scholarly journals Monitoring and diagnostics of the quality of scientific and methodological work in the context of competence approach in higher pedagogical education

The article is devoted to the problem of monitoring scientific and methodological work in institutions of higher pedagogical education, in particular to the question of diagnostics of its quality in the context of the of the competence approach. The terminolog ical field of research is defined, the main purpose and tasks of creation of the monitoring system of scientific and methodological work in pedagogical institutions of higher education are outlined. Some features of monitoring research in the field of higher pedagogical education are characterized on the basis of consideration of the origin and development of the “monitoring” phenomenon, its classification, the identification of common and distinguishing features in definitions by different authors. Pedagogical diagnostics is considered as a factor in the development of scientific and methodological work, the elements of the model, directions of implementation and stages of diagnostic examination of various aspects of scientific and methodical work realization are named, and its results are predicted. On the basis of the results of scientific generalization, analysis of scientific and methodological work practice in pedagogical institutions of higher education, the key criteria of its quality are identified and the relationship of professional as well as scientific and methodological competence is established. The contradictions that determine the implementation and the main categories of competency approach, the place of scientific and methodological competence in the system of competences of the teacher of a pedagogical institution of higher education are determined. The connection of the process of forming the scientific and methodological competence of the teacher with the innovativeness of his activity at certain stages was fixed. The components of scientific and methodological competence structure are distinguished: epistemological, axiological, traseological, professional and personal. In the context of the conducted research, the object and indicators of the scientific and methodological competence formation of the teacher of a pedagogical institution of higher education were determined, the scheme of its formation was developed and the characteristics of individual levels were drawn up.

Abstract

Considering the challenges of education, teacher training is presented as a subject in constant discussion. Therefore, reflecting on the quality of the courses offered is essential to the solid construction of the training bases of professionals working in the job market. In this context, the city of Paço do Lumiar, due to population development and infrastructure, has shown an increase in demand for higher education places. Thus, this production approaches the relationship of supply / demand for vacancies with the quality of courses focused on teacher training, in this city. Therefore, the theoretical grounds, from the data and document analysis, were fixed in legislation in the history of higher education in Brazil and the current situation of basic education in Paço do Lumiar. This research has been made at the Franciscan Institute (IESF), a reference institution in the town, with pedagogy of graduate students, by interviews and questionnaires. Thus, this study arises from the concerns of the authors about education, which has one of its pillars with the formation of competent and qualified professionals.

Keywords : education, social development, teacher training, quality.

This quantitative, investigation was to explore mediating impact of emotional intelligence competencies on the relationship between conflict management styles and service quality of higher education. In this study, multi-stage cluster sampling technique was applied for the selection of sample whereas SPSS was used for testing the hypothesis which measures the direct and indirect effect. Structured questionnaires were used for data collection which comprised of 5 points Likert scale. The findings proved partial mediation to emotional intelligence competencies between the relationship of conflict management styles and service quality of higher education which indicates higher the emotional intelligence competency the staff has, would have the higher the ability to resolve day to day conflicts. The research suggests that faculty and staff training programs, workshops to improve service quality would help to narrow the gap between customer’s perceptions and expectations.

Cybersecurity attacks continue to increase. This is particularly true for attacks based on social engineering or relying on the weaknesses of individuals as a means of gathering information or crafting an attack. Along with an increase in attacks there is likewise an increase in the number of calls for educating users about attacks and equipping them with the knowledge and skills for warding off attacks. Many entities advocate that institutions of higher education should be responsible for providing practical, applied security awareness instruction. This study compared student and instructor attitudes towards security to determine if there is an apathy on the part of students regarding security or if they are concerned about selected security topics, and if instructors perceive that practical, applied security instruction is a necessary component to their courses, or if security instruction belongs elsewhere. The relationship of student attitudes towards security was compared with those of instructors over six current security topics. When comparing students to instructors to students there was no significant difference between them on the topics of using anti-virus software, using a firewall, securing wireless networks, and using spam filters. The results seem to indicate that there is a significant difference between the perceptions of students and instructors regarding the security topics of protection from phishing and how to create a strong password.

Objectively and reliably determined indicators of rheological properties of the dough were identified using the alveograph device to create a system of classifications of wheat and flour from it for the intended purpose in the future. The analysis of the relationship of standardized quality indicators, as well as newly developed indicators for identifying them, differentiating the quality of wheat flour for the intended purpose, i.e. for finished products. To do this, we use mathematical statistics methods.

The scientific problem of economics “Managing the quality of human life” is formulated on the basis of artificial intelligence, algebra of logic and logical-probabilistic calculus. Managing the quality of human life is represented by managing the processes of his treatment, training and decision making. Events in these processes and the corresponding logical variables relate to the behavior of a person, other persons and infrastructure. The processes of the quality of human life are modeled, analyzed and managed with the participation of the person himself. Scenarios and structural, logical and probabilistic models of managing the quality of human life are given. Special software for quality management is described. The relationship of human quality of life and the digital economy is examined. We consider the role of public opinion in the management of the “bottom” based on the synthesis of many studies on the management of the economics and the state. The bottom management is also feedback from the top management.

The article shows the need to develop diagnostic methods for monitoring the quality of lubrication systems, which makes it possible to study the dynamic processes of contacting elements of the friction systems of instrument mechanisms, taking into account roughness parameters, the presence of local surface defects of elements and the bearing capacity of a lubricant. In the present article, a modern diagnostic model has been developed to control the quality of the processes of production and operation of friction systems of instrument assemblies. With the help of the developed model, it becomes possible to establish the relationship of diagnostic and design parameters of the mechanical system, as well as the appearance of possible local defects and lubricant state, which characterize the quality of friction systems used in many mechanical assemblies of the mechanisms of devices. The research results are shown in the form of nomograms to assess the defects of the elements of friction mechanisms of the mechanisms of the devices.
