Abstract Jakarta is facing the reality of becoming one of the megacities in the world. As a megacity, Jakarta will continue to face critical problems, including environmental issues that occur not only in Jakarta but also in the surrounding areas. The research area is Pasar Baru, the oldest shopping area in Central Jakarta established in 1820. Naturally, this area should have a high historical value for the development of the City of Jakarta. This study explored the “shopping arcade” corridor from Kevin Lynch’s urban theory of “The Image of The City” to strengthen the implementation of re-planning the Pasar Baru in the future. This study aims to find how the view of The Image of The City can support the idea of re-planning the Pasar Baru from a tangible point of view, physically visible, and an intangible point of view through the spiritual approach of Feng Shui cosmography. The research uses qualitative methods supported by collecting data in literature reviews, surveys and analyzing them. The study found that the concept given by Kevin Lynch can help decision-makers of a city to be more responsible in making policies in designing a sustainable city to carry out conservation actions, not only political goals.

The implementation of regional autonomy adheres to the principle that financial sources originating from Regional Original Income (PAD) are more critical than sources outside PAD. Therefore, adequate financial sources are needed to finance the implementation of regional autonomy, one of which is through regional levies. One of the sources of revenue from sizeable regional user fees is parking fees. This sector is one of the essential sources of revenue because it always develops and develops an area (city). If it is appropriately managed, it can support PAD. This study aims to determine the number of potential parking fees in the shopping area of Klaten City and find strategies to optimize the potential for parking fees through surveys, observations, mathematical calculations, and comparative techniques to obtain an overview of the potential and conditions of the parking location. The results obtained include: 1) The potential for parking fees is currently Rp. 2,090,880,000.00 2) The efforts of local governments in increasing parking fees are not optimal 3) Strategies that can be used to increase parking fees can be done by establishing new regulations so that new potential the resulting amount will be IDR 2,471,040,000.00. Abstract The demand side of horse (sport) events, that is visitor expectations, experiences and satisfaction, has not been the subject of much research. This chapter focuses on visitor experience and satisfaction at Landsmót (the National Championship of the Icelandic horse), held in Iceland in Hella (2014), Hólar (2016) and Reykjavík (2018). An online survey was conducted among visitors following those three events where a total of 2318 visitors responded. Findings indicated the importance of intangible services at the venue and service-mindedness of staff. High demand for horse-related products and equipment was reported at the venues during the events, as well as demand for clothes and other products related to weather conditions during the events. Visitors desired greater variety of meals and access to a grocery store at the venues. There was a considerable difference in visitor satisfaction between the three events investigated. The 2016 event in Hólar ranked the highest in all factors evaluated, except those related to the shopping area where visitors wanted more variety of products. The score of the 2016 event for overall visitor satisfaction was 4.39 (out of 5). The 2018 event in Reykjavík scored 4.21 whereas the 2014 event in Hella ranked 3.64.
