The study aimed at identifying the extent to which Social and national education textbooks developed for the basic intermediate stage in Jordan included the contents of contemporary professional education. The study tool was developed in a list representing the contents of contemporary professional education. It consisted of three) fields: agricultural, industrial, commercial; (16) Guaranteed. The content analysis method has been used where the wholesale and semi-sentence and unit of analysis have been taken, down to the quantitative data of the duplicates and percentages. The results revealed The following: The agricultural field got 43.0%, the commercial field got 33.5%, while the industrial field got 23.4%, and this confirms that the books did not take into consideration the contents of contemporary professional education and the principle of sequence, and did not adopt a clear methodology, but rather a traditional, random curve in dealing with the contents of the study. The study recommended the following: Reviewing the content of the books of Social and national education developed for the basic intermediate stage in Jordan including the contents of contemporary professional education, and the extent to which they respect the principles of integration and sequence and the principles of self-learning and structural in addressing them.

This article analyses and identifies the extent to which the different pre- and post-independence typologies of governance in Benin have facilitated the promotion of lifelong learning as instrument for development. Relying on the thematic content analysis method, the article identifies three themes and three main typologies of governance spanning the independence preparation period and post-independence era. Of the three styles of governance, only the Marxist–Leninist government succeeded in promoting lifelong learning by default. Lifelong learning being one type of learning that promotes the re-engineering of society through the constant dissemination of knowledge, information and know-how and through the constant retooling of the citizenry for purpose of investment of their talents in ever renewable ways, Benin is called upon to prioritise the promotion of lifelong learning soon. Specifically, Benin has been advised to restructure her national educational sector by bringing the whole sector under one Minister of Education with a view to enabling a seamless interaction across all sections of the national education. This restructuring as described in Figure 1 within the article, would facilitate timeous access to knowledge, information and skills that would enable individuals to participate in different sectors of the economy and thereby advance rapid national socio-economic development.

Various disasters that occurred in Indonesia in early 2021 occurred in a row, starting from earthquakes, landslides to floods in various regions in Indonesia, and the National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) increasing. This research aims to find out the Instagram post @sar_nasional performance of BASARNAS during the disaster that occurred in Indonesia in early 2021. The content analysis method is used as the research method with the unit of analysis in posts on Instagram @sar_nasional from January 1 to January 15, 2021. The conclusion obtained in this study is that the posts on Instagram @sar_nasional lead to more content posts about BASARNAS's performance in the @sar_nasional Instagram post-BASARNAS participation in the Sriwijaya SJ-182 plane crash from Jakarta to Pontianak than the disasters that occurred in several places in Indonesia.Keywords: Content Analysis; Posts; Instagram; Performance; BASARNAS.

The research aims to identify the illocutionary act performed by Anna the secondary character in Frozen II. The research design of this paper is a qualitative framework in content analysis method. The unit of analysis was 218 utterances as illocutionary acts from the movie script. The utterances then were analysed and categorized into types of illoctionary acts. According to the result of the research, there are four types of illocutionary acts in the script, there are; 60 representatives utterances, 54 directives utterances, 5 commisives utterances, and 100 expressive utterances. Meanwhile, declarative utterance was not found

The purpose of this research is to find out; the concept of character education in the perspective of Ibn Miskawaih, and the relevance of character education in the modern era. This research is library research with content analysis method. The results showed that in shaping character, Ibn Miskawaih implemented four things. However, what is more emphasized is through habituation and practice, because these two methods are carried out continuously and repeatedly. Ibnu Maskawaih emphasizes character education in the world of education which is carried out from an early age and taught through the role of family, education, and society. If with current education the concept of Ibn Miskawaih's character education has relevance to the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003 as well as the character pillar which aims so that students not only learn to be intelligent, but also have noble personalities and morals.

Learning through digital environment has become both trend and necessities for today’s education. One of the latest virtual learning trends is the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). MOOC is spotlighted internationally and locally. Not only the internationally well-known, MOOCs, such as Coursera, edX, and Future Learn, many countries, including Indonesia, are also building their own MOOCs. However, how could this MOOC mode suitable for Indonesian learning culture? How would MOOC fit the Indonesian act of National Education System? In attempt to answer the questions, content analysis method would be used within the research through primary and secondary resources in the domain of MOOCs to see whether MOOC is potentially implemented in Indonesia based on the readiness of Indonesian learners to conduct self-study in digital environment and analysis on the act of National Education System.

ABSTRACT This study aims to map and analyze the performance of corporate social responsibility in the cigarette industry. This is done to assess the extent of the cigarette industry's contribution to the social aspects with the company's value benchmark. This research is a quantitative research using content analysis method. The unit of analysis in this study is the annual report of tobacco companies listed on the BEI. The results showed that market valuation had a significant effect on the performance of the social responsibility of cigarette companies in Indonesia on aspects of labor and human rights. In addition, the distribution of social responsibility contributions was less optimal so there needed to be rules that technically direct the activities of tobacco companies so that the benefits are acceptable to all stakeholders optimally. Keywords : cigarette, stakeholder, social responsibility.Correspondence to : [email protected] ABSTRAK               Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan dan menganalisis kinerja tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan padaindustri rokok.Hal ini dilakukan untuk menilai seberapa jauh kontribusi industri rokok pada aspek sosial dengan tolak ukur nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis konten. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah laporan tahunan perusahaan rokok yang terdaftar pada BEI. School administrators’ “frequent turnover” has been discussed intensively in the Turkish Educational System recently. Currently, principals are selected for 4 years after an interview conducted by a committee of directors of national education. After that period, they either go back to their classes or are chosen for another 4 years for the last time. This frequent turnover can be disruptive for schools. This study was conducted to determine school principals’ views on administration work and this frequent turnover. The study employed a qualitative research design. The participants were 20 principals chosen with maximum sampling method. The data were analyzed with content analysis method. Results revealed that most principals consider administration work as a professional and career profession which requires expertise, leadership qualities and education in educational administration. They also evaluate the selection system as problematic and limiting their work period with 4 years prevents them from realizing long-term projects. Finally, they think that the system works with political considerations clearly.

Bu araştırmada sığınmacılara yönelik paylaşımların yapıldığı sosyal medyada yer alan sözlüklerden birinde sığınmacılara yönelik algıya bakılmıştır. Yöntem olarak nitel desende olan bu çalışmada, bir sosyal medya sitesinde yer alan paylaşımlar içerik analizi yoluyla derinlemesine incelenip yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda sosyal medya kullanıcılarının sığınmacıları büyük bir güvensizlik ortamı ve huzursuzluk yaratan bireyler olarak gördükleri saptanmış, sığınmacılarla yaşanan deneyimlerin ve medyadaki haberlerin bu düşüncelerin oluşmasında etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bunun yanında sosyal medya kullanıcılarının devletin sığınmacılar konusunda yanlış politika izlediğini düşündükleri ve sığınmacılar için etkili bir planlama yapılmadığını ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. Çalışmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda medyada sığınmacılar hakkında çıkan haberlerde olumsuz ve şiddet temalı haberlerin azaltılması, Suriyeli sığınmacıların durumu, sahip oldukları haklar ve topluma yansımaları hakkında doğru ve bilgilendirici kamu spotları hazırlanması ayrıca sığınmacıların topluma entegre olma sürecinin her basamağında daha planlı ve etkili bir yol izlenmesi önerilebilir.ABSTRACT IN ENGLISHPerceptions about Syrian refugees on social media: an evaluation of a social media platformIn this research, posts which are about Syrian refugees were published in a social media platform, called as “sözlük” were investigated. The research is a qualitative research. The posts in this platform are analyzed with content analysis method. According to results of analyses, social media users see Syrian refugees as people who create an insecure and a restless environment. The experiences people had with them and news have an effect on this view. In addition, social media users think that government made inappropriate policies and ineffective plans about Syrian refugees. It is suggested negative news about Syrian refugees should be decreased and government should make safer policies. In addition, adaptation of refugees to society should be made in more planned and effective way.

Background. In this research, we aimed to investigate the effects of outdoor camps on orienteering athletes. Methods. The study group consisted of 74 athletes (44 males and 30 females, aged 11.94 ± 1.32 years) who participated in Bolu outdoor camp on the 3 rd –13 th of August, 2015. Interview technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used as data collection tool and content analysis method was used for data analysis. Results. Demographic factors were interpreted after the analysis of the obtained data and three main research questions were discussed under the topics of the views of athletes about the concept of Orienteering which is an outdoor sport, themes and codes regarding the purpose of Orienteering by the students who participated in the outdoor camp, and themes and codes about the outcomes of Orienteering for the students who participated in outdoor camps. Conclusion. It is suggested that a policy must be developed within the Ministry of Youth and Sport and Sport Federations in order to disseminate more deliberate and more comprehensive outdoor education among young people and measures should be taken to provide extensive participation.

This research examines the agenda and frames used by the Reporter newspaper editorial coverage of issues and actors before and after the reform in Ethiopia. The study applies a quantitative content analysis method and examined 99 (Period 1 = 57 and Period 2 = 42) editorials in all periods. The source of data and the period of data collection were purposely selected. The results indicated that societal issues, government, and party issues were frequent in both periods. The professional journalist was the only Author in both periods. More government criticism and more reforms were mentioned before the reform. Compared with editorials published before and after the reform, noticeable changes were observed in government critique, attribution of responsibility frames, human interest frames and economic issue frames. However, content selection, sources of information, mentioned reforms, conflict relationship frames, and ideological frames didn’t have relationship with the date of publication. Finally, the Reporter editorials coverage did change significantly in many respects, although it is difficult to determine the causes of the changes—economic factors, reduced political control, social changes or globalization forces.
