Conventional learning models that still dominate the science learning process have a negative impact on learning psychology and student learning outcomes, for example the lecture method. In addition, the integration of local knowledge in learning almost done because the teacher thought local knowledge of science content is not relevant to modern science. This study has the prospect to develop an integrated learning tools nested models based on local wisdom phinisi boat. Products developed focuses on improving communication skills and conceptual knowledge of students. Adapting product development methods development framework Dick and Carey to modify it in 5 stages. Stages of needs analysis, product design, product development, product implementation and evaluation, and the final product. The results of product development tested in a limited class of the class VII SMPN 32 Bulukumba the 15 students who have been selected by purposive sampling. The choice of subjects represented each of 5 students with low, medium, and high abilities. Primary data were obtained from the assessment of the product by 2 experts and through the assessment questionnaire. The feasibility of the product in the category "very high". The syllabus has a validity level of 94.00%, RPP 93.75%, LKPD 96.00%, and assessment instruments 95.00%. Response practitioners and learners in the category ratings "high" and "very high" throughout the assessment indicators. In the implementation phase, learning nested models based on local wisdom boat phinisi provide more space for students to express their knowledge and digging skills

The phenologies of introduced relative to native species can greatly influence the degree and symmetry of competition between them. The European spider Linyphia triangularis (Clerck, 1757) (Linyphiidae) reaches very high densities in coastal Maine (USA). Previous studies suggest that L. triangularis negatively affects native linyphiid species, with competition for webs as one mechanism. We documented phenological differences between L. triangularis and three native species that illustrate the potential for the reversal of size-based competitive advantage over the course of the year. To test whether relative size influences interaction outcome, we allowed a resident spider to build a web and then introduced an intruder. We examined whether the outcomes of agonistic interactions over the webs were influenced by the species of the resident (invasive or native), the relative size of the contestants, and the species × size interaction. We found that the importance of relative size differed among species. In interactions between L. triangularis and each of two native species, size played a greater role than resident species on the outcome of interactions, suggesting that competitive advantage reverses over the season based on phenology-related size differences. Linyphia triangularis had a negative impact on the third species regardless of relative size.

Abstract. The potential of high-resolution repeat DEMs was investigated for glaciological applications including periglacial features (e.g. rock glaciers). It was shown that glacier boundaries can be delineated using airborne LIDAR-DEMs as a primary data source and that information on debris cover extent could be extracted using multi-temporal DEMs. Problems and limitations are discussed, and accuracies quantified. Absolute deviations of airborne laser scanning (ALS) derived glacier boundaries from ground-truthed ones were below 4 m for 80% of the ground-truthed values. Overall, we estimated an accuracy of +/−1.5% of the glacier area for glaciers larger than 1 km2. The errors in the case of smaller glaciers did not exceed +/−5% of the glacier area. The use of repeat DEMs in order to obtain information on the extent, characteristics and activity of rock glaciers was investigated and discussed based on examples.

Forest fires cause losses and negative impact. Forest fire in mountain Ciremai national park caused by human factor. Efforts to control forest fires currently preferred by involving the community. This research is done using primary data and information obtained from filling the questionnaire. Research is taking samples from three villages namely Cibuntu village, Padabeunghar villages, and Kaduela village. Respondents were interviewed 90 respondents. Based on researches known that the area around the national park had high perception of Ciremai national existance. They argue that the mountain Ciremai national parks useful in life and the management of mountain Ciremai national parks better. Based on the scoring of 90 respondents 70 of them have a highperception of the forest fire control in mountain Ciremai national park, it means that most of people have participated in efforts to control forest fire.Key words: Forest fire,community role, forest fire control

The study was carried out to analyse the economics of shifting land from field crops to hog plum cultivation in southern Bangladesh during July to September 2018. A total of 120 farmers were selected by using multistage stratified random sampling technique to collect primary data. Result of the study shows that the per hectare average total cost of hog plum cultivation was Tk. 94,126. The average yield of hog plum was 7.97 t ha-1. Net return from hog plum cultivation was Tk. 126,921 per hectare. By cultivating hog plum, farmers obtained 56 to 93% higher net return than the other existing cropping patterns. Since the BCR (2.94), NPV (Tk. 2215,000) and IRR (59%) were very high, the land shifting decision towards hog plum cultivation was sensible. However, BCR was very low in the initial stages of hog plum plantation. Initial investment support from public or private sector could facilitate the growth of this cultivation practice. Int. J. Informal science learning (ISL) has shown a considerable amount of recognition to the enrichment of science learning. The purpose of this study is to investigate one form of ISL that is on-stage shows also known as science shows to enhance students’ achievement on fire and pressure science concepts and to investigate whether science shows could engage students in science learning. Two science shows were conducted in this study with demonstration characteristics identified as CHAMP merged with the science content development framework for science shows practised by OGDC. In the attempt to identify whether the students learning achievement on fire and pressure science concept were enhanced, experimental design research consisting of a quantitative approach using pretest and posttest achievement tests were utilized. It is followed by BERI protocol to measure the behavioral engagement of students on science show and qualitative approach using structured interviews to elicit students’ insights on the shows. Pretest and posttest scores of the participating students were obtained and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranked test. The test revealed a statistically significant increase in scores following participation in the pressure and fire shows, Z= -3.562, p <.001, with a large effect size (r = 0.611) and Z= -3.624, p <.001, with a large effect size (r = 0.622) respectively. Structured interview transcripts (transcribed verbatim) were obtained from six selected students that participated in the experiment whereby two themes were derived, namely; knowledge gained by students and delivery of science show. The statistical and qualitative findings from the study indicated promising evidence that science shows do support students’ achievement on fire and pressure concepts as well as engaging them in learning science.

Street vendors is a phenomenon in almost all regions in Indonesia, which is always a positive and negative impact on the region where the street vendor activity. The positive is the economy in a sustainable life in areas where street vendor activities, while the negative effects are disturbed some public access as a result of the existence of such street vendor, such as public roads are always jammed, the sidewalk is not functioning, trash increases or the environment increasingly neglected, area aesthetics will show discomfort. For the more crowded street vendor activities will have an impact upon the producer. However street vendor unaware that what was done to give effect to society because of disruption of public facilities. It is very necessary of information for the  street vendor’s understanding and perception to the impact caused by their presence in an area. The research was conducted by qualitative method with type research field investigations and descriptive analysis of the street vendor, managers, buyers and decision makers who do trading activities in S. Parman Street, UlakKarang Padang.  Samples as research subjects were the street vendors as much as 5 people, managers, local government, the buyer and road users. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data Collection Techniques conducted by observation, interview, and documentation while data analysis is conducted qualitatively by a descriptive approach. The findings and the results are show that the information obtained is correct in running its activities to seek fortune already utilizing public access such as sidewalk and road. Contributions to the street vendors are expected to have awareness in running its activities mainly on the utilization of public access and if you want to keep running its activities must be willing to abide by all the regulations set forth by the government, because it became a street vendor answers to some of the problems faced by street vendors as well as for the government attempted to manage and regulate the existence of street vendors to be in line with policies that have been set by the government for street vendors somehow able to overcome the problem of the existence of the public economy.

The research aim is to identify the correlation between circadian rhythm in terms of changes in the chronotype of human working capacity and severity of psoriasis progression, obesity, and the disease impact on the quality of patients' life. Materials and Methods. The research focuses on the determination of the PASI, BMI, DIAG indexes and a patient's chronotype of working capacity. Results and Discussion. The results of the correlation analysis showed a very high negative correlation between chronotype of patients' working capacity and BMI. They also demonstrated a high negative correlation between PASI and DIAG indicators and chronotype of patients' working capacity. Conclusions. The circadian rhythm changes to the evening chronotype of human working capacity contribute to psoriasis worsening, weight gain, and negative impact of the disease on the quality of patients' life.
