Abstract Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, creativity, learning, and technology became guiding lights for the debate on transforming conceptions and practices within education systems around the world. Given creativity’s intersubjective and agentic nature, it can work as an invaluable resource when promoting learning in formal and informal educational settings. Notwithstanding, these same features make it a challenge to know the conditions under which creativity development can be propelled through technology in educational contexts. Moreover, the technological revolution seems to have accelerated the pace of contemporary societies, often demanding rapid responses to creative challenges. Yet, from a developmental and constructivist standpoint, creativity is embedded in an intricate matrix where individual and sociocultural influences interact to help construct new ways of “worldmaking”. Thus, it can be envisioned as an attribute of the complexity of a psychological subject’s sociocognitive-emotional structures, whose development occurs in the interstitial space between self, others and the world, requiring time to manifest. Considering that technology modifies the person’s relation, action, construction of world(s), of others and self, we intend to discuss the mode and extent to which it can effectively be inscribed into education to promote the development of creativity. In this conceptual paper, we explore the impact on the continuous process of worldmaking (from where creativity blooms) of moving towards an ever-growing technological society, capable of innovative answers to the pandemic (e.g., distance learning) and other unpredictable challenges. We conclude by discussing how the so-called (re)constructive exploration pedagogies can be aligned with technology-based educational programs – capitalizing on their potential to transform human thinking, (inter)acting, and experiencing-, to nurture the development of creativity in education.

The appearance of COVID-19 brought to Brazil, and to the world, innumerable methods to contain the increase of infected people. These methods are necessary to avoid the spread of the virus and include social distancing and quarantine of the population. Knowing that these methods have a big impact on the educational system. This study has as its objective to verify the process of teaching and learning, in educational spaces and environments, in times of a pandemic. In order to look for a pattern in established actions in educational programs to incorporate in large scale the tools of educational technology at a distance (distance learning), for example platforms and virtual teaching environments designed to guarantee the pedagogical processes of learning and ameliorate the impact of absence from the classroom during the pandemic, and its post-pandemic consequences. We emphasize the importance of the teacher as mediator, understanding that this professional should respect the different levels of learning of the students and try to carry out activities that help with the improvement of practical education for the appropriate environment and spaces of interaction.

Today, knowledge management has come to be accepted and recognized as a source of competitive advantage in the private sector. Although Knowledge Management (KM) has been gaining attention all over the world, KM as a discipline is still in its infancy, and adoption of KM is still at its nascent stage when it comes to the Public Sector. It is vital for any organization to understand the concept of KM so as to align its KM strategy with the organization’s strategy. This is all the more important when it is the Public Sector because the impact of Public Sector organizations directly affects the common man. Knowledge creation, generation, and application are a continuous process. Without thorough understanding and awareness of KM, the Public Sector may not be able to reap true and full benefits. This chapter aims to bring a comprehensive understanding of KM application to the Public Sector and through cases recognizes the initiatives of KM in the Indian Public Sector.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic Universities around the world are taking rapid actions to ensure students learning continuity and secure the well-being of their students. This study aims at exploring the student’s e-learning experience in Jordanian Universities as well as e-learning readiness during the pandemic. While each university is unique, we hope our assessment can provide some insights into how well the student’s e-learning experience was during the pandemic. A structural online questionnaire was distributed, followed by descriptive analysis. Students from remote and disadvantaged areas primarily faced enormous challenges such as technological accessibility, poor internet connectivity, and harsh study environments. This study also highlights the role of electronic commerce in transforming distance learning. Further investments and contingency plans are needed to develop a resilient education system that supports electronic and distance learning throughout Jordan.

Virtual learning, also known as online learning or distance learning has transformed the face of the education system for quite some time. Now, it is rapidly becoming an integral aspect and a common tool, in the broader aspect of higher education, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to providing an alternative method of learning in the digital age, online learning offers students the opportunity to learn new skills or improve existing ones.  On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Following the speed with which COVID-19 spread to all parts of the world and to curb the spread of the disease, most governments around the world, including the Republic of Kosovo, authorized unprecedented social control measures to stop this disease unknown. These measures, among others, required social distancing and temporary physical closure of educational institutions. The first case of COVID 19 in Kosovo was identified on March 13, 2020, social distancing - full closure came into force on March 15, while UBT Higher Education Institution started online learning on March 16, 2020, the first in Kosovo and possibly in the Western Balkans. This teaching-learning process was a novelty for Kosovo and was applied for the first time. Objective: The main objective of the current survey was to study the impact of E-learning on students' academic performance and their evaluations of this form of teaching in general. The purpose of this paper is to reflect as professionally as possible the organization of distance learning, the effects on the teaching and learning process as well as the form and level of communication and teacher-student relations in this process which was a novelty for Kosovo and UBT as one of the largest Private Colleges in the region.

The World Health Organization has declared the COVID-19 pandemic one of the main threats to humanity, as it affected not only the health care system, but also the global economy and education system around the world. All educational institutions, schools, colleges, universities were massively closed. In 2020, every fifth student in the world did not attend school. Today, distance learning is popular due to a number of advantages. This is, first of all, the availability of information about all knowledge in one place, so that each student has free access to content anywhere and at any time. However, there are also certain negative aspects of distance learning. In this paper, we conducted a comparative analysis of the positive and negative aspects of distance learning using a review of the literature available to us. The manuscript was prepared as part of the diploma work of N.K. Zhasulanov on the topic: «Assessment of the impact of distance learning introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic on the level of knowledge of students (for example, Astana Medical University)»
