This study explores the usefulness of e-learning in teaching in secondary institutions. The topic of using new information and communication technology for teaching and learning is very relevant in secondary education institutions. Henceforth, Students can manage the most recent Technologies better. In addition, the School must play an important role to give instructional classes to the teacher to build up their aptitudes on the utilization of present-day advancements and to encourage downloading E-educational module from the service's site. However, still there are deterrents with the application: First, right off the bat the substance of the educational programs is not perfect with E-learning. Second, shortcoming of the mechanical framework important for the foundation of the E-learning framework in general optional school. Third, low attention to understudies and educators about the significance of E-learning and absence of sufficient capability for chiefs and instructors where instructors experience issues in tolerating this kind of Education. This paper examines the concept and the description of e-learning as presented by different researchers, the role that e-learning plays in secondary education institutions in relation to teaching and learning processes, and the advantages and disadvantages of adopting and implementing it.

E-learning is  defined as a learning tool that is supported by information and communication technology. In the last ten years, E-learning has become the key issue of universities all over the world and has a significance impact on current higher education. The issue of utilizing novel information and communication technologies for teaching and learning, is therfore crucial. Before implementing an E-learning framework in Jeddah university, a questionnaire is established to highlight the ability of teachers' to use this new way of education or not. The results show that the teachers have favorable attitude towards the use of E-learning and new technologies to enhance the education.

Higher Education is the climax of the process of providing knowledge, changing learners attitude and inculcating specialized skills in individuals preparatory to taking a life-long employment with intent to earning a living and equally contributing to national economic growth and development. The Teaching and learning process is cardinal to the realization of the educational objectives of any nation. The advent of information and communication technology has made teaching and learning easier and beyond the traditional face to face interaction between the teacher and the learner. E-learning basically involving the transfer of skills and knowledge through an electronic device aims at improving the teaching/learning process. In spite of the benefits of e-learning to both regular students and distance learners, e-learning has been fraught with some challenges in Africa. Therefore, this paper discusses some of the challenges facing e-learning in Africa particularly in the Nigerian higher education system. These among others are epileptic power supply, high cost of procurement of computer hardware, inadequate infrastructure, and resistance to change on the part of the instructors, inability of learners to make use of ICT infrastructure, inadequate skilled manpower ICT, and corruption of computer storage device through viruses. Effectively managing the identified challenges means that the government would have to ensure regular power supply, lecturers and learners should be trained in the use of ICT infrastructure, and the government should evolve viable ICT policy as well as control or subsidise the price of the s of ICT infrastructure to make it affordable for both lecturers and learners. The scientific and technological revolution has made radical changes in all social and scientific systems, especially in pedagogical science. Technical and digital devices, as well as modern information and communication technology (ICT), have become an integral part of the teaching process and they represent an imperative of contemporary education. As a consequence of the mentioned informatization of the educational process, the idea of an innovative type of learning was created: e-learning which represents a way of acquiring knowledge and skills with the help and through educational and information and communication technology. The paper aims to study and to perform a theoretical analysis of the concept of e-learning in modern education. The paper gives a review of the concept of e-learning, as well as an analysis of the basic types or modalities, advantages and disadvantages of this type of learning. The occurrence of e-learning has enabled the transition from the process of reproduction to the process of building and upgrading the necessary knowledge and skills, thus overcoming the limits of tradicional teaching and realizing the ideas of active and lifelong learning. The student takes a central and key role in teaching, where teaching contents are presented in a creative and interactive way through modern technology and where the student acquires necessary competencies for living and working in modern society. The significance and implications of the conducted theoretical research are reflected in emphasizing the importance of the existence of e-learning modalities in teaching practice, which creates the prerequisites for quality and contemporary education. Elearning represents the future of pedagogical science and it is important to work on further popularization and research of this educational phenomenon.

<em>The covid-19 pandemic has changed the culture of teaching and learning activities in the schools. Learning activities are conducted online with the use of e-learning. Generally, Vocational High Schools (SMK) already have supporting facilities for the implementation of e-learning such as computer laboratories and adequate internet networks. However, most of the teachers in the schools are still not ready for the massive use of e-learning. For this reason, schools need training for teachers to optimize the use and integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in learning activities. The purpose of this community service is to provide training to teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu to make e-learning and implement it in the learning process. This activity involved all teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu. The stages of this training are: a) introduction to the concept of online learning (e-learning), b) workshop of creating e-learning, and c) application of e-learning into the subjects taught by each teacher. The results of this training: a) the teachers have been able to make learning packages, materials, and activities in the e-learning, b) Pedagogical competences of teachers have increased showed by a readiness to integrate ICT in the learning process, and c) The readiness of the school to optimize the application of e-learning to improve the learning process.</em>

The rapid development of information and communication technology or what is known as Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has penetrated various fields of life, including education and teaching. With regard to learning, the use of information technology, in this case, e-learning, is needed not only for educators who are skilled at utilizing technology and technology for the manufacture of teaching materials, but a design is needed to carry out learning effectively. In a learning design (instructional design) there is a process to guide actors (actors) to design, develop, implement e-learning content by utilizing the available e-learning infrastructure and applications. At the next stage in the implementation of e-learning, there is an evaluation stage which is used to revise or adjust to the previous stages. A good educational institution must develop teachers by providing various facilities to support the teaching and learning process. Teachers can replace it with a new method in the form of video or audio that has been combined with the teaching material they want to convey. As technology develops, mobile or smartphone versions of e-Learning can be compatible with the features available in conventional learning so that the quality of content in the form of subject matter can be accessed properly.

<p><em><em>Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh mata pelajaran Adminisstrasi Umum sebagai upaya menekan penyebaran covid-19 di lingkungan sekolah. Salah satu solusi pembelajaran jarak jauh adalah menggunakan Google Classroom sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis e-learning yang memudahkan guru dan peserta didik melakukan proses belajar mengajar di rumah untuk menunjang pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Pemanfaatan Google Classroom saat ini sangat efektif dan efisien yang tidak terbatas oleh ruang dan waktu. Guru dapat memberikan materi secara online, baik berupa teks, gambar, audio, maupun video kepada peserta didik. Selain itu guru dapat membuat daftar hadir peserta didik engan menggunakan link dari google form yang dikirimkan dalam Google Classroom. </em></em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><em>This research is a qualitative research which aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of distance learning in General Administration subjects as an effort to suppress the spread of covid-19 in the school environment. One distance learning solution is to use Google Classroom as an e-learning-based interactive learning media that makes it easier for teachers and students to carry out the teaching and learning process at home to support learning based on information and communication technology. The use of Google Classroom today is very effective and efficient, which is not limited by time and space. Teachers can provide material online, in the form of text, images, audio, and video to students. In addition, the teacher can make an attendance list of students using the link from the google form that is sent to the Google Classroom.</em></p>

Tumbuh kembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi informasi, khususnya teknologi informasi komunikasi banyak membawa dampak yang positif bagi berkembangnya dunia informasi dan terlebih khusus lagi pada dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan formal, informal, dan non formal dapat menikmati fasilitas teknologi informasi komunikasi dari yang simpel sampai kepada yang kompleks. Format-format pendidikan yang mungkin tersedia di abad ke-21 yaitu Cyber (E-Learning) yang merupakan belajar atau pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi komunikasi melalui perangkat komputer dan atau internet, open/distance learning yaitu model pembelajaran jarak jauh, dimana guru dan peserta didik/siswa berada dalam satu tempat yang berbeda tetapi bisa dengan waktu yang sama, serta dengan kemajuan teknolosi saat ini bisa juga dengan bertatap muka melalui kamera tetapi tidak bisa bertatap fisik secara langsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa dapat berkomunikasi dengan lancar dalam melakukan proses belajar mengajar menggunakan aplikasi Edmodo   The growth and development of science and information technology, especially information and communication technology has brought many positive impacts for the development of the world of information and especially in the world of education. Formal, informal, and non-formal education can enjoy information communication technology facilities from the simple to the complex. Educational formats that may be available in the 21st century are Cyber ​​(E-Learning) which is learning or learning through the use of information and communication technology through computers and or the internet, open/distance learning, which is a distance learning model, where teachers and participants students/students are in a different place but can be at the same time, and with current technological advances it can also be face-to-face through the camera but cannot meet physically directly. The purpose of this study is that teachers and students can communicate smoothly in the teaching and learning process using the Edmodo application

This paper is concerned with the improvement of teaching and learning process through the adoption of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and e-learning in Jordanian higher education institutions particularly in The Hashemite University (HU). The main challenge of the study is to provide such an understanding of how ICT and e-learning would be accepted through applying the Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) theory. Factors influencing user acceptance and adoption of ICT in Jordan on student motivations for the acceptance of technologies necessary for the delivery of e-learning activities are handled in this paper. The findings show the significant relationship between student's perception of technology characteristics and their attitude towards using the technology in the educational system.

In this paper, we give an overview of an interactive e-leaming tool which we have developed for kids aged from eight to eleven years old in Mauritius. By developing this software, we aim at promoting self learning and developing information and communication technology skills among the youngsters in Mauritius. The e-learning tool developed is based mainly on the science curricula covered at upper primary and lower secondary levels, in the Mauritian schools and colleges respectively. Our software does not intend to render obsolete or replace the existing pedagogical approaches. On the other hand, it will complement the existing teaching and learning methods.
