The study was conducted with the aim of proving that debt policy and price earning ratio affect dividend policy with managerial ownership as a mediating variable. In the study using a population of all companies included in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, using purposive sampling the total used in the study was 33 companies with secondary data taken from https://www.idx.co.id/. The result in this research prove that debt policy has a negative effect on dividend policy, while the price earning ratio has a positive effect on dividend policy. Then the presence of managerial ownership has a negative effect on debt policy research and price earnings ratio against dividend policy.  Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan membuktikan bahwa kebijakan hutang dan price earning ratio berpengaruh kepada kebijakan dividen dengan kepemilikan manajerial sebagai variabel mediasi. Dalam penelitian menggunakan populasi seluruh perusahaan yang termasuk dalam perusahaan manufaktur yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia, dengan menggunakan purposive sampling maka total sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu sebanyak 33 perusahaan dengan data sekunder yang diambil dari https://www.idx.co.id/ . Hasil dalam penelitian membuktikan bahwa kebijakan hutang berpengaruh negative terhadap kebijakan dividen, sedangkan price earning ratio berpengaruh positif terhadap kebijakan dividen. Kemudian dengan adanya kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh negative dalam penelitian kebijakan hutang dan price earning ratio terhadap kebijakan dividen.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of profitability, investment opportunity set, and managerial ownership on dividend policy. The population of this study consists of whole manufacturing companies that listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2013 to 2016 by using secondary data. The data have been collected from financial report of companies from Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) website and Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). In this study, the samples are obtained 21 companies out of 145 companies. Analytical method that is used is multiple regression analysis. The hypothesis is measured by using statistical t-test with α level of 5%. The results indicate that profitability gives negative effect but does not significant on dividend  policy of manufacturing companies that listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Meanwhile, investment opportunity set and managerial ownership give positive effect and also significant on dividend policy of manufacturing companies that listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX).Keyword: profitability, investment opportunity set, managerial ownership, and dividend policy

Abstrak:Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebijakan dividen, kebijakan utang, profitabilitas, kepemilikan manajerial, dan komite audit terhadap nilai perusahaan. Teknik pemilihan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 75 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2013-2017. Data penelitian ini menggunakan data dari laporan keuangan dari setiap perusahaan sampel. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan pemakaian SPSS 24. Nilai perusahaan dalam penelitian ini diukur dengan rasio Tobin’s Q. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kebijakan dividen, kebijakan utang, profitabilitas, kepemilikan manajerial dan komite audit secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Variabel kebijakan dividen (DPR), kebijakan utang (DER), kepemilikan manajerial (KM) dan komite audit (KA) tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan profitabilitas (ROE) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.   Kata Kunci:kebijakan dividen, kebijakan utang, nilai perusahaan, profitabilitas.              Abstract:This research was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of dividend policy, debt policy, profitability, managerial ownership, and audit committee on firm value. The technique of selecting this research sample using purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 75 manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2017. This research data uses data from financial statements from each sample company. The data analysis of this study uses multiple regression analysis with the use of SPSS 24. The company value in this study is measured by Tobin’s Q ratio. The results of this study indicate dividend policy, debt policy, profitability, managerial ownership and audit committee jointly influence the firm value. The variable dividend policy (DPR), debt policy (DER), managerial ownership (KM) and audit committee (KA) did not affect the value of the company, while profitability (ROE) had a significant positive effect on firm value.   Keywords:dividend policy, debt policy, firm value, profitability

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of liquidity, debt policy, company growth, board of commissioners and audit committee on dividend policies of manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The method of determining the sample is using purposive sampling. The samples taken were 30 companies with 170 observations, by non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. Data collected through non-participant observation.  Based on the results of research, debt policy and company growth have a negative effect on dividend policy, while liquidity, board of commissioners and audit committee have no significant effect on dividend policy. Tax avoidance is a legal action carried out by corporate taxpayer to reduce, minimize, and alleviate the tax burden in the manner permitted by law. Nowdays, there are a lot of tax avoidance cases in Indonesia. Indonesia is ranked 11th largest with the highest tax avoidance cases with an estimated value of 6.48 billion US dollars. This study aims to analyze the Influence of corporate ownership, executive characteristics, and the intensity of fixed assets on tax avoidance.The research’s population of this study were 152 manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015,2016, and 2017. This research samples were 62 companies or 167 observation data selected by purposive sampling method. The data used secondary data that obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and it was analyzed by multiple regression.The results of the study show that Family Ownership and Institutional Ownership have no effect on Tax Avoidance. While managerial ownership has a positive effect on Tax Avoidance. Executive characteristics and Intensity of Fixed Assets have negative effect on Tax Avoidance.

This study aims to identify and examine empirically effect of free cash flows, managerial ownership and dividend policy on debt policy (empirical study on companies listed on Stock Exchange). This study uses secondary data in form of financial statements derived from annual financial statements of companies listed on Stock Exchange and available reporting consecutive years from 2012 to 2017. Samples were taken by purposive sampling with first criteria company's annual financial statement data available for consecutive reporting years from 2012 to 2017. Number of samples in this study 132 firm years. Data analysis methods used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Results showed that: free cash flows and managerial ownership has a significant positive effect on debt policy. Dividend policy have a significant negative effect on debt policy. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan kebijakan dividen sebagai variabel mediasi pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Populasi yang digunakan adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2016-2018. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 19 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Kebijakan dividen berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Investors have a goal to get maximum returns by anticipating the impact they will face in the future. In this study the return meant is dividend policy. There are 4 factors that influence dividend policy, namely: (1) debt policy, (2) liquidity, (3) company size, (3) profitability. This type of research is causative with secondary data, where this study analyzes how the influence of one variable with another variable or how a variable affects other variables. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method. Purposive sampling is the determination of the cellphone and population based on the criteria desired by the researcher in order to obtain a representative sample according to the criteria. The object of this study is a company listed on the LQ-45 Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a period of 2013-2016. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 21.0. The results of this study indicate that (1) debt policy has a negative and not significant effect on dividend policy in the LQ-45 index company listed on the Stock Exchange in 2013-2016, (2) liquidity has a negative and not significant effect on dividend policy on LQ-index companies 45 which are listed on the IDX in 2013-2016, (3) the size of the company has a negative and not significant effect on dividend policy on LQ-45 index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2016, and (4) Profitability has a negative and not significant effect on policy dividends on LQ-45 index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2016.Keyword: Dividend Policy, Debt Policy, Liquidity, Company Size, and Profitability

The study aims to examine the effect of company size, profitability, dividend policy, asset structure, company growth and free cash flow on debt policy. The object of this study uses manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used is secondary data in the form of annual financial statements for the 2015-2018 period. The collection technique used in this study was purposive sampling while the data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistics, classic assumption tests, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The analysis show that the size of the company has a negative and not significant effect on debt policy, profitability has a negative and significant effect on debt policy. Dividend policy variables and asset structure has a negative and significant effect on debt policy. While sales growth and free cash flow has no effect on debt policy.

ABSTRACT This research aims to examine the effects of leverage and liquidity on dividend policy with profitability as control variable. Independent variables were used leverage and liquidity. Dependent variable was used dividend policy. This research used profitability as control variable.The research population was manufacturing companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in period of 2009-2012. Sample was collected by purposive sampling method. Total of 18 manufacturing companies were taken as sample of research. Analysis method of this research used multiple regression.The result of this research showed that leverage had negative effect on dividend policy. While liquidity didn’t have effect on dividend policy. As control variable, profitability had positive effect on dividend policy. Variabel dependen yang digunakan adalah kebijakan dividen.Penelitian ini menggunakan profitabilitas sebagai variabel kontrol.Populasi dalam penelitian adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada periode 2009-2012.Sampel yang dikumpulkan menggunakan metode purposive sampling.Total 18 perusahaan ditentukan sebagai sampel.Metode analisis penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linier berganda.Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling terhadap perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2009 sampai 2012.Sebanyak 18 perusahaan manufaktur digunakan sebagai sampel.Metode analisis dari penelitian ini menggunakan regresi berganda.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa leverage memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap kebijakan dividen. Sedangkan likuditas tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen.Sebagai variabel kontrol, profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap kebijakan dividen.Bukti empiris dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa profitabilitas dapat ditambahkan sebagai variabel independen. Kata Kunci: Kebijakan Dividen, Leverage, Likuiditas dan Profitabilitas.

This study aimed to determine the Effect of Profitability directly or indirectly on Debt Policy through Dividend Policy on Manufacturing Companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. This study used secondary data in the form of financial statements of Manufacturing Companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2015-2017 which were accessed on ww.idx.com. The study population was 851 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The sample is 38 companies selected using the Purposive sampling method. This quantitative study used path analysis to analyze the data with the help of SPSS 16.0. The results showed that profitability negatively influenced debt policy, dividend policy did not influence debt policy, and profitability negatively influenced the dividend policy of manufacturing companies.
