas dilakukan dengan Expert judgment dan Confirmatory Factor Analisis (CFA) sedangkan pengujian reabilitas menggunakan Cronbach Alpa (α). Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut : secara parsial kecerdasan emosional memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, kecerdasan spritual memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, minat belajar tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, lingkungan keluarga memberi pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Sedangkan secara simultan faktor tersebut memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar.Kata kunci: kecedasan emosional, kecerdasan spritual, minat belajar, lingkungan keluarga, hasil belajar ekonomi. FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE OUTCOME STUDIED ECONOMICS AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis research aims to reveal the effect of: emotional intelligence, spritual intelligence, learning interest, and family background on the learning achievement in economics, partially or simultaneously. This type research is a quantitative research and using ex post facto belongs to causal associative approach. The research population was 917 students of clas IX social science senior high school in Ende Regency. A sample of  400 students was esthabilshed using the stratified random sampling technique. The data of emotional intelligence, spritual intelligence, learning interest, and family background were gathered by using a questionnare, while the data of learning achievement were gathered by using a the tes. Validitas test is carried out by Expert judgement and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) while testing the reabilitas using a Cronbach Alpha (α). Double regression was used for statictic analysing the data. The Results of the study are as follows: partially emotional intelligence give influence on the results of the study, spiritual intelligence give influence on the results of the study, the learning interest in not giving effect on the results of the study, family environment gives the effect on the results of the study. This research is an Ex-post Facto research with a quantitative approach and a comparative causal research design. This study aims to determine whether there is a parenting effect toward students mathematics learning achievement on grade VII students of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa. The population used in this study were all students on grade VII of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa, there are 349 students. The sample in this study was 64 students. Sampling using a random sampling technique. Data collection used the questionnaire and documentation method. Before data analysis, first do testing of the analysis requirements includes the normality and homogeneity tests. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is Analysis  Variant (ANOVA) with one way type (One Way Anova). The results showed that there was a parenting effect toward students mathematics learning achievement on grade VII students of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa. This is indicated by the value of Fcount (31.375)>Ftable (3.32) and the Sig value is 0.000 <0.05 which means that there are significant differences in mean of all parenting groups.
