The problem of the catering business is that tastes tend to be less tasty, mistakes in choosing non-quality cooking ingredients, and employees (chefs) tend not to be painstaking, so it is interesting to research by investigating the relationship of intellectual capital with the innovative behavior of women managers and impacting on business performance through competitive advantage. From 25 catering businesses headed by women managers, we set managers and employees (cooks) as 75 respondents (purposive sampling) with data analysis using WarpPLS 7.0. We found that the better the intellectual capital, the better the innovative behavior of female managers, and the better the catering business performance in Makassar City. We found that the better the intellectual capital, the better female managers' innovative behavior, and the better the catering business performance in Makassar City. We also find that behavior innovation is getting better so that this business has a competitive advantage and good business performance.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intellectual capital terhadap return on assets dengan competitive advantage sebagai variabel intervening pada bank umum syariah di Indonesia periode Q1 2017-Q4 2018. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah bank umum syariah di Indonesia selama periode 2017-2018. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan memperoleh 10 bank umum syariah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis) dan menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) intellectual capital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap competitive advantage bank umum syariah. 2) intellectual capital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return on assets bank umum syariah. 3)competitive advantage berpengaruh positif signifikan return on assets bank umum syariah. 4) competitive advantage memediasi hubungan intellectual capital terhadap return on assets pada bank umum syariah.Kata Kunci: Intellectual Capital, Competitive Advantage, Return on Assets, Bank Umum Syariah ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of intellectual capital on return on assets with competitive advantage as an intervening variable in Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia in the period Q1 2017-Q4 2018. The sample in this study is Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia during the period 2017-2018. Data were collected using a purposive sampling method and obtained 10 Islamic commercial banks. The approach used is a quantitative approach with path analysis techniques (path analysis) and using SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that: 1) intellectual capital has a positive and significant effect on the competitive advantage of Islamic banks. 2) intellectual capital has a positive and significant effect on return on assets of Islamic banks. 3). competitive advantage has a significant positive effect on Islamic banks' return on assets. 4) competitive advantage mediates the relationship of intellectual capital to return on assets in Islamic commercial banks.Keyword: Intellectual Capital, Competitive Advantage, Return on Assets, Sharia General Bank

The concept of intellectual capital (IC) was introduced by Leif Edvinsson in 1997 in the long Planning journal. 2019 marks since 22 years from that article. This centenary has motivated us to review the literature on the IC for highlighting the various research questions that relates to current marketing research. Hence, after reviewing the literature on IC, it has shown that IC is considered a knowledge based and an important resource to improve the organizational business performance (BP). In the extensive literature, the researchers have argued that as a knowledge base resource it carries out more than 75 percent worth of the organization and also determine the success of the today’s business. The relationship between IC, board characteristics (BC) and BP has been review in detail. In line with this, intellectual capital and board characteristics are considered essential to improve performance and success of the organization but there still there is no clear relationship among them and also a lack of studies in the context of developing countries. Hence, after reviewing the several studies, the following knowledge gaps in the existing studies have been found. Therefore, much remains to understood regarding the way of approaching and conceptualizing both, IC, BC with the BP in another way to see the clear relationship among them.

This study aims to determine the role of competitive advantage in mediating the relationship between the adoption of financial reporting standards and innovation on the business performance of SMEs in Pematangsiantar City. This study uses a research design with a quantitative approach to causality. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The sampling method used in this study is the convenience sampling method. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS).The data analysis test tool uses the statistical software Smartpls 3.0. The results showed that innovation and competitive advantage had a significant effect on business performance, the adoption of financial reporting standards on business performance obtained an insignificant impact. Whereasthe effect of the adoption of financial reporting standards on competitive advantage obtained significant results. Furthermore, the effect of innovation on competitive advantage obtained insignificant results. Then competitive advantage can mediate the relationship between the adoption of financial reporting standards on business performance. Furthermore, the competitive advantage variable is not able to mediate the relationship between innovation and business performance.

When a company tries to find a business performance formula that can become a new solution in order to maintain its survival, then it depends on how its ability to manage its assets. So this study aims to examine the relationship of three main components of Intellectual Capital and Business Performance from Bontis at al: Human Capital, Structural Capital, Relational Capital. Hypothesis testing is conducted on the positive relationship between Human Capital and Business Performance, the positive relationship between Structural Capital and Business Performance, the positive relationship between Relational Capital and Business Performance, and the positive relationship between Intellectual Capital (IC) and Business Performance. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire developed from IC sub-factors based on the Intellectal Capital Classification Scheme from Moon and Kym, given directly to respondents or managers / business owners with a sample of 30 companies, then the data collected was analyzed using the IBM 20.0 SPSS program. Positive inter-variable influences have been found accompanied by rejected hopothesis.

Indonesia is a country that has a long coastline and the development of fisheries and marine sector. Utilization of marine resources is accompanied by the use of capture fisheries to produce processed products. One of processed fishery product is fish shredded with the central area of Makassar City. Production inputs that have fluctuating prices are the primary cause of business performance disruption. The study was conducted in Makassar with 40 respondents of UMKM. Data analysis performed is to analyze the relationship between business performance with entrepreneurship orientation using Spearman analysis. The findings indicate that the majority of entrepreneurial orientations are significantly related to business performance. Keinovativan is related to the overall variable of business performance, proactive and dares to take risks related to company growth and Customer Satisfaction. Aggressiveness is related to company growth and competitive advantage. While the autonomy is not related to business performance

PurposeInnovations are imperative for organizational growth and sustainability. This study focuses on the employees' innovative behavior, a source of organizational innovations, which has received substantial attention from the researchers. Based on the psychological empowerment theory, the study exposes the effect of the various dimensions of public service motivation (PSM) on employees' innovative behavior (IB) in public sector institutions especially in the context of developing countries such as Pakistan. Moreover, the study also investigates the mediating role of psychological empowerment (PSE) between the dimensions of PSM and IB.Design/methodology/approachThis study used the cross-sectional research design. By using random sampling, the adapted survey questionnaires were used to collect data from 346 faculty members of public sector universities located in provincial capitals of Pakistan. A partial least square–structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) tool was used to assess the proposed hypotheses through SMART-PLS software.FindingsResults revealed that attraction to policymaking (APM), compassion (COM), self-sacrifice (SS) have a significant impact on employees' PSE and their innovative behavior, while the relationship of commitment to the public interest (CPI) with PSE and IB was found insignificant. Moreover, PSE partially mediated the relationship between PSM dimensions and employees' IB.Originality/valueThere was a scarcity of research on IB especially in public sector institutions such as academia. This study theoretically contributed to the literature by providing a refined picture in assessing the proposed relationship of the constructs. This is also one of the original studies that examine the relationship between the dimensions of PSM and IB.

This paper aims at investigating the relationship between the application of innovation and entrepreneurship system and the university competitive advantage in the Jordanian higher education sector.     To collect the required data, the number of some concerned individuals was surveyed through a carefully designed questionnaire that has become the main instrument to obtain the required data.A random sample of university managerial staff was withdrawn from five private Jordanian universities. The collected data was audited, reviewed and statically analyzed using the most relevant statistical test. The results of the statistical analysis have clearly pointed out that university adoption of innovation and entrepreneurship system has a significant effect on its competitive advantage.

ABSTRAKPentingnya laporan keuangan bagi banyak pihak, menyebabkan laporan tersebut harus disajikan secara relevan dan reliabel. Kualitas audit yang baik dapat menyebabkan laporan keuangan semakin dipercaya keasliannya. Kualitas audit tergantung pada independensi dan kompetensi auditor. Independensi dan kompetensi seorang auditor tergantung pada pengalaman maupun sikap skeptis yang dimiliki auditor tersebut. Pengalaman auditor akan meningkat dikarenakan telah terbiasa dengan pekerjaannya sehingga auditor akan bekerja secara efisien dan lebih tahan terhadap tekanan klien. Sampel yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 85 auditor. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada auditor yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis regresi tanpa dan dengan variabel moderasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas audit di KAP Provinsi Bali memiliki hubungan secara positif dengan pengalaman dan skeptisisme auditor, audit tenure tidak mampu memoderasi hubungan pengalaman auditor dengan kualitas audit auditor di KAP Provinsi Bali, dan audit tenure mampu memoderasi hubungan skeptisisme auditor dengan kualitas audit auditor di KAP Provinsi Bali.Kata Kunci: audit tenure, pengalaman , skeptisisme auditor, kualitas audit  ABSTRACTThe importance of financial statements for many, causing the report to be presented in a relevant and reliable manner. A good audit quality can lead to more authentic financial reports. The quality of the audit depends on the independence and competence of the auditor. The independence and competence of an auditor depends on the experience and skepticism of the auditor. The experience of the auditor will increase due to the familiarity with the work so that the auditor will work efficiently and more resistant to client pressure. The samples were selected using a sample saturated technique with a total sample of 85 auditors. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to the auditor who became the research sample. Data analysis techniques use regression analysis without and with moderation variables. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion that have been done, it can be concluded that the audit quality in KAP Bali Province has a positive relationship with the experience and skepticism of auditors, audit tenure unable to moderate the relationship of auditor experience with audit auditor quality in KAP Bali Province and audit tenure able to moderate the relationship of auditor skepticism with audit auditor quality in KAP Bali Province.Keywords: audit tenure, experience, auditor skepticism, audit quality

The objective of this research was to provide an understanding of cohesion and coherence in the newspaper Bisnis Indonesia with title Kemenperin Jamin Serap Garam Rakyat. The research method used is the method of content analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques begin with data reduction, data tabulation, data classification, data interpretation, and conclusions. The results show that in the news text in the newspaper Bisnis Indonesia there is a more dominant cohesion found pronouns, ellipsis, and conjunctions or hyphens. Then, the coherence that is found is the relationship of contradictions, general specific relationships, comparison relationships, causal relationships, review relationships, and referral relationships. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of simultaneous and partial marketing mix on the purchase decision of prospective consumers of Grand Cempaka Housing.This research uses quantitative methods, and is a survey research from the types of explanatory research whose focus is placed on relational research: studying the relationship of variables. The object of research is the residents of Pasuruan City and the sample in this study is the Prospective Consumer of Grand Cempaka Housing. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis methods.The results of the analysis show that Products, Prices, Places and Promotions simultaneously have a significant effect on the Decision of Purchasing Prospective Consumers of Grand Cempaka Housing. This shows that the marketing mix is one of the marketing strategies that should be considered so that the implementation of the marketing strategy can run successfully because the elements in the marketing mix influence each other. Variables in the marketing mix which include Products, Prices, Places and Promotions partially have a significant effect on the Decision of Purchasing Prospective Consumers of Grand Cempaka Housing.
