This research is a classroom action research. This research was carried out at Maarif MakassarVocational School. This study involved class X students with a total of 30 students. the purposeof this study was to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language for students of classX Maarif Makassar Vocational High School. This study uses 2 cycles with each one cycle of 3meetings. Based on the implementation of learning and discussion of the influence of theprocess skills approach in class X. So the authors can conclude that efforts to improve learningoutcomes and student involvement in the learning process in Indonesian subjects can be donewith active learning. The results of this study prove that the process skills approach is able toincrease student activity and involvement in the learning process and also improve studentlearning outcomes.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan aktifitas siswa terkait konsep perhitungan luas daerah yang dibatasi kurva melalui metode pemberian pelajaran antar siswa. Penelitian ini didasari karena adanya kendala dalam proses belajar mengajar, yaitu keseganan siswa bertanya kepada guru. Hal ini disebabkan beberapa hal seperti kurangnya rasa percaya diri, tidak memiliki persiapan dalam menerima materi, dan takut bertanya. Selain itu, pembelajaran di sekolah masih menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode pemberian pembelajaran antar siswa, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan aktifitas siswa dalam pembelajaran dan pemahaman konsep menghitung konsep luas daerah. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah XII IPA 1. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa metode pemberian pelajaran antar siswa dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa ditandai dengan: meningkatnya keterlibatan siswa dalam memperoleh pengetahuan ,meningkatnya rasa keingintahuan, meningkatnya kerja sama antar siswa. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pemberian pelajaran antar siswa dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep yang ditunjukkan oleh meningkatnya hasil belajar, meskipun pada beberapa konsep yang membutuhkan penguasaan siswa terhadap materi prasyarat metode ini belum menunjukkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.Kata kunci: aktifitas siswa, pemahaman konsep, luas daerah, pemberian pelajaran antar siswa Abstract — This research was conducted to Improve student activities and understanding of the concept in calculating the width of area bounded by curve through the method of providing lessons among students in 12th grade science. This research is based on some problems in learning process, such as the reluctance of students to ask their teacher. This is caused lack of preparation in receiving material and fear of asking. In addition, learning in schools still uses conventional learning. Therefore, this research uses a method of providing learning between students. The objective of the research is to increase students’ activity in the classroom and understand the concept. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The subject of this research was XII IPA 1. As a result, students are less able to develop creativity in the learning process in the classroom. The results of the study concluded that the method of providing lessons among students can increase student activity, marked by: increasing student involvement in gaining knowledge, increasing curiosity, increasing cooperation between students. The conclusion of this study shows that the method of providing lessons among students can improve the understanding of concepts shown by increasing learning outcomes, although some concepts that require student mastery of the prerequisite material on this method have not been shown to improve learning outcomes.Keywords: student activities, understanding concept, area, giving learning between students.

The classroom action research as always been one of the most important learning process issues at school. Due to this importance, a research to improve activities and student learning outcomes needs to be done. This paper is focus on how to improve activities and student learning outcomes through Cooperative Teaching Type A (Divisions of Achievement) STAD Class X SMA PKP DKI Jakarta. This research will be devided into three cycles to analyze classroom action research. In the first cycle, student activity are increased reached the average of 57, the second cycle average 66 and the third cycle average 85. In the first cycle, teacher activity in learning process is also increased reached the average of 75, the second cycle average 82 and the third cycle average 86. In the first cycle, the competence of students are increases by implementing Cooperative Teaching STAD reached the average of 67, the second cycle average 70 and the third cycle average 81. It can be concluded that the application of STAD cooperative teaching can increase the students and teachers activity of learning process and can create the atmosphere of learning more comfortable and fun.

In classical learning approach, conventional lecture method is commonly used by teachers in implementing learning process in classes.  The teacher becomes the main source of learning.  The current student’s habit that tends to be passive and individualistic resulted in a passive and monotone learning.      To overcome these problems, I was interested to implement the model of numbered heads together in learning Physics in the Class VII B of SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. The purpose of this learning approach is to enable students to develop cooperative skill and more active learning of physics and to improve learning results. This research is a class action research, which were performed in two cycles.  All students’ activities in the class were observed and recorded in observation sheet, consisting of teacher observation sheet and student observation sheet. To find out the learning outcomes, formative test was performed using a written instrument form.  The results show the increase of students’ discipline, cooperation, liveliness, timeliness in learning Physics.  In addition, the learning model also increases the students’ learning outcomes. The average learning results increased to 75.38 (increase 3.25 points).  To conclude, the implementation of Number Head Together increase students’ discipline, cooperation, activities, and timeliness.  The model also increase the Physics learning outcome of student in SMP Negeri 5 Kota  Jambi.

Abstrak Penelitian pengembangan lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar peserta didik, menggunakan konsep mind mapping yang maksimal, mampu menciptakan proses belajar yang aktif, dan menyenangkan pada pembelajran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA Al Azhar kelas XII. Pengembangan LKPD pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berkonsep mind mapping digunakan sebagai media bahan ajar untuk membantu peserta didik atau mempermudah peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Dengan begitu, peserta didik cenderung tidak kesulitan ketika pembelajaran tanpa adanya acuan media bahan ajar (LKPD). Pengembangan LKPD dalam penelitian ini menggunakan konsep mind mapping yaitu suatu peta konsep pikiran yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mudah mengingat banyak informasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengacu pada model penelitian dan pengembangan Dick and Carey. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskripsi kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKPD dengan konsep mind mapping pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia layak digunakan sebagai media ajar guna meningkatkan kualitas belajar peserta didik. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi menyatakan LKPD layak digunakan dengan persentase sebesar 76,36%, sedangkan dari ahli desain media pembelajaran diperoleh tingkat pencapaian kelayakan sebesar 84,44%. Uji kelayakan teman sejawat mencapai 83,63% dan uji coba pada peserta didik kelas XII SMA Al Azhar diperoleh tingkat pencapaian kelayakan sebesar 93,9%. Kata kunci: lembar kegiatan peserta didik, konsep mind mapping, bahasa Indonesia   Abstract The research on the development of student activity sheets (LKPD) aims to improve the quality of learning of students, use the maximum mind mapping concept, is able to create an active and enjoyable learning process in learning Indonesian in Al Azhar High School class XII. The development of LKPD on Indonesian language subjects with mind mapping concept is used as a medium of teaching materials to help students or facilitate students in learning. That way, students tend to have no difficulties when learning without reference to the instructional material media (LKPD). The development of LKPD in this study uses the concept of mind mapping, which is a mind concept map that is used in the learning process easily remembering a lot of information. This research is a research and development that refers to the Dick and Carey research and development model. Data was analyzed by using quantitative description. The results of this study revealed that Indonesian Language LKPD Lessons Conceptual Mind Mapping is worthy of being used as a teaching media to improve the learning quality of students. The results of the validation from the material expert stated that the LKPD was feasible to use with a percentage of 76.36%, while the expert of learning media design obtained an attainment level of 84.44%. Peers' feasibility test reached 83.63% and trials on class XII students of Al Azhar High School obtained an achievement level of 93.9%. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeksripsikan nilai- nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas X A-3 SMKN 1 Bulango Utara, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil observasi proses pembelajaran, hasil wawancara, dan deskripsi hasil studi dokumen. Selanjutnya, data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Indonesia di SMK Negeri 1 Bulango Utara belum sepenuhnya mengandung nilai-nilai berkarakter. Nilai-nilai karakter yang selalu muncul adalah jujur, bertanggung jawab, percaya diri, ingin tahu atau cinta ilmu, dan menghargai orang lain. Sementara itu, nilai-nilai karakter yang intensitas kemunculannya kurang dalam setiap pembelajaran adalah bernalar (berpikir logis, kritis, kreatif, dan inovatif), santun, dan disiplin. Hasil pembelajaran mencakup hal-hal berikut: (a) objektivitas pembicaraan, (b) kualitas isi pembicaraan, (c) sasaran atau arah pembicaraan, dan (d) gaya berbicara.Kata kunci: keterampilan berbicara, nilai karakter, bahasa Indonesia, siswa SMKMORAL VALUES IN THE LEARNING OF INDONESIAN SPEAKING SKILLSAMONG VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AbstractThis study aims to describe moral values in the learning of speaking skills. The research subjects were 23 students of Grade X A-3 SMKN 1 Bulango Utara, Gorontalo Regency. The data were the results of observations on the learning process, interviews, and description of the document study. The data were analyzed by the interactive model. The results show that the learning process of Indonesian speaking skills at SMK Negeri 1 Bulango Utara has not fully emphasized moral values. The values that always come up are honesty, responsibity, confidence, curiousity or love of science, and respect for others. Meanwhile, the values that rarely appear in learning are reasoning (logical, critical, creative, and innovative thinking), politeness, and discipline. The learning outcomes include: (a) the conversation objectivity, (b) the quality of the conversation content, (c) the goal or the direction of the conversation, and (d) the speaking style.Keywords: speaking skills, moral values, Indonesian, vocational high school students

ABSTRACTThe choice of the problem of classroom action research is based on the fact that students' ability to read news texts is still very low. Whereas with the mastery of Indonesian language lessons in general students do not have difficulty learning other subjects. This research was conducted in July to November 2015, because in those months the students had completed the first semester of the general exam and were still at the beginning of the second semester so that the students' conditions could be observed from the beginning.Cooperative Method STAD is a learning method wherein the learning process teaches the teacher to invite students to work together in groups to complete assignments in the classroom and allow students to find information on information that can be traditionally told or disguised.From this writing it can be concluded that with the motivation in learning STAD cooperative learning methods the students' ability to read news scripts increases and learning outcomes will be optimal. The more precise the motivation given, the more successful the lesson will be. With high motivation, the intensity of student learning efforts will also be high. So motivation will always determine the intensity of student learning. This will improve student understanding.Keywords: Reading News Scripts, Cooperative STAD

The objective of this research was to find out whether there was an increase on students’ and teacher’s activity, students’ creativity, and students’ writing skill through the implementation of project based learning (PjBL). The research design was a classroom action research. The subjects were the first graders of class Tata Kecantikan Kulit (TKK) or Skin and Beauty Treatment at Vocational High School State 3 Metro, known as SMKN 3 Metro, in the second semester, academic year 2015/2016. This action research was done by doing: 1) planning; 2) implementation; 3) observation and data collection; and 4) reflection. Meanwhile, the PjBL was done through six steps, i.e.: 1) determining the project; 2) planning the steps of doing the project; 3) scheduling the project implementation; 4) completing project with guide and supervision from the teacher; 5) making report and presenting project result; 6) evaluatiing process and project result. The instruments of this research were students and teacher observation, creativity assesssment, and writing skill assesssment. The findings showed that the students’ and teacher’s activity gradually increased in each cycle. PjBL implementation also seemed to be effective in increasing the students’ creativity and writing skill. It indicated that by applying PjBL, the aspects of students’ and teacher’s activity in learning process, students’ creativity and writing skill could be directly influenced by the treatment.Key words: PjBL, activity, creativity, writing skill

This study is a classroom action research (CAR) about the application of articulation methods in improving the understanding of class X IPA 2 students of MA Al Mahrusiyah Lirboyo Kota Kediri. This study involved 34 students consisting of 34 women. In this study, the meeting was held for 4 times, 2 meetings applied an active learning strategy for the articulation model, one meeting held a pre-test and once again held a post-test. Each meeting for each cycle is explored with planning so that each research researcher prepares: 1. Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) using articulation methods, 2. LKS, and 3. Preparing learning methods. The results of the findings of the research conducted increased learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, this is also because the role of the teacher performs the learning process with articulation learning models with power point learning media.

<p align="justify">The learning process is a part that plays an important role in the success of learning. The selection of the right method is one way for the learning process to work as expected. Peer tutoring method is one of the interactive learning methods involving students who are competent in the material taught so they can provide learning guidance to other students. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge and skills through the application of peer tutoring methods. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles with 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were 34 vocational high school students. Data collection methods used include observation, tests, performance and interviews. Test the validity of the data using data triangulation. The research data was analyzed using a comparative descriptive percentage analysis technique. From the data obtained shows that the application of peer tutoring methods can improve student learning outcomes by 88.23% in the realm of knowledge and 91.17% in skills. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of peer tutoring methods can improve the learning outcomes of Vocational High School students.</p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap terjadinga peningkatan motivasi dan pemahaman siswa SMK kelas X dalam pembelajaran dasar-dasar teknik digital melalui media simulasi EWB.Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan malalui empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Negeri 5 Banjarmasin dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Audio Video. Penelitian melibatkan dua orang kolaborator untuk membantu dan mendampingi peneliti memonitor dampak dari tindakan yang diberikan terhadap motivasi dan pemahaman siswa. Perubahan dari tindakan yang diberikan diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan kolaborator. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan tes pemahaman. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara diskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut : (a) penggunaan media simulasi EWB dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran terutama dalam hal perhatian siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, (b) penggunaan media simulasi EWB dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran yang disampaikan, (c) peningkatan pemahaman yang paling signifikan setelah guru menggunakan media simulasi EWB terjadi pada siswa dengan kemampuan rendah. THE IMPROVEMENT OF STUDENT MOTIVATION AND COMPREHENSION IN MDTD LEARNING PROCESS AT SMK N 5 BANJARMASIN WITH EWB SIMULATION MEDIAAbstractThis study is aimed at improving motivation and comprehension student at year-10 of vocational high school in basics of digital applied learning process with EWB simulation media. This study was classcroom action research conducted in four steps, i.e. planning, acting, observating, and reflecting. The subject of research was year-10 students of audio video technology of SMK N 5 Banjarmasin. Two collaborators were assigned to back up and assist the researcher to monitor the effects of action on student motivation and comprehension. The changes due to the action are monitored through observation by involving the two collaborators. The techniques for collecting the data were observation, interview, and comprehension test. The collected data was analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show the followin: (a) using EWB simulation media can improvement motivation of student specially interesting on material instructional which communicated and student being active in learning process, (b) using EWB simulation media can improvement student comprehension toward material instructional which communicated, (c) the improvement comprehension after the teacher using EWB simulation media for lowest abilities is significant.
