Development of communication technology is growing very rapidly especially social media.Social Media can be a new medium for business people to conduct marketing communication.In addition to the relatively cheaper advertising costs, social media can reach a wider audience.This research examines the marketing communication of Viral Marketing in creating a business brand awareness of SMES case studies Coffee Kwang Koan.The purpose of this research is to know the influence of digital word of mouth or exposure that influencers do on Instagram social media in creating brand awareness and its effect on the development of the general business.The research object consists of two ethnic coffee shops, Kedai Kwang Koan.This study used a descriptive qualitative method by conducting interviews with Johny Poluan as the owner as the main speaker and observing the visitors of the Kwang Koan coffee shop.Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi berkembang sangat pesat khususnya media sosial. Media sosial dapat menjadi medium baru bagi pelaku bisnis untuk melakukan komunikasi pemasaran. Selain biaya iklan yang relatif lebih murah, sosial media dapat menjangkau khalayak yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang komunikasi pemasaran Viral Marketing dalam menciptakan brand awareness bisnis UMKM studi kasus Kopi Kwang Koan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh word of mouth digital atau exposure yang dilakukan influencer di media sosial instagram dalam menciptakan brand awareness dan efeknya terhadap perkembangan bisnis secara umum. Objek penelitian terdiri dari dua kedai kopi etnis yakni Kedai Kwang Koan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif secara deskriptif yaitu dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap Johny Poluan selaku pemilik sebagai narasumber utama dan melakukan pengamatan terhadap pengunjung Kedai Kopi Kwang Koan.

Gemilang Lima Jaya (GLJ) has done such a word of mouth promotion, personal selling, sales promotion, and advertising. But in fact, GLJ generates sales is low due to lack of brand awareness on a sandal with a brand of NIMS. The purpose of this study was to evaluate communication marketing that can support GLJ’s brand awareness. This type of research is a qualitative method with semi structured interviews with GLJ’s consumers, CEO of GLJ, lecturers who supervise the project and experts, and documentation in collecting data. The results showed that (1) the overall that marketing communication applied in support of brand awareness GLJ is still not effective (2) factor marketing communication that supports brand awareness is advertising. (2) Advertising and personal selling GLJ yet effective, the need for evaluation in improvingInstagram such as posting the supporting images and increase the intensity of advertising. Personal selling by increasing design stand, do partnership, and doexhibition surveys. (3) Word of mouth and sales promotion has been running quite effectively. Still, Word of mouth needs evaluation by expanding markets outside the community. Sales Promotion is in compliance with the target market GLJ, yet still needs to be improved by offeringpromotional goods such as stamp and voucher.

The development of the community is currently getting forward and more of young people who have an interest in a thing that is similar and  they began to build a community. Suara Disko. is a community that has a  purpose to popularize  the  80s music. With the evolve  of social media makes Suara Disko ha s  a media as Instagram to introduce their communities online. The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of online communities ‘Suara Disko ‘ in built a  Brand Awareness through 80s music Instagram.  This research using the qualitative method with approach case studies with indicator consists of four levels of Brand Awareness by Durianto that are Brand Recognition, Brand Unaware, Brand Recall, and Top Of Mind. Results of the study mentioned that the role of the community Suara Disko in built a Brand Awareness is by establishing the identity, provide the education, interaction with the followers, and become catchy by followers when considering which popularized back 80s music. Then to achieve the purpose of Suara Disko to popularize 80s music, Suara Disko is using Instagram to deliver activities in the form of visual and message.  Keywords – Brand Awareness, Community, Instagram, Role, Suara Disko

This research is about marketing communication strategies  by Matoa Watches in increasing brand awareness. Marketing communication conducted by Matoa is more focused on marketing communication activities on social media and internet but also done through advertising (advertising), exhibitions, publications, sales promotion and direct marketing to rise a brand awarenes.. In this research, researchers used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using in-depth semi-structured interviews to obtain complete information in accordance with what is needed by researchers. The conclusion from this study shows that every promotion mix undertaken by Matoa not only refers to increasing brand awareness to the community but there are several promotional mixes aimed at increasing sales such as sales promotion and direct marketing.Keywords: Marketing Communication Strategies, Intergrated Marketing Communication (IMC), Brand Awareness¸ Promotion

The purpose of this study was to determine what type of marketing communication objectives are present in the digital content marketing developed by luxury auto brands with social media presence in Puerto Rico, particularly Facebook. A longitudinal multiple-case study design was used to analyze five luxury auto brands using content analysis on Facebook posts. This analysis included identification of marketing communication objectives through social media content marketing strategies, type of media content and social media metrics. Our results showed that the most used objectives are brand awareness, brand personality, and brand salience. Another significant result is that digital content marketing used by brands in social media are focused towards becoming more visible and recognized; also, reflecting human-like traits and attitudes in their social media.

Instagram is a social media application that is currently very popular in the community, especially among artist, politicians, and business people. Companies or advanced business must quicly adapt to the advancement of information technology in the form of social media as a marketing tool. Instagram social media also necessary to developing educational institutions. One of the educational institution that ae currently developing is the newly established Faculty of Economics and Business Islam (FEBI) at the Kediri State Islamic Institute (IAIN Kediri). This writing aims to examine the importance of Instagram as social media marketing to building FEBI IAIN Kediri Brand Awareness. Instagram social media is considered more effectives to embrace students and the community, so it is expected to facilitate marketing and communication between FEBI IAIN Kediri with the students or other agencies. Kemajuan dunia digital komunikasi menyebabkan persaingan pasar semakin mengetat, berbagai perusahaan harus lebih peka dalam menentukan rencana pemasarannya. Perencanaan itu meliputi sebuah strategi yang dapat meningkatkan brand awareness (kesadaran merek). Salah satu strategi yang bisa diterapkan oleh perusahaan adalah strategi viral marketing. Strategi viral marketing ini sudah dilakukan oleh Harvies Coffee di Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses viral marketing melalui instagram dalam membangun brand awareness di Harvies Coffee di Banda Aceh, peneliti bermaksud menganalisis bagaimana proses viral itu dapat terjadi melalui pesan pemasaran yang disampaikan kepada khalayak melalui media sosial instagram. Untuk mengetahui karakter konsumen Harvies Coffee, peneliti berpijak pada konsep teori Elaboration Likelihood sehingga didapatkan viral marketing yang digunakan adalah high integration strategy. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 5 orang yang terdiri dari 1 orang informan kunci dan 4 orang infoman pendukung. Pemilihan informan dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yaitu owner Harvies Coffee, tim kreatif Harvies Coffee dan konsumen Harvies Coffee. Hasil penelitian ini adalah brand Harvies Coffee berhasil meningkatkan awarenessnya diposisi brand recall setelah melakukan viral marketing dengan memanfaatkan drama Korea Start Up melalui media sosial instagram. ABSTRAK    Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Perdesaan Swadaya (P4S) adalah salah satu kelompok tani yang diketuai oleh Bapak Buharto di desa Karang Melok, kecamatan Tamanan, kabupaten Bondowoso. Kegiatan utama dari P4S adalah memberikan pelatihan untuk menjalankan pertanian organik dan pembuatan pupuk organik. Permasalahan yang dihadapi P4S adalah pada kegiatan pemasaran dan proses pendaftaran bagi kelompok atau individu yang ingin mengikuti pelatihan. Selama ini pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh P4S adalah dengan cara konvensional yaitu dari mulut ke mulut. Pendaftaran hanya dapat dilakukan secara langsung melalui telpon tanpa adanya proses pendataan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk pemasaran dan meningkatkan brand awareness P4S adalah dengan membuatkan website dan akun di media sosial (facebook), dan kemudian disosialisasikan penggunaanya ke pengelola/anggota P4S.Kata kunci : P4S, pemasaran, brand awareness, website, media sosial. ABSTRACT “Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Perdesaan Swadaya (P4S)” is one of the farmer groups chaired by Mr. Buharto in Karang Melok village, Tamanan, Bondowoso. The main activity of P4S is to provide training to runing organic farming and making organic fertilizer. The problems faced by P4S are marketing activities and the registration process for groups or individuals who want to take part in the training. So far the marketing carried out by P4S is in the conventional way, which is word of mouth. Registration can only be done directly by telephone without the data collection process. Efforts that can be made for P4S in marketing activities and increasing brand awareness are by creating websites and account on social media (in this case Facebook), and then disseminated its use to members of P4S.

<p>The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of social media marketing and brand awareness on purchasing decisions with viral marketing as an intervening variable in Janji Jiwa coffee consumers among students who use social media in Jabodeta. convenience sampling with samples used as many as 214 respondents to fill out an online questionnaire with certain criteria. This research uses two independent variables, namely social media marketing and brand awareness, the dependent variable is the purchase decision and as an intervening variable (mediation), namely viral marketing. The method used in this study uses path analysis which is the development of multiple linear regression andprocessed using SPSS software. From the research results, it is known that social media marketing has an effect on purchasing decisions both directly and indirectly through viral marketin mediation, and brand awareness influences purchasing decisions both directly and indirectly through viral marketing mediation. Of the two, the direct influence on purchasing decisions is greater than the indirect effect through viral marketing mediation.</p>

Electronic word of mouth (eWOM) on products and services is getting more important in consumer behavior as well as marketing communication. Regarding the issue, marketing and consumer scholars have conducted research on eWOM message senders and recipients. Focusing on eWOM receiving behavior, this chapter presents academic knowledge regarding how recipients evaluate mobile e-WOM messages and how he/she behaves as a consequence. There are two kinds of eWOM (i.e., PC-based eWOM and mobile-based eWOM [mWOM]). Moreover, two types of messages can be identified in each kind of eWOM—viral messages from marketers via friends and relatives, and eWOM reviews on products and services from anonymous senders. Prior studies on viral marketing can be further divided into two research streams; research that have constructed and tested causal models explaining why consumers participate in viral marketing, and research that have focused on illustrating comprehensively a multi-stage cognitive and behavioral customer journey towards receiving, using, and forwarding viral marketing messages.
