This research aims to explain the direction of policy regarding supervision of Islamic banking in the banking system in Indonesia. The method used in this research is normative legal research using the statutory approach. The results of this research explain that the policy regarding supervision of Islamic banking in the national banking system in Indonesia is headed toward an independent direction. In Law Number 7 of 1992 and Law Number 10 of 1998, it is stated that supervision of Islamic banking is done by Bank Indonesia as the central bank. Based on Law Number 21 of 2008, supervision of Islamic banking is strengthened by not only being supervised by Bank Indonesia, but also by the National Sharia Council of the Majelis Ulama Indonesia by placing Sharia Supervisory Councils in each Islamic bank. After the ratification of Law Number 21 of 2011, supervision of Islamic banking moved from Bank Indonesia to an independent institution called the Financial Services Authority.

<p class="Style2">Maldives is a hundred percent Muslim country. Though the laws in Maldives are influenced by common law and civil law systems, the spirit of the laws are based on Islamic principles. However, when it comcs to the banking system, it is poignant to state here that the only known banking system to the country is based on conventional or usury friendly system. Up until now there are only six banks operating in the country. And none of them is an Islamic bank. It has been frequently questioned on why it is so difficult to set up an Islamic Bank in a hundred percent Muslim country? People say that the demand is there, so what is there to worry? But the truth is that the challenges we face are more than what any one could think of. As rightly pointed out, the demand for Islamic banking is there. But what about the legal infrastructure, political support and the economic resources which are needed to invest to convert the banking system? Lack of human resources in the country is also not a small problem. And political instability has exacerbated the situation. In the past years, there have been several failed attempts made to introduce the Islamic banking system to the country. But due to lack of proper legal frame work in the country and some other financial reasons Islamic banking were never introduced. The problem of a European Constitution is discussed at a fundamental level. In which way, can we speak about such a Constitution? Thearticle argues against the “postnational souveranism”, legitimating state against citizens. A new kind of citizenship is favoured based on extended social rights. The constitution now proposed contrarily makes the European Central Bank and its neoliberal policy to central and nearly unchangeable institution.

Abstract: The rapid development of the number of islamic banks should be balanced with the availability of infrastructure to carry out daily operational practices. The operational tools include hardware as like as representative office, computerized system, reliable human resources and software as like as method, culture and financial and islamic banking knowledge. In terms of development of Islamic finance is the paper "Alternative Calculation of Return Shahibul Mal on Mudharabah Scheme on Bank Syariah" was written. During this calculation of return shahibul mal has not been standardized in a formula, thus causing two serious effects. First, in the theoretical level, the formula has not yet created a difficulty. Secondly, in practical level, the formula is not impressive enough to recalculate the complexity of return calculations obtained by shahibul mall, causing laziness of the community using the services of islamic bank. This paper using mathematical and arithmetic equations with the help of modeling made by the author to refine and improve the method of calculation that has been available. The purpose of this paper is to create a standard formula that facilitates the calculation of return earned by a shahibul mal in a mudaraba scheme in a islamic bank.

A project for the long-term strategy of Russian break-through into post-industrial society is suggested which is directed at transformation of the hi-tech complex into the leading factor of economic development. The thesis is substantiated that there is an opportunity to realize such a strategy in case Russia shifts towards the mechanism of the monetary base growth generally accepted in developed countries: the Central Bank increases the quantity of "strong" money by means of purchasing state securities and allocates the increment of money in question according to budget priorities. At the same time for the realization of the said strategy it is necessary to partially restore savings lost during the hyperinflation period of 1992-1994 and default of 1998 and to secure development of the bank system as well as an increase of the volume of long-term credits on this base.

The review discusses the institutional theory of money considered in the books by King and Huber, and the conclusions that follow from it for economic policy. In accordance with this theory, at present the most of the money supply is created not by the Central Bank but by private banks. When a bank issues a loan, new money is created, and when the loan is repaid this money is destructed. The concept of sovereign money involves the monopoly of money creation of the central bank. In this case the most of newly created money is handed over to the ministry of finance to implement government spending.
