Dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan proyek konstruksi sering terjadi pengeluaran biaya yang melebih anggaran yang telah direncanakan. Kelebihan biaya yang dikenal dengan cost overruns ini akan membebani pihak pelaksana jasa konstruksi terutama untuk kontrak Lumpsum Fixed Price. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada proyek konstruksi rumah tinggal dan rumah toko (ruko) dengan kontrak lumpsum di Indonesia dengan ruang lingkup penelitian di Kota Bandung dan Cimahi. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya cost overruns dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi rumah tinggal kecil-menengah dan rumah toko serta memodelkan hubungan sebab akibat dari faktor-faktor yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya cost overruns tersebut dengan metode analisis jalur atau sering dikenal dengan metode Path Analysis. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan sasaran utama sebagai respondennya adalah para kontraktor atau minimal berada dijajaran Project Manager dalam sebuah proyek. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan bahwa faktor terkait kelengkapan desain merupakan faktor utama dalam terjadinya cost overruns  sehingga semakin lengkap desain awal perencanaan maka semakin kecil kemungkinan terjadinya cost overruns Sementara jalur yang memiliki pengaruh paling dominan yaitu: cost overruns dipengaruhi oleh faktor terkait kinerja hasil pekerjaan, yang sebelumnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor terkait tenaga kerja, yang sebelumnya oleh faktor terkait kondisi hukum, sosial dan ekonomi, yang sebelumnya oleh faktor terkait kelengkapan desain. Sehingga dapat dilihat bahwa sumber permasalahan utama dari jalur yang paling dominan adalah faktor-faktor terkait kelengkapan desain.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji, menganalisis menginterprestasi kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, Quality of Work Life Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Melalui Perilaku Pada Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriftip analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif. dan metode analisis yang digunakan Analisis Path/ Path Analysis. Data diperoleh dari Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar dan Responden adalah karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menemukan bebe-rapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar, antara lain Kepemimpinan, Kepuasan Kerja, Quality of Work Life dan Perilaku. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan ter-hadap perilaku karyawan. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karya-wan. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karyawan. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karyawan.  This study aims to examine, analyze leadership interpretation, job satisfaction, Quality of Work Life Against Employee Performance Through Behavior at the Hotel Dynasty Makassar City. This research is a descriptive analysis using a quantitative approach and a qualitative approach. And the analytical method used is Path Analysis. Data obtained from the Hotel Dynasty Makassar City and respondents were employees. The results of this study can find several factors that affect employee performance in the Makassar City Dynasty Hotel. These include leadership, job satisfaction, quality of work life and behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior.

This research begins with the discovery of problems in employee performance. The problem in this study is the low performance of employees, which is indicated by low human intelligence and competence. This study aims to analyze how the influence of human intelligence on employee performance is mediated by competence. With a sample of 90 people, using path analysis data analysis techniques (Path Analysis), the results show that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on competence by 32.95%. Also, emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on performance mediated by competence of 15.88%. Then, intellectual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on competence by 22.49%, while intellectual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on performance mediated by competence by 12.77%. Furthermore, spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on competence by 7.31%, and spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on performance mediated by competence by 2.62%. Then competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance by 73.44%.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of service quality on customer loyalty with customer delight as a mediating variable. This research was conducted at Gardin Bistro & Patisserie Seminyak Bali with Path Analysis data analysis techniques. The sample size obtained by using purposive sampling method as many as 130 respondents. Based on the results of the analysis it can be stated that Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer delight, customer delight has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The results of the study also found that customer delight mediated the influence of service quality on customer loyalty positively and significantly. Gardin Bistro & Patisserie Seminyak Bali needs to rejuvenate the facilities provided and improve the appearance of staff by providing work clothes every year so that the employees are clean and tidy. Management must re-educate every staff who works by providing service training so that they can better serve consumers. Keywords: service quality, customer delight, customer loyalty

SKF’s primary tool for gas turbine engine performance analysis is GSP (Gas turbine Simulation Program), a component based modeling environment that is developed at National Aerospace Laboratory NLR and Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. One of the applications is gas path analysis (GPA) using GSP’s generic adaptive modeling capability. With GSP, gas path analysis has been applied to different aero engines at several maintenance facilities. Additional functionalities have been developed to analyze multiple engine operating points and combine results of different adaptive modeling configurations automatically, resulting in more accurate and reliable GPA results. A ‘multi-point calibration’ method for the reference model was developed providing a significant improvement of GPA accuracy and stability. Also, a method was developed using ‘multiple analysis cycles’ on different condition indicator subsets, which successfully generated values for all condition parameters in cases with fewer measurement parameters than condition indicators and where measurement data are unreliable. The method has been successfully demonstrated on the GEM42 turbo shaft engine. A number of case studies have shown GPA results corresponding to available maintenance notes and inspection data. The extension of the GSP GPA tool with a database system provides a useful tool for analyzing engine history and comparison of analyzed component conditions throughout the fleet. When a large amount of analysis data is stored in the database, statistic analyses, trending and data mining can be performed. Also maintenance work scope effect on engine performance can be predicted. In this paper, the newly developed GSP gas path analysis functionalities are described and experiences and results with the GEM42 engine operational environment are presented.

This research was conducted in order to have a goal in knowing the effect of leg muscle strength, flexibility togok and balance on the Takraw service. The research subjects were 44 Sepak Takraw athletes of the Asia Pacific Tigers Club using a total sampling technique. The data collected consisted of leg muscle strength, flexibility togok and balance in the Sepak Takraw Seve. This research uses survey method with Path Analysis technique. Analysis testing is performed by calculating the data requirements, namely, linearity regression test, normality test and significance test. The results of the study found that there is an influence of leg muscle strength on the sepak takraw serve with a significance value of 0.303. There is the influence of togok flexibility on the sepak takraw serve with a significance value of 0.308. There is an effect of balance on the sepak takraw service with a significance value of 0.333. There is an influence of leg muscle strength on balance with a significance value of 0.459. There is the effect of togok flexibility on balance with a significance value of 0.445. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of leg muscle strength, togok flexibility, and balance on the sepak takraw serve. Keywords: leg muscle strength, togok flexibility, balance, sepak takraw serve.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan guna menguji pengaruh kekuatan otot tungkai, kelentukan togok dan keseimbangan pada servis sepak takraw. Subjek penelitian adalah 44 atlet sepak takraw Klub Macan Asia Pasific dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode  survei dengan teknik analisis jalur atau Path Analysis.  Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari pengukuran kekuatan otot tungkai menggunakan Leg Dynamometer, kelentukan togok menggunakan Sit and Reach, keseimbangan stork stand dan tes servis sepak takraw. Pengujian analisis dilakukan dengan perhitungan persyaratan data yaitu, uji linieritas regresi, uji normalitas dan uji signifikansi. Hasil yang telah dilakukan penelitian didapati bahwa ada pengaruh kekuatan otot tungkai terhadap servis sepak takraw dengan nilai signifikansi 0,303. Ada pengaruh kelentukan togok terhadap servis sepak takraw dengan nilai signifikansi 0,308. Ada pengaruh keseimbangan terhadap servis sepak takraw dengan nilai signifikansi 0,333. Ada pengaruh kekuatan otot tungkai terhadap keseimbangan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,459. Ada pengaruh kelentukan togok terhadap keseimbangan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,445. Time and cost overruns in highway construction are usual in Colombia. Contractors regularly fail in cost estimation and construction scheduling. An analysis of important factors on time and cost overruns in highway construction in southwest Colombia is presented in this paper. Forty highway construction projects were reviewed. Data from construction documents were collected to prepare a data base for probabilistic analysis. Data collected include scheduled construction time and cost, actual construction time and cost, and unexpected events which could have affected the construction process. Data were used in a probabilistic cost and schedule risk analysis to identify critical factors in construction time and cost overruns in the region. It was found that the activities that most affect the time and cost overruns are the construction of the granular base and the asphalt layer. The most common causes of construction overruns were found to be poor cost and duration estimates, rain, and materials supply problems.

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the sale of paper and printing machines which will increase greatly in paper demand is increasing every year. therefore the employee's performance is an important factor in increasing the sales of the company so that it can compete with other competitors. To maintain the necessary motivation employee performance so employees can work maximal.This purpose of study was to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style, communication on the motivation and impact on employee performance PT. XYZ. The population used in this study were all employees of PT. XYZ, Tangerang Cipondoh many as 43 people. The analysis technique used is the path analysis (path analysis) .Data obtained from questionnaires distributed to all employees PT. XYZ totaling 43 people to measure transformational leadership style, communication on the motivation and performance of employees by using a Likert scale. From the analysis of the data obtained showed that the Transformational leadership style, communication to motivation and significant influence simultaneously on employee performance.

Program kemitraan adalah program untuk meningkatkan kemampuan usaha kecil agar menjadi tangguh dan mandiri melalui pemanfaatan dana dari bagian laba BUMN. PT. Telkom sebagai salag satu BUMN dalam pelaksanaan program kemitraan, membentuk suatu unit yang bernama Telkom Community Development Center (Telkom CDC), yang dimana usaha kecil yang mendapatkan pinjaman dari Program Kemitraan tersebut disebut mitra binaan Telkom CDC. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan analisis jalur (path analysis). Data diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner 50 Mitra Binaan Telkom yang masih aktif berdasarkan Direktori UMK (Usaha Mikro Kecil) Mitra Binaan Telkom 2012. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi diferensiasi pemasaran memoderasi pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan secara signifikan, dengan total pengaruh sebesar 32,2%

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of compensation towards employee’s performance with motivation as the intervening variable. The data of this research consisted of primary data that was collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 employees in several banks and investment companies in Semarang for the year 2012. The sample in this study determined based on convenience sampling method. The regression analysis and path analysis are used in this study. Based on the analysis data, the result of this study are (1) compensation has a positive influence toward employee performance, (2) compensation has a positive influence toward motivation, (3) motivation has a positive influence toward employee performance, (4) compensation has a positive influence toward employee performance with motivation as the intervening variable. ABSTRACT A common tenet is that the use of cost-plus contracts contributes to cost overruns in the context of Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs). Accordingly, policy-makers express a preference for fixed-price contracts as opposed to cost-plus contracts. While fixed-price contracts may be superior in certain scenarios, such scenarios are limited in the MDAP context. We document three potential unintended negative consequences of fixed-price contracts. We argue that the notion that fixed-price contracts are better than cost-plus contracts for limiting cost overruns is misleading. JEL Classifications: G38; H57; M48.
