Abstract - The addition of new buildings especially in the shopping center building is often the case, it aims todevelop activities in old shopping buildings that are considered to have potential in maintaining or improving thequality of a shopping center, but the development can be a problem if in the initial development of a shoppingcenter has no plans for adding or thinking about the second stage of development for some time to come. As aresult, the designer must be able to create a connection circulation path in the building design that looks unitedbetween the old building and the new building into a unified whole, but there are several factors that must beadapted to the condition and state of the old building so that the resulting building can be continuous with eachother.This research will discuss about the circulation inside the shopping center building, especially on the continuitybetween circulation pattern of old building and new building of shopping building. The object used is electronicshopping center Istana Bandung Electronic Center or often called BEC located at Jalan Purnawarman no 13-15,Bandung.Qualitative method is done by collecting data from object of study in the form of plan, documentation of pictureor photo, study of literature, theories, and so on. Quantitative methods are carried out by listing the mobility ofvisitors within the building, especially in the path of meeting the circulation patterns between old and newbuildings in the BEC shopping area.The purpose of this research is to know the continuity of circulation pattern between old building and new buildingas one shopping center, seen from the ease of visitor mobility inside the building, and to know and to evaluate theeffectiveness of combined circulation pattern between old building and new building inside shopping area IstanaBandung Electronic Center.Key Words : continuity, circulation patterns, ease of visitor mobility, shopping center.

El Niño events vary from case to case with different decaying paces. In this study, we demonstrate that the different El Niño decaying paces have distinct impacts on the East Asian monsoon circulation pattern during post-El Niño summers. For fast decaying (FD) El Niño summers, a large-scale anomalous anticyclone dominates over East Asia and the North Pacific from subtropical to mid-latitude; whereas, the East Asian monsoon circulation display a dipole pattern with anomalous northern cyclone and southern anticyclone for slow decaying (SD) El Niño summers. The difference in anomalous East Asian monsoon circulation patterns was closely associated with the sea surface temperature (SST) anomaly patterns in the tropics. In FD El Niño summers, the cold SST anomalies in the tropical central-eastern Pacific and warm SST anomalies in the Maritime Continent induce the anticyclone anomalies over the Northwest Pacific. In contrast, the warm Kelvin wave anchored over the tropical Indian Ocean during SD El Niño summers plays a crucial role in sustaining the anticyclone anomalies over the Northwest Pacific. In particular, the opposite atmospheric circulation anomaly patterns over Northeast Asia and the mid-latitude North Pacific are mainly modulated by the stationary Rossby wave trains triggered by the opposite SST anomalies in the tropical eastern Pacific during FD and SD El Niño summers. Finally, the effect of distinct summer monsoon circulation patterns associated with the El Niño decay pace on the summer climate over East Asia are also discussed.

The distribution of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and pseudocholinesterase (BuChE) activities was studied by histochemical, quantitative and electrophoretical methods during the early development of chick limbs, from stage 16 to stage 32 H.H. (Hamburger & Hamilton, 1951). By quantitative methods, true AChE activity was found, and increased about threefold during the developmental period, together with a smaller amount of BuChE which increased more rapidly in comparison with the AChE activity from stage 25 to 32 H.H. Cholinesterase activity was histochemically localized mainly in interacting tissues, such as the ectoderm (including the apical ectodermal ridge) and the underlying mesenchyme. True AChE was histochemically localized around the nuclei and on the plasma membrane of ectodermal (including AER) and mesenchymal cells, and at the plasma membrane of mesenchymal cell processes reaching the basal lamina between the ectoderm and the mesenchyme. AChE together with BuChE activity was found in the basal lamina between the ectoderm and the mesenchyme, in underlying mesenchymal cells and in deeper mesenchymal cells, especially during their transformation into unexpressed chondrocytes. During limb morphogenesis, the cellular and regional localization of the enzyme activities showed variations depending on the stage of development and on the occurrence of interactions. The possibility of morphogenetic functions of the enzyme is discussed.

AbstractSimultaneous heatwaves affecting multiple regions (referred to as concurrent heatwaves), pose compounding threats to various natural and societal systems, including global food chains, emergency response systems, and reinsurance industries. While anthropogenic climate change is increasing heatwave risks across most regions, the interactions between warming and circulation changes that yield concurrent heatwaves remain understudied. Here, we quantify historical (1979-2019) trends in concurrent heatwaves during the warm-season (May-September, MJJAS) across the Northern Hemisphere mid- to high-latitudes. We find a significant increase of ~46% in the mean spatial extent of concurrent heatwaves, ~17% increase in their maximum intensity, and ~6-fold increase in their frequency. Using Self-Organising Maps, we identify large-scale circulation patterns (300 hPa) associated with specific concurrent heatwave configurations across Northern Hemisphere regions. We show that observed changes in the frequency of specific circulation patterns preferentially increase the risk of concurrent heatwaves across particular regions. Patterns linking concurrent heatwaves across eastern North America, eastern and northern Europe, parts of Asia, and the Barents and Kara Seas, show the largest increases in frequency (~5.9 additional days per decade). We also quantify the relative contributions of circulation pattern changes and warming to overall observed concurrent heatwave day frequency trends. While warming has a predominant and positive influence on increasing concurrent heatwaves, circulation pattern changes have a varying influence and account for up to 0.8 additional concurrent heatwave days per decade. Identifying regions with an elevated risk of concurrent heatwaves and understanding their drivers is indispensable for evaluating projected climate risks on interconnected societal systems and fostering regional preparedness in a changing climate.

An increasing need for flexible consultation between pathologists, including the application of fast evolving supplementary technologies, has been identified during the last years. Although pathology is already one of the most advanced application of telemedicine there is more to come from the fast evolution towards computerized microscope image analysis: A reproducible quantification of measurable descriptors of the lesions in cells and tissues (so‐called biological markers) is an indispensable adjunct to routine diagnostic application. Among such quantitative methods DNA image cytometry is increasingly applied by pathologists for assistance in diagnostics.As for other pathological issues, too, a reference center for the clinical application of DNA image cytometry might be therefore of utmost value for pathologists using that method.Based on advanced telematic technologies, a Virtual Reference and Certification Center (VRCC) could be installed for certifying the cytometry hardware and software, the analytical procedures, and the basic interpretation of the results. It will be designed to be operated as a non‐attended service, based on quantification servers accessible via Internet round the clock. The VRCC will supply appropriate standardization and normalization materials and run a GroupWare platform for consensus making by experts.

Abstract The interannual variation of springtime extreme precipitation (SEP) days in North China (NC) and their reliance on atmospheric circulation patterns are studied by using the continuous daily record of 396 rain gauges and the fifth generation of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts atmospheric reanalysis during 1979–2019. The SEP days are defined as the days when at least 10% of rain gauges in NC record daily precipitation no less than 10.5 mm. Results show that the number of SEP days shows large interannual variability but no significant trend in the study period. Using the objective classification method of the obliquely rotated principal analysis in T-mode, we classify the atmospheric circulation into five different patterns based on the geopotential height at 700 hPa. Three circulation patterns all have fronts and are associated with strong southerly wind, leading to 88% of SEP days in NC. The strong southerly wind may provide moisture and dynamic forcing for the frontal precipitation. The interannual variation of SEP days is related with the number of the three above-mentioned dominant circulation patterns. Further analysis shows that the West Pacific pattern could be one of the possible climate variability modes related to SEP days. This study reveals that the daily circulation pattern may be the linkage between SEP days and climate variability modes in NC.

Previous studies indicated that the air quality was improved in Wuhan during COVID-19 lockdown. However, the impact of atmospheric general circulation on the changes of air quality has not been taken into account. The present study aims to discuss the improvement of air quality in Wuhan and its possible reasons during COVID-19 lockdown. The results showed that all air pollutants except O3 decreased in Wuhan during early 2020. The occurrence days of A, C, W and NW types’ circulation pattern during early 2020 are more than those during the same period of 1979-2020. The occurrence days of SW type’s circulation pattern is slightly less than those during early 1979-2020. With more occurrence days of these dominant atmospheric circulation patterns, the number of polluted days could rise in Wuhan during early 2020. Nevertheless, this scenario didn’t occur. The COVID-19 lockdown did improve the air quality in Wuhan during early 2020.

Coupled with the help of technology, an online shop platform has emerged that makes it easy for visitors to shop without having to come to the store. With the help of electronic media tools such as tablets or Smartphones. Nowadays, malls are not only a place to shop but also a place for recreation, socializing, or just for a walk alone. The progress of technology and human culture is changing. It's one of the factors that influence the impact of the decline in visitors at the old shopping center, every year such as a Pasar Baru shopping center. Re-Imagine Pasar Baru is a project that aims as a motor/propeller for Pasar Baru Community. Inviting the local people and Shop Owners to take part in making a change. Through a new program that strengthens unity and diversity to bring the conciseness cooperation (Gotong-royong) attitude that has been lost with the development of the times. Creating a place where people can socialize and interact, get closer, get to know each other, and also as a means of recreation for residents, visitors, shop owners, and also this project hopes to bring the Pasar Baru shopping area to life. The article discusses the dynamics of economic development based on the level of digitalization of the countries. Economic development is evaluated through the dynamics of GDP changes. Digitalization level is evaluated through the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI), which is calculated on a regular basis by the European Commission. Object of study – 28 EU‑member countries. The hypothesis of the investigation: a high level of digitalization leads to an acceleration of economic growth on national level. This hypothesis did not find any statistically significant confirmation. Thus, we can conclude that the level of the economy digitalization at the present stage of development of technologies and institutions in the EU countries does not have a decisive effect on the rate of economic growth.

Absract Several enzymes involved in polyamine biosynthesis namely ornithine, arginine and S-adenosylmethionine decarboxylase as well as spermidine synthase, were analyzed in partially purified wheat extracts. For all enzymes effective inhibitors were found. Among them the most interesting was l-aminooxy-3-aminopropane, which inhibited all three decarboxylases. Classical polyamine biosynthesis inhibitors like difluoromethylornithine, difluoromethylarginine. methyl glyoxal bis- (guanylhydrazone) and cyclohexylamine were also inhibitory on plant enzymes. A remarkable difference in the amount of arginine and ornithine decarboxylase existed in wheat. Arginine decarboxylase seems to be more important at least during the early stage of development. Influence of polyamine synthesis inhibitors on polyamine levels is more likely to come from arginine decarboxylase inhibitors. As inhibitors of all essential enzymes involved in plant polyamine biosynthesis were found, the study of the importance of polyamines in plant physiology will be considerably facilitated.

Museum Tjong A Fie is one of the museum located in Medan City, North Sumatera. This museum was originally a residence of historical figures in the development of the city of Medan is Tjong A Fie originating from China. Museum Tjong A Fie has been designated as a cultural heritage building and used as a museum. This research will discuss Standard Operating Procedures and Visitor Circulation Pattern of Tjong A Fie Museum as a part that must be considered in the organization of the museum. The author uses data collection methods such as observation, interview and literature study and data processing methods through qualitative and comparative analysis. The theory used to refine the interpretation of the results of analysis is Management Theory. Based on the results of research found that the Museum Tjong A Fie has no SOP according to the standard and mandate of PP No. 66 Year 2015. Circulation pattern shows two circulation patterns are unstructured and structured. The recommendations offered include the need to develop SOPs in accordance with the mandate of museum legislation and governance.
