Inquiry-Based Learning is one of the teaching approach that requires students to actively construct and develop their ideas. It gives students meaningful experiences and insights in constructing their ideas in a coherent and structured manner. A pre-experimental research design using quantitative approach with one-group pre-test post-test design was implemented. Research questions was addressed: what is the effect of Inquiry-Based Learning on the students’ learning outcomes in writing ability? The sample of this study was thirty-students in 11th grade of SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Makassar. Students were given a pre-test and post-test which were analyzed to determine students’ learning outcomes in writing descriptive text. Upon testing the hypotheses, the results indicated that there was significant difference between students’ learning outcomes in pretest and post-test after Inquiry-Based Learning was implemented. The writers proposed that Inquiry-Based Learning be implemented in other English skills, higher education levels, and for both normal and special needs students.

The Effectiveness of Group Investigation Learning Models on Student Learning Outcomes in Subjects of Fiqh. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the group investigation learning model class XI MIPA is more effective than the conventional learning model class XI IIS 1 on the learning outcomes of students of class XI Aliah Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon on Fiqh subjects. The research is in the form of experiments with the type of experiment conducted is quasi-experimental research (Quasy Experiment Research). Based on the results of statistical calculations from the average post-test results of the control class 68.35 and the average post-test results of the experimental class 72.75 obtained calculations using the SPSS program with a significance of significance (Sig 2-tailed) is 0.034, a significance value of 0.034 <0.05. Then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the results of the post-test of the control class and the experimental class. Thus, it can be said that the teaching and learning process carried out with the group investigation learning model in class XI MIPA is more effective than conventional learning models in class XI IIS 1 on student learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh.   Keywords: Fiqh lessons, Group Investigation, Learning Outcomes   Abstrak Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Fiqih. Adapun penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimen dengan jenis eksperimen yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasy Experiment Reasearch). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik dari rata-rata hasil post-test kelas kontrol 68,35 dan rata-rata hasil post-test kelas eksperimen 72,75 diperoleh perhitungan menggunakan program SPSS dengan signifikansi signifikansi (Sig 2-tailed) adalah 0,034, nilai signifikansi 0,034 < 0,05. Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil post-test kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan dengan model pembelajaran group investigation di kelas XI MIPA lebih efektif daripada model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas XI IIS 1 terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fiqih.   Kata kunci: Pelajaran Fiqih, Group Investigation, Hasil Belajar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan artikel ilmiah dalam pembelajaran biokimia di perguruan tinggi pada konsep metabolisme energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 22 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Dua proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini mengacu kepada pembelajaran aktif, yaitu mahasiswa belajar secara terarah dan dilakukan secara mandiri (Direct Study/DS), kemudian secara kelompok untuk mendiskusikan hasil pekerjaan mandiri (Discussion Group/DG). Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian adalah hasil belajar mahasiswa berupa pretest dan posttest dan kuesioner. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang siginifikan antara pretest dan posttest setelah pembelajaran menggunakan artikel ilmiah sebagai sumber pembelajaran biokimia. Peningkatan pretest dan posttest menghasilkan nilai n-gain yang berada pada kategori “sedang”. Rata-rata nilai persepsi dan komitmen mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan artikel ilmiah berada pada kategori “sedang”. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran biokimia pada topik metabolisme energi dengan menggunakan artikel ilmiah memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar dan minat mahasiswa.SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES AS BIOCHEMISTRY LEARNING RESOURCESThis study aims to determine the use of scientific articles in biochemical learning in higher education, especially on the energy metabolism concept. This study used a One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The research subjects were 22 students of the Chemistry Education Study Program FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Two learning processes carried out in this study refer to active learning, namely students learn in a focused and independent manner (Direct Study/DS), then in groups to discuss the results of independent work (Discussion Group/DG). The data obtained in the study were student learning outcomes in the form of pre-test and post-test and questionnaires. The data were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test after learning using scientific articles as a source of biochemistry learning. The increase in pre-test and post-test resulted in an n-gain value that was in the "medium" category. The average value of students' perceptions and commitments in learning using scientific articles is in the "medium" category. This indicates that learning biochemistry on the topic of energy metabolism using scientific articles has a positive impact on student learning outcomes and interest.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) terhadap hasil siswa pada mata pelajaran Motor Bensin kelas XI di SMK Negeri 1 Motoling. Penelitian ini dikategorikan dalam penelitian Eksperimen Semu (quasi exsperimental). Desain penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah desain jenis pre-test dan post-test group design. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 4,4360 dan nilai t tabel 1,6772 artinya  nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel maka signifikan. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada penggunaan model pembelajaran Kooperatif TAI (Team Assisted Individualization)  dan konvensional terhadap pencapaian hasil belajar siswa di SMK N 1 Motoling.     Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Team Assisted Individualization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) cooperative learning model on student outcomes in the XI class of gasoline motorbike subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Motoling. This research is categorized as a quasi-experimental research. The research design used in this study was a pre-test and post-test group design. Based on the hypothesis test, the t value is 4.4360 and the t table value is 1.6772, which means that the t value is greater than the t table, so it is significant. This study aims to determine the effect of using collaborative learning methods on narrative essay writing skills. This type of research is quantitative using the experimental method. In this study two classes were used, namely the experimental class and the control class, the experimental class was the deliberate class given a set of treatments by applying collaborative learning methods while the control class as the comparison class applied the conventional method. The results of the study, collaborative learning methods influence the writing skills of narrative essays in the experimental class, this is evidenced by the change in the value of students, which at the time of pre-test the average/mean is 74.8. After applying collaborative learning methods in the learning process in the experimental class, changes in student learning outcomes were obtained at post-test with an average value of 82.4. In conclusion, there is a significant difference between the results of narrative essay writing skills between collaborative learning methods and conventional methods. <p><strong>Abstract:</strong><strong> </strong>The purpose of the research and development that is producing a eligible interactive multimedia products with valid criteria, practical, interesting, and effective. This research and development using model Lee &amp; Owens. The results showed that the products were very valid with an average percentage of 89.9%, very practical with an average percentage of 94.5%, very interesting with an average of 96%. Product effectiveness shows that products improve student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the significant difference between the value of the post-test experimental class and the control class with an average difference of 11.87.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif yang layak dengan memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, kemenarikan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model Lee &amp; Owens. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa produk sangat valid dengan rata-rata presentase 89,9%, sangat praktis dengan rata-rata presentase 94,5%, sangat menarik dengan rata-rata 96%. Keefektifan produk menunjukkan bahwa produk dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai post-test kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan perbedaan rata-rata 11,87.

This study aims to determine the project-based learning-STEM model's effect on biology learning outcomes in growth and development material. The learning was carried out in class XII IPA students of SMA Negeri 1 Muncar in the 2018/2019 academic year. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The instrument in this study was a test given in the experimental class and the control class. The data were analyzed using parametric statistical analysis. There is a difference in the average post-test learning outcomes of the experimental class (PjBL-STEM model) with the control class's post-test learning outcomes using the independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis show that Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 0.05, which can be interpreted that there is a significant difference in the average student learning outcomes between the PjBL-STEM model (experimental class) and the conventional model (control class). The average post-test score of the experimental class with the PjBL-STEM model was 87.50, while the average score in the Control class was 79.82, so that there was an increase in the value of 7.68 in the experimental class. The PjBL-STEM model's application to improve learning outcomes can be continued with other materials that have STEM characteristics.

Mind mapping, or the term Mind Mapping and Problem Based Learning, both researchers apply as a model in the examiner class and the monitoring class in this research learning. This research is aimed at notifying whether or not a significant difference can be found between the two or not in economic lessons that are focused on student learning outcomes. In the class of examiners who use Mind Mapping as a model in learning, the researcher uses X IPS 1 in this research. Meanwhile, in the review class that used Problem Based Learning as a model in learning, researchers used X IPS 3 in this research. Quasi-experimental design, or a method that is designed without randomizing the examiner class and the monitoring class in the research and is only given a post-test after being given treatment, otherwise known as the Non-Equivalent Post-Test Only Control Group Design which the researcher uses as this research method. . All students in class X totaled 90 people, each of whom was divided into 3 classes into the population in this research. Sampling technique , known as Simple random samplingSimple Random Sampling, is also the researcher's choice of in this research, from 3 population classes, the researcher chooses X IPS 1 and class X IPS 3 to be the sample. The post-test was chosen as the data collection method, after the post-test data was obtained then the data would be analyzed using a technique from the t test (partial test) which in English is known as the independent sample t-test. Researchers received the results from the computer statistical program SPSS 24.0 for Windows with the results of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. In order to support this research, the significance value must be <0.005, and that means the result of the Significance value in this research is 0.000 <0.005. The results of these researchers used as evidence of acceptance of the research hypothesis in this research, namely that there was a significant difference between student learning outcomes in economic subjects using thetype of cooperative learning model and Mind Mapping student learning outcomes in economic subjects usinglearning models Problem Based Learning in class. X SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja, 2020/2021 academic year.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode konvensional pada materi suhu dan kalor peserta didik kelas VII B MTs Negeri 3 Enrekang. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimen dengan One Group Pre and Post Test. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VII B sebanyak 24 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif, nilai rata-rata pre test hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu 49,83, sedangkan nilai rata-rata post test hasil belajar peserta didik, yaitu 57,58. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum menerapkan metode pembelajaran konvensional dengan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menerapkan metode konvensional. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu diharapkan agar pendidik dapat berinovasi dalam memilih metode mempelajaran dan menyesuaikan dengan materi yang akan diajarkan, agar nilai hasil belajar peserta didik dapat meningkat secara signifikan. AbstractThis study aims to determine student learning outcomes using conventional methods on the material of temperature and heat for class VII B students of MTs Negeri 3 Enrekang. The research method used is quasi-experimental with One Group Pre and Post Test. The sample of this research is class VII B as many as 24 people. Data collection is done by using the learning outcomes test. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, the average value of the pre-test of student learning outcomes is 49.83, while the average value of the post-test of student learning outcomes is 57.58. Furthermore, based on hypothesis testing, it was obtained that there was no significant difference in learning outcomes between student learning outcomes before applying conventional learning methods and student learning outcomes after applying conventional methods. The implication of this research is that it is hoped that educators can innovate in choosing learning methods and adapting to the material to be taught, so that the value of student learning outcomes can increase significantly

The purpose of this study was to determine; (1) wheter there is a difference in student’ learning outcomes in the experimental class before and after the treatment of documentary film given (pre-test-post-test), (2) Whether there is an increase (gain) of students’ learning outcomes , (3) Whether documentary film are effective media in improving students’ learning outcomes, (4) how the response of the students  towards the utilization of documentary films in the teaching and learning of Social Science. This study was designed by using Pre Experimental Design of the study One Group Pre-test - Post-test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that (1) there is a significant difference in students’ learning outcomes in the experimental class before and after treatment by using documentary film given (pre-test - post-test), (2) There was an increase of (gain) of students’ learning outcomes in the experimental class after the treatment by using documentary film of 0.53 which was interpreted as moderate, (3) the effectiveness of documentary films as media to improve student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase/ difference of the pre-test and post-test result with an average of 26.48 with a deviation standard of 14.13 tasted on the media feasibility, namely judgment test where the results obtained from the test were of 73.85% from matter experts, 76.47% media expert test, 75% from computer expert so that these percentages showed that the media used in this study were feasible to be utilized (4) The  students’ responses regarding the media used from the questionnaire’s total scores ranged from 36 to 44.Keywords: teaching and learning media, documentary film , learning outcomes.

Basic ecology is the basic science that studies the interrelationships between living things and their environment. One of the content in this course is terrestrial ecosystems. The aim of learning this subject is students can carry out experiments (practicum) both in the laboratory or in the UNWAHA environment. This research aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students by applying guide discovery learning in making miniature ecosystems. This research uses a pra experiment design. This research uses a one-group pretest-posttest design research design that is doing a pre-test before implementation and a post-test after implementation. To know the increase of student's cognitive learning outcomes through guide discovery learning, used N-gain test and paired sample t-test. The research instruments used are observation sheets and tests (pre-test and post-test). The results showed that the cognitive learning outcomes of students increased with an average grade of 64 to 84. N-Gain results show that two students of low category, 16 students of moderate category, and three students of high category students. Based on the results of the t-test obtained Sig < 0.05 is 0.00. Then it can be stated that there is a significant difference between the value of pre-test and post-test. In other words, there was an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of discovery learning guide learning. Based on the average class and t-test results, concluded that guided discovery learning can increase student's cognitive learning outcomes.
