The article presents the results of an empirical study of the experience of frustration in students - future psychologists based on previously developed theoretical model of this emotional-behavioral phenomenon. On the basis of valid psychodiagnostic techniques, an empirical study of the emotional and behavioral components of frustration among students of the first and fourth educational courses was conducted, and the assumption was made that the main criteria for the manifestation of frustration in future psychologists are the orientation and fixing a behavioral reaction in response to a negative emotional state that arises from unmet need.A qualitative analysis of the empirical data traces the relationship between the components of frustration as a deterministic influence of the frustration state on frustration behavior. At the same time, mutual determination emerges as the need for the subject to overcome the negative state through the exercise of frustration more than to satisfy the need.The article consists of introduction, statement of the purpose and tasks of the article, presentation of the main material and conclusions.

Abstract The main goal of the current study is to analyze the relationship between leaders' empowerment, radical innovation and organizational performance. A total of 300 Spanish companies participated in the study. In total, 600 valid questionnaires were obtained. Structural equations were used to validate the proposed hypotheses. Two different respondents in each company were selected to provide information. All the hypotheses proposed in the theoretical model were confirmed. This research provides empirical evidence of the relationship between leaders' empowerment and organizational performance, highlighting the mediation role played by radical innovation. Leaders who empower, promote radical innovation and, in turn, performance. To our knowledge, this is the first empirical study that analyzes the effect of leader's empowerment on radical innovation. Although in the former literature there are evidences of a positive relationship between empowerment and innovation, there are no studies that differentiate between innovation typologies.

AbstractRecent years have witnessed a growing interest in the relationship between academic language registers and school success in the German-speaking education system. However, we still know very little about the actual effects that academic language has on the academic performance of students, for instance, in how far the extent to which academic language is used in subject tasks actually makes these tasks more difficult. It is therefore highly vital that any operationalization of difficulty-inducing linguistic features of tasks is made on solid theoretical and empirical grounds. The purpose of this article is thus to present the linguistic foundation used in an interdisciplinary empirical study in which 1.346 7th and 8th graders solved a set of subject-oriented tasks from Maths, Physics, German, PE and Music, while the degree of linguistic demands in the tasks was systematically varied. First, the theoretical and empirical research on linguistic difficulty from a range of research discourses is discussed. The findings are merged into a model of linguistic demands. Its operationalization is then illustrated in three linguistically varied versions of the subject-specific tasks. Finally, an outlook on preliminary results of the empirical study is given, which indicate that the categories used in the model actually do produce differences in subject-task difficulty, even though there are a number of effects that need further investigation.

Previous research has indicated that many people often take extra time to consider existing information. They do so possibly in order to acquire more information, or even to “wait” in the hope that new information may be forthcoming before they make a decision. However, recent studies have provided scant information about how waiting affects a person's choice given different emotional states. In this paper, an experimental study was carried out to demonstrate and explain the relationship between waiting and a person's choice. Results show that when conditions are certain, more people choose to wait – when they are in a positive emotional state – in order to maintain their current mood. However, under either certain or uncertain conditions, when people are in a negative emotional state they prefer to take immediate action rather than wait. The causes and implications of this phenomenon are discussed in relation to the existing literature on emotions and choice.

The problem of pension financing in the system of mandatory pension insurance in the Republic of Serbia became actual after the great economic crisis of the 1990s, although this problem had been present before. Accordingly, considerable attention has been paid to the analysis of determinants of pension expenditures. Considering the fact that in the Republic of Serbia the possibilities for reducing expenditures in the system of mandatory state pension and disability insurance have already been exhausted by reforms so far, it is necessary to consider other measures and possibilities for changing the design of the pension disability system. Therefore, the subject of this paper is the analysis of the relationship between pension beneficiaries, the type and amount of pensions. The aim of the paper is to analyze the influence of the pension beneficiary and the type of pension on the amount of the pension, based on the analysis of the collected data.

The article is devoted to predicting and preventing urban vandalism. In the article described current state of research on structure of vandalism – motives, attitudes, ideas. It is shown that the activity approach can serve as a theoretical basis for study of the internal plan of vandal actions. On its basis, a theoretical model is determined, including the motive of vandalism and the ideas that regulate its implementation. These are the subjective value of vandal action and value that subject attaches to vandal action. The organisation, procedure and results of empirical research are described. Using a sample of young people living in 106 Russian cities (n = 650 people), we study the relationship between subjective ideas about the ability to commit a vandal act, its motives, attributed value and meaning. The results show that there is a conjugate effect of these representations on subjective ability to behave like a vandal. Their interpretation shows the presence of opposite approaches to the assessment of vandalism – from rejection to acceptance.

This research aims to identify the factors that support and hold back the linkage between enterprises and universities. The subject of investigation and survey of the theoretical model is based on a survey of 269 enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. The research identified four factor groups affecting the relationship between enterprises and universities. Among them, two supportive factor groups are context and organization factors; and two inhibitive factor groups are difference in the characteristics of activities and in the perception of enterprises about universities. The research proposed a more complex measuring scale of activity differences affecting the cooperation between enterprises and universities. The aim of the research results is to increase linkage executions between enterprises and universities nowadays.

Like cognitive processes, mental states are subject to neurophysiological justification according to the length, quality characteristics, validity and self-regulation of functions it is distinguished by its ability. In addition, many researchers believe that mental development the dynamic interaction of these aspects of the psyche at all stages and he noted the unity that exists in the interaction. The close connection of cognitive processes and emotional state is determined by the one-sidedness of the subject, which is expressed in the selectivity of attention and emotional the brightness of cognitive processes. Methodological foundations of the study relationship between mental state and cognitive processes can serve as a theoretical the relationship model. This scientific article is considered to study the relevant issues cognitive and emotional components in psychology. For today’s day, specific works in these areas are not available. This paper explores the relationship between Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility (or Organizational Social Responsibility). To this end, the document is based on a case study about a Colombian long-tradition firm known as Organización Carvajal, which has extended its activity all over Latin America. The case study covers the period 2008-2015, between the arrival of a non-family CEO to the last year containing enough information about the subject at the research time. The relationship between the Corporate Governance and the Organizational Social Responsibility is studied based on a model that considers the interest of the majority-owners-block-family and CEO about the firm outlays for the Organizational Social Responsibility. The presentation is built as follows: first, central issues of the disciplinary context are shown. They are centered on placing the Corporate Governance-Organizational Social Responsibility relationship in Multilatinas among the organizational discussion. Second, the literature review explains the conceptual frame to visualize both the relationship mentioned above and the fieldwork. This part sets the theoretical model used as a referent. Finally, the case is described, discussed and the conclusions incorporated. The findings suggest that the CEO – owner agency problem in this Multilatina is not significant enough to become the main reason to alter the relationship between Corporate Governance and Organizational Social Responsibility.

The self-control theory of psychopathology has contributed to the understanding and treatment of unipolar depression. This paper explores the relationship between self-control skills as measured by the Frequency of Self-reinforcement Questionnaire and other negative emotional states, with a focus on hostility. In Study 1, scores on the Brief Symptom Inventory were inversely related to self-control skills among a sample of 53 college students, suggesting potential generalizability of the theory. In Study 2, self-control skills were inversely related to hostility, anger, and aggression among a sample of 68 college students. The role of self-control skills in the regulation of hostility deserves further investigation.
