The aim of this research is to analyze the most important obstacles and challenges facing small and medium enterprises within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the light of international experiences, and to analyze and evaluate the role of the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority “Monshaat” in facing challenges facing small and medium enterprises inside the Kingdom; and to know the true reality of small and medium enterprises in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as reaching the hoped- for according to 2030 Vision, which aims to reform the Saudi economy and continue its growth and end its dependence on oil as a main source of income. The researcher analyzed the current situation of small and medium enterprises in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and compared them to the global situation through studying and analyzing leading global experiences and identifying aspects of benefiting from them. The research relied on the deductive approach, which is the approach that begins with the theory and ends with its applicability to the ground. The research also used the descriptive approach to describe the topic of the research, its importance, goals, and the most important studies that dealt with the role of small projects in economic development both inside and outside the Kingdom. The comparative approach to making comparisons from and reviewing the experiences of other countries and extracting lessons learned from them. It also relied on the standard method, which aims to measure economic phenomena and variables. This research found that there are many difficulties that hinder these projects from achieving the goals of the vision, including obtaining financing, as the rate of financing small enterprises does not exceed 5% of the total financing in the Kingdom. It is a small percentage compared to international rates. The result is a decrease in the contribution of small and medium enterprises to the gross domestic product if they do not exceed 20% and 53% of jobs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom's Vision 2030 aims to raise this percentage to 35% by 2030, and this percentage reaches about 70% in developed countries, The number of small enterprises reached 12% of the number of projects for the year 2018, and it contributes about 29% of the total revenues of enterprises, according to the data for the second quarter of 2016. The researcher recommends decision- makers and those who are interested in business leaders inside the Kingdom to overcome the challenges facing small projects and entrepreneurs by providing them with adequate support, whether material or logistical support or both together, and work to establish a financial fund to finance small and medium projects with low benefits, and share the fund with proportions Certain of the annual profits during a specific period, depending on the value of the loan, the size of the facility, the value of revenue, the idea of ​​the project, and converting the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Kingdom into an independent ministry whose mission is to take great care of small projects and For medium.

Despite the importance of promoting entrepreneurship in business activities to achieve a competitive advantage, a large proportion of business firms fail to make entrepreneurship a reality in their work. In addition, these constraints make it possible to gain a competitive advantage in the problems of the market in particular that modern markets are full of rivals and fast-paced changes in various variables. In light of this, the researcher carried out this study to investigate the role of entrepreneurship in achieving competitive advantage in SMEs. By using the descriptive-analytical approach, developing a questionnaire tool and distributing it to a sample of 100 administrators working in SMEs in Saudi Arabia. The results of the study showed that there is a positive relationship in the role of entrepreneurship in achieving competitive advantage in small and medium enterprises in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have been noted to play a significant role in promoting economic growth in less developed countries, developing and also in developed countries. Worldwide, the micro and small enterprises have been accepted as the engine of economic growth of any nation. Small and Medium Enterprises are the backbone of the economies, because it trigger employment, output, export, poverty alleviation, economic empowerment, economic development etc. in developed as well as in developing countries. It is more important to developing countries as the poverty and unemployment are burning problems. MSMEs have been playing a momentous role in overall economic development of a country like India where millions of people are unemployed or underemployed. Therefore, the growth of small sectors is essential for the growth in the GDP, employment generation, total manufacturing production and export. India, being one of the fastest growing economies of the world, needs to pay an honest attention for the utmost growth of MSMEs for its increased contribution in above areas.

The adoption of e-commerce technologies is an organization-learning process. Existing literature on the adoption has not been adequately addressed on this nature. This study develops a model and instrument to investigate the determinants of both initial adoption of e-commerce and its sophisticated extent in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in less developed countries' context. A model is tested empirically by using the data collected in Saudi Arabia. Since the sophistication of e-commerce is essential to gain full benefits from the technology, it is important to understand well influential factors of a decision of sophisticated adoption. Therefore, this present study is a necessary contribution to the literature.

The study is intended to determine The Role of Small Micro Enterprises in Production Snack and Product Innovation towards an Additional Community Economic in Tangerang City. Micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the economy of Indonesian society. Indonesia government also views the existence of MSME businessman as important. The existence of MSMEs can have an effect on increasing people's income and also with the innovation of snacks that can attract consumers. The method used quantitative which was taken, it can be conclude that Whereas t count is 6,453> t table is 1,985 and the sig o.oo value <0.05, this shows that the role of Micro and Small Enterprises in production snacks has a significant and positive effect on the addition of community economic income in Tangerang City. That t count is 5,568> t table is 1,985 and the sig o.oo value <0.05, this shows that product innovation has a significant and positive effect on the addition of community economic income in Tangerang City. Whereas F count is 161,927> from F table of 3.09 and sig value of 0,000 <0.05, this shows that the Micro and Small Entrepreneurs Production snacks together with product innovation have a significant and positive effect on the addition of community economic income in Tangerang City.

There is a lack of studies on innovations and competitiveness in Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Saudi Arabia; to fell this gap, this paper will study change as the competitive advantage for Small and Medium Enterprises: the case for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study aims to explore different practices of SMEs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to examine the impact of innovation strategies (Organizational, Product, Process, and Market) on the competitive advantage of SMEs. The study was conducted on one hundred and forty-seven (147) SMEs that are practicing different activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study's analysis indicates that most of the enterprises were young (operation years were less than ten years), which shows the strong need to apply innovative strategies to maintain their position and competitiveness in the market. Competitive advantage enables the firm to utilize its resources efficiently and maintain high levels of quality performance. The results show that the correlation between Innovation strategies such as product innovation strategy, market innovation strategy, process innovation strategy, and organizational innovation strategy practiced by SMEs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and competitiveness was Positive. Therefore, it indicates that different innovation strategies were significantly influencing the competitiveness of the SMEs. To remain a competitor enterprise in the market is not a natural or an easy attempt, and it can be challenging for SMEs, especially without the needed knowledge and support. Findings and recommendations of the study can be used as a guideline for SMEs. Also, emphasizing on the importance of education that plays a vital role in SMEs innovations. It is essential to establish with different research centers and universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia programs or activities that focus on changes in business, and it will result in gaining competitive advantage and sustainability for Small and Medium Enterprises in the market. Formulated speculations about supporting small and medium enterprises have their sources in various environments: political, economic as well as social. It shows how important is the role of small and medium-sized enterprises. The expansion of the SME support system at the program and institutional level becomes very important, which allows to obtain favorable conditions for their functioning and development. As a result, SMEs in the SME sector operate in a complex and dynamic environment with various aid factors. Support factors and their various forms can be a great opportunity for company development. This thesis author believes that state interventionism in Poland is necessary in this sphere of economy, since the consequence of Poland’s accession to the European Union was and still is the “collision” of Polish small enterprises with their competitors from the EU countries. The paper presents both economic and statistical as well as legal aspects of enterprises functioning on the SME market.

The role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in a country's economic growth is considered important. SMEs have a large and crucial contribution to the Indonesian economy. MSMEs have an important role in development and economic growth. The role of SME is not only felt in developing countries but also in developed countries. In developed and developing countries, MSME is very important, because it absorbs the most labor compared to large businesses. The contribution of MSMEs to the formation or growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is greater than the contribution of large businesses. However, in reality the amount is inversely proportional to quality. Many MSME actors whose HR quality is still low, both in education and technology. The low quality of human resources has an impact on their productivity. This study aims to find out how the Development Strategy of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in the Manufacturing Industry Sector in Bekasi District. The use of the Location Quotient (LQ) method is used to find out what business bases can be used by MSMEs based on LQ analysis calculations. The use of TOWS analysts deepens the discussion of what and how MSME strategies compete. From the LQ analysis calculation results it appears that Bekasi Regency, the processed industry business sector, is a leading sector with an LQ index number > 1. As we know, Bekasi Regency's economic strength is indeed sourced from the industrial sector. Furthermore, the SME development strategy is based on the TOWS analysis, with the characters in each of the different MSMEs. The strategies used include: SO (Strength Opportunities), ST (Strength Threat) strategy, WO (Weakness Opportunites) strategy and WT (Weakness Threat) strategy.

During the last two decades, there was unanimity around the importance of the role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the development of economies, of job creation and social stability. This issue concerns industrialized countries as well as developed countries. The purpose of this paper is to study the methods and the financing problems faced by Lebanese SMEs, as well as the behavior of banks in terms of credit allocation. An illustration is presented through a survey covering 56 SMEs: 16 SMEs belonging to the area of Kartaba and 40 SMEs belonging to Beirut suburbs. Moreover, and based on data collected from 30 credit files and on interviews held with important bankers, this paper try to identify the components of the credit assessment process, the risk acceptance criteria, and the categories of loans available for SMEs.
