The aims of this study are to develop a Science Process Skills Based Module (KPS) on Cell-Level Life Organization Materials for Grade VII Students of SMP Kristen 2 Salatiga. This research is a research development (R & D) with an F-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), but in this study it does not cover the entire stages in the F-D development model, namely the disseminate stage because of the limitations of the time the research was conducted. The instruments in this study were interview sheets, validation sheets, and student response sheets. The results of module development research according to the expert validity test 3.1, test pedagogical validity 3.15, test the validity of practitioner experts 3.08, and limited field testing 3.37, from the overall data obtained shows that the average module values above 3.00 and is categorized as "A " that is very good. Modules with the category "A" are feasible to use in class VII students in the learning process. Keywords: module, Science Process Skills (KPS)

Practical skills play an important role in learning to achieve maximum learning outcomes. Lack of involvement in skills activities has an impact on learning outcomes achieved by students. This study aims to analyze the improvement of science process skills and student learning outcomes by applying the discovery learning model and the use of a virtual laboratory. The research method was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population was 165 students of class XI IPA who came from two schools. The research sample was 113 students, 57 experimental group and 56 control group. This research was conducted in MAN 1 and MAS Oemar Diyan Aceh Besar, Aceh, Indonesia. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The parameters measured were science process skills and learning outcomes, data collection instruments were multiple choice questions with pretest-postest techniques. Science process skills data and learning outcomes were analyzed using parametric statistics using the independent sample t test. The results showed the correlation between science process skills and student learning outcomes was obtained r = 0.842, this indicates that between science process skills and student learning outcomes has a positive corelation with strong interpretation after being taught with the application of discovery learning models and the use of virtual laboratory on excretory system topic

Learning materials developed include: lesson plans, student worksheet, student book, and achievement test. This design research is developmented research using Dick & Carey with the tryout of the teaching materials used one group pre test and post test design. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive. the results showed that (1) validation leson plans quite well category, student worksheet , and student book good enough category, item test is generally valid, and legibility of student book 76% responded positively legibility, student worksheet 82% responded positively (2) lesson plans category quite well, student activities categorized well, and constraints experienced during the study include: the implementation of the Teaching and learning Activities require a long time, there are students who break the tool and less active at the meeting to two, (3) student response categorized excellent learning, mastery of the knowledge aspect of 89.47%, completeness aspect of science process skills 86.84%. Students experiencing learning outcome aspects of knowledge 84,21% higher category. Based on the result of the development of chemistry learning package main material acid base titration using the inquiry model integrated with concept maps strategy produced was feasible so it can be used in learning to improve student learning outcomes.
The aim of this research was to determine the analysis of science process skills in textbooks of chemistry grade XI in SMA N 1 Teras, Boyolali. This research used the descriptive method. The instruments were developed based on 10 indicators of science process skills (observing, classifying, finding a conclusion, predicting, raising the question, hypothesizing, planning an experiment, manipulating materials, and equipment, Applying, and communicating). We analyzed 3 different chemistry textbooks that often used by teachers in teaching. The material analyzed in the book was solubility and solubility product concept in terms of concept explanation and student activity. The results of this research showed different science process skill criteria in 3 different chemistry textbooks. Book A appeared 50% of all aspects of science process skills, in Book B appeared 80% of all aspects of science process skills, and in Book C there was 40% of all aspects of the science process skills. The most common indicator in all books was observing (33.3%), followed by prediction (19.05%), classifying (11.90%), Applying (11.90% ), planning experiments (9.52%), manipulating materials and equipment (7.14%), finding conclusion (4.76%), communicating (2.38%). Asking the question and hypothesizing did not appear in textbooks.
