The active use of screen printing techniques by industry sectors encourages this technique to be developed both in the use of tools or materials. It is undeniable that the use of screen printing techniques or so-called commercial screen printing makes this technique can be studied not only in formal educational institutions but also non-formal. The emerging of screen printing practitioners made this technique development specifically according to their individual needs. One of Commodification of screen printing techniques in the community is in dukuh Krangkungan, di Desa Pandes, Kecamatan Wedi, Kabupaten Klaten, Central Java. Characteristics that developed in Wedi researched using field methods of observation, documentation and interviews. Paguyuban as a place to communicate and socialize have a role to screen printing technique that exist in Wedi. The spirit of togetherness that is built in Paguyuban Kampung Sablon not only in the stage of running a business but also on various aspects besifat technically one of them is to divide the screen printing ability. Paguyuban also as a forum to exchange information about the technical, tools and materials. Paguyuban also encourages employees who have working experience as a screen printing and has mastered the technical screen printing to open screen printing services themselves. Seen from the number of members of the community that has grown from 9 at the beginning of established now become 15 units of screen printing. The screen printing unit developed will be able to survive one of them with improved quality, work ability and efficiency. Key word: Screen Printing, Commodification, Sablon  Penggunaan secara aktif teknik cetak saring oleh sektor industri mendorong teknik ini terus dikembangkan baik dalam penggunaan alat atau bahan. Tidak dapat dipungkiri penggunaan teknik cetak saring atau yang biasa disebut sablon secara komersial membuat teknik ini dapat dipelajari tidak hanya di lembaga pendidikan formal tapi juga non formal. Praktisi sablon yang akhirnya bermunculan juga mengembangkan teknik ini lebih spesifik sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing. Komodifikasi teknik cetak saring di masyarakat salah satunya di dukuh Krangkungan, di Desa Pandes, Kecamatan Wedi, Kabupaten Klaten, Jawa Tengah. Karakteristik serta rekayasa teknik yang berkembang di Kampung Sablon Wedi diteliti menggunakan metode lapangan berupa observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Paguyuban sebagai wadah untuk berkomunikasi dan bersosialisai mempunyai peran terhadap teknik sablon yang ada di Wedi. Semangat kebersamaan yang dibangun dalam Paguyuban Kampung Sablon tidak hanya dalam tahap menjalankan usaha tapi juga pada berbagai aspek yang besifat teknis salah satunya adalah membagi kemampuan menyablon.. Paguyuban juga sebagai wadah untuk bertukar informasi mengenai teknis, alat dan bahan. Paguyuban juga mendorong karyawan yang telah lama bekkerja sebagai tukang sablon dan telah menguasai teknis sablon utnuk membuka jasa sablon sendiri. Terlihat dari jumlah anggota paguyuban yang telah bertambah dari 9 pada awal didirikan sekarang menjadi 15 unit sablon. Unit sablon yang dikembangkan akan bisa bertahan salah satunya dengan peningkatan kualitas, kemampuan kerja dan efisiensi kerja. Kata Kunci: Cetak Saring, Komodifikasi, Sablon

Screen printing is one of printing techniques. It has its own characteristic and uniqueness in the printing process, so it has customer likeability. Besides as printing media, screen printing is a media to promote and to gather creative ideas in reproduction printing technique. Communication could be understood as message, idea or information delivery process to other people that using specific facilities or equipment to influence or change the receiver’s behavior. T-Shirt as one message delivery media has important part in creative industry. Screen printing technique has different characteristic. T-Shirt as screen printing media is highly effective in supporting promotion and design work appreciation media.

Glasses / mugs and plates have a function as tableware, it also has a function as souvenirs that we can adjust to the desired character and look attractive, so that it has high value to sell. The method used to make souvenirs of glasses / mugs and plates is by means of a screen printing technique with digital printing. Screen printing techniques with digital printing on glasses / mugs and plates are done by a press machine, so that they can be decorated by using names, images according to the desired order. The development of souvenirs of glasses / mugs and plates in Jember is still rarely found. It can be proved, in each shop there are only a few which sell it, but are not produced by themselves. This has become an attractive and beneficial business opportunity for the economic development of the Handycraft Group and the Sekar Kartini Women's Cooperative members whose businesses have been declining recently. Thus, the specific target to be achieved is the establishment of a business unit for souvenirs of character glasses / mugs and plates by using appropriate technology, namely screen-printing presses and digital printing, and marketing management with the help of information technology (social media).

This study purpose is to analyze esthetic characters on Durga illustration with simple discharge screen printing technique. As many people know, Durga visualization is more identically spooky impression. Durga illustration used as reference or as an object on simple discharge screen printing technique, which is a type of screen print that removes the basic color of the fabric with chlorine material as a mixture of ink, produce a distinctive color effect and different from the usual screen printing techniques. This study will focus on the form balance and aesthetic characteristics or properties such as complexity, it becomes interesting to study. Furthermore in this writing using qualitative descriptive method in order to get a systematic, factual, and accurate overview of aesthetics through the balance form of Durga illustration with a simple discharge screening technique.

AbstractIn the present work, the screen printing technique has been used to deposit thick films of Zr0.84Y016O1.92 (8YSZ). In order to control the final porosity in view of a specific application (SOFCs or gas sensor), an experimental design based on analysis of variances (ANOVA) has been carried out. From this, we were able to determine the influence of several technological parameters on films porosity and grain size. The films obtained have been analysed with both Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Focused Ion Beam (FIB) combined with SEM. We show that only the combination of experimental design and advanced observation technique such as Focused Ion Beam allowed us to extract significant information for the improvement of the deposition process.

Background: The population growth rate of Central Java Province is considerably above the ideal. Therefore, the Provincial and Regional Governments need to carefully plan the development programs by analyzing the family knowledge of population issues. This study aims to determine the family knowledge of population issues.Design and Methods: This research used the secondary data analysis (SDA) method. The data were taken from the 2019 Performance and Program Accountability Survey (SKAP) of the Population of KKBPK (Population of Family Planning and Family Development), Central Java Province. The data included in the 2019 SKAP Keluarga on population issues will be analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis.Results: According to the research data, 51.5% of respondents understood population issues. The commonly recognized issues are unemployment (95.5%), employment (97.1%), and poverty (97.1%). The source of information widely used by respondents is the television (91.9%). Additionally, officers or communities that provide abundant information about population issues are friends, neighbors, and relatives (72.8%). Furthermore, formal educational institutions, including schools (47.8%), and community organizations (youth organizations, PKK/Family Welfare Program, Integrated Health Service Post, and religious organizations) (49.6%) provided information.Conclusions: In conclusion, efforts to increase the knowledge about population issues can be done by optimizing the function of television, close circles, the role of formal educational institutions and social organizations.

Micro-encapsulated pigments were formulated into biodegradable printing pastes and their properties were analyzed. The pigment was used as the core material and polylactic-based biodegradable thickener was used as the wall-former. Cotton/polyester blend fabric was printed with micro-encapsulated pigment using screen-printing technique without dispersing agents, penetrating agents, leveling agents or other auxiliaries. Micro-encapsulated pigment has been characterized in terms of average particle size and size distribution, morphological structure and elemental composition using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX). The variations in viscosity and paste stability were observed upon storing over 7 days at ambient temperature. For permanence, the micro-encapsulation process afforded better colorfastness properties against light, washing, rubbing, and perspiration.
