This study aims at analyzing the tendency and change in the research on construction grammar from 2010 to 2020. Descriptively, this study includes the publication year, research topic, research direction, research content, and the research methods. Twenty-four CSSCI journals were selected as the research samples using the keyword – “Construction Grammar.” The research topics mainly include Chinese construction research, foreign language construction research, and comparative studies on Chinese and other language constructions. The results showed that there are many Chinese construction research, but the other two research topics still require improvement. Ontology research was the main focus; acquisition research and teaching research are worthy for further exploration. Case studies and theoretical studies were the most concerned contents, whereas studies on language acquisition, pedagogy, and corpus construction were feeble. Qualitative description and theoretical review were the most popular methods, while empirical, quantitative, and diachronic analyses were less frequently used. After analyzing the trends, it has been predicted that the research on construction grammar would continue to heat up in the future, and there would be more research directions and contents along with diversified research methods.

The paper discusses the concept corpus (criteria for corpora, classification of the corpora), corpus linguistics as science or as methodology, approaches (corpus-based approach and corpus-driven approach), research methods (quantitative and qualitative) and tools used in corpus linguistics from the perspective of German scientists. One focus of the work lies in the discussion of the relationship between corpus linguistics and German as a foreign language and in the application possibilities of corpus linguistics for research and teaching of the German language.

The article describes contextual-situational indirect speech acts in the form of a question, but realizing other communicative intentions – message, consent, motivation, expression of emotions. We are talking about statements with the same syntactic structure and lexical composition (homonymy of statements of different communicative types), in which the distinctive properties of intonation are most clearly manifested. The mechanism for generating these speech acts is pragmatic transposition. The materials of the article can be used both for further theoretical studies of transposed speech acts (including in a comparative aspect), and for the creation of communicatively oriented textbooks on Russian as a foreign language.

In recent years new didactic concepts and approaches have been developed and evaluated at the universities. The concept for cartography lectures presented in this article is based on the close link of research and teaching/learning. The students are involved in all essential steps of a scientific project taking place during a series of lectures – beginning with the development of the scientific issues, followed by the choice and execution of the research methods and finally the presentation of the achieved outcomes. The specific project introduced here is based on self-experiments in which students took the perspective of wheelchair users entrusted with the task to map places, which are accessible for people with impairments. Among others, the goal set for the students was to develop an appropriate concept for the mobile acquisition of data and to visualise the final results by different methods of cartography.

The chapter aims to explain the importance of ethics in research and teaching. First, it focuses on ethical studies. It expresses the implications that are necessary for a study to be ethical. The researcher has a vital role in conducting an ethical research. There are some critical points, which the researcher should take into account. For each field, various research methods are used. Therefore, different ethical codes and implications should be adapted in accordance with the research method in order to have ethical studies. In addition to research ethics, researchers also have a responsibility as an author to share his/her research with others by publishing it. Unethical behaviors such as fabrication, falsification, plagiarism will be explained. Lastly, a lecturer is responsible for giving lectures, teaching, and assessing the students. For a lecturer to assess its students fairly, s/he should be ethical. The lecturer should provide ethics in teaching.

For the full implementation of strategic goals of public administration, as well as a worthy representation of the interests of the state at the international level, civil servants must have high foreign-language professional competencies. Practical issues of educational and training programs in the field of development of these competencies are carefully studied by the author. The current state of the level of language training of future civil service students (undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates) at the Institute for Social Sciences at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration is analyzed. The analysis includes the definition and formulation of tasks, goals, curriculum technologies, qualification requirements of future civil servants, ways of improving the quality of their knowledge of foreign languages and improving the methodological support of foreign-language teaching, and the creation of textbooks and teaching aids to solve the above-mentioned problem, etc. The research methods include theoretical research, analytical research methods, methodology of empirical research and methods of comparative research. The conclusions are based on the results of the analysis. Ways of improving programs for better development of civil servants’ foreign-language professional competencies are outlined. Some recommendations for teachers and education managers are presented.

Internet finance is a financial mode combining traditional financial industry with Internet technologies, which has become a crucial part of the financial field. Due to the rapid change of information technologies and public financial needs, Internet finance has produced quite a few specific operation modes, which have interested many scholars. To better appreciate its development process and innovation modes, we used bibliometrics to analyze 2,877 articles on Internet finance in Web of Science. Through the co-word network, co-citation network and various results generated by CiteSpace, we recognized six main modes of Internet finance, that is, Internet bank, peer to peer lending (P2P lending), crowdfunding, big data finance, digital currency and fintech. Emerging research topics and the development history of each mode are also detected. We find that the mainstream modes in current research are P2P lending and crowdfunding and the research on fintech and digital currency has just begun. Through the review, we also suggest some research directions for the research direction of each mode. These results will help to deepen relevant scholars’ understanding of Internet finance and provide guidance for them to choose research directions.

Underactuated robotics is an emerging research direction in the field of robotics. The control input of the underactuated robot is less than the degree of freedom of the system. It has the advantages of lightweight, low energy consumption, excellent performance, and broad development prospects. This article reviews the state of the art on underactuated robotics. On the basis of previous studies, this article takes the non-holonomic constraint equation as the entry point to classify and summarize underactuated robot and their common mechanisms. The controllability of underactuated robot is further discussed. The control flow of underactuated robot is described based on the open–closed control method. In the closed-loop control, the control method based on the fuzzy system is mainly used. Finally, the difficulties in the current research of underactuated robot are summarized, and the future research directions are prospected.
