The high efficiency of the technological process of surface soil compaction using vibration and vibro-impact treatment hasbeen determined. High degree intensification of the soil compaction process is achieved by using original inertial vibratoryrammers with a hydro-pulse drive. A new mathematical model has been developed for the surface soil compaction processesstudy by the inertial vibratory rammers. Using numerical modeling, work dependencies are obtained to determine the mainoperating characteristics for the technological process of surface soil compaction by inertial vibratory rammers based on ahydro-impulse drive.

The article is devoted to determine the technological parameters of soil compaction by rollers according to soil properties in construction. The compaction of the soil occurs due to certain force loads on the soil. Nowadays, there are enough methods to determine the technological parameters of soil compaction process, however, there are few research methods that consider the system of soil-machine-technological parameters. The urgency of the soil compaction process, which ultimately determines the quality of construction products, was emphasized. The basic physical and mechanical properties of soil and technological parameters of the compaction process were given. Analysis of discrete mathematical model of interaction between roller and soil was carried out in order to determine the technological parameters of soil compaction process in the field of construction technologies. A rheological model to describe the soil properties was used. The differential equations of the interaction between roller and soil have been made. A numerical calculation method to solve the differential equations has been proposed. The basic technological parameters of soil compaction process by rollers have been determined - the thickness of soil layer to be compacted, the number of the roller passes, and the speed of the roller movement. The methodology of theoretical and experimental researches of interaction between roller and soil has been proposed in order to clarify the mathematical model and to find the technological parameters of the compaction process. Experimental research methods are based on the determination of the stress-strain state of soil and on the Fourier analysis of the experimental data. Fourier analysis of the experimental data makes it possible to analyze the qualitative energy spectrum of the interaction between roller and soil to determine the rational amplitude-frequency characteristics of the compaction process. Experimental studies allow obtaining such rheological properties of soil as elasticity, viscosity, coefficient of elastic resistance, etc. The main recommendations for the choice of compaction method depending on the type of soil have been proposed.

The process of creating an accident-resistant fuel system (AFS) of a helicopter using mathematical modeling is considered. Possibility of applying optimization algorithms in mathematical modeling of parameters of units of accident-resistant fuel system of helicopter in domestic software complex SimInTech is studied. An approach to solving the problem of optimizing given parameters, both in theory and in practice, is described. Results of the simplest optimization of AFS parameters for nominal operation mode are covered, examples of algorithms for selection of unit parameters are shown. This method of researching the system will allow, with a high degree of accuracy, to determine the necessary parameters at the design stage of the system. It is worth noting that the functionality of the developed dynamic mathematical model in the SimInTech software package is sufficient to perform tasks not only of the conceptual design stage, but also of the subsequent stages of the AFS life cycle.

The article describes the developed radiometer for Express measurement of alpha radiation of radioactive elements based on a large-diameter silicon detector. The main element of the PPD detector is made using computer mathematical modeling of all stages of the technological process of manufacturing detectors, taking into account at each stage the degree of influence of the properties of the initial silicon on the electrophysical and radiometric characteristics of the detector. Detectors are manufactured for certain types of devices. The developed radiometer is designed to measure alpha radiation of natural isotopes (238U, 234U, 232Th, 226Ra, 222Rn, 218Po, 214Bi, etc.) in various environments. It also shows the principle of operation of the device, provides a block diagram of the measuring complex, describes the electronic components of the radiometer, as well as the block diagram. Signal transformations (spectrum transfer, filtering, accumulation) are implemented programmatically on the basis of a digital processing module. The device can detect the presence of specific elements in various environments, as well as protect people from the harmful effects of adverse radiation and can be used both in the field and stationary.

In order to determine the possibility of using the method of mathematical modeling for making long-term forecasts of channel deformations of trunk line underwater crossing (TLUC) through water obstacles, a methodology for performing and analyzing the results of mathematical modeling of channel deformations in the TLUC zone across the Kuban River is considered. Within the framework of the work, the following tasks were solved: 1) the format and composition of the initial data necessary for mathematical modeling were determined; 2) the procedure for assigning the boundaries of the computational domain of the model was considered, the computational domain was broken down into the computational grid, the zoning of the computational domain was performed by the value of the roughness coefficient; 3) the analysis of the results of modeling the water flow was carried out without taking the bottom deformations into account, as well as modeling the bottom deformations, the specifics of the verification and calibration calculations were determined to build a reliable mathematical model; 4) considered the possibility of using the method of mathematical modeling to check the stability of the bottom in the area of TLUC in the presence of man-made dumping or protective structure. It has been established that modeling the flow hydraulics and structure of currents, making short-term forecasts of local high-altitude reshaping of the bottom, determining the tendencies of erosion and accumulation of sediments upstream and downstream of protective structures are applicable for predicting channel deformations in the zone of the TLUC. In all these cases, it is mandatory to have materials from engineering-hydro-meteorological and engineering-geological surveys in an amount sufficient to compile a reliable mathematical model.

The article opens a cycle of three consecutive publications dedicated to the phenomenon of the displacement of the same points in overlapping scans obtained adjacent CCD matrices with opto-electronic imagery. This phenomenon was noticed by other authors, but the proposed explanation for the origin of displacements and the resulting estimates are insufficient, and developed their solutions seem controversial from the point of view of recovery of the measuring accuracy of opticalelectronic space images, determined by the physical laws of their formation. In the first article the mathematical modeling of the expected displacements based on the design features of a scanning opto-electronic imaging equipment. It is shown that actual bias cannot be forecast, because they include additional terms, which may be gross, systematic and random values. The proposed algorithm for computing the most probable values of the additional displacement and ways to address some of the systematic components of these displacements in a mathematical model of optical-electronic remote sensing.

The application of line-start permanent magnet synchronous motors (LSPMSMs) is rapidly spreading due to their advantages of high efficiency, high operational power factor, being self-starting, rendering them as highly needed in many applications in recent years. Although there have been standard methods for the identification of parameters of synchronous and induction machines, most of them do not apply to LSPMSMs. This paper presents a study and analysis of different parameter identification methods for interior mount LSPMSM. Experimental tests have been performed in the laboratory on a 1-hp interior mount LSPMSM. The measurements have been validated by investigating the performance of the machine under different operating conditions using a developed qd0 mathematical model and an experimental setup. The dynamic and steady-state performance analyses have been performed using the determined parameters. It is found that the experimental results are close to the mathematical model results, confirming the accuracy of the studied test methods. Therefore, the output of this study will help in selecting the proper test method for LSPMSM.

ABSTRACTThe paper presents the results of numerical modeling of thermomechanical stresses and thermal fields for conditions of erosion-resistant electrode coatings of magnetically controlled MEMS switches with W-Ti-Cu structure at local temperature and electric current influence in axially symmetrical approximation. It is shown that the introduction of titan interlayer (30-100 nm) in the coating with W-Ti-Cu structure results in considerable (more than two times) decrease of internal thermomechanical stresses between layers that increases coating resistance to delamination. It is established that there is an optimum value of Ti layer thickness at which the minimum thermomechanical stresses are provided.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of winter land use on the amount of residual straw, the physical soil properties and grain yields of maize, common bean and soybean summer crops cultivated in succession. The experiment was carried out in the North Plateau of Santa Catarina state, Brazil, from May 2006 to April 2010. Five strategies of land use in winter were evaluated: intercropping with black oat + ryegrass + vetch, without grazing and nitrogen (N) fertilization (intercropping cover); the same intercropping, with grazing and 100 kg ha-1 of N per year topdressing (pasture with N); the same intercropping, with grazing and without nitrogen fertilization (pasture without N); oilseed radish, without grazing and nitrogen fertilization (oilseed radish); and natural vegetation, without grazing and nitrogen fertilization (fallow). Intercropping cover produces a greater amount of biomass in the system and, consequently, a greater accumulation of total and particulate organic carbon on the surface soil layer. However, land use in winter does not significantly affect soil physical properties related to soil compaction, nor the grain yield of maize, soybean and common bean cultivated in succession.

Background. The avalanche-like growth of intravitreal injections in the world has significantly increased interest in the hemodynamics of the processes that occur in the eye when a drug is injected into the vitreous cavity. Every year, the number of intravitreally used drugs and promising areas in which they can be used is growing. This also applies to the creation of new combined medicines and the development of drugs with a long-term therapeutic effect. Aims. Create mathematical model of eyeball to evaluate the movement of the drug substance in it; to estimate the time of the drug's presence in the eye cavity before its complete removal, to characterize the ways of its removal from the eye cavity; to assess the significance of posterior vitreous detachment during the time when the drug is present in the eye cavity; to evaluate the effect on the hydrodynamics of the depth of drug administration. Results. When the drug is administered closer to the center of the eyeball, its residence time increases in comparison with the parietal administration. With a complete posterior detachment of the vitreous body, the time of finding the drug in the eye is prolonged compared to its absence. The obtained results of mathematical modeling of the movement of the drug administered intravitreally cannot be mechanically transferred to the human eye, due to the more complex structure of the latter. Key words: intravitreal injections, vitreous body, mathematic computing.
