The aim of the study was to investigate moral judgment and its relationship with aggressive behavior among parental care deprived and non- deprived children at Majd Al Krum. The sample of the study consisted of (400) male and female students, of whom (200) parental care deprived children and (200) parental care non- deprived children at Majd Al Krum, Palestine in the 2018/2019 school year. To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher used Moral Judgment Scale developed by Abdel Fattah (2001), while Aggressive Behavior Scale was developed by the researcher. Validity and reliability for both scales were verified. The results of the study revealed low levels of moral judgment among parental care deprived children, while moderate levels of moral judgment were found among parental care non- deprived children at Majd Al Krum. The results of the study indicate high levels of aggressive behavior among parental care deprived children, while low levels of aggressive behavior were found among parental care non- deprived children at Majd Al Krum. There were no statistically significant differences in moral judgment and aggressive behavior level among parental care deprived and non-deprived children at Majd Al Krum due to gender. There were also no statistically significant differences in aggressive behavior among parental care non- deprived children at Majd Al Krum due to class level, while statistically significant differences were found in aggressive behavior among parental care deprived children at Majd al Krum due to class level, in favor of fifth grade students. The results revealed a statistically negative correlation between moral judgment and aggressive behavior among parental care deprived and non- deprived children at Majd Al Krum. Several recommendations and suggestions were presented including the need for future research on this category of children deprived and non deprived of Parental Care in the light of different variables such as emotional intelligence, psychological flexibility, and self-image.

  This study aimed to identify level of emotional stability and its relationship with constituting of friendships and family adjustment among students in the preparatory stage in Al- Buiena. The study sample consisted of (285) male and female students in the preparatory stage in Al- Buiena in Palestine in the second semester of the school year (2018/2019). To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher developed an Emotional Stability Scale, Constituting of Friendships Scale, and Family Adjustment Scale. Validity and reliability for the scales were obtained. The results showed that the levels of emotional stability and constituting of friendships and family adjustment among students in the preparatory stage were moderate. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between emotional stability and constituting of friendships and family adjustment among students in the preparatory stage. Several recommendations and suggestions were provided including the need for future research investigating the relationships between the emotional stability, and constituting of friendships, and family adjustment among other populations in the Palestinian society and using other student’s samples and to compare their results with the ones reported in the current study.

Recent approaches to moral judgment have typically pitted emotion against reason. In an effort to move beyond this debate, we propose that authors presenting diverging models are considering quite different prototypical situations: those focusing on the resolution of complex dilemmas conclude that morality involves sophisticated reasoning, whereas those studying reactions to shocking moral violations find that morality involves quick, affect-laden processes. We articulate these diverging dominant approaches and consider three directions for future research (moral temptation, moral self-image, and lay understandings of morality) that we propose have not received sufficient attention as a result of the focus on these two prototypical situations within moral psychology.

This study aims to develop an instrument for assessing student performance in elementary schools. The type of research and development used refers to the R&D theory of Borg and Gall. This study was conducted in three schools in Bandar Lampung. The sample data of this research were taken from the fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Perumnas Way Halim. For data collection, observation, questionnaires, and documentation were employed, with descriptive analysis of the percentage of expert and practitioner validation, followed by instrument analysis for validity and reliability. This finding indicates that the assessment performance instruments of students in elementary schools were developed with theoretical and practical feasibility. Suggestions and limitations for future research are also discussed.

The aim of this study is to examine Parental Authority Patterns and Relationship with Self-Assurance among Adolescents in the Upper Al-Galilee Area in light of gender and grade level. The sample of the study consisted of (177) secondary school students selected from public schools at Upper Al-Galilee Area in Palestine in the academic year 2015/2016. To achieve the objective of the study, the researchers used Parental Authority Patterns Scale developed by (Kuhar) and Self-Assurance Scale developed by alfet (2015). Validity and reliability for both scales were established. The results of the study arithmetic mean of the total score for the Parental Authority Patterns Among Adolescents in the Upper Al-Galilee Area showed was (3.2480), with a standard deviation (.51257), and the degree of appreciation is moderate. The study showed that Self-Assurance level among Adolescents was moderate. The Results of the study showed a positive significant correlation between Parental Authority Patterns as a whole and style democratic power on the one hand and the level of Self-Assurance Among Adolescents in the Upper Al-Galilee Area, And no significant correlation between the Authority authoritarian style and the level of Self-Assurance Among Adolescents in the Upper Al-Galilee Area. There were no significant differences in Parental Authority Patterns Among Adolescents in the Upper Al-Galilee Area due to gender and class level. and significant differences in the level of Self-Assurance Among Adolescents in the Upper Al-Galilee Area due to gender, in favor of females. and no significant differences in the level of Self-Assurance Among Adolescents in the Upper Al-Galilee Area due to class level. The study recommended the need for future research examining the Parental Authority Patterns and Relationship with Self-Assurance in other student’s population in the Palestinian society and compare their results with the ones reported in the current study.

The present study traces the dynamics of personal characteristics in youth and the manifested neurotic symptoms in the training process. These facts are the reason for the low levels of school results in the context of the existing theoretical statements of the problem and the empirical research conducted among the trained teenagers. We suggest that the indicators of neurotic symptomatology in youth – aggression, anxiety, and neuroticism, are the most demonstrated, compared to the other studied indicators of neurotic symptomatology. Studies have proved that there is a difference in the act of neurotic symptoms when tested in different situations, both in terms of expression and content. At the beginning of the school year, neurotic symptoms, more demonstrated in some aspects of aggressiveness, while at the end of school year, psychotism is more demonstrated. The presented summarized results indicate that at the beginning of the school year, neurotic symptoms are strongly associated with aggression. There is a tendency towards a lower level of social responsiveness, both in the self-assessment of real behavior and in the ideal “I”-image of students in the last year of their studies. The neurotic symptomatology, more demonstrated due to specific conditions in the life of young people and in relation to the characteristics of age.

This research aims to determine the significance of the difference in science learning results between the group of fifth-grade students in Gugus I Elementary Schools, North Kuta District, in the school year of 2017/2018, that take lessons with the multimedia-assisted probing-prompting learning model and the group of students that take lessons with the conventional learning. The design of this research is a quasi-experimental research with the nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research are all the fifth-grade students of Gugus I Elementary Schools in North Kuta District that still implement the KTSP, which consists of 10 classes with a total of 339 students. The sampling is conducted using the random sampling technique. The sample in this research are the students of class VB in SD (Elementary School) No.7 Dalung, with 36 students as the experiment group and the students of class VB in SD No.4 Dalung with 28 students as the control group. The data collection is conducted using the test method in the form of the multiple choice objective test. The science learning results are analyzed using the t-test. Based on the average the experiment groups =80,89 > the control group =72,85, which means that the multimedia-assisted probing-prompting learning model has an influence on the science learning result. Based on the hypothesis test, tvalues =4,517> ttable =2,000, with dk=62 and a significance level of 5%. Based on the test criteria, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be interpreted there is a significant difference the science learning result between the group of students that were taught using the multimedia-assisted probing-prompting learning model and the students that were taught using the conventional learning. It can be concluded that the the multimedia-assisted probing-prompting learning model has an influence on the science learning result of the fifth-grade students in Gugus I Elementary School, North Kuta District, in the school year of 2017/2018. After committing an offense, a transgressor faces an important decision regarding whether and how to apologize to the person who was harmed. The actions he or she chooses to take after committing an offense can have dramatic implications for the victim, the transgressor, and their relationship. Although high quality apologies are extremely effective at promoting reconciliation, transgressors often choose to offer a perfunctory apology, withhold an apology, or respond defensively to the victim. Why might this be? In this article, I propose three major barriers to offering high quality apologies: (1) low concern for the victim or relationship, (2) perceived threat to self-image, and (3) perceived apology ineffectiveness. I review recent research examining how these barriers affect transgressors’ apology behavior, and describe insights this emerging work provides for developing methods to move transgressors towards more reparative behavior. Finally, I discuss important directions for future research.

This article aims to develop a short form of the locus of control scale. The study was conducted in two stages: a study of 66 respondents as pilot testing which aims to test content validity, structure validity, and internal consistency. Study 2 was conducted on 328 respondents used to test the validity and reliability of the scale evaluated by the PLS-SEM method (such as internal consistency, convergent validity, and discriminant validity). The analysis concludes that the 8-item locus of control scales tested have adequate validity and reliability. The number of craft breweries in British Columbia has grown significantly in recent years,numbering over 140 in 2017. Very little is known about the effects of the craft brewery industryin British Columbia, specifically as it relates to impacts not related to brewery revenue and jobcreation. Beyond British Columbia, the craft beer industry has not empirically examined non-revenue impacts in a manner that reflects the global growth of the sector. Tourism experiences,such as those offered by craft breweries, are becoming increasingly important for resilience and sustainable growth and success of destinations. The goal of this research was to determine whovisitors to craft breweries are, how tourist and resident patrons differ, and what effects craftbreweries have on tourists who visit breweries. A 55 item survey was distributed at 11 craftbreweries in three regions in British Columbia during the summer of 2017. Results founddifferences between tourist and resident patrons in self-image congruency, age and travel partysize, but no difference in gender, education, or household income. From a tourism standpoint, itwas found that memories have a significant, positive impact on loyalty regarding the breweryand the destination. For tourists, strong connections were found between social involvement andboth authenticity and place attachment for those who were more socially involved in craft beer.Comparisons to previous research in the wine industry provide additional commentary.Implications for craft breweries, destinations, and future research in this area are discussed.

Abstract Introduction In Australia, health-related quality of life (HRQoL) instruments have been adopted in national population surveys to inform policy decisions that affect the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. However, Western-developed HRQoL instruments should not be assumed to capture Indigenous conceptualization of health and well-being. In our study, following recommendations for cultural adaptation, an Indigenous Reference Group indicated the EQ-5D-5L as a potentially valid instrument to measure aspects of HRQoL and endorsed further psychometric evaluation. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the construct validity and reliability of the EQ-5D-5L in an Aboriginal Australian population. Methods The EQ-5D-5L was applied in a sample of 1012 Aboriginal adults. Dimensionality was evaluated using Exploratory Graph Analysis. The Partial Credit Model was employed to evaluate item performance and adequacy of response categories. Area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) was used to investigate discriminant validity regarding chronic pain, general health and experiences of discrimination. Results The EQ-5D-5L comprised two dimensions, Physiological and Psychological, and reliability was adequate. Performance at an item level was excellent and the EQ-5D-5L individual items displayed good discriminant validity. Conclusions The EQ-5D-5L is a suitable instrument to measure five specific aspects (Mobility, Self-Care, Usual activities, Pain/Discomfort, Anxiety/Depression) of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HRQoL. A future research agenda comprises the investigation of other domains of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HRQoL and potential expansions to the instrument.
